I live close by and any time I have any kind of issue with my car, I go there as they seem to know about everything. These guys are so efficient, as soon as you drive in someone comes to greet you and they start working on it right away. They are quick, professional, courteous, and fair in their pricing. Other businesses could learn a lot from their customer service model. Would highly recommend.

Incredible & Honest Auto Service!Moving from NY, I was looking for a mechanic to help service my Mercedes for new brakes, tires, oil change suspension services, etc. After going to several local body shops in south Miami, I soon realized that most places were trying to rip me off. (Unfortunately, they think they can get away with it if you are a woman) But Luckily, I found Mago Del Ponche and I have been going to them for 2 years for maintenance and upkeep for my vehicle. They are family owned, consistent, affordable and reliable auto service. I greatly appreciated their communication, fair and dependable services. I really know nothing about cars but their staff will go out of their way to ensure you understand both the issue and what is needed to be fixed. The prices are fair and they have a great reputation in the industry by providing an efficient and fast repair turn around. I came in with a half punctured tire on the sidewall of the tire, they were able to fix it in one try where other places had claimed to and not actually done the work. They took maybe 20 minutes, a great experience especially for the price.

This place is fantastic! My flat tire was patched for $15, the service was fast and friendly. Yes, the dealer has coffee, a waiting area, and TV, but I had to buy a new tire on a car I bought a week ago because tires are not covered by the warranty. I definetly recomend this place. Expect honest, fast service at a fair price, but not luxury.

I had to replace a timing belt on my 2001 car. I went to a different shop to do the repair, but I kept experiencing issues with the camshaft position sensor p340 code. The original shop kept telling me that the problem was not due to the timing belt that they installed. I finally got fed up and took the car to El Mago for a 2nd opinion. After a couple of days, they diagnosed and solved the problem. I was very satisfied with both the work and the price for the job.

For flats, its hard to beat this place. Many places may try to sell you a new tire because the nail, screw, or whatever punctured your tire has made the tire unrepairable. Not here. Ive had these types of situations at other places and have ended up back here to repair the tire. They will patch or plug your tire as needed in a quick and professional manner. If they say it cant be done, Id believe them. Ive never had any issues with any of the patches Ive had done here. Dont expect a luxurious waiting area or any other nonsense like that. What you will get is an honest assessment of the tire problem and a prompt resolution. They will not overcharge you and always seem willing to help you out if funds are an issue.

Car had a defective part. It was diagnosed promptly by the owner despite the place being full. After given the estimate I searched for the price of the part online and what they were charging me was VERY reasonable. Not only that the repair was done the same day!I cannot endorse them enough.

If you get a nail stuck in your tired dont bother to go to a regular gas station to get a simple plug. These guys are lightning-fast you will be in and out in less than 15 minutes oh, they do it old school style, they take the tire off the rim find the hole and seal it with a rubber patch and rubber cement from the inside. The charge 12 bucks and you never have to worry about it ever again.

No need to go anywhere else for all your tire (or other mechanical) needs. Great service, great customer service and always fair pricing!

I took my Hummer H3 for brake resurfacing and an oil change. Carlos and his brother, along with their team, punctually attended to me. They had all the top quality parts I had requested onsite. They also made recommendations, refilled some fluids my truck had run out of, and reset the default language on the trucks computer. I was very pleased with their speed and quality of their service and with the feedback I constantly got from them as they worked on the truck. Their price beat all possible competitors in the area.

GARBAGE. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. These guys are not mechanics. Theyre tire guys that think theyre mechanics. I had they change out my front end links for $50 and I supplied the parts. This job doesnt take more than 2hrs. The so called mechanic working on my car had no idea what he was doing. He ended up cracking the tab on the shock on which one end of the link bolts to. He accomplished that with an air chisel. They were closing by the time the guy finished changing them. The manager or owner told me that I could come the next day at 8am to have the welder fix the cracked tab. I show up the next day and I find out from the only employee that the welder doesnt start till 9am. They made me waste my time. I had to get to work. So I left. Long story short, doesnt waste your time unless you want more damage cause to your car.

Today I purchased 4 new Continental run flat tires for my car. The service technician damage all the wheels on my Mercedes Benz. I informed the owner and he claims his staff did not damage the wheels. The owner did not offer any resolution to the problem. No accountability for all the damage done. I do not recommend this shop. Avoid this place!!!

This mechanic was referred to me by an old coworker and I was extremely pleased by their service. Since then, I go to them for everything. Every time I go on a road trip, I take it to Carlos to help me with tuning my car up and I know I can trust him. On one occasion, he noticed some wear and tear to a piece of my axel (some part that holds the tire to the frame). He pulled up my car model on the computer to show me exactly which part he was referring to.I couldnt afford to fix it at the time but he told me it would be okay for a few months. When I came in to get it fixed, he charged me very little for labor and made sure to keep the old part to show me exactly where it had been worn down. I was really impressed by that and I am always impressed by the service at this garage.
