Wonderful advice on my heirloom quilt repair. While I did not think of this solution the lady helping me did.π.I needed to repair quilts binding and went to the Mesa location in search of a Kona solid for the repair. Found a great match but her advice was to make a new binding leaving the old (25+ years old) one in place. Cover it with the new fabric she advised. This way the old binding would puff up the new one and provide the stability I needed. Why I didnt think of it... Dumb! And I can do it all by machine with only a little hand finishing. Woo woo!
They have an amazing assortment of accessories and everything I could ever need for my Janome. Their machine tables are spectacular and I am looking forward to purchasing one when I am able. Customer service was perfect too!
Picked up the machine today. Wont use it until the weekend. The problem was the machine was worked on sometime back and was not used for many months. I was informed that the machine required periodic use even if its just plugged in and cycled for a few minutes. The machine seized up from lack of use. The best thing is, Im getting smarter every day. Not their fault.
My favorite quilt shop. Great selection, prices and customer service. I love they staff the cutting table. No flagging someone down to cut fabric for you.
Well a mask is mandatory. They were very nice but couldnt fix my machines which were free to me. They didnt have any use for them even for parts so I donated them to a thrift store. The people were very nice though and the store looked like it was stocked of lots of sewing machines and things you need for sewing. One of these days Ill have to go back just to look around.
I love the staff they are so helpful! I just bought a Janome sewing machine from them and it was a great experience! Absolutely no pressure to up sell or to purchase a certain brand. They take their time with you and answer questions. And now I get 20% off notions for a lifetime for purchasing a machine from them!
Love going to Mulqueens! They bring you into their family whenever you are there! Its like Disneyland for quilting/embroidery, and much more! My sister, mom and I begin many Saturdays at Mulqueens! Very knowledgeable and will demo the machines, show you new ideas, etc. Cant wait to go back after payday!!
I purchased fabrics for face coverings and they are high quality, beautiful colors, and hold up very well. Shipping is very fast and prices are great!
George in service went above and beyond the call of duty, and help me find the exact part I needed for my wifes Husqvarna embroidery machine. While I was there Siobhan in sales showed us the new Luminaire 2 Innov-is XP2 this machine is so Amazing, I went back the next day and purchased it.Bottom line: for the best service, best in sales and the best price come here and remember: Buy It Nice or Buy It Twice!
I am so pleased with the service here. I have been here on several occasions, they have helped me troubleshoot an issue with my machine and then I finally brought it in for service. I was pleasantly surprised when my machine was returned to me in perfect condition, working well, and I was charged the price quoted. They didnβt try and upsell any new items for my machine, and had it ready quickly. Iβm looking forward to bringing my budding seamstress so she can check it out!
Henrys Vaccum and Sewing Machine Repair rates a 10 out of 10 in my opinion. Excellent service, reasonable pricing, and staff was very personable. I highly recommend them.
Best price in town for fabric, accessories, and machines. Really helpful people. The employees seem to love their jobs. I spoke to one lady and she said they even pay for meals for their employees. Knowing that this family owned business cares for their employees makes me want to support them more than larger stores. This store has a large selection of fabric. Wish it was closer to me so that I can visit. Thanks for this last weeks live sale and presentations. I really enjoyed it since it was my first time attending one of these events. And congrats on the 44 years.
So many wonderful fabrics! It was kinder and gentler experience than going to Joanns. :)
I went there because they are a Brother dealership, I had a question about my machine and everyone was rude. Whats the deal with that? It was a simple question. I honestly felt that because I didnt buy my machine from them, that I wasnt worth the time or effort. Such a shame. Hopefully they treat their customers who purchase machines much better. They lost my business today. What a bummer.
What a hidden treasure! Ive been in the area off and on for 5 years, but didnt know about Mulqueens. I needed routine service for my Bernina sewing machine and I found this establishment. The sewing machine tech was very friendly and helpful. The sign in system was smooth and easy. Then it took a minute to walk around the store. It was jammed full of all kinds of wonderful sewing machines and fabrics and quilting and embroidery supplies. Im glad I found this place. Ill come back again!
