Stay away from this place they will steal your money. Brought my car in for knocking noise in engin was charged $680.00 when I got the car back still had noise. So brought it back in had the car two weeks said kia was going to replace engin got car back no change. He said the frame had a Crack thats why the knocking noise. Kia would not alow a third party to install an engin they warranted. And a cracked frame would not relate to an engin noise. He said he would refund the money. When I got there said he would only refund 300.00. Its been three weeks cant catch him at the shop been there 15 times. Wont return calls.still havent got refund. Chris is the owner he is a lier dont believe a word he says

My tire went flat and I parked in their parking lot to change it. As I was lifting my car with the jack someone came out with an impact driver and offered to help with the lug nuts. It was a hot day and he really helped me, making my tire change much easier. Thank you!

I came in to have my brakes checked based on the mileage on the car and I fully expected that I would need a brake job. They let me know that my brakes looked great and that there was no reason to replace my brakes at this point. I really appreciate the fact that they were honest with me instead of selling me new brakes that I did not need. I will definitely come back here for any mechanical needs.

I have read other reviews and feel compelled to finally write one myself. Apologies for length, but if you want straight scoop on this shop, its worth the read. I am neither friend or relative and, in fact, there was a time when I was going to write a 0-1 star scathing review.My son bought a rebuilt 76 Ford Elite from Chris (the owner) over a year ago. It was my sons first own car. Chris treated him wonderfully, even offering my son both teaching time and discount if he ever needed to bring the car in for repair. As the vehicle was over 35 years old (though less than 50g miles!), there were some things that went wrong with it soon after my son brought the car home. Chris was fantastic about telling my son to bring it in and hed repair it, most of the time at little or no cost, if it was something he had missed fixing prior to sale. With regard to my sons car, we would have given Top Line & Chris 5+ stars. I even stopped taking our family vehicles into our previous long-time mechanic and started servicing them with Top Line, which is not close to where we live.After a few services and couple of months later, I was told I needed a major repair on one of our family vehicles. Because I felt Chris had treated my son incredibly and had done some cost-effective minor repairs for me, I told him to go ahead with the major repair. Shortly thereafter, a second, even more major (unrelated) repair was necessary. Multiple problems occurred as a result of the second repair, creating great frustration. I demanded Top Line continue to address the problem until it was resolved. At one point, Chris said he had done everything he could and that maybe we should just part company. It should be noted that he continued to treat my son with courtesy and respect.I did not let the issue with my car go, even though I was angry and it would have been easier to just take the loss, bite the bullet, and go have my previous mechanic fix the problem. Eventually, Top Lines previous lead mechanic (who I am very sorry is no longer there) figured out the issue and was able to resolve it (which turned out NOT to be a Top Line diagnostic issue at all, but rather a manufacturers mislabeling). Chris reached out to me (which he did not have to do), apologized for all my inconvenience and made the situation right. He provided compensatory service and really proved to me he was a stand-up guy with plenty of integrity. He still treats my son with respect and availability. I probably should give him a 5 for the way he resolved the issue, but I had to take one star for being in that situation in the first place.

Both my wife and i have been going to this place for maintenance work for years. Chris, the owner, is a great guy whose always willing to go the extra mile for his customers. Not once have I’ve had a bad customer service experience nor issues with the mechanical services provided.

Recently I found my engine needing to be replaced. I brought my van in at 3 pm on a Saturday. Chris worked with me late into Saturday night to find the best option. He gave me choices and found me a rebuilt engine with a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty. Since I was having my engine fixed, I asked them to fix my drivers side window while they were at it. I had my car back by Wednesday (4 days later) in perfect working order. This is a very honest auto shop. I know a bit about cars and I am really impressed with the turn around time for repairs. This is a good shop that can be trusted.

Ive been taking my car here since they opened and am always satisfied with the results. I trust Top Line Auto and their staff and find it relieving that there are honest mechanics so close to home. The guys always offer options if they find things wrong with your car and do not pressure you to use their services alone. From time to time it does take longer than quoted to get your car back from services, maybe 15-30 minutes extra but this is not a bother to me at all. Thanks Guys!

