I cant recommend Tony and the team at Tropical Turf highly enough. We had turf installed for our entire backyard after our dogs had destroyed all of our existing grass. From the very start Tony was fantastic to work with. Great communication, reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Pricing was right in range with other quotes we received, but their warranty was longer and we felt the most comfortable with Tropical Turf. Everything that Tony said to us was spot on; they were always on time and and they completed the project exactly on schedule. They even installed a border of pavers that we provided around our entire backyard, which was something we added on to the project at the last minute. We are so so happy with the work put out by the Tropical Turf team. We love our backyard and the finished product is amazing. From the start, Tony was very honest with us. There was a delay in material due to COVID 19 which of course is out of his control. He was not like other companies that make false promises they cant keep. This is one of my biggest pet peeves - do not promise something you cant meet. He kept us posted on status (I didnt have to reach out to him, he PROACTIVELY reached out to us). Before install again, numerous days of rain set schedule back but Tony again kept us abreast the entire time. The project was done in 4.5 days - He was here on time (another pet peeve of mine) I cant tell you how many people tell you they will be there and dont bother to call or show up so I really appreciated that. The team he had here cleaned up everyday before leaving for the day. Everyone was very professional and the pricing is very fair especially for quality of work put out. Tony & his team did an absolutelyPHENOMENAL job on our backyard!! First of all, Tony is an EXCELLENT project manager, who willshow up at your house initially to discuss your idea along with a myriad of grass samples for you to look over and tell him which one you think would be best for the project. He then will take measurements and email you an exact price quote for you to discuss with him. Once in accord he will set a date and show up then with his extremely dependable work crew! When I say dependable I mean that they literally went leaps & bounds ahead of what my wife & I were expecting and they were extremely precise with laying the grass around every existing item you have. When I say ‘existing item’ I mean things like my backyard pool pump equipment and my air conditioner units, and all the involving piping, as his crew made sure to lay the synthetic grass I chose scrupulously around EVERY single pipe, extension, & crevice!! He even surprisingly had his guys lay the same grass within the small crevices & space BEHIND my air conditioning units that were already hugged closely against my house!! Not only was he phenomenal with the aforementioned, but also (because I have a three year old), I was worried that the new grass would cover the holes for the pool baby gate that I have, and I told Tony about this concern, and he reassured me this would not be a problem for him & his team at all (wow was he right), as AFTER he installed the premium turf OVER my existing holes where my baby gate previously was, he created CUSTOM HOLES in the synthetic turf that EASILY fit for the pre-existing baby gate, and even way way more impressive, he custom-made premium PLUGS with golf grass on the top of the head of the plug for EACH hole of the baby gate that (when plugged in) is COMPLETELY flush with the ground, that makes you NOT EVEN NOTICE that there was EVER a hole there in the first place, and TRULY looks like the natural golf grass was NEVER disturbed!! I even told him I needed a few extra baby gate holes just to be safe a few days AFTER him & his team were finished, and he told me it would be absolutely NO PROBLEM for him to come by my house PERSONALLY within just a few days after my request (within the same week) and CUSTOM-CREATE the additional holes that I need for my son’s baby pool gate himself!! That was an AMAZING gesture of him to personally do for me!! Not only this, but Tony also was extremely amenable for any future additions if I ever came up with one (i.e. an additional chipping mat). Also, I loved how Tony will give you (only if you want....him & his team is very creative as well if you would prefer they do everything) the volition to shape any part of anything (i.e. putting green) to your EXACT liking and will confirm with you the final look beforehand. I say TEN STARS (at the very least) for Tony and his crew, as there is absolutely no better business that you will find (believe me, I contacted & interviewed MANY competitors beforehand) who will make your ultimate dream project come to life!! The Tropical Turf team put up an artificial boxwood wall in my backyard covered terrace, and I am very pleased with my service. They worked with utmost professionalism. We just bought our first home and the previous owners installed turf on one side of the yard but not the other and having two high energy level dogs really messed up the real grass so we have decided to finish the other part of the garden. The crew was super knowledgeable, did a spectacular job on the turf. I really liked that Tony had different samples with him, and after discussing our options we have decided to go with a better type of turf for the dogs so it’s easy to maintain. The price was very reasonable and also it comes with a 10 year warranty. I highly recommend Tony and his company and we will be hiring them again for the yearly maintenance as well!