The Mulqueens staff was quite friendly at this location the first time I visited. However, I just called to complain about the polyester thread I was sold and asked for the manager as I thought it was he who sold it to me when I bought my new Brother. I spent thousands of dollars and a manager recommended I buy quality thread. After we straightened out the misunderstanding and I explained my problem he was quite confrontational saying his machine sewed fine with it. That was not the issue as the thread shed as it came off the spool not when it was sewn. In my research, I have learned I have come to understand cotton is best used with cotton as it shrinks with the fabric. I communicated this to him. He asked if all the quilts in his store were done wrong then. Again, being confrontational. I kept asking him why he was being so confrontational. He basically hung up on me. I recommend you not deal with him and speak with another staff member. The owners, need to speak with him about customer complaints and service, in my opinion.
My wifes sewing machine had been needing a service for a while. She was so excited to find this independently owned repair center, she really wanted the personal experience. So yesterday, my wife, daughter and I loaded in the car and drove 40 minutes from West Tempe to East Mesa to pick up the machine my wife had dropped off.The person to welcome us was rude and angry. She barked at my wife to pay, and when my wife asked to go over the machine first, she raised her tone and started scolding my wife, THATS PART OF THE SERVICE, ISNT IT? she scolded.I looked at her name tag to complain... Bernie Mulqueen. This a-hole is one of the owners! We had brought an extra $100 to stock up on some notions and stuff, but she was being super sweet to the obvious regulars while we waited to get the machine back, and she was continuously rude to us. I have no idea how they get regulars if they treat new customers like this.We will NEVER be back and every sewing group we know will know why.And if there is one thing we dont like about the machine service, we wont be back, well be disputing the charges!!!Ps. We had fun spending the extra hundred dollars on notions at Jo-Anns.I also want to add that if you scroll through the reviews of this place, there are repeated one star reviews with the same complaint and the Mulqueens responding with excuses of why they were justified in being rude. We were quite, respectful and followed the rules. She was rude FOR NO REASON to an entire family that was excited to go shopping.
Wonderful family run business. Store has a great variety of products both in store and online. Excellent prices. Staff is very knowledgeable.
I would love to be a regular patron here, I can walk there from my home. But Ive only been here twice and both times all staff seemed to be very busy and preoccupied and I only had a simple question. I think Ill just be an occasional customer.
Locally family owned business. great selection of fabric at good price point. Big selection of machines with staff that knows how to use them, My go-to place for sewing needs
Mulqueen is the best place to buy machines, fabrics and many other items. I highly recommend Mulqueen for all your sewing, embroidery, & quilting needs. Just got the Janome MC 550e and Im loving it! Great family too!
I have been shopping at Mulqueen for a few years after a co- workers suggestion. I have always wanted to try embroidery, needed self- threading machine. purchased a Brother sewing machine replacing my 25 year old white. Siobhan was extremely helpful in determining what l really needed to meet my sewing needs. Sewing machines had changed so much! The quality of fabric is great! Always have the supplies/ notions that l am looking for and if not have ordered it. Purchased a kangaroo chair COVID summer, getting the color l wanted!! Did not have to settle :) Slowly forming a sewing room, some day I will get an embroidery machine, serger, and cover stitch.
Best quilt store in town! This Place is huge! Their staff are super kind and have answers for all my questions. Went in with my machine to get service done and the gentleman at the front was super helpful. I just got my machine back and didnt recognize it, it was so clean! Will be back to make a Christmas Wishlist!
Great family owned business. So many fabrics, and so much more. Great customer service and knowledgeable staff. Canβt wait to visit again when Iβm in Arizona again.
Love my new embroidery machine. Very friendly and caring. Everything you need is there. Thank you
Nancy, Thank you for helping me pick out fabric for a Quilt. New Baby on its way Boy for a friend, Its Great you are also Helpful.
