I cannot say enough good things about this place. I was traveling from OKC to San Diego when I showed up on a Friday evening at 5pm with a broken shift lever on my 2010 bike. Many Harley Dealerships will not touch a bike over 10 years old. Not only did they have the part in stock, but they immediately took my bike in and made the repair. They even washed all the bugs off the bike for me. Kevin and Lou were outstanding, and I dont know who the mechanic was that made the repair, but it was done and out the door in less than an hour. The shop is beautiful and was very busy, but Kevin and Lou made me feel like my trip was the most important thing going on and gave me first class attention. Thanks to the whole team at Desert Wind Harley-Davidson.

Worked with a couple sales people over the last several months, all being awesome. Last week we stopped in and met with Ray. We had a great visit and appreciated him tuning into out special needs and circumstance. He set up another meeting on the weekend to allow us to come in and test ride a TriGlide. It went better than expected and eventually walked out owning a 2021 TriGlide!!!! Ray was very professional, not pushy and again really understood out situation and made sure that we were comfortable with our decision. Desert Wind HD is a great place to buy a bike. In my opinion, buying the bike is the easy part. Having the bike serviced and maintained is the difficult part, this is where DWHD comes through. The guys in the service dept. are prompt and communicative. I also love that they recognize me when I come in, and the lady who answers the phones is always professional and kind. Would give them 11/10 if I could. My man Curtis Mills is laid back, and obviously takes his work seriously - a great salesman for HD. Dont be a Kevin.Bought a brand new bike last year from here. This week I was told that Harley took care of me before and its just no longer the case with service. Was going to cost me $500 to get my oil changed and serviced..I asked why it was so high and Kevin was a huge help and just waved me goodbye. Literally told me word for word they used to take care of me and now its just not the case lolWent to Superstition Harley and got a full service and warranty parts handled for $380... saved over 100$ doing nothing different.I would honestly be worried to let Desert Wind work on my bike after the way Kevin conducted business. Wouldnt you?

The course and instructors are great. From there got a chance to test ride what I wanted and picked the Slim.Great experience all around. After reading several reviews seems Im not the only one that doesnt like to be forced to co.e to the dealership to get a price on a bike. Especially the attitude you know our policy its up to you. If I pay more, I will do it gladly if I get treated right. Clearly their self proclaimed number 1 dealership in AZ means they set the rules, no flexibility. Thanks Marcin for at least telling it like it is and sticking to your guns. Whats the loss of 1 customer anyway.

I been talking to Steve Mattfeld. He is a great guy, I wouldnt call him a salesman. He actually cares. As a first rider, Im not sure what to get. Steve didnt try to put me on any bike just to make a sale. He actually cares about the bike that I get as a first rider. I give Steve 100% recommendation. Any other salesman wouldnt care if Im a first rider or not But Steve actually does care.

Finally Drew he needs a raise very friendly delivery guy and never seemed rushed even after hours we still talked for a minute in my garage! I love motorcycles and I spend a lot of time in different dealerships. I have been stopping in at Desert Wind for years. I bought a Heritage Softail Classic there a couple of days ago. Michael was my salesmen. He did a great job! I have been looking for this particular style and color of bike for a long time. Michael has taken the time to keep in touch about events and inventory to help me find the bike of my dreams! Michael worked hard to get me though the process and make the deal happen. When it came to financing I worked with Justin and Kobe. I have to say without a doubt, this was the best experience I have ever had in any kind of dealership anywhere! These guys are great! The only reason this dealership got one star is because they don’t have a lower one. Total bait and switch operation. Looked into their ( pay retail deal, and got a quote from them. Told them that it was way below NADA and Kelley BB. Sand I wasn’t interested. Salesman called and said the quote was computer generated and set up an appointment for an “ appraisal “. That “ appraisal “ consisted of taking a picture of the VIN number and asking the mileage. Came back with the most insulting offer. Wholesale at best. The bike in question is in immaculate shape, dealer maintained, 2 years left on extended warranty, and they offered less than computer generated quote. Waste of my time and gas and will never deal with or recommend them again. Total low class dealership.