This place is horrible. I took my car there for a battery or alternator Issue. And they tried to tell me something was wrong with my steering column. They must’ve thought I didn’t no anything about cars and tried to charge 650 to replace somethings that wasn’t broke. As I was leaving there shop another Customer told me she paid 900 and they scammed her and didn’t do any work she needed done. Once told Then i was taking my car some where else the from desk personnel got a attitude. I later got my car for fixxed120 in labor at another place. Please don’t waste your time.

Chris and his receptionist Ron are scam artist, you take your car in for one things and they make up that other things are wrong with it, over charge you and only fix the minimal things to get you out of there with same problem a couple days later, Chris always comes out with a speech that he’s from the Midwest and that he guarantee’s work or your money back and to look at all the vehicles I’m front of his business from so much work he has. He never stands behind his money back guarantee. If you notice in front of his business i think a friend of his just stores cars there in front to make it look busy you will see one set of cars in front parked one day and then they never go into garage, then the next day it’s a whole new set of cars. Please don’t take your car here unless you want to be ripped off. The attorney general should be knocking on his door pretty soon.

I brought my vehicle in to have it looked at while visiting some relatives. The employees are friendly and easy to work with. I was given several options as to what needed to be done on my vehicle. I am very happy with the people that helped me and the mechanic(s) who stayed after 5 pm (on a Friday) to complete the job. They knew that I had business to attend to over the weekend and they let me know that they would be able to complete the job, so that I could make it back home safely.

Hands down the most honest and fair priced shop in the valley. They know what theyre doing, it always gets done quick and for the best price. Chris is the man! Telling all my friends and family about this place and never going to a different mechanic again.

I would give a zero if I could. They said they could fix the transmission on my Buick and we got it under warranty with them so we took it back after it started slipping again. At first they seem to be trying to work to fix the problem but the transmission would start leaking and slipping again soon after so I would take it back because of the warranty. They started holding my car weeks at a time so I had no way around as they would offer a loaner just to tell me its unavailable or broken. I ended up having to buy another car as they were holding my car too long and I couldnt rely on other to get me work and doctor appointments! They would say the were working on it but it also came back in the same condition as before or worse. And one of the last time I brought it to them my licence plate got switched and I had an extra one in my front seat. They deny involvement but there was no other place my car was unattended and unlocked for someone to both replace my plate and place another inside the car! They are not trustworthy here at all. It might not be the owner behind my problem with them but they need to buckle down on their workers if this is whats happening at their shop! I would go somewhere and dont believe them when they say they can fix a transmission.

Chris and the rest of the team at Top Line have always gone out of their way to help me out; I have now had two major repairs on my Honda Civic at Top Line, and their quotes are easily half of what other shops quote. After being quoted several thousand dollars for a rebuilt transmission on a 2012 Tahoe, I left the mechanic feeling uneasy and drove, yes drove, to Top Line Auto per a friends referral. Skeptical when I arrived, the Mechanics had my vehicle in within 10 minutes and evaluated and diagnosed the problem. The owner was honest and quoted the parts to repair was $600.00 and was a special order. After taking a minute and Googling the parts and costs online, the price quoted was extremely fair saving me potentially thousands! My business is very referral driven and I know the importance of great quality and customer service. I will gladly recommend and refer Top Line Auto to my family and friends.

First of all this place will put parts on your car that dose not need to be replaced and charge you for the repairs.he never fixed my car and then claimed to replace my head gasket which he never did.the mechanics there suck . I send everyone I know here. I was super skeptical, but they have proven time and again to do great work on my cars and that of my family and friends. On a car that I no longer have I had the alternator changed, the breaks, oil changes. My sister just had her manifold and fuel pump changed out. They do good work.

I say ok show me all parts he say parts are 400 labor 200 I pick up car only tensioner 4 plugs I injectors cost on in voice 269 300 labor I feel I was ripped off 100 dollars

Crooks!! I paid way to much and drove off the lot trusting the work was up to par, my car was worse off then when I brought it in! I took it back cause I had smoke like a campfire coming from under my hood, all I heard from the guy that handles the desk was if i spent another 500.00 it wouldnt be doing this? Come on guys really?? They wouldnt give me back my money or try to fix the problem, it was a simple job that they couldnt do in 2 days? I took it somewhere else where they documented and showed me what they didnt do and did not fix a leak in a hose that caused oil to spill on my engine. if your a woman dont go without a body guard or lots of money!

