Cross-Country Cycle has been keeping my BMWs running perfectly for over 15 years now. Over the course of those years, Ive had a 2004 R1150RT, a 2009 R1200RT, and now a 2015 R1200RT which Ive logged well over 160,000 combined miles on, and the service department at Cross-Country has been superb throughout in keeping the machines in perfect mechanical condition. Ive always been treated fairly and honestly, and thus recommend this dealership highly!
My Experience was by far one of the best in my lifetime of purchasing vehicles. I would like to point out Maire was my sales person. She was kind, sweet, and welcoming. She was not aggressive and didn’t push me to buy anything. What did persuade me was the fact that she knew what she was talking about and I could tell she had a love for bikes. She was very informative and reached out to me the very next business day early in for morning after Labor Day. She was patient with getting my insurance and payment plan completed. Thank you Maire you are the best!!!!!!!!!!
Overpriced compared to other NJ dealers.Im never again buying “extended warranty and tire protection”. Tried to cancel in 3 years, per the terms, dealer is supposed to action. DJ at the dealer promised that he would process, but he has been non-responsive to emails/phone over a month now.
I am still waiting from them, to bring the parts for my motorcycle, which they broke after I drop for the service.Be aware of them, if you have an accent or you look little bit different from them, they will do anything to get away,They are real shady.
Matt in the service department was great and very helpful and informative. Thanks Matt!
I highly recommend Cross Country Cycles. I have bought two motorcycles from them, one being a Ducati Monster 1200s, and now a BMW S1000RR M. Al delivered the highest levels of customer service I have experienced. Information was accurate, responses to queries were turned around very fast. Answers were clear and where necessary detailed enough for me to make a decision from beginning to end of the process. I would highly recommend your next purchase with them.
All these great reviews, and yet I call leave a message for service was sent to voicemail left message never called me back. So. I call again to get The voicemail again and called back again push 0 to final speak with someone and was told to leave a message they will call back guess what its almost 5 pm no call. I have a recall on my fuel pump from BMW will have to find a different shop obviously this isnt going to work.
The Worst customer service ever!BMW Service area NEVER answer the phone, you have to leave message in order to have someone call you back. If you are lucky, they will return the call in the same day, but they might forget to return the callI forgot the name of the guy at Service area, but its the third time I try to get my bike serviced at that place and this lil silly guy is always being sarcastic, rude and always complicating simple stuff!- Why did you buy a bike with over 100k miles on it?- You should sell it rather then fix it, doesnt work-Do you think you are the only gentlemen to own a BMW in NJ?the phrases quoted above came from the mouth of the BMW service area attendant.Im wondering what kind premium customer service says that to the clientMost BMW charge between $87 to $94 per labor hour! This place think they are the top, so they will charge you $125 per hour and you will have to deal with sarcastic and not helpful people at all like the guy Ive spoke with!I have to do a Stator swap on my bike, the only reason Ive called them was because others Bmws dealer have schedule available just a month from now. Before I call back, I had personally talked with the service area manager, he was courteous, polite and told me that I called probably send the bike in with a week, but when Ive called them back, they couldnt keep with whatever they had promised. Run away from that place! They will treat you like sh*t!Take your bike to Hermys in PA or any other dealer...
It was a great experience. I definitely recommend Cross County! Al is so helpful and professional. Thank you very much for the perfect customer service.
Ok so I had a very good experience dealing with these guys, especially Felecia she was great. She returned my emails promptly knew what the hell she was talking about and, I can’t stress this enough, she was an actual human. I’m tired of talking to machines and bots this was nice. Between the human interaction and the excellent service you got a customer for lifeThanks again for everythingMark.
I have had a couple of dealings with Cross Country Cycle and it has been an excellent experience. I have dealt directly with Felicia and her customer service is stellar and I would highly recommend contacting her. I’ll definitely be back.
The whole service department team did an outstanding job handling insurance repairs on my 2020 BMW S1000R. Professional, hassle-free, and the repair work was top-notch-- I got my bike back truly as good as new, as promised. A++
Felicia came through again with excellent service. Her knowledge of the Triumph brand and commitment to solving customer requests and problems make her and Cross Country critical members of our community. Well done!👍
Just picked up my second bike at CC. Sales, service, parts are always just on there game. Always a good experience. Feel like a real effort is always put in.
