No concept of customer service. Must be a miserable work environment considering everyone there seems to always have a stick stuck in their pants. Short rude replies. You’d think they would care to keep customers that USED to bring them considerable amounts of business. That stopped today. Never again. I guess they feel they will be fine with all the hvac techs business that they don’t need you. Not a very ambitious owner. I’ll drive to West palm Beach before I ever step in this place again

Amazing place right on Miami Beach! The front staff went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed for my project. The men at the counter were knowledgable. Yes, there was a short wait, only because the service is personalized. Thank you!

Hit then miss. Every other time I visit this store I get really good service and some helpful and some knowledgeable. Never mind expecting what you need. Product, helpful and knowledgeable service... Its not going to happen. I go every time with the understanding that this Store is almost invaluable in not leaving the beach.

You guys could just do a little bit better. I just wanted to pay for my order and the older gentleman took my credit card and walked away out of sight for a good 10 minutes. I told the other cashier about it and thats out fraud happens. and he rolled his eyes and scoffed about it. I finally saw the guy with my credit card and he was just standing leaning against the wall talking to one of the owners or bosses. Any guy with a legal business in Miami could tell you theyve been hit by fraud numerous times. Dont do that. And secondly dont make me feel foolish for trying to be careful.

No words for these arrogant, miserable and dumb bunch off losers. Never heard of customer service, nor do they know anything about what they are doing . Dont go there .... no wonder those big markets like Homedepot are gaining more power, because of those passionless and rude guys that work there. I hope somebody is gonna buy them out and put a nice Nothing in there because that is more then what it is right now .

Theyll rip you off hard if you dont know what youre doing. They prefer to only sell supplies to plumbers and electricians. Anyone else they will take advantage of as much as they can. I talked the sales clerk down from $150 to $75. Thats standard business for this company.

I own my property and I am the President of my Condo Board Association.A few weeks ago (in Aug) the handyman for my building had a health issue and is no longer able to work. I’ve been looking and interviewing handymen but in the meantime, I tried to finish a few simple tasks myself. One of them was to purchase 2 sewage covers for the garage.I took pictures and measurements of the part I needed and went to American Plumbing store located on 17th and Alton Rd.When I arrived, there were 5 customers (all male) and I stood aside waiting for my turn.A few minutes later, one of the attendants ask who was next. I looked at the 5 customers as there were already looking at me and since nobody said anything, I responded “I guess it’s me” and they nodded as yes.As I started to explain what I needed and showing the pictures, another attendant came to look at them. The 2nd attendant told me he needed to know the brand. I said I had no idea. He complimented my pictures and measurement and told the 1st attendant to go to the back and bring what they had to compare with the pictures.At this time, an older man with an authority figure came into the conversation and told the attendants “forget about her, go take care of somebody else”. Both attendants “disappeared” pretty fast, so I assumed he was either the manager or the owner. (please notice that everybody else in the store were already been taking care of).As I am in chock I just responded “excuse me?” and he said “we don’t have what you need. Leave my store”. I said “the attendant told the other one to bring me what you have”. He responded “you don’t belong in my store. Leave!”. I just stand there, memorized and almost dizzy. At this point he yells “leave my store and don’t ever come back!” pointing to the door.I ran out shaking.Also I would like to add that I found a handyman (in Sept) and a few days ago he purchased the sewage covers from that same store...

Bahahaha this place is a joke. They really are a miami store. Rude and really dont care. I come in with a query and the ask me, and i quote, why does the owner of the apartment have the sockets like that? Lol um i thought you were professionals but CLEARLY i came to the wrong place. I mean they cut me short and started talking to another person who had just walked up. I would have hated to have given birth to ppl like that and had willingly opened my legs in order for them to exist on this planet. Id have shut my legs mid- birth, but thats just me😘

Horrible customer service. I asked how many gallons per minute the pump i was trying to buy pumped and the representative told me he wasn’t going upstairs to check on that. Absolutely unacceptable will not be returning to this place ever agin.

This is not a plumbing supply shop, or a bunch of guys doing roto rooterThis is an amazing supply house if they dont have it good luck, from oven mitts to caulking, lamps, leds, the list in enormous, more then Home Depot, Lowes, or Wilmar, not for the lay person, more for the building and property management professional, been using now for almost a decade

Crooks. They include on their pick ticket thats attached to your credit card slip that theres a 25% re-stocking fee for any returns. I returned an un-opened bubble wrapped item 45 minutes after buying and they then pointed out the fee.Do not support this policy! Do not shop here. Sleazy people, ancient dumpy facility, poor customer service.

I went there for some fuse wire, the Sales Prevention Officer, grunted, whats it for ? a fuse I replied,he retorted, its for a boat isnt it ? ( I was in my crew gear ) I confirmed that it was...... we dont sell marine fuse wire .... not a problem, I insited, just give me what you have. No cant sell you that and walked off.I waited five minutes and then somebody told me to leave.What a beautiful shopping experience.......NOT !!!!!

Unbelievable and rude. I called for a part, they said they had it. Of course they didnt. The instant I mentioned that I called yesterday they stopped talking to me and started YELLING to get out of the store and then something about scratching my balls.Never go there.

The place is a rip off charged me $6.90 for a t8 4ft light bulb that I pay $2.00 at all other supply houses will never go back there counter guy was useless didnt know what he was doing and service very slow I guess they dont like repeat business by the way I will never order your light fixtures from any other supply houses