I dont normally write reviews, but with all the time dealing with this business I feel I would be doing a disservice to the public not to share my experience. Through multiple interaction on a warranty issue I was left concluding that this was one of the worst auto repair experiences I have had from not only the poor mechanical work but also the lack of customer service. This business seems to fix minor things, but will eventually ask to do big and costly repairs. When getting a second opinion on anything that Top Line Auto has suggested, I find others value me more as a repeat customer rather try an looking at me as a pay day.

They do shady work I went in to have my AC checked and they said it was the line and it would be $690 to fix. I didnt like that price so I took it somewhere else they then fixed the problem for $23. Also they fixed my brakes and charged me $986 I feel ripped off!

I have been using Top Line for about 2 years now. I have always received great service. I had a situation with my check engine light that kept coming back on even after the repair was done and Chris told me to just bring it back in and they made sure the problem was rectified and at no additional cost. I really dont know how anyone could say they are rip offs because based on my experience they have been nothing but honest and fair.

Do not go here!!!!! My husband did an oil change and they forgot to change the filter so he took the car back to tell them. They apologize and gave him 3 free oil changes. Last week and this week he has been trying to get a free oil change and the guy said they were to busy so yesterday they changed the oil and again forgot to change the filter. Do they do this to their customers all the time? So we are no longer going back and we will not be using the other 2 free oil cards.

After reading all the review I figured I would try it for myself. I have a 2002 dodge Dakota when I bought it it was a junker, I mean everything that could be wrong was wrong with it. I brought it to Chris at topline told them I was on a small budget and had to have quite a bit of work done. In one day they managed to save me more than what I thought I would have had to spend which was a god sent. As a customer I can say I will always bring my truck to them and recommend to my friends cause they do what they can to help people out and do a great job.

Ive been taking my 2 vehicles to Chris and his guys since they opened! I read the reviews that are saying these guys are crooks and Im here to tell you those reviews could not be further from the truth. Chris has always been up front with me from the start telling me about any issues that my vehicles have. I trust Top Line Auto and the staff 100%. Im not a sucker and in the beginning I would get second and third opinions about my issues, and Top Line has always came out on top. They have always gotten me rock bottom best pricing out there on parts. Ive never driven away unhappy or upset about the service I have received. From changing light bulbs to the new transmission they installed, they will continue to keep working on my vehicles. Thanks Guys!

I took my truck here in Feb. 2016 to have my core plugs and wiring harness replaced. Took them two weeks to get it done as my wiring harness was a special order. I also gave them an oil filter and oil to do an oil change since it was there... I get the truck back and it has an electrical issue which I take back right away and they look at it for another two days and say that the PCM is bad and that is another $500 to replace. So I take it home and leave it parked until its fixed. I notice a month or two down the road that the core plugs were never replaced after it keeps over heating and that the oil filter is different than the one that I purchased and gave to them to put on. So I take my truck to a different shop to have it looked and they notice that the ground wiring is not connected properly and that all my sensors are fine.. also that my engine block might need to be clean as the stop leak they used to stop the leak at the core plugs might have blocked the water jackets inside the engine.

***Update*** I came across this old review of mine by accident and noticed it had two (2) stars which is funny because I would give them -5 stars if that was available. This really raises the proverbial eyebrow...makes me wonder about the manipulation of these rankings and reviews - how did a 1-star rating turn into a 2-star rating which is terrible as well but whatever....my initial review stands and I would view every positive review very, very skeptically. Youre on your own if you take your car here....I believe that Top Line was consistently fabricating needed repairs for vehicles we took in, and billing almost off the top of their heads to rip customers off. The last straw that broke the camels back was a complete phony work up for thousands of dollars that I eventually checked through another shop - completely invented!!!. Several parts they claimed to have replaced were untouched! Top Line Auto relies on the hope that people will eventually get tired and move on without following up through the proper channels and in most cases Im sure they are correct - for my part, trust me, move on and try to find a trustworthy shop you can get a proper value with.