I stopped in at this store for the first time this morning and couldnt believe the size of the place and the great selection of sewing machines. I wanted to take every one of them home! This place has everything youll ever need for sewing. The staff was fantastic and the available deals were incredible. I am hooked on this place after just one visit and will do all of my sewing shopping here. I live over one hour away but who cares! Its totally worth the trip. I even hugged the young lady that helped me. I believe her name was Kim. Such a sweet person and very helpful. Thank you for my new Janome 6700P! I took it out of the box and cant stop staring at it.UPDATE: I recently completed my first quilt on my Janome 6700P and I couldnt be more proud of how it turned out. What a great sewing machine! I was also given a check for my birthday and the only place I wanted to spend it was at Mulqueens.UPDATE 6/23/20:I wanted to update my post with a recent review of Mulqueens. I visited the store today and was very happy to see the employees/owners taking the Corona virus serious and requiring that all employees and visitors to the store wear masks. They were also limiting the number of people allowed into the store at a time. I greatly appreciate you guys caring enough to keep us all safe.I want to really drive home the fact that this store along with the owners and employees are phenomenal. This is the type of business that you want to see around forever. These people are knowledgeable, friendly, generous, and genuine in everything that they do. YOU GUYS ARE GREAT!If you are looking for that special place with all of your sewing needs, I urge you to stop in at Mulqueens. You wont be disappointed, and youll probably leave with several bags of great purchases.
I went in to get my machine serviced. They want to charge half of what the machine costs new, so I asked about buying a new machine. I explained that I cannot spend a lot of money on it and they got rather upset and disrespectful. Update: in re: owners response, your employees are pocketing money then, because they told me $179 plus parts, even if the service doesnt fix the problem. The one star was about the condescending employees I interacted with. I do understand that you get what you pay for, but why do I have to jump from a Ford Focus to a Lamborghini. There is another concept you need to understand, as well. Buying beyond my need is a waste of my money.
The few time I have gone to this store always angry bitter workers. It seems they only want certain type of customers or what. I have some questions and they just walk away. Last time i walked in to see about getting my sewing machine services and everyone that worked there seemed to have a some invisible poop under their nose because that is what all their faces showed. Mad and angry. I love the selection the stores offers but will not go back to such bad service and such nasty staff.
Have always gotten great service and knowledgement....Never treated as a stranger. They are full of information whether it be fabric or machine. Truly a one stop shop! THANK YOU
Our experience last week at Mulqueen was awful. I would not recommend this store to any of my friends, family or neighbors. We are a military family and I had all my family here visiting from Utah, Co, and AZ, we wanted to buy four big industrial sewing machines to start a side business for quilting. We were so turned off, when we enter the store they demanded we were mask in a very militant way. I have breathing issues and had my mask on but slightly under my nose so I could breath and again a man walks by and demanded I pull my mash up over my nose to my eyes, he never looked at me or turned around just kept walking. That was it, we all left the store they were so rude and militant. I was shocked!! I was just with my family at Walmart, Safeway, Lowes, other sewing stores, restaurants, etc. running around all day and not one of those places demanded we were a mask or not. Unbelievable, I will never shop there again, they missed out on a big purchase that day!! I think they took it way too far.RESPONSE TO STORE REPLY: Once again as I read your reviews, your employees and response to my review it just simply rude, I just expected more out of a family owned business (especially a Military based store) I am military too and durning these hard times have made it my duty too support and shop at family owed business .... Its not about the mask!!Its how we were treated, and it looks like we are not alone. Its pretty simple really..... Be kind, greet people with a smile, maybe some lessons in being professional and someone who can respond to your reviews with customers is always right. (Maybe even I am sorry that happen to you in my store.....) That would go a long way. Thank You!! for confirming to me I will not shop there again or my family and friends.UPDATE: Wow! Thank you Ken for your update, but you still are not getting it, and it is very simple as you keep saying ..... I am old and in the category of being safe as you simply keep putting it. Once again it isnt about the mask or how you wear it, as you keep trying to make it about. ITS ABOUT CUSTOMER CARE AND HOW YOU TREAT OTHERS. We had our mask with us and happy to wear them. If I need to make it more clear to you, my mask was on and covering my nose holes, but your employee rushed by so rudely and militant about how he thought it should be on, maybe up under my eyes so I could not see, who knows. Simply be Kind.... As a business owner myself its hard to believe you will banter back and forth with me like this, a simple sorry goes a long way. I am really upset about this, I have never been treat worse. Again, Please note it isnt about wearing the mask or not or how to wear it. This is so unprofessional I find it very hard to believe or understand. Thanks for confirming again how you run your store and how you treat your customers.
