The draw of Insomnia Cookies is definitely the fact that its open until 5am and delivers until 3am. Not the best cookies Ive ever had in my life, nor the best ice cream, but still good on both counts. Very reasonably priced, and I would highly recommend their cookiewich or traditional a la mode. Its a hole in the wall with almost no seating, but this is something you can eat while walking. If Im ever in the mood for cookies and ice cream late at night on South Beach again, Ill come back.

Omg, believe the hype! The cookies are so fresh and delicious. The service was fast even though there was a line. You can try 2 different cookies with a scoop of glorious ice cream sandwiched in between. Cookies are warm and there are many different milk choices - including strawberry. Take home an extra cookie for later!

I had a craving for something sweet late one night in Miami on vacation with my wife and looked up Insomnia Cookies. Gigantic cookie and ice cream sandwiches sounded amazing since we dont have anything like that at home in NJ and it was worth trying. Ice cream melted pretty fast so Id suggest eating it with a spoon(which they supply you with) as opposed to picking it up like a sandwich. Less messy but still delicious. If its late and youre on Ocean in South Beach and want a fix for your sweet tooth, Insomnia Cookies it is!

The cookies were not bad, though when I went there with my girl, we were both wearing masks. While paying for our cookies, the guy at the register just starts talking about how we shouldnt be wearing our masks and that its not healthy for us. Neither are cookies, but Im still here.Just sell me a cookie and leave it at that, Im not coming into your shop to hear why you dont think we should wear masks.

Cookies 🍪🍪 ate served warm, therefore they are soft, but tasted delicious. I normally dont like soft cookies unless they are fresh from the oven. These are tasty while warm as well as cool. We got some for the road 🍪😋.

Maybe the best chocolate chip cookie you will ever have. Totally worth the calories. I took home a 6 pack assorted and they all look and smell amazing. Soft and gooey, and the smell is ridiculous when you step into their little store.

DONT ORDER HERE. the attendant was nice and tried his best but Cookies were not ready for 2 plus hours. I even waited 1 hour extra outside store. When I got them, the order was completely wrong. Too bad because I used to like this place and order cookies for my friends. Not anymore as the management didnt even call me to apologize. We went twice in 3 days. The cookies are great, but the ice cream was “too hard” so they couldn’t serve it. The first time we went In, the girl working there clearly hated life and gave only perfunctory answers saying the “ice cream machine is broken” when ice cream was sitting in front of us. They locked the doors right after left at 8:30, leaving a group of 5 outside with no word as to why it was being locked (not closed... just they can’t go in). I went back for more cookies and hoping for the ice cream to be back, and was told that wouldnt work, and they didn’t have any dipper frosting vat, waiting for a delivery Friday. It’s Tuesday... so.. 3 stars for the good cookies. 1 star for overall store management failing to either train or stock effectively.

Let me just say Matt who works at Insomnia Cookies is the best! He turned around my whole order and put my smile on my face. I placed an order on Tuesday later in the evening. It was one of those cravings and I’ve been laying off of the sugar. Anyhow, Grubhub, in which they always do this, allows me to order things that just were not available due to the ice cream machine being down. Matt made some suggestions as I was pretty much ready to cancel and wrote me a note and it’s like this is what I was ordering to begin with! Thank you sooooo much Matt! Your the best!!

We went to this cookie joint late at night or early morning. They have the cookies in our warming oven so the cookies are served hot not too much selections at 2 a.m. in the morning but overall when you go to a cookie joint you tried the traditional chocolate chip and it was pretty good soft and chewy and warm

This place rocks for those with a sweet tooth. Nicely located a block over from Ocean drive...so its not too crowded buy close enough to all the touristy spots...and you can sit in or take it to go. Must try!

Clean and small place.Staff are nice, quick, and polite.The food was really good. I ordered a Cookiewich with Snickerdoodle cookies and “Happy birthday” ice cream. The total was $6 which is a fair price because I got a really big scoop of ice cream.It is a great place to go to a really late night (we were there at like almost midnight), but it was still open and quick and good.I recommend this place if you want something sweet after a good meal to finish it up.