Looking for used; Henry was great. He had a lot of suggestions, and information to ponder. If I decide to chose one of your brands, ill be back. Thanks again, Henry!
I cant say enough great things about this dealership and Henry in particular. The buying process was very comfortable and quick. I got the exact bike i wanted with no hassle. The service after my purchase was stellar. You should have no doubts buying a bike from here, they have your back no matter what. I will definitely be a repeat customer. You should be as well.
Went in for a recall came out with my engine light on and the part he told me would be changed due to recall was NOT CHANGED!!!!
This place is always looking for a way to cheat. Please beware the will find a way to lie to you or make you pay more. I’m hate this place but love bmw. Please beware
Amazing staff!! Cannot thank Al enough. Great guy! Helped make the buying process EXTREMELY easy and we worked out a deal quick. No fussing around, no long waits at the dealer, and no hassle. Recommend Al Kosloski for your next Ducati any day of the week. Thanks again Al!
Ordered machined cylinder head covers on Apr 12. Delivery was today the 28th. Little bit long to wait but all in all pretty good customer service and a speedy reply to messages. Would definitely buy from here again, theyre good people.
Spent $20k on a new BMW bike purchase, sales were great no issues, how ever the 600 mile service experience was not. Asked for a favour as a test of what kind of dealership service wise these people are, asked them to screw two holes in a top case and expected no charge for this, as this is what a favour means but got a $64 bill added to my service, this is nearly 30 minutes of labour for a 5 minute piece of work, plus $15 added for work shop consumables which are what? a pair of latex gloves for the tech, come on! and 6 days before any response from them when I complained - dreadful. On the call the BMW brand manger said he would call me back within 2 hours aftr he was going to talk to the service people, its now 6 days, still nothing - so at least I know now what they are like - make yourself very clear at service before they touch your bike and check your bill. Wander if the owner will comment on this post - unlikely.
My wife and I felt very welcomed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend this store to friends and relatives. Will definitely make the hour trip back to this store.
Excellent service!Nice inventory! All bike brand merchandise to choose from.
Definitely worth going here. Professional and friendly staff. From both sales to service.
Visited CC years ago .. no purchase but did get a test ride.. 2018 … I purchased … this year trade in and purchased… big factor I kept coming back was Al Kosloski.. personable .. excellent … CC give what Al wants cuz he’s worth more than platinum and BTC at 64k …. Combined….
If you are looking for a friendly experience with good people this is the place to go. I will never but another bike anywhere else.
Great big motorcycle store/shop. I bring my BMW R1100s here for servicing sometimes. they do a great job and theyre open to putting aftermarket parts on the bikes. theyre a bit pricey but they do a good job. shop seems very organized. staff is very helpful and friendly.
Toys r us for motorcycles, gear and parts. Staff is mostly friendly and helpful. Meghan is an absolute treasure and a pleasure to deal with. If you ride, go there!
Terrance and Al were a pleasure to work with.
Nice inventory, good service dept, excellent sales staff for bikes and clothing
Cross Country BMW & Ducati is top shelf and #1.he entire team is very professional & knowledgeable. Special thanks to Henry, Al & Terrance. My Bike was delivered by the owner of the establishment!! I truly appreciate the time and patience. All the Best!!