LOVE this place!!! Such an awesome variety of quilting cotton fabric in stock and the price is definitely a steal for the quality of material. Staff is extremely nice and very knowledgeable. So much better than all of the Joanns stores in the valley (and Ive been to the majority of them). Highly recommend the mesa location and guaranteed to return to purchaw more products.
I called the Tempe location and was rudely told they didnβt have any Juki machines and wouldnβt until March. I called the Mesa location and was told they had plenty of machines to try. I asked if I needed an appointment and was told to come by any time. I arrived at 10:06AM to three ladies behind the counter chatting. I asked for assistance and the lady told me she would see if anyone could help but didnβt sound confident. I was aggressively told by Siobhan they didnβt have any machines while she walked past where I was sitting. I explained I was interested in ordering a machine. She walked off. That was the extent of the service and assistance I received. I waited for 25 minutes AT THE MACHINE. I went to the owner who was helping someone who arrived AFTER I did, stating I knew he was busy but I had been waiting quite some time and was seeking assistance. He said he was expecting his brother to arrive soon. The e-commerce employee was dispatched to assist. She is a lovely young lady who knew absolutely nothing about the machines. 25 minutes later Siobhan came over to show me the machine. I had planned to buy this machine locally to support a local family business. I also thought it would be important to have access to service if that might be needed in the future. I completely lost my temper at how I was treated and the complete disregard for my time and resources. I wasted 2 hours trying to preorder the sewing machine. The owner sarcastically responded that he was sorry they were busy. I will happily buy the machine on-line for a cheaper price.
All of the staff and owners of Mulquenss are so helpful and enjoyable to work with. No matter what sewing or embroidery needs that you have or if you are just interested in learning more, I totally recomment Mulqueens Sewing Center. The have a wonderful family business that is well worth your support ---- you will spend hours there, enjoying the products but also creating friends with staff and the Mulqueen family. Thank you all!
I have shopped here for 35+ years and never had a bad experience!! When a business is family owned they put a lot of love and care into it. His sons are wonderful citizens and an asset to our communities. PS: they carry a vast array of sewing supplies, fabrics and machines. If you dont find what you want, just ask them to get it for you and they sure will try.
Always helpful and they have EVERYTHING!
Great selection. Good service. Good price on item that I needed. Wish I would have more time to pick up fabric!
Wonderful, very helpful and new their merchant.
Had to take 1 machine back 3 times and another machine 2 times! The service guy said Singers are JUNK! You need to buy a good machine!
My grandmother recently passed away, and my mother decided to give my daughter the sewing machine my grandmother had used for years. She took it to Mulqueen to ensure it was ready to go for my daughter, then after paying for the work, immediately brought it 500 miles to our home in California to give it to her.We took off all the packaging and plastic wrap that Mulqueen used to pack the machine, set it up, and IT WAS BROKEN. I had to spend $70 more on this basic machine to get it repaired here so that it would work properly. My mother went back to Mulqueen today to get her money back, and they refused. They told her she should have brought the machine back so they could take a 2nd try at getting it right. They had their chance. Unbelievable.Strongly recommend using a different shop for your repair needs.
Great family run business! Kind courteous & so helpful! Huge selection of fabric!
First time in the store! Their selection is amazing! The employees are so friendly and they are so helpful. Highly recommend Mulqueens!
