Overall not satisfied with the rug cleaning. Its like they took the rug for a week, didn’t do anything, then gave it back and told me it took forever to clean. Then took my money. No stains removed and it still smells.
Bountiful store and amazing customer service to match!! Max, the owner, helped us look through dozens of rugs to find the perfect fit for our new house. Despite having a price range at the lowest end of their merchandise, Max enthusiastically showed us rug after rug until we found the one that fit our taste, color and price. This store has 4 star reviews for a reason. We love our rug and will pass this on to generations to come!!
I went to this store to buy a carpet and it was a very friendly atmosphere. The store owner Joseph patiently educated me about all types of carpets and answered all the questions I had clearly. This store is an amazing experience and it is outstanding to see all of the handmade carpets from around the world. I am very happy with my purchase and the carpets are at very reasonable price, they have the lowest prices than anywhere I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend this store, he has my business for life!!
My go to dry cleaning company had changed ownership (without communicating it) and to my surprise they returned my 4 oriental rugs ruined: they were steamed and not properly cleaned, causing the color to bleed throughout and the fringes to assume a pink tint. Joseph from Oriental Rug Co, repaired and restored them to their original beauty (3 of them were Persian rugs purchased from him, one was from Pakistan and a gift from my Godmother). Rugs were returned before promised. I cant thank him enough for the professionalism and incredible customer service: I will never take my rugs anywhere else!!!! He has my business for life.
I found this rug place and it looks nice outside but inside is a rat cage, the place stinks, these rugs have been there for centuries, then i read somewhere else that he also sells used rugs. Joseph is the most rude seller ever, some kind of stupid oriental person.Need a rug go somewhere else. the rugs has no sticker prices so he would try to rip you off.
The place is run by very good professional people who really know their way around a rug. Highly recommended!
Edit to my previous review:The Owner contacted me a few months after my visit and made an enormous effort to make me happy. I really appreciated this. To make up for my experience which had not been the best, I was given a larger rug as a gift. Thank you Jacob for turning things around. The owners are good people after all who have 30 years of experience in the business.Previous review:I took my 5 x 8 rug to this place for cleaning. I thought I ought not to clean it myself but instead entrust the work to professionals. They called me a week later to tell me they had ruined my rug, so I showed up to see the damage. All the colors had run into each other and it was completely useless. Trying to improve the damage, they poured bleach on some parts of it, which only made it worse. I expected a full refund, of course, and I had the receipt of the rug with me.Not only was the person who I spoke with the rudest I have met, but he refused to apologize for the damage. After three hours (YES, THREE HOURS) of negotiation and insistence on my part I was forced to walk out of this store with a ruined rug and a check for half its worth. They would not make a full refund based on the fact that the rug was dirty and had 1 year worth of use when I delivered it to them, hence in their eyes they should only compensate for half. However, one week ago I at least had 1 useful rug. Now I have 0 rugs and a check that cannot buy me a replacement.
I recently inherited 5 rugs that were purchased here in 2002 at a price of $14,000.00. The original receipt was marked Persian rugs.I brought the rugs back to them to sell and the sales person told me that he would buy them back at $1200.00! I walked away knowing that he ripped off my relative. These rugs were in perfect shape, no kids, no dogs or cats. I met an honest expert who told me that the rugs were modern in 2002 and came from Pakistan as an import at around $6 a foot. When I looked at the rugs closely, they looked like something you would buy at Homegoods! My suggestion, if you are going to spend $14,000.00 on some rugs that you think are genuine and antique, bring an expert. I definetely would not trust these dealers despite anything. One would guess $14,000.00 for 5 rugs would be worth something. But having a receipt that says Persian on it just means my relative was a sucker. Kudos to them fo making such a huge profit from my relative but sooner or later reviews like this will show up.
