I can’t say enough good about Gold Dog tents! Jim, the owner is so helpful and a really great guy. The tent is very high-quality. It’s so comfortable and easy to set up and down. Even for us senior citizens! We feel safe since it is off the ground and away from animals. I highly recommend Gold Dog tents to anyone.

Seller helped me with mounting and setting up the tent and had everything ready for me by the time i made my drive to Mesa. I couldnt ask for a better experience, definitely a service you wouldnt get at any other store. Update: after multiple trips to Bartlett Lake, fishing adventures, heavy rain and high winds- STILL 10 STARS! After a lot of research we chose Golddog Tents for our rooftop tent. It is a local veteran owned, direct to consumer business that constantly strives for the best quality product and experience for active people who love the outdoors . We got the Kaibab because of it’s exceptional design, size, the annex, many great details and durability for a competitive price. As Alaskans who winter in Arizona, we needed a well made durable set up that would work for 4000 mile roadtrips, rough country and extreme weather conditions. It also had to be a straight forward set up that was doable for 2 senior citizens (72 & 65) Highly, recommend Golddog Tents. Be sure you are comfortable climbing ladders and know what setting up a rooftop tent involves before buying. As always, do your own research, climb into and out of a rooftop tent to know if that is what you want. And best pro tip of all- take your time and set up camp for the first time at home!

When I decided to buy a rooftop tent I wanted to buy local. I found Jims company online. I called and he took the time to answer any questions that I had. Little did I know that was just the beginning of his great service. Jim set up appointment so I could see his tents and after I bought he helped me set it up . Great product. High quality materials. Well designed. Tent worked flawlessly and set up with ease. Very comfortable mattress and high quality components are obvious throughout. My only suggestion would be to have 2 different adapters for the LED light plug in (not just a 12 volt cigarette lighter male end, but also a standard USB plug in). Many times, I don’t have the vehicle hitched to the trailer and it would be convenient to plug the LED lights into a charging block, instead of having the stretch it to the Jeep. Just my $.02.After talking with the owner, he advised me they are looking into that option. Good customer service too!

So I can honestly say I shopped around a lot for these over the last 3 months. And I was ready to pull the trigger on another brand simply because of one feature. Well come to find out the light suppression in Golddogs is as good as the competitor who just came out with it this year... I also cant say enough about Jim down at Golddog. He was honest, precise and the genuine article. Their tents are better in almost every way compared to their competitors and they have them in stock almost all the time! An added bonus they are a local shop here in Arizona. The quality of the material and the warranty alone make their product amazing. If you are looking around for a roof top tent stop down at Golddog and speak with Him like I did. I am glad I made the decision to go with Golddog. Jim is an amazing person!Solid tent I am so glad I purchased from him.Walked me through and showed me how to use the tent properly. Free install, veteran owned.If I ever need to purchase another tent it will be a GoldDog. My only con would be its a tad taller then other tents I’ve seen, but it’s not a hard shell which are pretty compact. The 3” memory foam, condensation mat, and thick diamond plate floor. Totally make up for it.Ha and it comes with an annex which is super handy can serve as a changing room or can put a cot on each side of ladder and it’s pretty much another tent!Highly recommended super friendly knowledgeable dude!Jim your the man!

I bought the Kaibob tent and canopy for my truck. I mounted it on a Yakima rack and HD bars in my pickup bed.Jim is great to deal with and was really helpful with the setup. The tent and canopy are excellent quality and easy to use. The attention to detail with the tent makes it a superior product when compared to other brands. Having the business local to me is an added bonus.

Great products and great people running the company. Ive had my Gold Dog for about 2 years now and have taken it out countless times. Its seen every weather you can imagine and has held up amazingly. Ive also noticed far less condonation in the inside compared to other tents Ive been around. The owner is always responsive and happy to help. These tents are awesome! When compared with other brand-name tents of similar design I found the golddog kaibab to be more robust in terms of materials and features. Also some other tents keep adding costs by offering add-ons. From boot bags, extra thick cushioning, annex room, led lights and more, golddog tents offer all the goodies at a lower price point than similar tents. Picked up the kaibab earlier this year and absolutely love it. It is easy to set up and is of excellent quality. I looked at other tents but the construction of this tent for the price point hit the nail on the head . I have used it 5 times this year and and still in love with it.