My first time going and I was amazed by their selection! Much bigger than what it appears on the outside. The staff was nice and helpful. Will most likely be coming here for my fabrics now :)
I inherited a brother sewing machine from my mother. In my attempt to thread the needle I was unable to find the βtake up leverβ. I called this shop, and the woman walked me thru how to get the lever to at the top by simply turning a dial to raise Ruthβs needle. I give this shop 5 stars because she was so helpful and never made me feel silly. Now I hope I remember how to sew.
Great prices, friendly and great customer service, large selection, Love this place.
I was at McQueen this afternoon to drop off my Meile vacuum for repair, under warranty, and was told βordinarily we do, but our repair guy is afraid that the air inside the canister might be contaminated with Covid β. The lady actually said that with a straight face! I had to laugh. Apparently theyβre not hurting for business! I am a retired nurse, trust me, any virus needs a living host. It can rest on a solid surface for maybe 72 hours, and become weaker by the hour. It cannot just hang around in the air space of a vacuum cleaner waiting for a human host! That is just pure paranoid fabrication! Must be out of the Trump q-non book of rumors! Clearly I wonβt be returning to do any further business with McQueen store in Mesa, AZ. Iβm betting that they never show this review; canβt let people see who they really are because itβs bad for business.
Friendly staff and great price and a huge variety of products and fabric.
Repair service is excellent, however, you must wait forever to be complete and put up with an attitude of βtake it or leave itβ when questioning outrageous repair charges. I took it and went to Bernita Connection in Phoenix where service was pleasant and charges were 1/3 of Mulqueen!!.This was my second visit to Mulqueen - nothing changed.
I went there to look at buying a machine, which was currently on sale. And if you buy a machine at Mulqueen, you get a 20% discount on other items for life.
Best sewing, quilting, machine and fabric plus supply store around!! Accuquilt GO, Gammil, cutters, tools galore. Quilters cotton like 6.95 a yd!!
Didnt have what I needed but still love going there. Anyone who sews/wants to sew will always find something one cant live without.π
Wonderful store, staff is always friendly and willing to help.
Didnt have much in hand quilting thread had to go to another quilt store to buy it.
Always have a positive experiences here!
They always cut straight, have pretty much anything you could want. Quality fabric. Very friendly staff.
So excited about my new machine!! They were very friendly and very fast and I got to go home with my new innovis brother embroidery machine! Got a great deal!!
I am always able to find what I need.
So organized, very helpful friendly staff, they have everything and more. For Covid 19 you need an appointment from their website and masks are required. Felt safe.
Great! Going to fix my machine as fast as they can!
Great place to shop.
OK, I can understand being busy but with so many people out of work you would think you could staff up so a service on a sewing machine doesnβt take four weeks. The guy at the service desk dropped that on me like it was perfectly normal and no big deal. Ridiculous.
I have bought many sewing machines from the Mulqueen family and have ALWAYS been shown GREAT customer service from all of them. I look forward to coming to the store monthly for the Super Saturday and seeing the new fabrics. Bernie and Jackie are AWESOME!
By far my favorite quilting store to visit!
I am thrilled with the service here! They have bent over backwards for me and given me honest feedback about equipment. I will most definitely be going back and taking sewing lessons there. Their fabric room has THE BEST selection of quilting fabric in town. The staff and owners are just really nice. Nice counts!
VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE AS DESCRIBED WILL BUY MORE THANKS
Went to this store yesterday 08/09/2020. Appointment set-up for 08/08/2020 via on-line, apps set up for 2pm, 6 ladies. So we show up & the lady that greats you behind the counter had a big attitude. For starters, the had sanitizer . To of my friends even before this lady barked at us about the hand sanitizer, they had been getting the sanitizer. Then she barked at us appt Appointment. We explained that we had one, & gave her the name. Meanwhile the lady that set up the Appointment came in & gave her more info. Your staff member very firm & nastily said that no appt in the computer & that yall
Me and my wife worked with Pam she was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to discuss with us all of our options and the staggering amount of features available. Sewing machines are not inexpensive by nature but she truly understood the value of the products she was offering and helped us into a machine that fit our needs perfectly. We will absolutely be returning to see her specifically when itβs time for an upgrade.
