Loved this place!!! The ice cream was absolutely delicious. They let us try many flavor before deciding our pick. The staff is very nice and gave us a great service. The decoration was very nice with lots of colors, a mix with Japanese culture. The ice creams were crazy! So many flavors and presentations. Is a mist try if you go for ice cream on South Beach.
This place is located by the beach. It a nice place to get milkshake, a ice cream and chill. Located in a restaurant on miami beach. You do need to find parking because you will have to walk. It fast service and friendly. There was a whole candy bar in the milkshake for the price of 15.99. The mango shake is good and refreshing for that Miami sun if you dont want something so sweet. But it a great place to stop by.
Fabulous experience here. The shakes were huge and delicious and the customer service was great. We had great conversation with the girl working.
Awesome sweets and staff. We ordered a small-cup single-scoop bithday-cake ice cream for my daughter who turned two years old.We also ordered two shakes. My son got the Oreo+Twix, while my wife and I shared a Dulce de Leche. Everything tasted great.A little pricey but what isnt in Miami Beach. Wish we had one of these in Houston, TX.
Fun flavors aside (yes the ice cream is actually good), the cotton candy cone combos are absurd & surreal, obviously made for the gram but even if you dont care about that, trying to figure out how to eat the thing is an experience easily worth the $11. Embrace the mess, there is no way around it
Being an I.C. Addict i was pleasantly surprised. When I saw 15$ milkshakes I was Floored but when I saw a full candy bar in whip cream on top. I was curious. As the people seemed to keep coming. I had a scoop of mint Oreo cookie and was so glad i did.
The birthday cake ice cream was probably the best ice cream Ive had in my life.
We loved the ice cream here, the lavender ice cream was my personal favorite. The girls working here and the owner were very friendly, they made sure we left happy. These cotton candy ice cream cones were almost as big as my boys, but they ate every last bit and LOVED it! Thank you for making my 6 yr olds birthday memorable!
Their crazy milkshakes seemed a bit too intense for me, but they were able to use the coffee soft serve to make a coffee milkshake! Still came with extra chocolate syrup and whipped cream as a bonus surprise. Super tasty! Definitely on the pricier side, but worth the splurge if you really need to cool down.
The place is good but not great, yes you can get pretty unique shakes and crazy ice cream with cotton candy. The presentation is great, the place has nice decorations and atmosphere, small though. But, yes there is one. This is an ice cream shop, and ice cream is not amazing, it was not the tastiest ice cream I have ever had, the mango smoothie did not taste 100% natural mango, even more considering how it is priced. You should definitely give it a try, and make your own opinion.
Was a wonderful milkshake. But my problem is with Ocean Drive. My grandma and I came just to try Icy N Spicy. It was very stressful and hard finding parking. And then once we finally found parking in a garage, that was 6 blocks away. We walked 6 blocks, and when we reached Icy n Spicy. We had to walk through a restaurant, and some man had a fit and threw his utensils on the ground, his fork hit my leg. Didn’t even know I was bleeding for a little bit. Please, icy n spicy, you should look into a different location. One that is more accessible, and possibly in a safer area.
Mediocre ice cream at a jaw dropping price point. Better options nearby
Staff is kind. And its worth it to just walk in and look at the decor and get something small. And i dont feel too gyped price wise for the products. Plus this is miami. Just know if you get cotton candy and ice cream cone, it melts SUPER FAST!
This was such a good experience, the building itself was like something Ive never seen. Highly recommend 👌
I went here with my family in South Beach it was amazing!! I got the burrito which was awesome. I was visiting for the weekend, this is a must have!!! They have great choices of flavors and toppings! The staff was very friendly and kind and made sure we left happy! This is a great place for families and kids!!
I dont mind overpriced ice cream $6.21 for a single scoop for my son. But when the owner Mrs. Liu is rude and petty you get a 1 * rating, only my second time ever. Asked for a cup of ice water with my ice cream they said they only have bottled. Then I asked for a cup of ice, she stated Im not an ice vendor. It was 85 degrees outside. Everyone in south beach has been very classy with 1 exception, her. They also charge $20 for a sundae. Her assistant was friendly, but the owner should stay in the back room/not dealing with the public.
Good ice cream. We had the cookie monster and coconut.
The ice cream was uniquely chillin and the desserts actually looked like the pictures on the menu. Enjoy every dessert I tried from mochi to the lavender ice cream to the cotton candy.
