The food was good but go before 4 pm because it’s not that fresh after that but it must be really good and fresh if you go early. It wasn’t my favorite to recommend again but maybe later I give another chance and try it again hopefully there is more options to choose and fresh.

I recommend this place to any Filipino visiting or in the Miami area. The owners treat you with the same hospitality you would expect from at any Filipino gathering. The food taste authentic and they make sure you leave full. The turon and flan were amazing! This place really made me feel at home 😊

Ms. Judith is amazing! She is so welcoming and will personally bring you dishes to let you try. My mom went about 30 minutes before closing and we were also traveling with my dog. She brought us food outside to try after wed already filled our plates from the buffet. We definitely recommend. Were from south Georgia and Id venture to say itd be worth the drive to experience such a homely vibe. It was 10 bucks a plate! Cant bet it! Theyve got a nice selection of groceries and homemade desserts ready to go too!

Went in to get halo halo (Filipino desert - kind of like an ice cream shake with toppings). Perfect for walking around in the warm Miami weather. I absolutely love this place. I stumbled upon it while exploring the area, and though it looks unassuming on the outside, theres lot of delicious food, snacks, and other goods from the Philippines. The $10 all you can eat buffet is extremely generous, with lots of variety. The service is top notch; I was given a guide to all the dishes and was regularly checked on while I was eating. Support your local business and try one of the most eclectic and rare cuisines out there at an amazing price.

I’ve really grown to love Filipino cuisine because my fiancé is half Filipino. We found the best spot for truly authentic homemade Filipino food. We had them make some party platters for our Cuban family this Thanksgiving and they all absolutely loved it. We had the dessert Buko Pandang, pancit (noodles), and lumpia (a cross between egg rolls and smaller spring rolls). If you’re looking for delicious and genuine homemade Filipino food, you have to try Manila Kantina in Downtown Miami.

This place is fantastic. The family that runs it is so kind and welcoming. I had a great meal and a lovely conversation with them and some of the other guests. A must-try.

Manila Kantina brings you home 🥰 Greeted by a welcoming lady and door opened for everyone. Reminded to use gloves when handling food. Delicious FOOD 🤤🤤 we were disappointed that Jollibee was closed but they were able to MAKE us fresh spaghetti AND THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN. Encouraged to eat like any other Filipino relative. Felt like home. Would highly recommend on coming here!!!

Ive been very curious about Filipino cuisine, so I took it upon myself to drive from Kendall to downtown Miami, deal with the heavy traffic and no parking situation that seems to plague downtown Miami, just to find the road in front of the restaurant is closed, so next was a two minute walk from where I parked. Once I arrived to the restaurant, I was greeted by a very warm and welcoming “hello” by whom appeared to be the cook, a woman who is about half my height but about the same age as my mother, she seemed like she just poured her soul into her last dish and was ready to serve me her next customer. She asked me what was I having today so I replied with “surprise me”. She proceeded to fill my plate sky high with chicken adobo, sausage, white rice, pork chunks, panset (Filipino noodles)and vegetable. My mouth was watering and I couldn’t wait until I made it back to the car to chow down on this magnificent meal. Once in my car the aroma from the clamshell plate filled my car as soon as I placed it on the passenger seat. I couldn’t wait any longer as I tore through the plastic back that had the most complex knot that I’ve ever seen, first this was sausages that looked so magandang (good) they were very juicy, cooked thoroughly, seasoned perfectly and a bit on the sweet side, the chicken adobo was flavor packed caught me off guard that it too was a bit sweet, next up the noodles that are very thin and a bit weird for the first time trying them, very aromatic and very interesting but did not fall short in the flavor category, the white rice had the right amount of salt to the point you can eat it solo, last was the pork chunks, ive never been a fan of pork skin as they tend to get too crunchy and too fatty for my taste, and that exactly what I received but with much more flavor then expected. Overall this is a pretty good restaurant for some harty home cooked Filipino cuisine, 100% will fight traffic to visit again.

My sweetheart and I decided to stop by and get some Halo Halo before our drive home to Jacksonville. Wow 🤩! It was mashadong masarap! One of the best I have had in South Florida. I am from Calgary, Alberta Canada and when we got to the place we were greeted and welcome the authentic filipino way. Warm welcome and the feeling of being home. Ate Maribel(hopefully i got the name right) started talking to us and already making us feel like she knew us and that you get that feeling of home. I would definitely recommend to visit this place. If you are interested to find out and taste good filipino comfort food you need to try this place.

The food was excellent! The service was wonderful! All the workers were welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Admittedly, my wife and I went to the buffet with no prior experience of Filipino food, but we were able to navigate the options thanks to the helpful staff. We were invited to sit anywhere we wanted, take as much food as we could eat, and try the whole buffet. Several of the staff checked up on us while we were dining to ask us whether we were enjoying the food. The cook even personally brought us out one of the dishes we hadnt tried yet to make sure that we could try everything. While we were eating, there were Filipino programs on the TV. And all of this for only $10 per person makes this one of the most affordable buffets in town.

Very Delicious Filipino Foods😋 I just passed by to take out orders of pork adobo, dinuguan and puto. They did not have puto but cassava cake, so I got one order. I also got some pancit on the House. Everything is so so delicious at very reasonable price. The service is excellent and homely atmosphere.