Is large selection great people to talk to nice place
Never had a problem there. Beautiful bikes and great selection of bikes and gear
Recently went to Cross Country Cycle Met CJ Raco for the first time he made sure my partner & I were taken care of & in the process making an excellent first impression on us. The process was customer focused, engaged, and transparent. We are so excited with our new toy we went back Days after to pre-order our next purchase with CJ, his knowledge of the motorcycles, options, and approach to the buying process was outstanding also CJ made us extremely comfortable & we highly recommend him. Thank you so much CJ ☺️
My wife and I love cross country cycles! They take care of us with all of the service and sales on our BMW GSA bikes and we trust their knowledge and expertise to keep us running reliable as we work our way through all of the BDR rides in the United States. I can’t say enough about how helpful Justin has been in BMW service, from getting me set up last minute to go on an adventure ride to being available on the phone in the middle of a ride to help me out with minor issues he is an integral part of us enjoying our adventure rides!!Also Brianna in apparel helped me finish my collection of Klim gear, and took her time helping my wife get fitted with a helmet that is comfortable to her head. All of this has helped reduce her rider fatigue and helped us to ride longer and have more fun! Thanks for all your support you guys are incredible, get ready we will have plenty of maintenance to do when we get back from this ride! #NEBDR2020
Very good place and they have what ever you need👍👍
Great selection depending on what kind of bike you looking for. They have a used department which is a different building. Good variety of equipment.
Couldnt ask for a more professional, friendly, or helpful staff. Communications during the research and ordering process is outstanding!
Recently left my motorcycle there to get service and I made one of the biggest mistake taking my motorcycle there. I bought two motorcycles from this place but I will make sure not to go there again.Whoever is looking to purchase anything please go to different places. Definitely not recommending this dealer. Service department sucks. The employees do not have any experience in customer service at all. After calling 4 days constantly no update on my motorcycle, cant leave voicemail because voicemail is always full. When they finally pick up your call they put you on hold for hour, employees without any common sense, not to disrespect but thats the fact. The motorcycle battery just died after purchasing and using it for 10 months. When it was getting service done, they told me battery is gone we would need to install a new one. After I made my mind for paying overpriced batter which would cost $40 or less to pay $108 then service department stated that now they are going to charge $154 for same battery because my motorcycle is in parking lot and they have to bring it back in. What kind of nonsense is that? To replace batter they can do it right out side but no just want rip customers off.If I could give -5 starts even that would be more than what they deserve.
Great dealership with knowledgeable salespeople and a great service department. Maire (Sales) did an excellent job helping me choose my 850 GS and spent a lot of time answering my questions. Transaction was smooth and painless and I was treated extremely well throughout the process. In the service department, Chris Lisa is a very nice guy. Definitely recommend this place.
Great variety of bikes. The staff seemed to be enthusiastic about their craft.
Parts guy was very helpful and knowledgeable.
Theres a wide selection for different riders, from cam, trikes, quad. Sport bikes were limited at the time I visited.
Visited here to check out some new models. We didnt end up buying anything but the store is very nice and the sales people are friendly. Went back again and bought some gloves for my wife. Visited the bathroom and they have something I never saw before, an outlet cut out of the mirror. Apparently some poor planning by the construction crew, it gave me a laugh so I gave the place 5 stars 👍
Great place to search and find a bike.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the service department again for another great service and especially to Justin the Service Consultant. I never bought the bike there, however the sale and service is excellent. I will definitely give them the chance on the next bike. Any service issues, please ask for Justin. I do not have any relationship with anybody at the dealer !!!!!.
Worked with Chris in Ducati service, he was so professional. Always kept me informed of repairs from the beginning when he got bike 3 or 4 days ago . Thank you Chris it’s been a pleasure with you expertise and keeping me updated.
Recently had some performance work completed and Justin in service and Matt in parts were exceptional in their knowledge, pricing and service delivery (shout out to Chris as well in service). I could not be happier with the bike now and the outcome results (it rips)- good guys and biker friendly dealership. I have been buying from Terence for many years and referred many friends and he is an honorable and transparent person.
A Few weeks ago I sent and email requesting information about a BMW s1000r, Alex the Manager from Cross Country Cycle answer me back saying that they have the bike after that my total experience with them has been a way too good, It was a time that I thought it was real, Alex answer all my questions besides that he give the price that no one, NO ONE did it, from all the Dealers here in NY, Im from Long island, NY and I went all the way to NJ no just because it was a great deal also because they treated me with respect and also they do help me to do my trade on my on term, I want to thanks Alex and also all the personal from Cross Country Cycle to make of this deal my best experience ever in a motorcycle dealer, Guys this my bike number 15 so, I know what Im talking about.Thank you again
Good dealership. Lots of choices and helpful staff
Al is a great salesman and was a pleasure to deal with. Great deal on a beautiful bike.