Im on vacation and I was told to try insomnia cookies. Many people have said how great they are. I ordered at 7:39pm and was told it be delivered at 8:05-8:15, didnt happen. At around 8:20 the grubhub app updates say it will arrive soon. Might I add that my hotel was only a mile from the establishment. Around 8:31, I call and was told that Steven has your order and should be there shortly, great, but Steven never showed. At 8:44, I call back and was told that my order was assigned a driver at 8:40, and it should be there shortly. At 9:03, I called back and they couldnt find my order, but eventually did and I was told that they were waiting for the rain to stop to deliver my order cause it was raining really bad, noted i was sitting outside watching the mist of rain fall. After this long back and forth and being charged and leaving a tip, I never received my order. My kids are going to bed now after waiting over two hours for a simple sweet snack. Highly disappointedUpdate: Just received my cookies at 10:03 pm. The company sent me a coupon for six free cookies but it is with an additional purchase. Still disappointed

I wish I can give this place 0 stars the customer service is horrible. The employee Steven told me that He is unable to take my order in person, but I can place an order over the phone with customer service(he lied), once I called the customer service line (keep in mind she placed me on hold for 10-15 min) she stated that I could not order because they were closed. I was literally standing right outside the locked door. I went to knock on the door while on the phone with customer service and they wouldn’t answer the door. Then a gentlemen walked up to the door and tried to speak to me from inside with the door closed like I was a criminal or something. I do not understand why you guys are making it so hard for customers to order during coronavirus. You need money from local people like me to support your business in hard times yet you treat customers very bad. If Steven would have told me that I am unable to order I would have just went home, but yet he lied to my face and wasted 40 min. Of my time.Very bad service i don’t appreciate the way I was treated.

Terrible experience i went in after 10 on December 16 2020 at 12:02‘ which means you have to do the uber delivery. The lady ERIKA came outside and said they are only doing uber delivery so i ordered delivery to my car. I told the uber driver where i was and he had no problem until he got there to get my order and ERIKA Took the order out of his hand walked up to my car and yelled at me saying NEXT TIME YOU DO THAT IM NOT GIVING IT TO YOU AND I SAID BACK I PAID FOR IT and i took it and the uber driver was very confused. She was very rude and unprofessional. Someone needs to do something about her.

No Curbside.I ordered curbside pick up through the Insomnia Cookies website. Curbside pick up was supposed to be for 5:30pm. When I arrived I called the store to bring out my order. I was kept on hold for a while so I called back and asked for a representative. They placed me on hold and called the store multiple times with no answer. The representative told me to park and go inside the very crowded store from what I can see from my car. I asked her to try to get in contact with them as I was sitting in a no park zone because there were no parking spaces available near the store and I did not want to go into a crowded store where people were standing outside of. The representative told me that unfortunately is was my only option. The store is in the middle of South Beach! I had to find and pay for parking a block away as to avoid getting a ticket! Very inconvenient! Do not offer Curbside service if you cant provide it!

They deliver fresh baked hot cookies in many different varieties of flavors! Only thing is Im on keto now, so well have to see if they can invent a grain free, sugar free, alternative, using organic stevia or monk fruit to sweeten up? That would be amazing! This will be a highly occasional splurge until then.

Two workers is not enough for a crowd

It was okay. I was on South Beach and Googled dessert places and this place was down the street. Nothing really spectacular or fancy about it. Its an order and go place.I ordered a cookie sandwich, which was ice cream between two cookies. Could have made it at home, but hey it satisfied my palette at the time.Staff was nice and its a small business, so I suggest you give it a try and support.

Had a late night craving and these cookies definitely satisfied it. Cookies were nice and warm with the chocolate chips melted inside just right. My order was missing a cookie, but they were sure to bring me a cookie in a timely manner, and even added an ice cream treat to it. Love it! Would definitely order again.

The website said the store was open until 1am so we tried to go in at 9:55. The staff was extremely rude and told us the store was closed, apparently they close at 10. She told us we could order cookies and have them delivered but refused to serve us.

These are the best cookies. They used to sell a lemon cookie but it is only seasonal. Mann that thing is worth my ride from Dania Beach to Miami Beach every time. Right now I am stuck on the peanut butter cookies. My boyfriend loves the chocolate chip cookies. Worth the price and worth the ride

For those who like warm soft cookies and ice cream (who doesn’t?). Small shop with a larger cookie selection than the ice cream. It’s good, but nothing stellar, unfortunately. They need more ice cream flavours. Price point is a bit high but that’s the going rate in south beach, I guess.
