Crazy I hadnt discovered this place sooner. Customer service at its finest! A rarity in South Florida. The place is clean, organized, well stocked and SAFE. Todd...the owner...Is a great help when you need an extra hand or an ingenious suggestion. I did a torque converter swap and it took me half the time it would have at home on jack stands and WAY safer. Money well spent. Next time I might bring along some of my own tools but they have everything you need. As an experienced mechanic I was VERY impressed and I wish I would have known about this place sooner. Would have saved me time and discomfort. Again...worth every penny. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Todd is a pretty Matter of Fact kinda guy so dont take it personally and let it rub you the wrong way, actually one of the most knowledgable people Ive met in a while and takes the time to help if hes not busy. The shop has pretty much any tool you could need to DIY your car, including Lifts and air tools. The shop is kept clean and I always enjoy the experience of having done the job myself at the end of the day.

I’ve been going to Garage Yourself since 2013. I am positive none of my vehicles would be drivable if it wasn’t for GY, and Todd. With a lift and all the tools you would ever need, it makes a great environment for working on your vehicle. He can even order quality parts if needed. Best thing about doing the repairs yourself is knowing they’re done right!

It was the first time I went to a place like this one. What an amazing place if you love to do the job yourself. Tons of great and the right tool to make your life easier. Todd is extremely terrific and can guide you on what you are doing at some point. I will definitely come back. Btw I replaced the axles on a Nissan Murano.

Friendly staff, typical garage feel has basic necessary mechanic tools, u can do most of not all jobs in there if u know what ur doing, definitely better than under a tree work

Awesome place needed some quick holes drilled in a 3/4” aluminum plate and Todd is the man in and out in 10 mins. Not just for cars but and diy projects. All the tools any one could want.

The brake caliper failed on my wifes car yesterday so I replaced the brake caliper, brake pads and rotor. I brought my RX Lexus in for an oil change, my first time at this place, Tod was the manager on duty, very nice and helpful guy. He helped raise raise my car on the lift, they disposed of the old oil and have all the tools needed! I brought my own oil and filter. Traveled 45min to get there. When there with a crew of 3 ppl to work on my car. 1 person had to stay outside for 5 hours . Only allows 2 person per bay should say that on website clearly.

Came here to finish an install of rears springs on my 2003 4runner. Got the job done much easier and faster having access to the lift and practically any tool you can think of. I’ll be back!

This place is the best great clean garage - all the tools you need and the guy always has the words to help you get it done if your own brain gets stuck.Ive done shocks, struts, brakes and bearings at this shop -- also go for my oils and trany fluid changes.

I called the office to asked to speak with the owner about policies and was completely dismissed, the man I spoke with was extremely rude and wrote me off? Told me not to call back and that I was wasting his time, I barely got a word in, he said I was going to be added to the do not call list? I was so confused. I must say that this has been a great experience. Working on my car has been a great experience at garage yourself in Miami!!! I decided to replace the inner and outer tie rods on my Toyota Sienna after watching a DIY fix on you tube. The process seemed simple enough for anyone to perform.Todd is extremely helpful and gives you all assistance you might need to get the job done! He has all the tools for any job. While I was there, I decided to do additional repairs. I changed my transmission oil and filter, engine oil and filter, rear drum brake pads and cylinders, purged the brake lines with new brake fluid, and replaced the rear shocks. He got me all the additional parts I needed under an hour! Actually, I was still working on my rods when all my additional parts arrived!!Furthermore, when I required an extra hand, he was there!! and he gave me easy to understand instructions on how to do each fix the right way. All thanks to the owner and operator Todd!! Rest assured there are no hidden fees or extra charges at the end of your job! I got everything done SAVING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS!! I only paid my additional parts at great prices and the hourly rate listed on his website.

Always good advice from this guy, for the do it your selfer this place will save you hours of time. Lift the car all the tools are there and just get it done. Changed out my shocks in 2 hrs would have taken 3 or 4 with a floor jack. It makes life so nice no to worry about if you have what you need, also if you live in a condo like me that frowns on car work this is the solution without hassle. Yes and great music all the time. The world needs more people like this guy.

Ive visited this place a few times to work on my own car. The staff was always welcoming and friendly and very helpful. Recently Saturday (yesterday), I was finishing up my swap on my paseo. The head tool I had stripped and Todd ordered the tool so I could finish the project. If I needed any help he was always willing and gave very helpful advice. All the tools I needed were readily available and well kept. At $25 an hour, its a steal of a deal. I plan on coming back to work on my car very soon. Very happy this place exist. Worth the trip from tamarac to go there. Five stars the way.

Been going there for quite a while. Ive maintained and fixed every car in my household. The place is extremely clean and well organized (for a shop). All the right tools for all the tricky jobs that come up on old and newer vehicles. I highly recommend this shop to anyone whos a shade-tree mechanic like me.The customer service and tips are outstanding; the owner is very knowledgeable and professional. I love the fact that in addition to getting parts delivered theres an AutoZone within walking distance. I typically buy lifetime warranty parts from them.

