We came for lunch to escape the rain. Food was okay - server talked my friend into getting the ravioli which ended up being a bit lackluster. Midway through my drink I noticed there was a fly frozen inside of an ice cube. Manager took care of it for me but kind of ruined the mood. Alfredo was pretty good which made up for the bad drink.
Truly outstanding food, great service and killer location and atmosphere. Definitely order the burrata and octopus. Itβs hard to do octopus right and they nailed it.
Ordered food and my sandwich had no basil, no parm and no truffle oil. Its just mushrooms and mozzarella (not that I ordered)Plus the bread is soggy and the paper you wrap the sandwich in is All stuck to the breadThe Caesar salad I ordered is swimming in a pool of dressing so the lettuce is soggy as well...Ill never order from here again and Ill never go there! Horrible food
A true five star experience. Great service and ambience. Its difficult for an Italian to be set apart for its food, but every dish we ate here was outstanding, we didnt want to stop eating!

I chose Dolce over all the other nearby restaurants and bars for their much smarter selections of wine by the glass list to enjoy at the bar. I really enjoying both the Barbera and Gavi de Gavi by the glass. Very fair pricing.Great conversationalist bartender Ana really made the experience overall. She went above and beyond to make it a great experience. Pablo was super kind and helpful as well. I will return, I loved it!. Im a certified Somm. working here in Miami and its hard to find real wine by the glass program at Miami Beach restaurants. Come here after the beach for a great glass of vino and a great conversation with the bartender. CheersHeneral ManagerMarco passed by talking to each bar guest. Really kind and smart guy. I can definitely see why the the restaurants run so well.
Dolce Italian was better than I thought it would be. we went on a Friday night and we were seated right away. There were a few sections we could choose from - outdoors, tables near the bar, tables in the main dining area. We decided to sit in the main dining area because it looked the quietest. We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer, and they were pretty good but nothing special. When we were choosing our entrees, we asked the waiter for recommendations and he pointed out the most expensive items on the menu. He might have been telling the truth, but my friend and I had a good laugh. I ordered the lobster ravioli as my entree and was pleasantly surprised. It was absolutely delicious. There were quite a few flavors so it was an interesting dish. My friend ordered the eggplant parmesan and he enjoyed his meal as well. Im glad we decided to try this place for dinner.
Amazing place and more amazing staff! I called from out of town to have a special treat delivered to my wife and the manager Marco went above and beyond to make it happen and even have a card. Great place and highly recommended.
One of the best Italian restaurants in Miami. Weβve been eating at Dolce for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hands down; the breakfast is damn good. And the price is ridiculous cheap when it includes buffet, water, juice, coffee and an omelet. All this for only 18 dollars.Lunch and dinner have almost the same menu. The lobster ravioli is outrageously good. Our waiter, Alexandr, was super friendly and made our dinner one of the best in Miami. This is a must visit in Miami :)
Absolutely amazing food! We had the seafood risotto which was so delicious. It did not lack on the seafood thats for sure. Our server Katerina was so hospitable. She was incredibly patient with our questions about the menu. Best plate of food we have had in Miami.
Food was good. Overpriced but what isnt in miami. My gf loved the appetizer and her lobster ravioli and were from New England. I have to say our server Amos was absolutely amazing. One of the best servers Ive ever had. Your server makes the experience a big difference. He was great. I really hope this place appreciates what they have in their servers. Thank you Amos!
Dolce Italian Grill has a great atmosphere and follows that up with some delicious food and wonderful service. The appetizers were very good and had a nice presentation. The meals that followed were also freshly prepared using quality ingredients. I also really liked the Spicy Raspberry Collins drink! Not too spicy at all so give it a try! I do wish I had some sort of sauce for my Chicken Milanese but it was still very good as were the other meals we ordered.
Excellent customer service and great meals. Great for celebrations and vacations.
Delicious food, great service. Had a few appetizers, the spinach ravioli, and tiramisu. Food was excellent.
Highly recommend! We had the best attentive waiter that made great recommendations to us. The food was delicious as well as great wine selection. Excellent ambience and intimate experience.
This place is supposedly supposed to be great... lemme tell you itβs a complete rip off where they sneakily try to get you to spend money. For example, the waiter poured us water when we sat down. I was thinking ok cool. Water is free. NOPE!! That water was 9 dollars and they didnβt even tell us. Waiter was overall not very helpful and cared little about our table. We decided that we probably werenβt going to leave him a very good tip. Well... the tip was already included in the bill... so we couldnβt even do that. Waitstaff have no reason to do their job if they have no incentive lol. Joke of a restaurant
Amazing customer service and exceptional food! Risotto and the lobster ravioli was excellent! True authentic Italian food! Would highly recommend. Customer service top notch!
A Complete Surprise! We were staying at the Gale hotel and not sure why, I broke one of my Number 1 Rules and went to a restaurant associated with a hotel. The entire evening far exceeded our expectations. The food was fantastic and service was outstanding. As we were staying in the Gale, we even received a 20% discount! I look forward to going to Dolce Italian during our next visit, even if are not staying at the Gale!
