Ordered green smoothies before our trip to the beach. Super refreshing, easy ordering experience via the app and attentive staff at pickup.7/18/21 - Grabbed a summer chicken bowl after the beach and it was delicious and filling. Staff was friendly and served us quickly. Nice vibe outside with chill music.
Had the mocha smoothie and an iced coffee. Both were delicious and refreshing. Shop is clean and all the employees were wearing masks inside. Would definitely visit again!
Great place to go for breakfast! We got an iced latte, iced matcha, the egg sandwich, and the Salmon avocado. The drinks were well balanced, and the sandwiches were both very fresh. The egg sandwich was a little more unique due to using soft boiled eggs instead of fried. Check this place out. Definitely worth the visit!
We ate breakfast here twice on our 5 day trip because the food is really good. Everything is fresh tasting and the service was great too.We had the almond berry toast, a smoothie, an egg and avocado sesame bagel sandwich with an amazing green sauce and the overnight oats. Tons of vegan and vegetarian options and even though the menu is small.. Everything sounded great to eat. Its a hard choice between the meals. They are professionals when it comes to flavor. Back home Im virginia we are making our version of their toast all the time! Thank you for the delightful food!
So, I love this place, great food, BUT, if you get there around noon they won’t have over half the menu, and the host won’t tell you they’re out of bread and bagels (which I asked!!) I had to wait 10 min in line, and only when I got to the register they told me they were out of sourdough, bagels and avocado, but hey, you can still pay the full 12 dollars for a piece of bread with one egg!If you go there early you can enjoy a nice meal, but don’t go there with expectations, they almost always have something missing in each dish
The only reason I am giving any stars is because the food was good, the service from a particular worker was unacceptable. We visited three times in three days while my son took scuba lessons close by. After completion of his lessons, I brought him here to celebrate. I am always masked but he is not for medical reasons. The worker, Mari, separated my child from me in a city we had never been to, with strangers. Very disgusted that she would even suggest such an act, especially in this day and age. She was then completely rude, as was the cashier. After leaving, a worker offered to tell the manager about the incident, I did not get her name due to the upset but she was hispanic with long hair.
Was always a fan of this place and a loyal customer. That doesnt mean anything to them. Not able to answer customer dissatisfaction request, not even offer store credit, just tell me I am wrong and hang up. I never knew this could be possible to do with loyal clients, but there is always a first time, right.
Spontaneous stop at Pura Vida South of Fifth while walking my fur-baby this morning. Super friendly staff, pet friendly, Apple pay accepted, and cold water while you wait. Lots of delicious vegan, gluten free options available. I got the Welcome to Miami smoothie with extra plant based protein, added bonus they use eco-friendly agave straws.
Nice cafe with healthy options and outdoor seating. You order inside and service will bring your food out to you. They have tasty smoothies, filling bowls, and plenty of hot options to choose from.
What began as a small smoothie shop South of Fifth is now slowly taking over Miami (with good reason). Everything on the menu is deliciously fresh. The service is always on point. They’ve branded it beautifully over the years and it’s worth spending the $ there. Been going for years and at this point now I eat there at least once a week because it’s healthy and consistently fresh.
I give this place two starts only because of the very nice personnel! The food is not as good as it used to be...they dont even use the organic milk but yet, charge you a service fee... what for? Catch up on your branded coffee cups... Charging guests more and cutting on marketing? The place is just boring now, nothing special. Start to concentrate on the quality, not the quantity of your locations...
Pura Vida always had interesting drinks so I walked in just to check. They have raw juice shuts and cold pressed juices. I purchased a “flu shot”. Due to COVID-19 . They also have cloud water fortified with zinc and vitamin d. The parfait has whole ingredients and doesn’t seem to have any colorings or preservatives. Whole and organic is more expensive but more nutrient dense and healthier in the long run. Thanks to Pura Vida for promoting a healthy lifestyle
This is my go-to after I finish up a nice jog from Lummus Park to the South Pointe Park Pier. Its a good distance away from the pier to get a cool down walk in and away from the crowds. They have really healthy offerings such as acai bowls, sandwiches, power bowls, smoothies and more!On this trip, I got their Welcome to Miami Smoothie and Blue Majik Bowl. The smoothie was good with crunchy seeds blended in that give it texture. Not overly sweet either. The Blue Majik Bowl is a new offering. Ive been seeing this blue spirulina pop up at a lot of healthy food stores. Im here for it though! Fun color and very aesthetic. It came with blueberries, coconut, and granola. Not too sweet either and I think would fair a little bit better with some honey. All in all, if you are looking for something health-conscious on South Beach, this is it!!