Delicious ice cream, and the waffle cone was perfectly crispy but I almost lost it all when I was eating it and the two scoops of deliciousness rolled down my wife’s chest not the stickiness I was after
First time here. They have a pretty nice menu of pimped out ice cream creations. Of course I had to try out the 24 K Madagascar vanilla. It costs $35. When I paid the lady skipped the tip part lol, she said its ok. I guess it hasnt been ordered for some time. Also if you check in Yelp you get 5% your order offer. The place is small just two tables and 4 chairs, then theres a counter with 5 chairs. The ice cream was really creamy, but it did lack the taste of vanilla.Fun place to come with the kids to.
My daughter loves this place, the ice cream is really delicious. The milkshakes are amazing.
Icy-N-Spicy is an ice cream shop in the heart of Miami beach, a favorite place to refresh on hot and sunny day spent on the beach. As you step your foot into the shop, you are welcomed by the magnificent setting, a beautiful combination of balloons laying on ceiling and an immerse view on Ocean Drive. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious and mouth-watering ice creams, followed with a large variety of toppings. We had Coconut Almond Cake, Mint Chip and Banana Dulche de Leche.Service was excellent. If there is a way to give 6 stars, this place would definitely get more than 5. These guys definitely care about their customers and do everything to put a smile on their face.
When in South Beach you have to stop in here for the best ice cream you probably have had! The owner and his wife were extremely friendly and makes you feel like family. I got the Madagascar ice cream with added 24k gold flakes. To say this was amazing is an understatement this ice cream was the most smoothest I have ever eaten. Splurge and get it and see for yourself why Icy-N-Spicy is the #1 ice cream shop in SOBE!!
It is the best place I have ever been too they have amazing service and even the best ice cream and cotton candy ever please go try it out I love itttttt
Omg where do I start? They have homemade ice cream and their flavors are so hard to choose from. So they let us sample tastes and that made our choice even harder because they were all so delicious. The cookie monster flavor is the best chocolate chip cookie dough flavored ice cream I have ever had. Their chocolate ice cream taste like a soft decadent moist brownie. So I did one scoop of each and I practically inhaled it. My daughter got the lavender which has such an exotic taste. We also bought 3 kinds of mochi to take home the taro, black sesame, and the milk candy were sooooo rich in flavor. We also bought cotton candy, and we chose the pina Coloda flavor and it made our eyes roll. The best is the staff was great!!! They answered every question and treated us as if we were a priority. We will definitely be going back. Oh and everything we bought (2 boxes of pocky too) came out to $53.00 so the prices are very fair. And the quality is top notch. I seriously cant wait to go back and get their other flavors!!!!
My favorite place to buy candies but hates this place for making me fat hahah
I LOVE this quaint ice cream shop! Located within a lobby of a hotel on Ocean Dr on South Beach, I can’t stop thinking this is the perfect place for locals to stop in at on a sizzling day when you’re taking your friends around from out of town. What makes this ice cream shop really special is the quality of everything they have and their particular attention to creating fresh vibrant flavors unique to other shops! This was completely apparent to me when I tried their madagascar vanilla icecream and their thai basil mochi! Both stood out to me and I still think of about their Thai Basil Mochi (some of the best mochi I’ve had in the States) in which I’ve never found anything similar anywhere else! That being said they also have chocolate dipped bananas that should not be skipped since they are delicious. You can customize your frozen treat anyway you like and add on things such as gold leaf which is definitely Instagram worthy. Will keep coming back here and highly recommend it to anyway that finds themself in the area!
I visited this sweet shop while visiting Miami and it was super good, the staff was very nice and the whole place was very inviting and fun looking. We had a nice visit and loved all of it!
A great experience. Had the shrimp tacos and the 32 oz Oreo mudslides. Would definitely come back.
These shakes are soooooo good but they are super super sweet, unless you have a mega sweet tooth I sudgest sharing one if there are multiples of you like there were us. We wasted so much ice cream.
This place was an amazingly great surprise. First of all, the look and feel is just adorable. The owners were incredibly friendly and you can really tell how much they care about the product they put out. Although I didnt have it, they serve an ice cream cone surrounded by cotton candy, words cant properly explain how cool this looks and how much the people that had it were loving it. I had the mango, and my wife the cotton candy with a mix of lavender Ice cream, it was so delicious. I highly recommend everyone stopping by the Carlyle hotel and giving this unique Ice cream shop a try, you will not be disappointed!
I went for the gold flake ice but seen the price almost $40 got discouraged, already was spending 35 for 2 ice cream(kids). Wish they had samplers I real wanted to try it. The place is clean and they have a great staff.
Tasty shakes with great presentation. Everyone looked impressed as I walked down the strip with my fancy shake.