Wonderful experience. I am working with Kim as the machine I wanted was ordered and she called me when the machine arrived and I am picking up today.π my contact has been over the phone & I am so impressed. She did a lot of work without even meeting me. She called when said she would and totally made me feel special. Because of Kim, I am buying my sewing machine from Mulqueens, despite it is a long drive from my home. Thank you Kim! Kim understands what customer service is all about. .
I have been shopping at Mulqueenβs for over 18 years. I have purchased two sewing machines through them.Whenever I need a repair they are quick and efficient and stand by their work. Their staff is excellent they will take time to answer questions and even sit down and show you how to do something on their machines.Their classes are always informative and taught by knowledgeable people.Thank you Mulqueenβs for providing a great place to shop.
My family and I have been buying sewing machines, fabric, notions, and taking classes from the Mulqueens for like 20 years. They are a fantastic family and wonderful business owners. They really know how to take care of their customers and make them feel like family. One of the best stores in town!
My order was filled, shipped and arrived quickly. Very pleased.
Ive always loved this store, but now have one more over-and-above reason to say service is amazing. I was attending a software/embroidery class and someone noticed a car in the parking lot with a flat tire (mine). Anyway, two wonderful guys (Gerry and Ronnie) changed my tire for me and let me go back to class. Doesnt get better than that!! Kudos to people who look out for others, and thanks to the amazing family/staff here at Mulqueens.
Im visiting from Mn. Really enjoyed this shop. They have a huge variety of fabrics which they sell in 1 yard or greater lengths....not too many fat quarters which is disappointing for me as I love fat quarters. Fabulous selection of sewing machines, parts and accessories and the staff was very helpful in getting me the foot that I needed. Also a wonderful selection of kits and pre cuts. Great shop
I love this place. I have been buying from them at least 40 years. Keith is a wonderful person and he aims to please every time. I wonβt buy from anyone else, ever. They are the kind of people and business that everyone should strive to be like. Keep up the fantastic workπ This is how you stay in business. Anyone who have had a bad experience, try again.
The sales people are friendly and very knowledgeable. I am a snowbird . However, last January, AFTER having purchased a Brother Dream Maker machine I was told I couldnβt take a class until the middle of March! That gave me 6 weeks of stumbling around trying to learn to use an embroidery machine on my own. I had a week and one-half after the class to benefit from the class. No refund on machine, no apology, no additional anything for their not being able to provide the promised service in a timely manner.Nice selection of quilting material and supplies.
Always look forward to go to Mulqueenβs. The family and employees are always so pleasant. The inventory is great and you are able to get help when needed.
I love Mulqueen! They have a large selection of fabric which most of it is priced under $7/yard. If you know anything about fabric you know that it can be very expensive and you know that it adds up fast. They also have a great selection of sewing machines with a knowledgeable staff. I went to Mulqueen when researching a new machine. A very nice lady sat down with me and showed me all the features of the machine I wanted. She also was also able to answer questions I had about a brand that Mulqueen does not carry so I could compare the two machines. The only issue I see with the store is that it is too small. They need more room for all that fabric. :-)Whenever I start a new quilt I visit Mulqueen first!
I have been going to Mulqueens for many years. I have purchased 3 sewing machines and a scan n cut over the years. I have always been treated okay. I wanted to give a shout out to Janice, I hope I hot her name right. Yesterday she helped me so much and saved me from losing my machine to several weeks of service. Thank you
Mulqueen is the best for all your sewing needs
I love this shop. I have bought 4 machines here now over the years. They are the nicest most knowledgeable staff of any sewing machine center. Make sure to shop here to keep this family owned business going for a long time to come.
We had an excellent customer service experience with Darren Mulqueen! My husband and I were looking for a specific Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen cabinet and this store had the last one we could find on the west coast. We ended up buying the cabinet and the Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen long arm machine for a great deal! And brought it all the way home to San Diego. We are new life long customers. Thank you, Darren!