The place is very nice, and the coffee very tasty, i liked it!I wanted to enjoy a coffee with a book, unfortunately, they asked me to consum more, or they had a 45min. Limit on the table. So, nice place to grab and go, or to sit eat and leave. The nice tables they have are not too mucho for customers.... Unfortunately.Everything elses, seemed to be very good...
Such great food - so nice to have a tasty and healthy option in south beach! Bookmarking this place on Google maps as a favourite. I need to get back here for breakfast. I had the salmon, mango, quinoa, avocado bowl for dinner. Great portion size too. Nice staff and relaxing atmosphere is also a welcome change from Ocean Drive which is great but time away is always good.
The food was phenomenalllll, but the only thing that takes away from it is the very uncomfortable line for waiting to order and the fact that they charge nicely and yet theyre also going to charge a service fee for no service. The food tasted delicious, but Ill see if I order on the app to pick up next time
Very healthy, you just want to have it all.I recommend the pesto chicken sandwich 😋
Used to love this place but theyve added a sneaky 10% service charge to the checks. The prices should be 10% higher on the menu. Thats an Ocean Drive type tactic.
Staff is friendly & lots of healthy food options. Nick is always amazing! Great vibe.
I spent close to $5k on Pura Vida from work in 2019. Moved away and then just came back to Miami to visit.I was sooooo excited to take my girlfriend here and finally show her the restaurant she had heard so much. When I got there, they were out of things on the menu, and when I ordered the same acai bowl I’ve had 100 times it was completely different, smaller, and not as good.
Highly recommend this location. Please make sure that you order / pick up from the right location. Thank you Nick And NATI was saving our lives! We ordered from the wrong location due to location issues on my phone which showed the west avenue location as the closest to us. Honest mistake on my part.I recommend the mango / salmon bowl as well as the spicy tuna bowl (pictured). These were one of the best bowls we’ve had in terms of quality, portion and taste!
Took 80+ minutes for my food to arrive. Website says they try for 30 min delivery, this wasnt even close. Set better expectations if this is going to be the customer experience.
Good food! A little pricy and wish they didn’t add a 10% service fee, I’d be happy to pick up my food myself. Just increase the item price.
It started off with me walking in i was sat but i the way i was served..? Was phenomenal!! With the upmost respect & courtesy that i not only deserve but was privileged to experience. I was served by Deja and she brought out the dish ahi asian salad it has my heart open sleeves torn, was a great portion size and very tasteful ...Deja was very nice and helpful and brought out my food in a timely manner ugh soooo lovely.
I had the açaí bowl. Very refreshing and light. I really enjoyed the granola as well. The giant cookie was very worth it, very rich. I would definitely share it. Overall The food is on the pricier side, but it’s good!
Nicely located from the hotel, it took only a few minutes to walk there. There was no line and I got the food pretty fast. Tip: their online order is a nice way to order beforehand. It asks at what time you will pick your order out, easy! Ps. The food itself was really super good, hummus was just right.
Fantastic vegan and vegetarian-friendly restaurant that focuses on healthy breakfasts (avocado / egg on multi-grain sourdough, breakfast & lunch bowls, green juices and smoothies, açaí bowls, etc). Everything was perfect - the quality of the food (organic, fresh), the service (welcoming & friendly), the presentation of the food. I came for a healthy breakfast (egg salad on sourdough) but the showstopper for me was the strawberry goat cheese croissant I ordered for dessert. It was so decadent and delicious, just wow. Next time I’ll try the charcoal & dulce de leche croissant and the vegan lentil & vegetable bowl which sounds delicious. Looking forward to my next visit!
Have never left a poor review on any restaurant because I feel any problem can be resolved personally with the staff. Today I came out to eat with my friends at the Miami location and they denied us tap water multiple times, offering us 6$ bottled water as an alternative. This is a basic resource that has never been denied to me at any other establishment. With so many other food options in the area I am very discouraged to ever return or recommend this location to anyone else. (P.S. they offer dogs tap water)
Yummy lunch! Came here for the outside seating. Hit this spot to get a taste of adashah. A pulse of lentils, coined the newest protein. The best way to explain it is as an alternative to tofu. Only downside is the serving is way too large and we weren’t given the choice to order half portion. I would have loved the chance to try more things from the menu! As mentioned before by another user the cups for tap water are plastic but all other utensils and plates reusable.
Excellent food and friendly, prompt service. We had to wait a few minutes to order at lunch time on a Saturday but the wait was less than 15 minutes. Tables may be hard to find depending on the crowd but we managed to get one immediately. Portion sizes are just right. Prices are standard for the location.
Amazing food ! Amazing Staff! Everything is extremely clean including the bathroom. The music a very cheerful. Shout out to my server Gin for making my day. Thank you for my health meals.
Coffee was very good! The staff were helpful and friendly but hovered a little too much. Would absolutely go back if Im ever in the area again!
Healthy, delicious and well balanced meals! Highly recommended for an exceptional breakfast.
