I went to Whole Foods to drop off a package I was sending back to Amazon. I was actually surprised to find out you could do this there. When you walk through the front doors there is someone waiting on the side to accept your Amazon returns. All you have to do is show them the barcode that Amazon sent you and they do the rest. I also noticed lockers so you can pick up items you ordered from Amazon, very convenient...

So many options for everyone. i went to get a quick snack but saw so much and didn’t know what to get anymore. easy parking lot. it wasn’t very crowded. they also have self checkout.

Awesome grocery, with a huge selection of foods. The fixings bars are great for meals later or grabbing lunch. Very clean place and staff is helpful if you need to find something.

We needed some very specific pasta, Orecchiette and illy espresso. We stopped at two other (specialty) stores first, and could not find either of these. We found both at Whole Foods, and so much more I was pleasantly surprised.

This location is the Worst location to frequent in New Orleans. The meat is most of the time bad..including seafood and yesterday I picked up an item and it was expired not only was it expired every item of this brand was expired.. I brought it to the Managers attention and he said ok thank you for telling me.😐Not sure whats going on here @ N Broad location . Ive shopped both at the locations on Magazine and Veterans and Never ran into these problems. I only shopped here for the convenience. NEEDLESS to say sometimes you have to sacrifice convenience for Quality. I wont shop on N Broad again.

Whole food is a place that you can buy great fruits and they cook awesome food

The Grill! PowYow! Hands down always gr8t! Its good to be able to shop, order & eat! Management knows what the grill does for its customers. Theres no need to take advantage of the customers by raising the fees, shrinking the portion. Youre not a restuarant & neither is Wegmans but I would spend my money there all day every day! Get it👍🏿

There is a list of item I use as treats for working.. Whole Food has a variety of specific foods I enjoy. People are nice and the store is very clean.

Chicken selection has improved - much more step 4 pastured option. The grass fed beef and lamb selections are much less then they used to be, but they always seem to have grass fed ground. I’ve had to find my meats online as of late.The parking is better then the Uptown location and the employees are definitely less pretentious. The store is very clean and the organic vegetable and fruit options are good.

Had to come in person because items we wanted are not available to order. rather for pickup or delivery. Senior hour is only on Friday, and we are often out of town then. Need to get catfish filets in. They have been out of stock for months. Staff friendly and helpful. Note: Print on labels of prepared foods is very small and can require a magnifying glass. Really wish they hadnt changed the chicken salad recipe. Used to be able to eat it. Now I cannot. Wish they would carry Liberated Specialty Foods items.

Catch it while Terrel is cooking ! I like that this place is clean and organized too . Love the wooden boxes for the food ! The flowers were beautiful ! And deserts amazing ! Everyone looks real happy in here with all this goodness ! 🐯

Always crowded around lunch time but they have awesome lunch options so its to be expected. I love that i can drop my amazon return items at the super quick and easy kiosk right inside the front door.

It is just not my kind of place to shop. No one did anything wrong. Place was clean and organized. Folks even asked to help us more than once. But the prices are outrageous so I did my 5 minutes and turned around. And they still make you wear a mask and Winn Dixie doesnt.

I love Whole Foods, but this is my least favorite store. I’d rather drive to the Magazine street location than shop here. I feel bad for the employees who work here. They are constantly restocking and can’t keep up. When I shop here I feel like I’m shopping at an Amazon warehouse and have to dodge voracious Amazon shoppers who seem to always be in a hurry and running up and down the aisles, and clean the store out of its inventory. The produce I have bought here is subpar and not the whole foods quality I am accustomed to. It seems to have been overpicked, even by ten in the morning. If I’m paying whole foods prices I want Whole Foods quality, not Walmart quality. They need to either convert this location into a warehouse or open another location in Kenner or Metairie. I will be making the trek to the Magazine location from now on.

Is this a Walmart or a Whole Foods? The people seem to act like it. What you think of a Walmart with the lack of normal social norms are displayed here constantly. Not a fan of this location.

They dont sell high alcohol kombucha. It might be a Louisiana thing like the villanization of Cbd but hemp extract is ok. Anyway Its another stop at &eff Bezos grocery stores. Usually Im not disappointed

Having 2 days in New Orleans and staying in a fully equipped hotel, I wanted to cook in my room. This store had almost everything I wanted, Yorkshire Tea, eggs in boxes of 6 not 12, good Blue Cheese, nice organic groceries too.There was a shortage of bread, but theyd just had a severe winter storm so Im not going to blame the store for that... and the cooked slice of pizza made a great lunch, thank you

I love whole foods but this location is the worst in the meat department. They behave like they are doing you a favor by selling the stuff to you. They do not want to cut meat and always talking about their equipment being off or cleaned for the day. I mean the store closes at 9 and they clean the equipment at 5. That should be advertised then. That’s a good 4 hours. The New Orleans location does not have this problem. I do not like this location and I’m not alone. My friends and family have the same experience.

Most unpleasant. Butcher closes an hour before the store and if you go at night they are out of everything in the bakery department. Wasted trip as they couldn’t give me one service I came for.

Its way better than the one in Midcity, but I frequent both. 5-stars....probably in Miami and Honolulu, lol. Better diversity of product in select items but yeah, its great in general. I would shop local chains and occasionally do but Whole Food products are great especially baked items and pizza. Note: do not buy their refrigerated take-home pizza. Why? Your oven sucks and you cant replicate the deliciousness with their oven so just buy their in-house baked pizza. The End.