Sales Staff does not value clients time. Appointment was set for 1PM on 05/08/2020. Called ahead to let them know I will be there at 1:00PM. When arrived it was raining, and they are not letting people in the store which is understandable. One of the sales member asked if I had a appointment told him yes, I heard him tell Al the sales associate his 1PM is here. From that moment I waited 15 minutes in the rain and no one came out to say Al will be there or he is in the middle of something. But I guess the staff at Cross Country Metuchen has not been given training, on how to handle clients and just simple manners. Credit check and everything else was good, wanted to see the bike and get a feel for it. Today was a blessing, got to see what kind of service I would have expected after the purchase. If you want unprofessional sales staff then Cross Country Metuchen is the place for you.
Prompt service, knowledgeable staff.
Matthew Boley is an excellent employee. Very helpful with many parts!
Amazing experience with the service here, Justin Reid was my advisor and he was outstanding. Recently purchased a Ducati from private sale and wanted to get the 7500 mile service. Justin had set up for my bike to get picked up for free at my house, serviced and then dropped back off, all in very reasonable time. I have owned many bikes, including Harley Davidson’s, and have never experienced such good quality service like I did here. Definitely going back.
Good prices on used inventory.
I had the pleasure of working with Chris Notte on a new bike purchase. He was professional, courteous, and patient as I asked 12,492 questions about the bike purchasing process.I just picked up my dream bike yesterday and it was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had at a new vehicle dealership (bike, car or otherwise).Transactions like that make it easy for me to refer others looking for bikes in the future. Thanks again!
Terrible customer service. Salespeople practically ignore you and are unhelpful.
Maire was AWESOME! She came highly recommended and lived up to the hype. I know salespeople work for the establishment but I truly feel she went to bat for me and got me a GREAT DEAL.The dealership was cool and people were very helpful. Great experience Great bike and once again great job MAIRE!
Nice
I just purchased a k1600 BMW and the salesman was great and as always the service dept is top notch. If you want to buy a bike, this is the place to go. They have something for everybody and their staff is very helpful. The girls in the accessories dept are very sweet also. I recommend them highly.
3/14/2020 went to see a motorcycle 2016 street triple r 675 salesman did not care or wanted to help me simply said the price you see its what you pay. I then asked him about a 2018 street triple RS he replied that one is more money I don’t think you want to buy that one. after that i asked him if there was a different price if i was paying cash he said no what you see its what you pay unreal. Never buying from here ever not even service instead i purchased my new 2016 street triple r 675 in NY Island PowerSports they were very professional and worked out a deal with me. its sad because crosscountry in metuchen is close to my house.
I called Cross Country Cycle because they advertised free shipping on orders over $150. I spoke with two parts employees that both verified my order would ship free. I placed the order online and their e-store also said free shipping. Later that day I get an email stating they have to change me $30 more for shipping. I cancelled my order and it only took a few minutes to find another dealer that was willing to ship free.
Purchased my 2016 BMW R1200RS from CCBMW last year. The purchase experience was very pleasant. Since that time I have had interactions with the service department, the parts department and the apparel departments of the BMW section as well as the general dealership section. I have found everyone uniformly exceptional both in knowledge of their areas and in their level of service. I have been extremely impressed and would recommend them without exception!UPDATE: Had the 12K mile service performed in January 2018. Outstanding support from the service and parts departments (with free pick-up and delivery)!
Great place with a wonderful staff. Service is a little pricy compared the Manhattan BMW which is a surprise but still a great place and local
Justin and Chris in the Ducati Service Department give excellent personal attention to ensure work is done properly and as promised, and good follow up. They also went the extra mile to make sure my bike was delivered in time to take advantage of the upcoming 60° weekend (in January!).
This is a great dealership, I have never had a bad experience here. The staff quite knowledgeable is always ready to help you no matter what you need. I was looking to buy a bike late last year and the salesman that I worked with was really professional. Test rides are also a pleasant experience here. They dont pressure you into buy after if youre not interested. Ive also had numerous services done at their service center and the work is always top notch. I would go there over anywhere else, even if the price was a little bit more then other place just for the peace of mind.
