Love this place it has anything and everything and then some here. If you wanted youll probably could do your Christmas shopping here when I say everything theyve got everything.

This place has a comprehensive inventory, in addition to friendly, knowledgeable staff. I’m new to the Beach and SBHC will certainly be my go-to hardware shop.

The greatest hardware store ever. Way better then hume depot. They always have everything i need at a great price. The staff are all really helpful and knowledgable. But the music, wow old School classics that last time i was there made me cry.the music really takes you back to a different age. The whole atmosphere takes me back to way more humble times. This place trully has a family feel of hardware stores of times past. Im glad i found this gem. It comes in so handy when you need a screw or a hammer, you dont have to travel far. I go here all of the time. It’s a friendly neighborhood hardware store that is fully stocked. If you’re unsure of exactly what you need for a project, ask a support specialist and they’ll help you select the right product. The staff is very knowledgeable.

Very bad service, female manager (Veronica) racially profiled me and did not want to help me change the color of my paint that I bought there claiming that it wouldn’t be possible. She said I would have to buy new paint in order to get the color I wanted. I walked down to Benjamin Moore few block down and they were able to do the exact same thing the manager at this location said it was impossible. VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOURE AFRICAN AMERICAN

Great costumer service, and vast selections of products. If they dont have it in stock, they offer a timely order if you dont want to plan on staying home and wait on package.

I really liked this place at first, guys in the islands were very helpful. But then I bought one of the items by mistake not the right size and brought it back in a few days with receipt and security plastic on. The girl at the register said that she can not accept it because IT WAS PURCHASED A FEW DAYS AGO! I am sorry I don’t have time to run to your store all day long! Don’t we as customers have the right return any item within a certain amount of time???? VIOLATION

If my review was just based on the service you receive on the floor I would give them five stars for sure. The floor staff are always so helpful. There are a couple down sides to the store.... The prices are high (I guess that’s what you get for convenience) and the cashiers aren’t usually friendly. It seems as if the cashiers are just there to do their job and go home which is fair to say but it’s not an inviting environment. This store does usually have pretty much anything you need which is incredible that they can pack it all into such a small space.

Extremely helpful and kind staff! They have a great selection as well. Because of the small space and narrow aisles, its impossible to social distance in the store. However, all staff and customers were wearing masks.

THIS!!! So, everyones got an ACE hardware somewhere in their neighborhood, but not like this. While this is a smaller store, there isnt anything they dont have. Ive literally gone in there for a light bulb that I couldnt find anyplace and they were like, Go see so and so on this aisle. Theyll be waiting for you. And they are. And they have what you want. And theyre smart and can help you work out what youll need to do the job. Theyre friendly, helpful, knowledgeable AND polite which is a rarity in Miami. Go check them out and grab some Jelly Belly jelly beans when you check out.

Love this place, and thank god i do because its about the only hardware store in Miami Beach. Or at least this side of Miami Beach. The prices are a little higher than the big box stores but youll find that in smaller businesses. And the convenience of being right here in Miami Beach makes up for the prices.. the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and plentiful. They go out of their way to help you and thats nice.

Sets the appointment and shows up as promised. Knowledgable and able to do the installation and sell you the pole, amplifier and antenna. The clarity without cable is fantastic. Good service.

This little box of misery gets 2 stars only because it’s geographically well-located - otherwise I would give it only 1. I’ve lived in South Beach for 4 years now, and I’m a handy guy so I have to pop in here occasionally. I have never once been helped without having to track someone down and ask for it or press a button for assistance. The staff always treats me like they are doing me a favor by even speaking to me. They are always taking to each other while ringing me up, as if I’m an inconvenience of their job. Of course their prices are astronomical, but I figure that’s because their rent is so high. But they could easily justify the extreme prices with some friendly service. I can confidently say this is the worst hardware store I’ve ever experienced. Spare yourself the rage, and go to American Plumbing and Hardware just a block away on Alton.

Everyone in the store is SO nice and helpful EXCEPT for one EXTREMELY nasty woman who was a cashier. I didnt realize I needed a code for an item so she scolded me, pushed my things aside, demanded that I wear my mask the exact way she wanted me to and ordered me to stand on a dot in a very busy aisle way to the exit instead of the quite aisle I was already standing in. Her beahvior was totally out of line and, THANKFULLY, not representative of every other employee in the store. Hopefully she will find happiness some day soon.