Loved the food!! Very fresh and worth the wait. Pricey however, and not even water while you wait, so be prepared!
Found the location doing a search for vegeterian meals in Miami. After reading a few reviews decided to check it out. Place was in a great location with parking on the street all around. They offer many different healthy options. I tried an Acai bowl and enjoyed it. Took a few pics of the bowl before I ate.
Cute little healthy food joint. We had coffees and an acid bowl. It seemed like a pretty decent value especially in South Beach. No complaints about the food but the searing is a little scarce. Theres a 45 minute limit on a table but that doesnt really help when there are only like 7 tables. I would go back but probably get it to go or only order once I had a table.
Not knowledge of allergens. I have celiac disease and I came because they offer an extensive gluten free menu. None of the employees understand what gluten free is nor understand celiac disease. Very unfortunate for this expensive place.
I come to this Pura Vida every week and even tho it’s a long wait around 11am, I don’t mind waiting because I know everyone is ordering around that time too. The staff who helps me is always great but today a darker gentlemen with dreads named Greg was very rude to mean. But I ask him about my order and completely ignores me and my phone with my order number. I wait a while and try and give him the benefit of the doubt but I still get ignored and a guy that looked like his friend arrives and he acknowledges the guy right away. Then a good looking lady and is he is so eager to help her. After waiting a while I came to the conclusion that if your not one of Greg’s “boys” or a pretty looking girl you get ignored. I decided to go in to talk to a nice guy which I think is the manger and helps me right away and he hands me my food. I just came back from New York where customer service is on point and then my first day back in Miami. I get this customer service. Not ok.
Amazing healthy quality food! Vegan chocolate chip cookie is sooo good. Went here 3 days in a row. Smoothies, salads, wraps, appetizers are all such high quality. Clientele is upscale health conscious. The only neutral comment is that like all of Miami Beach they are not the friendliest, which I suppose is understandable given the workers likely comparably low pay in such an affluent area.
The quinoa bowls here are delicious. Hard to find parking though.
Pura Vida Miami has outdone themselves again with their newest location in Aventura- the cafe is situated in a quiet street with outdoor seating and the inside dining decor makes you feel like you’re on vacation. The food and service is outstanding with friendly staff and a full menu that is hard to make a decision- everything I’ve tried has been so delicious- ahi bowls, green juice, salmon wrap, smoothies- just a few of my favorites! They close at 4:00 pm, so I picked up a couple of bowls to eat for dinner! 😋
Tasty vegan empanadas at a very reasonable price, they come with excellent sauce and are stuffed to the brim with veggies.Vegan options are clearly marked, and they even have some vegan desserts.
They have everything from breakfast, and the daily specials are a great choice if you are not sure what you want. This is worth visiting!
The food was so fresh!!! I had the toasted chicken wrap with spinach and it was delicious!!! It came with a nice fresh salad and was so filling! Restaurant was also very clean with nice outdoor seating!
Great place to grab quick healthy good food! App is easy to use for online ordering and pick up. One of employees Greg at edgewater location always provides great service and is always in a great mood doing his job. Very refreshing to see that!
Very cool place.I didnt know that vegan meals could be so tasty.Very nice size portions.Fair priceDefinitely will go back next time in Miami Beach
Honestly this place has gone downhill. From service to food quality. Way overpriced for what it is
The staff is wonderful. The atmosphere is very chill and the food is fantastic!
BEWARE OF this restaurant if you suffer from peanut/nut allergies!!!!! After my daughter ate her meal she ended up in the ER via ambulance because they accidentally gave her ALMOND milk in her coffee. The ticket said NUT allergies and STILL they added almond milk. The manager promised he would take care of the medical and ambulance expenses but no one person has responded to my calls or message. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!
All I can say is, worth the line & the wait! Everything here is delicious, and if you’re looking for a meal, you can get something light or heavy, meat or no meat. And the smoothies are amazing. I got the hummus & pita and Welcome to Miami smoothie with passion fruit, mango, banana, and honey, and it was the perfect beach snack. There’s not always a line but if there is when you go, just know it’s worth the wait. You can also order ahead & skip the line altogether, which is pretty neat.
I absolutely loved it the waiter came to our table and ask about our experience and brought my husband for the first time we had the avocado and the salmon toast and also got fresh pita with hummus with our cafe con leche and it was lovely!Gin was our waiter and she was fenomenal with us!Thanks so muchWe enjoyed and will be back soon !
This healthy food makes you feel like you just finish a energy drink but you know it was all good stuff and very tasty love itAlso service is good price a little high but is worthy
Pura Vida is always delicious. I wish they were 0 waste and used actual dishes instead of disposable bowls, cups and cutlery.Edit to reply to owner: I did dine in but was given take out.