I love Mulqueens!!!! The staff and Mulqueen family are very friendly and treat you like family! I drive close to 45 min and itβs worth it for the selection and customer service!!! I love how diverse the class selection is too. Always something new to learn from young to old! My 10 year old is always inspired when we go into the Mesa location.
So many offers to help me that l felt like l was a valued customer. Selection are great as always! Prices are good. I am excited about there new location in late September or early October.
I took in my 55 year-old Singer for service, and repair of a broken piece. Ronny explained that parts are no longer made for these old machines. He said he would call I. A couple of days and let me know if the broken piece could be reattached. He called 2 days later with good news and a price. Said they would call in a day or 2 when the machine was ready. Called the next day. Very friendly, very helpful, and very understanding of how much I enjoy my Singer because it was my mothers and because it can handle heavy fabric with ease. I highly recommend this shop if you need a machine serviced or are looking for a machine. They have quite a few of the old sturdy machines.that have been refurbished for sale.
Mulqueens is amazing! They have every kind of sewing machine you can imagine! I took a class at their Tempe location, and the teacher was knowledgeable and friendly. It left me feeling confident in the skills I learned.
This store is huge! Well worth a stop. Large assortment of notions. Nice fabric at good prices. Clean store friendly staff.
Purchased my Brother Embroidery Machine here The family owned business is always very friendly and helpful every time I go in there.
These guys are great! They fixed my machine in just two days! I am so grateful for their repair department! And the Mulqueen brothers are each so helpful, encouraging, and knowledgeable!
All of the employees I encountered were very rude and were completely disrespectful in a general sense. I sent my husband to one of the repair shops that my warranty with my carpet cleaner was with. (Limited to 3 locations) this one being the closest we tried it out. After almost 3 weeks of waiting I called to check the status, I was rudely told that they would call when it was ready. Hoover sent a whole new cleaner because they did not make the parts for mine anymore. I went home to find out this vacuum was not working properly either. I go back to this store to figure out whatβs wrong and the employee said it was working fine and that he doesnβt even get paid enough to service Hoovers!? I am now having to go further for something that a professional had a sour attitude about that had nothing to do with me. Terrible service. do not recommend this place whatsoever.
Mulqueens is a great store to shop for quilting fabric, tools, machines and patterns. You cannot beat the prices!
Their customer service is absolutely terrible. Too many men wrapped up in their own egos. They have no idea of good customer service and I have shopped there more than 20 years.
First time to visit your website. I found it EXTREMELY user friendly, well organized and up to date on information. Iβm looking forward to using the services and classes offered as well as shopping for fabric and any other sewing/quilting supplies.
You dont get a friendlier or more knowledgeable staff - and if they dont know something, they find a coworker who does. You can tell they all feel like family working together! Great selection of machines, and every sewing notion you could dream of. Fabric is geared mostly toward quilting cottons - HUGE variety of that, but not as much as far as apparel fabric goes. They didnt carry the type of bobbin thread that works well in my embroidery machine, but they bent over backwards to try and help.
Mulqueens has a complete line of sewing and quilting supplies. Also a large amount of fabrics and sewing machines. They offer sewing classes and the service is great. Everything is neatly arranged for your shopping convenience.
A great family-owned shop! Huge selection of machines and fabric. Helpful and friendly staff.
Always a pleasant experience, helpful staff, great family atmosphere, whether picking up supplies or attending a class, one of my favorite places to visit.
Friendly staff
First time shopping at Mulqueens and loved that the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great selection of fabric, patterns, thread, sewing machines and more. I will definitely be back!
Theyre always busy so go in with patience you might have to wait your turn. I dont know another store that carries more inventory than they do so theres lots of choices and quality merchandise. also family owned and operated so they care and want to give good service.
Their hours 10 - 4 make it impossible for those with jobs and children to shop at their store. Absolutely ridiculous.