I purchased my first Harley and it’s used. Before I purchased it I was needing some guidance and some questions answered. I called 2 Harley dealerships and they made me feel I was wasting their time, I then called the service department at Desert Wind and spoke to Mike. He was great! He was very patient and answered all my questions and told me what to expect. I highly recommend them!

I was visiting Mesa, Arizona from North Carolina and had to make sure I got a Harley Davidson t-shirt....it’s tradition. I’ve recently realized I NEED A BIKE! We were greeted with friendly faces from every single employee in the store but Ray was amazing! I have little knowledge on bikes or riding them and in just 20 minutes he helped me narrow it down to exactly what I needed in one and had me feeling confident for when I’m ready to purchase. I absolutely love this place. The riders course was great. The instructors and staff were very helpful and friendly.

Total bait and switch. Said they had a summer event with 0% down and o% apr. I went in and wanted to look at new bikes and really liked a couple they had on the floor but was told that I didn’t want those ones and that they rode funny and my best option was a new bike. So I settled with that and low and behold they need a down payment. Totally unhappy and if when I do get paid and have my down payment I’ll be going to either local shops or superstition Harley. I will not be going there again. Curtis was cool. That’s about it.

I had one of my best buying experiences at desert wind Harley-Davidson in Mesa. They made it simple everybody was well informed. They made me feel very welcome it was one of my best buying experiences in my 62 years.

My bad for not watching the liars at the table, never again. Ill never buy another motorcycle from them. Absolutely liars, smoke and mirrors. They charged my 1k to pick up my trade and deliver my bike when I told them I would bring it but no, that wasnt disclosed. Watch your backs because they will stick it to you. Once again my bad but never again and Ill be a beacon against it.

WOW!! This place is incredible and Ray R. provided outstanding customer service. I was visiting the area for the first time so I stopped in just to pick up a shirt and chip, Ray greeted me in the parking lot and recognized I had not been there before. He explained how they do business and walked me around the dealership. I am from the PNW and we dont have anything like this dealership. I couldnt believe that Ray took the time to walk me around knowing I was there for a shirt and chip. One thing he informed of, if I purchased a bike from them, they would ship it to my house and pick up my trade for free. Again I live 1,500 miles away, I will defiantly be purchasing my next bike from Ray! Thank you for a wonderful HD dealership experience. Harley Davidson should take notes from Desert Wind as the standard of service throughout the HD brand.

I was in the riding academy here. The instructors are awesome. They are beyond patient with everyone and still find a way to make it safe and fun! I went in never riding a day in my life (except on the back) and I came out with my motorcycle license endorsement. They are fair with the grading and wont just pass anyone just because... I highly recommend them to anyone contemplating getting their motorcycle license. Special shout-out to my coaches, Andy and Albert!! My parents bought one of there Harleys here in 06 when it was Chesters. Just got to the point where I wanted a brand new vehicle. Joe the Sales Representative was very knowledgeable about pricing and accessories for all the models I was interested in. He was helpful the whole time and made sure I was happy with everything before I went to go sign papers.

Traded in my 2014 Fatboy Lo for a 2021 Electra Glide Standard. Kenny was awesome. Made the time there quick and enjoyable. Even as the night got late Kenny helped me get everything I needed to get me feeling relaxed and comfortable and on my way with my new ride.

The first write up wasnt positive at all not even deserving 1 star. I bought a Indian scout from dealership. I was charged for service that wasnt done and informed after purchase. After reaching back out to the sales manager explaining the unsafe condition that was created and being extremely displeased paying for what i did not get, management stepped up and fully reimbursed the disputed charge. No company is perfect as mistakes happen even with the best, how a company acknowledges a mistake and fixes it is equally important for good service.

I had a great experience. I am new to riding and wanted to do the Jump start program. My instructor is very knowledgeable and was very patient with me and my son. Was quite impressed with the sales staff. Will go back when Im ready to buy a motorcycle.