Perfect place for a quick bite, coffee, or wine! Prices are great and food was yummy, so definitely make this a staple everytime in town!
As we live in a hotel in the building I had a breakfast here, I ordered eggs sunny side up and they brought it well done. Bagel was dry and was not eatable. I asked twice to bring butter and solt and lemon and spoons (they brought parfait and coffe without spoons). I ordered Earl grey and received regular black tea. Manager deleted bad positions from check and brought her apologizes and was very nice and kind. But still I will not recommend this place.
We make it a point to come here on our visits to Miami. This is a good, if not better that what weve had in Italy. It pricey for Italian, however the noticeable quality of ingredients in every dish are worth the expense. We had the bolognese which is some of the best anywhere. The meat is chopped coarsely vs ground, which I prefer. Had the Pizza capricciosa. Order it. Its really amazing pizza. Ive eaten indoors and outdoors. Both settings are spectacular.
This restaurant was amazing! Miami service is usually slow and i have had to track down my waiter just to get the bill - but not at Dolce. The waitress and staff were all very attentive and the food came out relatively quickly as well. The restaurant is really set to the pace you want and the food was spectacular. Ravioli and rosemary chicken is what I have to recommend. Cannot recommend this place enough!!
Inattentive wait staff. Had to ask for water refills twice. Cocktail was made incorrectly. Food was barely warm. Will not stay at this property or go to this restaurant again. Never an apology for the awful service.
Food and drinks were amazing. Service was horrible. For what you are spending you think you wouldnt have to wait for a high end drink, which was 15 minutes plus and asking waitress where it was, or for more water which was over an hour, following the completion of the meal. I could of had better service at a 1/4 of the price anywhere else.
Ho hum limited menu. Appetizers were strange concoctions. Entree, sea food risotto, was okThe key lime pie was very sub par.
The balsamic in my arugula salad was a bit bitter for my liking. It didnt highlight the radicchio as much as the radicchio became overpowering. The beef in my Risotto was delicious, but for the price of the plate, a bit more wouldve been preferred. The Risotto was undercooked and flat, no flavor. I had to add much pepper and some salt to find a hint of the cooking base. The drinks were great, my old fashioned was especially delicious, and my waiter and the other staff were phenomenal. The food was, eh. For a $140 price tag, it all really couldve been so much better.
Fabulous food. Salmon tartare was excellent and service at the level you would hope for - in a safe outdoor dining experience.
The food was amazing. Very very good. Service was slow but we experienced that everywhere in Miami Beach so maybe itβs just slower than what weβre accustomed to.
I love this place, it is so elegant π and thats what I like. I love that the waters come and keep pouring your drinks thats nice and the owner and the waiters check up on you. It is a beautiful scenery, great vibing music and the food was good. I had the lobster ravioli
One of the best meals Ive ever had and thats saying something- Im from New Orleans. Also the best service Ive had in all of Southbeach. Ask for Luca. Super chill, laid back, understated atmosphere. Unpretentious staff pays attention to every detail. The Branzino was light and delicate and crispy- simply delicious. I will come back here every visit to SOBE.
Really good, home made italian food. Little noisy sitting on Collins. Service so-so.
Wonderful place to sit and have a great time
Beautiful restaurant. Very clean washrooms. Nice staff. Under a hotel
Lobster ravioli are extremely good as well as Tagliatelle Bolognese.A bit overpriced
Great service and lovely atmosphere, but the food is just very bland and unimaginative.
The service is amazing here. From an Italian girl herself, can truly say that they never disappoint hitting all of the Italian flavoring in their food. It is a beautiful restaurant and a perfect spot for a night out in Miami.
The most awesome Italian restaurant Iβve ever eaten at. The food was super fresh, and very well prepared.
Just had a couple beverages and an appetizer. Alfredo was fantastic and big enough for sharing!
This is the best Italian dinner weve had in a restaurant, possibly ever! Fresh pasta -lobster ravioli bursting with flavors. Ricotta Cheesecake reminded me of my Nanas!
Was late to my reservation so I waited at the bar. We wanted at the bar for 30 minute completely ignored by every staff member. After interrupting the bar tender, we asked him if he would help us with a couple appetizers and drinks while we waited on our table. He proceeded to tell us that they didnβt serve at the bar (after our neighbors at the bar just got full service). I asked to speak to the manager from two different staff members and both of them told me they didnβt know where he was. They also told me to just go find him. I finally found a manager; he told me that I didnβt know what I was talking about and blamed it all on me. I told him I was the customer and I was expressing my concerns about the way I was treated. He couldnβt care less. This place is managed poorly, and I recommend not wasting your time. There are much better options in South Beach.
I love it everything. The food was amazing and the service was great too. The lady who served us was so nice.
