I just went there to buy an item i needed, i understand the store is under closing conditions, but normal operating hours are posted, I knocked on the door to be let in, but it was closed, after knocking several times some guy without a shirt came to the door and said they were closed, i said no you are not, he said they closed at 4pm, I asked where is it posted . either let me in or close the doors forever and quit confusing the public, he was rude and condescending and would not look me in the eyes, i know he was lying . these employees are making up their own hours until the store finally shuts down. I hope corporate sees this review and does something about it. i have been a customer on the sobe since 1994 and never have i been treated this way!! NAVY VETERAN!!!!

Just walked over there, on a friday, to get some engine oil for my car. i get there and the door is locked. look inside and see a guy inside signaling that they are closed. website states open til 9pm. Even the sign on the door/store itself says 9pm. they should update the hours online to the correct times, so that people dont waste their time. annoying.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. Had to change a battery in my car real quick and the installation fee was at a cost. So I Figured Id try myself, they provided me with tools and advice on how to get it out since it was a bit tricky on a Mercedes.I left with a ratchet by accident and brought it back a day later, the guy mentioned he knew he gave it to me before I left and I didnt realize it had fallen in my bag. He didnt make a stink he was very cool and he was right, my mistake and I brought it back a day later when I found it. I wont go anywhere else when I need auto parts or service. Thanks!!

Couldnt ask for a better local auto store! Ive visited Advanced Auto Parts numerous times for random things and the workers are always super helpful, and friendly too. But they made my A+++++ list when my car battery died and they came through to save the day with a portable jump starter-- FOR. FREE. Thats considered close to a miracle in South Beach, Miami. Thank you guys!

A few minutes later a guy opened and told me they were closed and they couldn’t help me because registers were closed and they had a long day.. 10 minutes before closing time. Seriously? Tried to scam me for the most expensive battery. I specifically asked for the cheapest one and they said they did not have anything else in stock. 5 minutes of research online and found a compatible 79.99 battery, in stock.

People were nice enough in a hey, Im a blue collar worker bee kind of way, Their database of 5 zillion items didnt have one entry for windshield wiper blades for my 2006 Mercedes C230, which was statistically impossible. So I bought blades for a similar car, a C280, but they didnt fit. Now I have to return them. So, good if you know exactly what you need, iffy if you dont. Also, they aint cheap. My Bosch wiper blades cost $22 for each one, online a pair of similar blades cost under $25.

Don’t even know how to order a part for a customer. I had to go in twice because the first time it didn’t arrive when it was supposed to, they “reordered” it, a week later and my parts STILL ARENT IN!

Normally a great experience, but lately over several weeks really bad service. Maybe just my luck to run into a few malcontents unhappy with a job. Today, Sunday, 1.28.2018 at around 11:15 bought windshield wipers for my Vette, a salesman named Barbaro not very eager to go out and install them, then argued when I pointed out something, became downright nasty and told me if I know so much about it why didnt I install them myself. I am a 30 year customer living on the Beach who will happily drive over the causeway to go to Auto Zone from now on. As I am sure the Corporation wants to improve their service and welcome feedback I am mailing this to the Corporate Headquarters also.

By far one of the better places for Auto Parts in Miami Beach they have a wide selection and can be very understanding when it comes to returns. Only reason why I didnt read it 5 stars is because sometimes you cant get someone at the front desk right away.

These guys replaced my battery late at night after the service departments at the dealerships were closed. I was EXTREMELY GRATEFUL to Chris who did it himself - and did it very quickly too. They had the right batteries in stock and more importantly, I got a battery that was much better than was originally stocked in my newish vehicle too!I was in a very desperate situation when I showed up at their store. I had been broken down on the side of the road and was unable to start my vehicle. The tow company that gave me a jump to get my car started recommended that I drive my vehicle to an auto store because most of them can test a battery to see if it is bad, and replace them on-the-spot if needed. Well, needless to say, my battery was bad, Chris replaced it, and my car has been running perfectly ever since.I am very grateful for this location and Chris - I would definitely recommend this place and return here for any other simple auto needs!!!

Barbaro gave me terrible customer service. I came in to get a new battery with free installation but he complained the whole time, was difficult, and even left to go help other customers throughout the process without informing me what he was doing or if hed return to continue installing my battery. I had to ask for his help multiple times, which he would walk very slowly throughout the store without informing me what he was doing or if he was even willing to help. There was trouble with some of the components so he told me to do things to my engine on my own which electrocuted me twice while he went inside to do unrelated things. Thankfully another gentleman came to help, was polite, and would inform me that he was going inside with a reason and estimate time to return with possible solutions. Overall it took approximately an hour to do a battery installation, much of which I ended up doing myself, and after which Barbaro told me in a condescending tone Thank for all the work I did for free.If I ever come back, I will insist help from someone other than Barbaro.

A bit expensive but they fixed my water pump and I was out the door. Everyone was very knowledgeable and nice.

Had exactly what I needed and the good advice to go along with it.

Went there for a couple of detailing items like degreaser and tac rags. I ended up getting a great deal on 6 qts 20w-50 and a filter, an oil pan, funnel, orange hand cleaner (name escapes me), degreaser, and 6 so-so microfiber rags for $45. The associate Kristopher helped me out at least 4 separate times and told about two of the deals that I got, and was generally a pretty cool guy. Big ups to Kris and AAP, this is my close-to-home auto supply stop now. Forgot the tac rags, but looking forward to coming back to pick them up! Free parking is a big plus on SOBE also

Tuesday feb/19/2013 visit the store because my car battery was bad, is the store near me talk with a Latin girl that has a stain on his face near the eye and told her to buy the battery and if you could do me the favor bring the battery 4 blocks is where my car was broken and her response was not

I was in this store yesterday Chandon entire ask barbarian M. I needed some bulbs for my car and I sell the wrong ones, the next day Chandon went to claim what had happened to manager LazaroV. .I do not return the bulbs and I had to buy the correct ones again.