Just called to get a price on a pre-owned bike. Marcus, the salesman I spoke to, answered by asking me another question: How far away do you live? I answered, and he asked me if I could come in. I said probably tomorrow and once again asked once again for the price. He refused and said that theyre the number one Harley dealership in the state and that they wouldnt get the price wrong, but that I need to be there to talk numbers. Ive got no use for disingenuous sales tactics like that. Ill take my business elsewhere.

This place is ASOME! The service department is first rate! I was from out of town and they really went out of their way to get my bike towed and up and running the same day! A big thanks to Drew for taking such great care in towing my bike! Desert Wind is a must stop if your in Phoenix. Their store has a great selection and their people are great!

I usually give these guys good marks but in this situation I could not due to the fact that I scheduled a appointment two weeks in advance to have tires put on. I was assured that the tires were in stock when I made the appointment. When I arrived at 9 am on the schedule day I was told by Kevin who was assisting me that day that they did not have the tires, who by the way was not the person I spoke with on the phone when I made the appointment. I did appreciate Kevin for putting in the effort to locate my tires and personally going to another dealer to pick up the back tire but I still ended up spending 5 hours at the dealer waiting for tires to be put on. Very disappointing.

Gabriel was able to get me on the exact bike wanted and made the experience worth it. Would recommend him for your next new or used Harley. Super cool store.

I checked into this dealership to test ride an iron 883 and everything went well until I got to the purchasing experience.I was happy at first when they offered the free tires for life, as that seemed like a great deal. We agreed on price and everything was going well but here is where I was mislead. First the free tires are ONLY if you perform every service through them. The first service quoted around $600 and $400 there after. They told me if I did any of the services myself it would void the warranty. Not true under the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act!I wish I took my business to Harley Davidson of Scottsdale as they were much closer to my location, and offered a better otd price.I was attempting to get back into riding after a previous motorcycle accident, but it turned out to be quite uncomfortable.The customer service is horrible! I informed them of my riding struggles and asked if theyd offer a price to buy the bike back. The first call made it into the dealership, then after that I wasnt able to get past the receptionist, every time I was told they will call back later with a price. None of the phone calls were returned.I later traded the motorcycle into a chevy dealer, due to the employee pricing and extra incentives for the trade.

Worst experience I have ever had with any type of dealership. One star is too high, but that is as low as I can go. I found 3 bikes that I was interested in on their website. I called and was told that they were indeed available. I tried to make a deal over the phone because I live 3 hours away and wanted to make sure that it would still be there when I got there. I explained to the internet sales manager that I wanted to make sure that I didnt drive down for nothing. He assured me that if I came down the next day, that they would make it worth my time. I loaded my trade in in my truck and drove down the next morning. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a salesman. I told him what I was there for and he told me that that bike had not been there for days. It was a classic bait and switch. They knew they didnt have the bike when I called and told me they did so that I would drive down and they could try to sell me a different bike. I dont enjoy being catfished.

I came in today to meet with Logan to check out bikes. He helped me along side with Jose and Captain America to educate me since I am fairly new to the motorcycle industry. They were knowledgeable and answered all the questions I could throw at them. Definitely was a good experience during my visit.Back in June of 2019 I attended a license endorsement academy at this location. Andy, and Albert were my instructors during the course and they were amazing. The ensured that everyone was fairly attended to so nobody fell behind. They coached each individual to improve each riders skill level and always had a positive attitude and created a fun learning environment.Thank you Desert Wind for always making each time I come a great experience with your friendly staff!

They really are #1 offered my alot great deals for my first bike. They even delivered it for free to my door. Delivery guy Drewwas awesome too.

The dealership was clean and welcoming with a large selection of new and used bikes. Andres was an amazing help in picking out the exact bike I wanted and was extremely friendly the entire time through despite me showing up so late. Drew was also very helpful delivering my new bike and picking up my trade in so late at night.

Salesmen couldnt even let me get through the door, I understand thats what they do, but sometimes people just want a simple hey welcome to HD, let me know if I can help you at all (looking for 2nd bike to cruise long trips) I wanted to walk myself around and spend my own time looking at what I wanted... I got leashed around and told what I should look at. The 2 stars shares alongside my previous visit, not sure Ill give them a 3rd chance. Plenty of other places to buy. Thanks but no thanks...