SCAMMERS!!! RIP OFF!! WOMEN DO NOT GO HERE!!! My mom and I both took our vehicles here for an oil change. They told me I needed $3000 worth of head gaskets replaced and shouldnt drive my vehicle. The leak they saw was spillage from the washer fluid being filled up. They told my mom that she needed $2000 worth of things fixed like an entire power steering system and all breaks and rotors. We went to a place in Chandler recommended by a friend and they found no such problems at all. If you are a woman do not go here they try to scare you and rip you off!!

I have left my car in the care of the wonderful guys at Top Line on several occasions now and not only are they super knowledgeable(they always explain things in a way I can understand), they have the work done when promised. I have recommended them to my family and would recommend them to anyone.

NEVER GO HERE!!!! They will get over on you! The first time I went there I got my steering column fixed. As I dont know much about cars, I thought $300 was not too bad. Then I took my other car there because it wouldnt start. After leaving it there over night, they call me in the morning and tell me that my ECM caught on fire and that I need to replace it. They told me it would be almost $1000. I told them to go ahead and get started, then consulted a friend of mine. He said they are ripping me off. I called back 15 minutes later and cancelled the repair to which Chris told me that he already ordered the part from the dealership and cant return it. LIE!!!! I told him I cant afford it and hung up. He called me back about an hour later and told me that he will drop the price to $500. GIVE AWAY!!!! I told him I will get back to him and consulted my friend again. My friend called Chris and told him to cancel the repair and that he can return the part. I will send a tow truck to pick it up. Chris then tells me that I dont need one because he replaced the EMC already and all he is charging me is labor. What I am thinking is how do you replace a part that you just ordered in less than 2 hours? Logically, that does not make any sense. I pick it up and they charge me $80. My thought is this, there were some lose wires and they fixed them but tried to charge me for a part that they never ordered plus labor. To top it off, Chris calls me and tells me to never bring my car there again. Thats cool with me. My friend referred me to his friend, another mechanic, who will be looking at it tomorrow for free. I got lucky but you may not if you go here. They thrive on women who dont know anything about cars.

PLEASE READ THIS IF YOUR LOOKING FOR A REPAIR SHOP...I cant rates this top line Auto service because I was never satisfied with their services. They just put band aids on the issues and never fix the real problem or never touch your auto to repair your problem.I was there a second time to have them fix the transmission and oil pump this time and they said it would be done at 4pm will with the question for the recorded I came around many times to check on the repairs on my truck. I found it was still parked in back since they moved it from the front early that morning on Friday the 9/29/17. When 4 pm came around, I talk to Ron him second hand guy he told me that they fix the replaced oil pump and I ask your sure it done this time he said yes. So I took it around the corner to checked out, what I found nothing was done again everything was dry, grease filled the front cover and nuts and the gage was still going back and forth. So I went back to the top line talk to Ron again he said it the oil gage that was broken and had a guy from somewhere come out to take a look at the oil gage, but this Guy didnt have any new ones on hand to replace it thats was Ron excuse for not doing their job to fixing the issues this time again. I dont think anyone that works there a Certified Mechanics...So If you want to get the repairs done correctly go to a different auto repair shop I dont recommend Top line repair shop to fix the problem they are bad business to the community and bad service to everyone?PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THESE GUYS ARE SCAMMERS AND WILL LIE TO YOU, THIER NOT WORTH YOUR TIME OR MONEY TO HAVE THEM FIX ANYTHING RIGHT ITS JUST A BAND AID SO THEY CAN GET MORE IN THE RETURN AND YOU NEVER EVER SIGN ANY CONTRACT BEFORE OR AFTER REPAIRS ARE DONE. I wish I would have read this site before taking my vehicle to Chris and have him rip me off for thousands of dollars!! I want to warn people not to deal with this place. In my opinion, they are crooks and liars. They claimed to have fixed items they did not fix. I was skeptical so I questioned him about the repairs and he got extremely defensive. I left the auto shop not feeling too well at all about the situation. Sure enough, my vehicle still had the same issues! Chris did not want to deal with me once he had my money, he would not return my phone calls! I gave up after a few weeks (I plan on reporting him to the Attorney Generals office). I ended up taking it to another shop where they told me my brakes were put back together wrong and the parts were not new parts! My A/C was still blowing warm, they replaced the filter for $25 and I had cold air! I learned two big lessons - always check the reviews before you buy anything and lesson to your gut feeling!

