After my car was ran into, I took my car to El Pilar. There was major damage to the outside of the passenger door (absolutely no damage on the inside). The job that Ricardo Cabrera did was horrendous.Not only did he hold onto my car for 3 months and 21 days (offering excuse after excuse as to why he needed more time), he then returned my car without the front/back BMW logos (his excuse was that someone must have stolen it while it was in the parking lot getting ready to be fixed) and promised that he would order new ones (still waiting on that…). Additionally, there’s a dent on the hood and the inside passenger door handle (refer to picture) was damaged considerably (there was no reason for him to be TOUCHING the inside door handle).I just took my car to get looked at (at another shop, obviously), and the mechanic showed me the inside of the passenger door. It looks like someone went in there and damaged everything on your purpose.Truthfully, my car looks like it was given to random people to take joy rides through out the almost 4 months that he held onto it— which would make sense considering I took it in with a full tank of gas and he returned the car running on fumes (i.e., empty).I will NEVER take my vehicles anywhere near El Pilar or Ricardo Cabrera, and I strongly recommend to anyone thinking about taking their car there: STAY CLEAR!!!

Just picked up my car today. There were some small dents, which were fixed as expected, working with my insurance company. Bonus points though for cleaning the car inside and out. I was sad to leave my old body shop, but glad I found this one!

My fiancé and I have gone to El Pilar body shop in Miami for the last 5 years for all of our cars needs. The owner, Ricardo, is like the neighborhood Godfather who wants to help everyone as well as meet their financial needs. I have to admit, he did a better job than the dealership and for A LOT less. My fiancé and I drive from North Broward County all the way to El Pilar and its very much worth the trip! We will always trust El Pilar with our cars, and recommend him to our friends and colleagues.