Love this place. Its a well appointed hardware store for such a tiny space. Plus, they have extras like soap, detergent, toiletries, etc. They are priced like the rest of South Beach. But, thats just to be expected. The staff more than make up for it with their hospitality and knowledge. Super friendly, everyone is bilingual, Spanish/English.Highly recommend if you dont have the time or patience to make the trek all the way to Home Depot.

Like the crew they have working there although at the difficult even very difficult at time to get help from someone. But that do to the many folks that go there for there hardware needs and the staff is full just timing i guess but everyone here is not only helpful but friendly as well.

Brought a screen door to replace screen Oct 1rst and what is a 10 minute job is still not complete after 6 days.they take the door to other location to do the work.I call the location where they do that work,and the other store tells me its been ready, but he doesnt know why my door hasnt been picked up.ive lived on miami beach for 54 years,but I will go to home depot from now on to buy and have work done.I think its time for this store to move on or maybe be replaced.

If you need a tool - Theyve got it with several variations of price and quality. Overall, it is a bit pricey although it does carry the popularly priced Ace Hardware line which is quite extensive.Pretty much the only game in town if you live in South Beach. Excellent selection with a good range of merchandise. Plenty of store personnel to assist shoppers. I drove some poor guy nuts trying to buy two screws, washers and nuts. He never complained.The entirety of store personnel speak more than passable English; something that is not always true in Miami metro.Registers can be a bit slow. What drives me nuts about this place is that not all merchandise is price-marked. You have to ask.

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Feels like an old fashioned small town hardware store. Only a couple of things bothered me as a consumer: home goods/ accessories are ridiculously overpriced (made in China stuff much cheaper online and in Dollar stores...even Marshalls) and large areas very unorganized...a mess...stuff misplaced or without prices...looks like a troop of toddlers went in and had a field day. I understand that lots of customers are inconsiderate morons that make a mess, but Ive been to this store several times and its ALWAYS like this. The place is super cramped already with huge columns in the middle of the aisles (not their fault). Anyway, I recommend this place but be prepared for these conditions.

I am a local who has shopped here for over 15 years but will not ever again!! I attempted to return an unopened purchase and they refused to accept it or give store credit. I DO NOT recommend shopping here. No Customer Service!

A credit to old time hardware stores across America. I love this place! Im a tradesman and more than occasionally need the odd, the rare, the impossible to find that stops small jobs dead in their tracks. These guys always come through with overstuffed shelves of inventory and dont rip me off pricewise. A contractors real hidden asset. Street parking.

Real Hardware Store if you want it to be, with glass and screen service, good paint department, every kind of but and bolt. And if you want plenty of designer ish Kitchen/interior design goods. Friendly knowledgeable service.

I called and asked for the paint dept. Cashier who picked up told me I need to speak Spanish because the people in the paint dept dont know English. I asked her nicely to just transfer me over and I would try my best and her response was That in this part of town you should speak Spanish and that its very rude to just speak English. Is this how our cashiers talk to customers trying to purchase paint? I spoke with the store manager and she was very nice. Cashiers are the face of your store and the way shes picking up the phones and speaking to customers like that, I could not give my hard earned money to a store who employees someone with that type of attitude.

Very small place but full of practically every need!! In such small apartments in the beach, needed to redo the closets with extra rods. They have these heavy duty metal ones that adjust to whatever length you need and fairly easy to install. The staff is more helpful and competent than at any of the large competitors!! You can be in and out of this place super quick with their assistance and not walk a mile in a giant store!! Not kidding, I literally spend no more than 15 to 30 mins here and get more accomplished than at say a home depot, spending an hour inside.. Plus, when living in the beach, crossing the bridge into the city is not appealing at all and a complete time suck on all levels.. This store simplifies life!! Oh and yes they make keys too!!

Ive been going here for a few years and have never had an experience that was bad or anywhere near what some people claim in reviews here. All the staff are very helpful and great at asking if they can help you find anything if you look confused or lost.They dont have an enormous selection of things given the relatively small area of the store, but they sure do pack it in.This is a great place to find any type of household item. The odds and ends in the hardware is where they are lacking, but all the main stuff is there.

When I entered the store they made me feel like a thief, not a customer, nobody offered me help and when I looked for things they thought that my intention was to steal and I was being watched by one employee after another. Unpleasant they made me feel discriminated because people with office clothes treated them better than a construction worker.

Small store, Big Inventory! Wow, how do they pack so much stuff in such a small footprint? Much friendlier and knowledgeable staff than Lowes, Home Depot, or Menards. Yes youll pay a little more but not having to drive into Miami is priceless!