Staff are not helpful and seem upset to have to work. Or maybe it was just me, because the food girl did not have the same attitude towards other people. There is no “6 feet” anywhere, people just pile up almost touching your shoulders at every line. Staff and customers alike take their masks off to talk right next to each other. Nobody in this place gives half a damn about anything.

While Food remains my go to store for food. However, shopping at the Metairie location feels like being transported into an Amazon warehouse. The aisles are clogged with paid shoppers, too many products are regularly out of stock (last time it was low sodium chicken broth, the time before heavy cream, and for several months Pamelas Gluten-free Corn Bread mix), and the general feel is like a scum at a discount store, but with higher prices. When I can find another store with the variety of fresh seafood, great cheese options, knowledgeable counter staff, Ill stop shopping at Whole Food

Love Love Love Whole Foods...I can always count on finding exactly what I’m looking for here. Now, finding it may be a bit of a mystery; for things are placed in places I wouldn’t think of it but I can always it; even if I have to solicit help from one of the Whole Foods representatives. Be it healthy, be it extravagant, be it wholesome, be it fresh, be it organic; this place has it all.You can get pre-cooked food here, for those of us who don’t enjoy cookingbut do enjoy eating, you can get packaged food here, you can get groceries, you can get homeopathic items here; the question is what CANT you get here, I mean let’s just be honest, if you need it they probably have it or some form of what you need.I like the small cute homemade fines that are located here. Love that you can find items that appear to be made by locals/home things, so to speak. this place was one of the first retail stores to Howells lemonade made by a young African-American girl. That does my heart proud. I’m here for it, I love it, I love small businesses and I love folks that support small businesses.On this particular day, I was going to drop off an Amazon package that I needed to return; how convenient is this... Ill answer that, its VERY convenient!!!! The beauty of it is, I didn’t even have to re-package the item; I only needed to bring the item with its contents, hand it to the young lady at a kiosk in lobby area of the store, give her my name, show her the QR code and boda boom boda bang, I was done. Next, I just await my refund from Amazon, but that’s a different review for a different time.Parking is like a scavenger hunt, truly!!!! Lol. While there is ample parking, all the parking seems to be taken up near the entrance and all thats left is parking spots closer to Veterans Memorial Boulevard. I mean, you’ll have to get your walk on but you will have a parking spot.

Give customers what they are asking for! Items from my grocery order were not in the bag that was handed to me. I called to ask if something was left behind and was told there was nothing and that I would have to come in to replace or refund. Not only is the extra trip to the grocery store a health risk, I live in Jefferson. I am disappointed and frustrated. I have the receipt and can provide all the info and even used a card that can be easily refunded. It would seem as though there would be a better system for these things.

Really nice store! If your into the whole organic, keto, Paleo and healthier eating scene this is the store far you. The items in the store are high quality and in my opinion decently priced some items can be picked up cheaper else where but it most likely wont be worth the gas to go else where just for a few cents difference. Would definitely recommend this store its slowly becoming my favorite place to shop.

Any place that is promoting a healthier way of life and is selling items to help you achieve your better self is great. Every time I come to any Whole Foods I always find stuff I’ve never heard of and those shots I took a picture of along with the facial products I’ve never seen. I don’t like how they have there beauty and vitamins samples in the bottle drawers instead of out on a table like other Whole Foods I’ve been to. There was no one in area, so I felt like a thief but I really wanted to try some items.

Nice pleasant atmosphere. Prices are lower. Staff is overly helpful and friendly. I just wish they had better stock. I guess it was because most people order online now. Lines were long but fast moving and friendly cashiers make it worth the wait. Cant wait until the fresh peanut butter machines are back. Thats the absolute best part of going to Whole foods.

You might have to spend more money here, but the customer service is worth it. I purchased the so delicious ice cream and after forgetting to check the sugar content, I realized I had a product that I couldnt consume. I was refunded in full with no issues.

Lot of organic and healthy options. Wow this store was busy. They had baggers and all the lines open and still the lines were 8 deep on the registers. Coffee shop, produce, frozen, dairy, cheese dept, and a big to go section. That is to say online orders. Smaller store. Fair amount of options. I think you will like it.

This store has really changed for the good. They have gone the extra mile to keep this safe for covid-19. Also, they treat the customers well. I dont use the Amazon thing because I dont shop here that often. If you do shop here often you may want to check it out.

I’ve been going to this Whole Foods since it opened, which seems ages ago. I used to love this store, but ever since Amazon took it over the food quality and availability has gone down hill fast, not to mention the online shopping associates running around the store almost mowing me over trying fulfill online orders at light speed .Update 4/21/21: reduced my rating from two star to one, the food and service is going down hill fast, constantly sorting through spoiled food and throwing away food that went bad prematurely. Also the waiting time at the checkout is much much longer than in the past.

I ordered a TTLA sandwich at the deli and the lady was so helpful and courteous in helping me make this like I seen from Tabitha Brown review, my sandwich was awesome and I will be returning back, hopefully she can prepare my next sandwich.

Our 2-3 times a week going here. We are really not health freaks. But do love to get food that is different from the regular grocery store. We try to start as healthy as possible, but still snack on things. Why not make it healthy as possible. We always get dessert here. But lately we are kinda getting tired of almost everything in the bakery area. I dont know... But all the new cakes are not similar to what they normal have. Meaning all the new cakes are extremely sweet. Like walmart bakery sweet. Yes. Like the apple cake, salt carmel cake, there was a few more that was so sweet we just tossed it. I hope they didnt funny continue to have cake this sweet .. all in all everything is good as it always has
