I have a music school in Uptown. We have purchased some of our grand pianos from Hall Piano, and I believe that they have given us a really good deal regarding the quality and price of the pianos.Over the years they went out of their way to accommodate repairs and maintenance, even free of charge at times although one of the pianos was out of warranty.We used Hall Piano’s moving services many times over the past 15 years. One of our pianos is a 9ft concert grand and we have multiple floors. Not many companies can handle such a piano safely.My most recent experience with Hall Piano was also nothing less than exceptional. This week we bought a fully restored Mason & Hamlin BB model 7ft semi-concert grand piano, and I must say I am very pleased the work they have done on the piano. Any time I spend more than $15 on a product or service I ask myself 3 questions: 1) am I satisfied?; 2) would I use them again?; and 3) would I recommend them to friends? I give no-brainer ‘yeses’ to Hall on all 3 points. They arrived when they said they would, broke down and wrapped the piano quickly and carefully, and used 31st-century physics to move 400 lbs of baby grand up 15 exterior slate stairs efficiently. I not only would use them again but I HAVE used them again. I chose them this time because I was so satisfied with the last time they moved that piano. And I have recommended them to many others. I was told my piano wouldnt fit up my staircase by someone else, the guys from Hall came in and made it look easy. They were very courteous and clearly know what theyre doing. 3 guys were able to get my 900 lb antique piano up stairs without any damage. What an experience! Hall Piano allowed me to complete a full circle in a decades old tradition that originated between Mother to Son, and now to Father to Son. My mother played piano all of her life. She and I would annually or as often as time allowed visit a piano store wherever i was living at that time of my life (Lansing, Grand Rapids, Biloxi, New Orleans ect). I dont play, but i would love to listen to my mother play, moved by the music and playing equipment that she would never be able to afford. Often there would be a young brilliant worker that would dig through file cabinets to find old hymns for Mom to play. The staff were always so patient, knowing we werent buying. This experience never seemed to waiver from state to state, store to store. My mother passed on in 2009 and is now playing hymns in heaven. In March I took my 14 year old son to Hall Piano on the anniversary of my mothers death, simply by chance. We walked into the store only because the game store down the road was not open yet. My son plays piano with the same love of music that my mother did. Once my son walked into Hall Piano and talked to Steve and his Son, i could see that this store is unique and will be a part of my life as long as i am able to take my son to it. Steve and his son engaged my son, invited him to play keyboards. We were never rushed, in fact we were encouraged to stay and enjoy ourselves. The experience did not fully hit me until my son was invited to play a very special Steinway & Sons player 9 Grand Piano. As he played by memory a favorite song of his did it hit me how important this moment was. THANK YOU HALL PIANO for all the efforts you made to make this Father/Son day so memorable. We will be back and we will be walking out with one of the keyboards my son played.

My buying experience at Hall Piano was pleasant and professional start to finish.My sales rep Steve who also happens to be an owner, was very patient and very knowledgeable. I am coming back to the piano after four decades away so there was no possibility of me actually trying the pianos myself and getting anything valuable from that. Steve demoed multiple pianos for me and once my selection was made he kept the lines of communication open as the piano was prepped and delivery was arranged.My husband and I are in a raised home that is 11 feet off the ground. It took four men to wrestle it up the stairs and into the house but it arrived in good shape.Since this was a restored piano seeing it in full sunlight revealed a few rubs that were quickly addressed by Halls skilled refinisher.I am playing hours each day and quickly remembering what I knew as a child. I am a beginner piano player and went to Hall Pianos to upgrade from my beginner keyboard. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Despite only looking at their lower cost digital piano options in a showroom filled with very expensive grand pianos, they still made me feel like a valued customer. They also offered very accommodating delivery services, however I was impatient and brought my new Roland home with me that day. Good price for an excellent piano, and I am always happy to support a family business. Thank you to Steve and his sons for a great experience.
