Very super awesome. Got right in to see the doctor. Great deal on glasses. My wife is blind without her glasses. There trying to do them right away. We thank you, you rock 4 Eyes.

Two stars because the doctor is nice. The rest of them not so nice. I know it’s post pandemic but they need to get organized or maybe stop closing during the afternoon for lunch, open before 11 am and it might not be so hectic. I spent a lot of money on new glasses and no one could find the time to fit them on my face. I was told they were too busy with 2 other people in the place. A mess, unfortunately I already gave them my hard earned money. That won’t happen again.

We meet these couple in the airport at Newark through my son. When you greeted each other we saw that we were wearing the same glasses!For real! When do you get a chance to have the same eyewear. I am so elated to find someone wearing the same. I went to Foreyes and I love the glasses I purchased and Im happy someone else was as happy as I was.Thanks to Tom Ford and For Eyes. Love them🥰

A temple on my distance glasses broke. I’d had good experiences getting eyeglass repairs here before, so I went over as soon as it happened. I saw that the door was locked and it was past the current closing hour of 5 pm, but I held up the glasses and the only employee still there opened the door. When I told her the problem, she motioned me to come in, and proceeded to work on the glasses. At the end, she showed me that my glasses were good as new. I took out my wallet to pay her, and she said oh, no, there’ll be no charge. So, after closing up for the day, she stayed overtime and charged me nothing. That’s the mark of a classy establishment, and next time my husband or I need glasses, we’ll definitely be going to For Eyes/Miami Beach!

Good service, polite staff even through the changes of personnel over the years. Conveniently located for me and free parking which is pretty scarce in South Beach. Cool ! :)

They booked the appointment they take my insurance but they want me to pay you for eye exam and my insurance pay for and then going to try to tell me my insurance is a health insurance I have health dental and vision on one card your bunch of liars

THE BEST EVER...I have seen Dr. Shapiro for the last 18 years, if not more! I have had nothing but the best of service from him and his staff. Staff changes, but they have always been nice and helpful. Also, all my contact lens, prescription eyeglass and prescription sunglasses have been fulfilled by the store side. I can go in at anytime for a free adjustment. They also hooked me up with a pair just for working on the computer. All the ladies working over these 20 years have helped me to pick the right pair. The fact that they have endured as other businesses have come and gone is a testament to their excellent service and reputation!

Only my second time at an eye doctor in my life, and the experience was outstanding! Id really like to call out a staff member for going above and beyond, but honestly, EACH AND EVERY PERSON at this location was outstanding . Such a great experience.

My wife and I were on vacation in Miami when I lost my glasses on the beach. I was quite frustrated as I was going to drive to Key West the next morning. Obviously I cannot see anything clearly without the glasses. I called this For Eyes Optical store at Alton road and they did an amazing job by:1. Answered my phone call at 7:30PM in the night.2. Made an exception and gave me an early appointment at 9:45AM next morning.3. Gave me an eye exam and provided the contact lenses within 30 minutes4. Kindly and patiently showed me how to use the lenses and the lenses worked perfectly5. Accepted my insuranceSo only with their help I was able to enjoy the second half of my holiday. And eventually I got a new pair of glasses back home in New York using Dr. Shapiros prescription.

This is a great place! I walked in for the first time with an eye infection, and Dr. Shapiro treated me right away. I went back a few weeks later to be fitted for contacts and a full eye exam. The entire staff, and Dr. Shapiro are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend this establishment.

I would honestly give this place a 3.5 stars. Dr. Shapiro is a very nice man and pleasant optometrist. The prices arent bad and the staff is relatively nice. They are very stingy when it comes to providing samples, for instance if you dont buy contact lenses through them, they you really have to pull teeth in order to get some samples to hold you over. The equipment seems a little outdated to, I think he could step it up in that department.But all-in-all this is a good optometrist to go to!Hope that helps!

So, I am on Vacation on Miami Beach. I lost my right eye contact, and realized I forgot my contacts back at home. I called my optometrist and asked for guidance on what to do. She said in an emergency situation, you can commonly call a local one, and we can fax your prescription. Very common we do it all the time. So I call closet place they only have 2 left of mine of the free ones they get from the various manufactures for sizing and tossing. I was like cool, no worries totally understand. Call these guys, next on the list. Tell them my situation, I just need one for the weekend to get me home to my years supply. They say no worries, had my optometrist fax them. I take an Uber get over there, and they say oh no we dont have the ones for sizing we just have 250.00 box worth. We will not give you a toss away free one for sizing, even though I explained in detail that is what I was looking for. So instead of putting in a lovely loving review that they saved me. Well they get a one star. I was 100% cool with them just saying no we cant and moving on to another place. Horribly customer service. Find another. Cheers!

Complete waste of time. They decided not to share that they dont take insurance until I was in for my appointment and asked if they needed my info. Dont waste your time. Plenty of other options on the beach.

Horrible. Dr. Shapiro has no customer service skills. I made an appointment today for 3:30 pm. I walked in at 3:30 pm and he told me I was late. And then he gave me a hard time so I just left without even having the appointment.I was reluctant to even have this visit because I went a year ago and he was just as gruff. Tried to sell me a glaucoma eye exam - which I dont need since Im in my 30s and which my insurance does not cover (since I dont need it).I will gladly take my business elsewhere. Theres plenty of other eye doctors

Poor service and bad selection. I wanted to get a cheap deal and figure this would be a good place, wrong! I wasted my time and Im surprised this place is even open. There was no other customers in here, and I know why. The lady in the front was on her phone texting and didnt even want to make a sale. I hated this place!

I have been going to this location for over ten years. Their has been a shift in corporate philosophy regarding customer service. I hope they find their way back.

First time and worst experience ever! Came to this store as a last resort and regret it. Limited selection of perscription frames. Service more expensive than most even with insurance. Went for frames and contact lense measurements. Got my frames okay and needed to continue to visit the store to get the right contact perscription. I have myopia. Rather than letting me measure the contacts on the spot, and let me tell him whether they were the right perscription, Dr Shapiro gave me a few dailies to try out and to get used to. Went 3 times and neither the perscriptions worked out for multifocals. He got annoyed by me visiting still (even if paid services fell under warranty) and said that he wouldnt waste his time any longer. I told staff not to worry that if the perscription try outs he game last continued to be the wrong perscription that i would never come back and that I would go to another doctor! Terrible customer service by the doctor.

Its based on making money. Not helping people.