Cute place but is a lot smaller than expected. Also ocean drive is so dirty and crowded. Wouldnt recommend going in there at night with kids
The ice cream is a bit overpriced for it being average. It honestly wasnt even very creamy. They also forgot to make my husbands order, so we waited 20 minutes, only to be told they werent tracking it. I asked for a refund, and even that took some time seeing that they had to call the owner to get the OK for a cash refund.
I love this place, small, cozy ice cream store. In here ice cream is delicious and tasty! But my favorite one is lavender. I loved it. Thanks!
I had the Oreo Milkshake and my husband had the red velvet milkshake..these milkshakes were pure bliss. Definitely put a smile on our faces after walking on Ocean Dr.
Fabulously expensive treats. Unable to sample ice cream flavors.
Very pricey but really an eye catch, nice cool down spot
Everyone was really nice and the milkshakes are great
Wonderful experience there. From the friendly staff to the amazing shakes we had. Would definitely recommend.
We had the dulche de leche shake.. omg the whole thing was incredibly delicious. Worth the 16.00!!
Only good for pic the ice cream is avarage.
Be ready to get your hands dirty. It is a one-time sweet experience, but eating it was the hardest, messiest part.
Loved it the strawberry cheese milkshake it was absolutely worth the walk to the place.
Great milk shakes. Cotton candy was just okay...but an overall fun atmosphere.
Lavender was the best flavor! I got one scoop on a cone with cotton candy around it. The ice cream was my favorite part :) but they did not have the cotton candy + ice cream burrito or pizza as advertised
I went to icy-n-spicy yesterday at it was pretty amazing. the food was so good and the people were so nice. the only thing i would reccomend would be to add menus so people can see all that you guys have and make it easier for people to choose what they want
The Oreo milkshake is pretty good, a lot of different candy choices, the ambiance is cool with the balloons in the ceiling, wish it was in a different more open location it’s inside the hotel but overall good experience. Be patient it’s covid 19 so it may be a line.
Great spot for a quick treat on ocean drive. Our kids love it!
WOW, if I could live here I would. Presentation is beautiful, variety of flavours were exceptional! Dulce de Leche, hands down!
Good people working and icecream is good.
I ran got here 5 mins Before closing pay for parking and ran . They didn’t wanted to serve me.
Best Ice-cream I have ever tried!!!
Soft serve was perfect. Nutella shake was amazing.
I got the oreo n’ cream ice cream. The flavor was disappointing. I’ve certainly had better, but this will definitely take care of the sweet tooth.
Overpriced and place not as nice as it appears online
Love the macarons
Delicious ice cream on the go.
Amazing ice cream 🍨Friendly staffGood service
Owner’s husband - the gentlemen making the milkshakes was not wearing a mask. (Side note, the shop was letting people in wiring masks). We ordered 6 things, two of which were milkshakes. I asked the owner to request the gentlemen’s making our milkshakes put on a mask. He responded he’s not near anyone so a mask isn’t needed. We did not want the milkshakes, he threw them out, came out and wouldn’t stop staring at me (he came back 3 times to do this) told his wife to refund our money. (Rather than apologize and put a mask on). These people certainly don’t care about the pandemic and their customers well being.Avoid. Places like don’t last and in a pandemic, they really should be cautious (and thankful they have customers to serve).UPDATE: (responding to owner). Your comments are full of lies. Please do save that video because i will be filing a complaint. Your husband’s face was not covered. The people that entered the store before us, entered without their faces covered (which is why we stayed outside the store until they left). Our change to the order was because of what I said above - we did not want to consume milkshakes your husband made without his face covered.
Tasty Ice cream and very cute milk shakes
My boyfriend and I stopped in here on our trip to Miami. They had these colorful balloons in the window that caught our eye. Such a cute little shop! The owners were so friendly and ice cream tasted very fresh. I love supporting small businesses and this is one that is definitely worth it.
Good ice cream by the beach!
The flavors we were able to try and purchase were great! The ice cream taste different than normal ice cream. We had the butter pecan. It was light and tasted better than your everyday ice cream from the store. A must stop when nearby.
Great ice cream and cotton candy.
Amazing homemade ice cream. The owner shared with us his passion for this dessert and it shows. We ate ice cream here several times during our stay and loved that the flavors changed as they created more perfections. Great job with this store!
Great customer service amazing product
Great ice cream, unique flavors.
Had the Madagascar gold and it was amazing. Perfectly balanced flavors; not too sweet, high quality texture (actual vanilla beans), and an awesome presentation. Also tried the spicy chocolate totally worth the experience.Dan runs a great shop! Please check him out!
Best store in Miami!!!!! I wish i could give more stars 😎