Topline Auto is fast, friendly, professional and reasonably priced. I first used these guys about 2 years ago when my Jeep broke down. I chose this shop because it was located about a mile from my house and was the closest shop available. Over the past two years I have been using Topline for service and repair on both my vehicles. I have always been very happy with the service I receive. I always get a firm estimate – often with several options and thorough explanations of the pros and cons of each option. It is hard to find a shop you can trust these days. The fact that they are close to home is now just an added bonus for me since I would gladly drive across town to keep using Toipline.

They are such liars!! I paid 480 for a new head gasket in my car. they said mine was blown come to find out they lied!! It was just my water pump which they didnt even touch!! They didnt even put a new head gasket in my car and i didnt find out till months after when another mechanic worked on my car! All they did was put some fluid to flush it which clogged up my radiator!

Do NOT! Take your car to this location.I had an awful experience with them.I waslked in and a guy by the name of Chris was very kind asked me if Ive been there before I told him my first time and hope this to be a placeI can bring my car in the future.My car overheated the night before.I took my car to them and looked like I need a eighter just a seal or a new radiator.10 minutes later Chris comes to me and tells me I needed a new radiator and that the price he is giving me is the best in the valley I can Google all I wantI never even try to negotiate about the price nothing I said ok.1 hour later my radiator was replaced Chriss uncle VERY mean man told me they test drove the car and they Wont let me drive it two blocks and have the same problem. I was very excited took the car drove it less than a mile my car had another overheating I was so upset I went back the smoke was on the side where the fans were.they apparently never put them back.they said theyll replace them for free but I had to leave my car overnight.my car ran ok for another day and overheated again.they said they will have to check the car.they just parked the car for two hours Chris came back to me and said looks like you need a new motor I was stunned,did not believe him,I took my car to another mechanic and turns out my engine is fine.and that when the radiator was replaced at TOP LINE SERVICE didnt drain anything just changed the radiator clogged everything. They are very unprofessional and just go after what they can make.

Fair prices and fast repair. Have recommended to others and will return.

Such a mess dont even look like a mechanic shop. Stuff scattered everywhere. And sometimes the employees are rude.

Ive been going to chris and pete for years and will continue to,, the only auto shop i trust and the prices are really good,, they are honest and legit people . i recommend them to my friends and family if that says anything . and to the people with bad things to say,,, it sucks when your car breaks down or needs maintenance but dont call the messenger a crook or say bad things about them because you have a maintenance issue and they tell you what it needs,,, cars require up keep,, top line auto continue the good work !!!

DO NOT GO HERE STAY AWAY I dont know where to start, I guess I would start with the fact that the owner is a charlatan. After telling me something was else was wrong with my vehicle he proceeded to tell me my wiring harness was no good. When I show up at the Shop to see my car Ive been told that my wiring harness had been pulled out and on the floor in his office. Now Im on the phone with him and hes yelling at me screaming at me calling me names using vulgarity and refusing to give me back my entire wiring harness that he pulled from my car without permission. Now the sheriffs office tells me its a civil matter so now I have to contact an attorney and prove that that is my harness or if it isnt mine then hes lying to me to make me believe that it was a needed repair thats fraud. Maybe all of these reviews online are really true I thought they were false. We are also preparing to contact the insurance department at Arizona because of some of the things that he asked me to say and do in order to falsify insurance claim which I refused to do. Now I had my wife record the exchange and he clearly was drunk and incapable of having any kind of communication. DONT GO HERE ..

This place (Chris, specifically) has been scamming my dad for years. I dont have the heart to tell him because it would be humiliating.

I will NEVER take my vehicle to them again. They r unprofessional, claim to do work they dont do, over charge, and take advantage of people who arent exactly car savvy.

Took my car in for a break change, they looked at it, saw that they were OK, added fluid and didnt change me a thing.

Hard to get any attention from the staff and then overpriced walked out.