I came in today because I had a leaking exhaust. Without too much knowledge about welding the owner said that he offers welding at a fixed price. He took his time to explain things to me and also fixing many holes in my exhaust. I will definitely be back for other work I plan on doing.

If you are unfortunate as me to not have a garage, carport, or anything remotely resembling a comfortable work environment to wrench on your car.... THIS IS YOUR PLACE.Every tool under the sun that you need to get the job done. Lifts, engine/trans jacks, tire changers, air tools, hand tools, grinders, cutters, and a plethora of more tools I dont even know how to use. Most to all available at your own private station. There is something like 8 or more stations with its own private lift.The garage feels safe and it is clean. Very well maintained, The owner is very very knowledgeable and didnt hesitate to give us a hand or advise at any point. We loved the place so much we took our time and were there about 8 hours working on two cars at a comfortable and assuring pace. We installed downpipes, full exhausts, diff bushing inserts and saddle inserts, transmission mount, crossmember mounts, to name a few.Pricing is very very very good. I will not write how much it was here as I dont want to create discrepancies with the website or any price changes in the future.This is your place. Go and check it out for yourself and before you know it, youll be back in a few minutes with some part to install !! Its that awesome!Kudos to Todd, for providing such a great service!

Absolutely awesome place for automotive diy. Lots of lifts and tools available. Todd is super helpful and ready to give pointers if needed. Good music playing and friendly dogs hanging out. Cold drinks are available for purchase, and there’s a Popeyes down the street if you need a lunch break. Can’t wait to come back.

Great shop, i was able to rebuild the front end on my truck and lift it in record setting time. Everything i needed was in the shop, tools and utilities organized and maintained. This place has all the tools you could ever need and get you the parts as well. Todd is a master in Honda cars and can can even help with most other makes (from years of mechanical experience). He can even get the instructions for you to help with the job too. Above board operation over all. For those who cant work on cars in their residence, this is the place. Even if you can work at your place, I doubt you have a dyno or the equipment to replace your tires onto your wheels and balancing after (yeah hes got those too). Who better to trust the the work was done than yourself.

Todd is Literally Jekyll and Hyde.Occurrence - 3/28/19 - 11:15 amTodds area of business has two gates; the main gate opens/closes access to his parking lot while the second gate opens/closes entry to his shop. The two times Ive visited his shop, his main gate has always been open. All I had to do was drive in, park my car in the parking lot, and inquire on space availability to work on my car.Today, however, was a different story. Today the main gate was closed. I parked my car outside of the gate - on the street. I opened and closed the gate behind me. I figured this was probably his way of saying that his shop is full and hes not taking anymore customers. I walk inside the shop.I noticed a guy waiting for something, probably Todds attention, and I also noticed his shop was full. I came in just to inquire on a better time to return. I waved and said hello to Todd as he worked on a car and I also pet and said hello to both his dogs whom were walking around inside the shop.As I continued to look around, my attention was quickly brought to Todd as he yelled with frustration, are you F***ing kidding me? Mind you, I am not Todds friend nor have we ever established any kind of relationship that would allow this sort of conduct or profanity between us. I thought he was directing his message to a friend of his. He then says, You dont know how close a gate? Thats when I realized he was directing his anger and profanity towards me.While still trying to analyze and understand the situation at hand, dumbfounded I responded with, I closed the gate... Now doubting whether I did or not. Todd responds with, Do you know how to f***ing close a gate? Amused this time, I look behind me and noticed the gate moved slightly about five inches from its original closed position, leaving about a foot of clearance.At this point, he already lost me as a returning customer. But he kept on. With frustration and anger on his face and tone, he quickly storms by me and says, What are you going to do if one of my dogs goes stray? He storms towards the gate and closes it completely. He then says, I cant believe you dont know how to f***ing close a gate! He then storms back into the shop.All of this happened in less than two minutes of my arrival. I smiled, opened the gate again, and left.Heres what stood out to me the most:1) I was dumbfounded by his choice of profanity and frustration in attempts to address a situation only he had picked up on at that time. A very simple, Oh hey, would you mind doing me a favor and completely close the gate behind you. I wouldnt want my dogs to stray, wouldve been more than enough for me to abide by his favor and close the gate completely. It goes to show that Todd clearly has issues with customer service relations or even social relations at that matter.2) I found it astonishing that after his little diva tantrum he threw, he still closed the gate with me still being inside the shop! How could he possibly think that I would tolerate his response and still continue to pursue his services? It goes to show, there might be some screws loose up there.3) Going back to the screws loose - I still cant believe how easily this guy flipped. He was somewhat friendly and knowledgeable the first two times I visited and asked for his help. But as a business owner to talk down on your customers in that way? I still cant wrap my head around it.Oh well. On the quest to find another garage.

Excellent shop to work on your car well locate and they have everything you need to make it happen and I mean EVERYTHING all kinds of lifts and tools for American, European and Japanese cars and if you find yourself with a curve ball Todd is a very knowledgeable guy (the guy is an engineer for god sake ) and he will always come up with a good idea to fix the problem so yeah try it out with no fear you wont regret, have been working on me VW Jetta there for a while from oil change to more complex work and every time i go there makes me want to go back in fact going back today for a radiator and vacuum lines replacement :)