Megan is so helpful and not to mention Gorgeous:)
Didnt do business... Just sight seeing bikes...
Fantastic place for essentially any type of biker. The salesman are friendly and dont do high pressure sales tactics. Great place, there are always events h happening here
Own a Diavel and a BMW R1200RT...Justin in service is exceptional and always takes care of everything seamlessly without an issue. No tricks, and just fair and direct service that exceeds expectations.
I am a loyal BMW rider and I have purchased a few motorcycles from Terence a staff member at Cross Country. Terence is a true motorcyclist who will patiently allow you to make your decisions sometimes over the course of a few months and he really look out for you both before and after the sale. His product knowledge and history is spot on and the negotiation is a seamless and transparent process (both lacking in countless dealerships I have visited). The inventory and apparel at the dealership is diverse and well stocked. This place is a motorcycle disney world, highly recommended.
Called in back in May 2016 for a left over 2015 899 spoke with salesman AL extremely helpful. Negotiated everything over the phone following week walked in paid for the bike and walked out a lot easier than when i purchased my first car. definitely returning there when ready for a second bike.
I visited on a weekday mid-afternoon. The showroom is large and has a variety of brands spread over two levels. I was greeted and then left alone to browse. All of the no-sitting signs are off putting, but I am sure they are there for a reason. Of all the motorcycle dealers in the area, this one has one of the best showrooms.
Worth driving 30 miles for, I know because thats what I did. Cross country has the widest variety of both new and used European and Japanese bikes in the tristate area. There is one main building (two levels)with new bikes from BMW to Kawasaki as well as several other buildings. Its showroom is very organized, clean and well kept. They also have many experienced staff such as Ray Lee.
Third BMW purchased at Cross Country and I continue to find this dealer a reliable source. My sales person, Tereance Stokes (AKA T) knows his stuff and is also a track day rider so he speaks from personal experience as well . My trade-in was fair and T spent a whole day tracking my color and options from a few states away and stayed after closing time to help deliver the bike. Good dude and business.
Henry is an excellent salesman,Very friendly and helpful. Great place to buy a motorcycle
Brought a use thruxton R from Henry and I have to say Henry was honest with me on the bike. I would recommend coming to across country Cycle and visiting the pre own department.
Great shop. I started bringing both my bikes here a couple years ago and the service department is excellent. They tell you whats up with your bike and let you make the call on the work that you want done.
Excellent service from a very professional business. These guys/ gals know their motorbikes and equipment, and are very friendly too. There is a reward scheme in place, so the more you use them, the more you get back.
Its a nice place but the used dept. needs work on maners.
Awesome store. Has Ducati section BMW section and Yamaha section. Lots of bikes and tons of gear. This place is crazy Awesome. Could spend days in here. Huge.
Hello,me and my girlfriend are europeans, traveling with our BMW g650GS around US. We had some issues with the bike and the road assistance brought the bike and us at Cross Country cycle.when I arrive in a BMW dealer shop I know its going to be expensive, they could have made up any story to get money out of us, but instead they have been incredible nice and honest. They fixed the bike in one hour, helped us out with lunch, and been very professional and friendly.Thank yo guys! You have been fantastic and our road trip can happily continue also because of your honesty.Highly recommended!
Terrence is the best. Always gives his advice and an honest opinion. No salesman fluff.
A large, multi-brand full featured motorcycle shop (BMW, Ducati, etc) but seems to be very pricey to me. Oil change on my 2012 R1200RT was over $177. Maybe thats the BMW shop rate at any place, but I dont remember paying that much before. They have a very big parts and accessories area, but somehow the one area is a separate vendor or something, that wouldnt take the coupon we had, it was only good in another area on the other side of the floor. A large selection of bikes to look at, and they often have events.
I purchased the new G310 GS a few days ago and must say that my experience with this dealership far exceeded my expectations. My salesman Alex was extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The entire experience was quick and easy and I was out the door in no time with my new bike. They really go the extra mile for the customer, no matter if youre buying a $50 accessory or a $20k bike.