Had dinner there tonight and our waiter name was Nestor C. A bug was in my expensive drink and the waiter said thatβs what u get when u sit outside. We had 6 people dining with us so the tip was included. No customer service. I would not recommend this restaurant. The food was just ok. Plenty of good places to eat!
Best Italian food in Miami. No doubt.
Never a bad meal⦠service impeccable
The experience was great. Food was some of the best Italian I have had in Florida.
We dined on a weekday evening, service was calm and attentive - albeit slightly impersonal. Every dish was delicious and satisfying, We had the Tartufata pizza, the speck with truffle oil really stood out; Grilled octopus, wonderful with the chickpeas; Dolce meatballs - a true winner, totally satisfying; Risotto al frutti di mare, this I didnt care for much as the risotto just wasnt flavorful for me; Fettuccine alla bolognesa, the braised beef made this dish; lastly the Panna cotta, nicely plated in a bed of sliced fruit & the tiramisu, standard in presentation and taste. We enjoyed our meal.
Very good staff & dinner. Got a table almost immediately. Outside and Inside tables are available.
Overpriced basic breakfast food. I think ppl just come here for the vibe & view, but not worth it. $20 for regular pancakes is crazy to me. Definitely donβt recommend this place.
Awesome experience. Highly recommend the lobster ravioli!
Food was outstanding... It was our best meal out this week. Best to make reservations. Located in the Gale hotel across from the National hotel on Collins Ave.
Great service, delicious food and drinks. My girls friends and I had an amazing time and the food and drinks were just amazing!
Top quality restaurant with great customer service. Alessandro was fantastic with his food and wine knowledge, and would recommend asking for him when eating here.
Very Over PricedPaid $200 for $30 worth of food, that wasnt seasoned.Salmon was good though.
Great Service. Great food. Beautiful restruante.
Amos was amazing !!! The service was so good. I would recommend this place to everyone who comes to Miami and ask for Amos who will give u amazing service. Burrata was great ! Lobster ravioli, Bolognese pasta .. it was so delicious and great service
The food is absolutely delicious but the ambiance is terrible. It is loud. Since their tables are basically on the street you hear and smell all the car and motorcycles exhaust.
What an amazing restaurant! In the sea of mediocrity that is the dining experience of South Beach, this restaurant offers delicious Italian food with a class and finesse. The food is quite fresh and delicious. I ordered Caprese salad, which always makes you appreciate the delicate balance between the basil, the tomatoes, and what seemed to be fresh home-made mozzarella. The pasta in the dish I had seemed to be made in-house. It was cooked to perfection and topped off with parmesan cheese. Portion size was just right. The deserts are delicate and decadent, leaving you with feeling of wanting more. I ordered Panna Cotta and it was superb! It was so delicious I wanted to buy another! Instead I tried a piece from my wifes chocolate cake and it also was amazing. The mousse in the cake was light but also rich in milk chocolate flavor and I couldnt figure out which one I wanted more.overall - very few restaurants can rival the level of service and quality in South Beach.
Delicious food, great wait staff, and wonderful atmosphere. We started with the Fritto Misto for appetizer ($17). We ordered two entrees - Tartufata pizza ($19) and Ravioli Burro E Salvia ($21). The service was incredible - the wait staff were attentive and very friendly. I would definitely this restaurant. It is a bit pricey but the food is worth the price.
Great food. Wait staff had bad attitudes! Poor service.
Great food, drinks. Ambiance. One block from beach.
Great views of Collins Avenue and very nice selections. Also, connected to a hotel.
Great food and service. Just an observation the menu could have a bit more of options.
Come for the hotel & pool, stay for the drinks! Albert was the best bartender!
Food was excellent. Staff was great as well.
We waited in the bar, that became crowded with unmasked people in our face. Bartender by himself was over worked and unhappy. Our 4 top reservation table was given to a single guy that the desk said had been waiting, So late to our table, rude person seating us. Food and atmosphere were okay, but I would never go back. They under value reservations and customers. Imo
Delicious food!Bad! I forgot my sunglasses and they stole from me.They didnβt answer my calls and My messages.
The spicy raspberry Collins was incredible. Probably the best drink I have had in a while. The meatball appetizer was served with a perfect polenta that was I not expecting to be as delicious as it was. The pappardelle was also good. Service and preparation were excellent. I am looking forward to going back next time I am in town.
The food was disgusting I was very disappointed coming from Dallas and this not a real Italian restaurant
Such good food and Service I was very impressed this is easily the top 10 restaurants Iβve ever been to
The pasta here is outstanding! Only downside is this restaurant is LOUD!
Dolce is a wonderful restaurant. Friendly service and excellent food. The pasta is freshly made. Even something as simple as spaghetti is exceptional. Our waiter was entertaining as well as efficient. All 6 of us enjoyed our dishes and several of us considered it the best meal we had during our 5 day stay in Miami.
Great Service, Delicious Food and Friendly Staff! 5/5 would recommend to friends and family.
Nice food nice service.
