You know the kind of place you wish would fix it right the first time, so you dont have to bring it back, well this is it. What a breath lf fresh air, and i have looked forever. Plus, they are extremely professional, polite, and reasonable.

Okay, I admit: Im picky when it comes to my cars. Als shop, while not in the most convenient location for me, is well worth the extra drive. Als team is the most straightforward, competent, and fair group of experienced auto mechanics Ive ever met.If cars were people, which some of us imagine they are, this is one doctors office they continue enjoy visiting.

Had a pre purchase inspection done for the person buying my car and the car was fine for 2 years owning it then after leaving this shop every single light was on on the dash was on windows didn’t work, ac didn’t work, wouldn’t shift out of 3rd gear and they said it’s not their fault and then proceeded to try and blame my active steering sensor that was working perfectly fine and even if the sensor was bad it would not cause the problem that had occurred they ripped the sensor off which broke it and tried to blame that for the issue. I then had to fix the issue plus buy the sensor costing me total $550. I would not recommend this shop. It is also in the ghetto and while we were there a homeless man came up to me telling me a story in the middle of the parking lot by their bay doors. Just overall do not recommend!

I had a vacuum leak in the A/C and 4 wheel drive systems. It took 5 separate appointment to get it fixed. They kept my car overnight three times, despite telling me that the work would be completed that day. In addition, they installed the wrong hubs (I have, and prefer, manually locking hubs. They installed auto locking hubs without asking me). They also changed front brake pads without authorization. Finally, they replaced my steering stabilizer without authorization. When I told them the steering stabilizer was new (I had just installed it the previous week), they refused to refund my money. Now, I cannot say for certain that they did not know what they were doing when needing 5 appointments to fix the issues, nor can I say for certain they intended to defraud me by replacing brand new parts (the mechanic told me that he knew the stabilizer he was replacing was knew, but management had ordered the stabilizer, so he installed it), but I would question their motivations at this point. I will not go back.

I dropped my car off on a Sunday night, after hours. And the repair was done by 10am on Monday. Super professional. Quick, and affordable. Do to the rain, I lost control, spun out and slammed into the curb, completely bending my tire. My car drives better than before.Highly recommended these guys!

Brought my own newly refurbished parts, by the time they were installed, they were completely ruined, lost $389.00 and they were trying to get more. Same thing happened to my friend. Pretty sure they do not like ppl of color. Buyer beware.

My pregnant wife popped a tire and just happened to pull in here. I went inside to see if they sold tires and they said they didn’t. But then the unexpected happened. The men there offered to take me down the road while my wife and two sons sat inside.. they took off the tire, took me to buy another one and then brought me back and put the tire on free of charge. They were busy and had a line but still managed to help us in a situation that felt helpless for that moment. We appreciate their help so much and we will most definitely be paying it forward.

Words cant convey the gratitude I feel for this establishment. I had recently purchased a 2010 Vovlo XC60 with my graduation money after my car broke down. I bought my vehicle from an auto auction as is, meaning after it has been driven off the lot it no longer has any guarantee. Hours later it didnt start. Bought a brand new battery, did everything we could. I had just spent thousands of dollars on junk. Then I found Imports & American Auto Services and they found out it was a small fix, they resolved it in 1 hour and did not charge me an insane fee especially knowing how distraught I was. They could have charged me any amount and I would have payed it. It was under $100 and I left sobbing with gratitude. I 1000% recommend this place. Michael is an angel and really cares about quality work. Fantastic customer service! I will not go anywhere else. :)

Ive known Al the owner for over ten years and he has never once let me down. Very honest and friendly guy. He will figure out what is wrong with your car and fix it. Very reasonable pricing and all his workers are pleasant to deal with. He treats you like family....but of course he has to make a living so hes more of a distant cousin that needs to get paid, but still family. Go see him you cant go wrong. Its hard to find a good mechanic and Im lucky to have found this place.

Called in about an issue on our Subaru Forester. Told guy on the phone what the issue was he asked us two questions and was pretty certain he knew the issue and quoted us a price, letting us know if he was wrong the price could change but he’d call first to let us know. His intuition was right and he fixed it quite quickly. We were able to pick it up in just a couple hours. Price is great, service is amazing definitely recommend this place.

I had a pre-purchase inspection for a used BMW I3 with a range extender (gas engine) with the electric.. The garage and parking lot was very full but they got the car in quickly and did the inspection at a reasonable price.

Ali is a lier he did not do nothing we pay $400 for issues and he owes $400 the blower motor got fix and my account was fine tell he touch it. I had a loud sound on the put side so her adjustment the valves and it still making the sound like it was not done and I payed $400 for nothing. They didnt fix it I went back and then they did

Stopped by to drop my car off for an oil change to be done while I was at work. They offered to drive me to my work (didnt take up their offer since my work was within walking distance), but the very nice gesture right off the bat made an amazing first impression. They said they would have my oil changed along with basic maintenance and inspections done within an hour. They told me I could leave my phone number and they would call when my car was ready to be picked up. I received a call within the hour that my car was ready to be picked up. When I arrived to pick up my car they told me what was done and as a heads up pointed out a couple of potential problems that could arise for my vehicle in the future. They didnt try to get me to have the service done then and there or apply any pressure. I felt like they really had my vehicles best intentions at heart and just wanted me to be informed and aware of the condition of my vehicle. Once it was all said and done the price was very competitive as well. I couldnt be happier with the service they provided.

The service is above and beyond great. The mechanics are knowledgeable and they provide all the right education to customers, how to keep there vehicle performing at its best. The owner really knows how to give friendly and professional service. Before I have my car fixed, the car was running like new, NOW its running like brand new!!! A free ride to my residence was even offered once my vehicle was at their facility as their care for customers getting to where they have to go without their vehicle is even catered for. Like good surgeons everywhere, owner at Imports & American Auto Services called the day after my car was fixed and run without a hitch. They are upfront, honest, and charge a fair price not a huge markup. I had an exhaust issue with my car. Another place quoted over $500, but Imports and American Auto charged me $320.

Al, Steve and Staff ARE Amazing! Stranded on Beeline Hwy with a blown long block Nissan 5.6L, all the way through until I was shocked my truck was running so smooth and Even Smiling as I paid The bill and drove away. I decided to call because of the reviews across the board and multiple platforms..5 STAR. Lucky I did call. Towed in same day. Ordered a motor the next day, gently used, or so I thought, 3 weeks Delay and shipping Al and his guys didn’t even bother me until the day before it arrived, true patience! Motor showed up and I dropped off about $1000 in new parts, starter, timing chains, sensors, seals, etc..The motor that arrived though would work, was not the motor I ordered and while trying to sort out and delaying work for the day, was still professional and patient, advising me all the way. Still delivering parts to exchange on used motor I admitted I was adding work and man hours and asked for a bottom line increase to my original price. We agreed to $400 Additional cost and the swap and what turned out to be FULL REBUILD commenced. Steve did an amazing job stripping down used engine, painstakingly cleaning all surfaces to prepare for install of new components and ensure quality install. Still delivering parts, seals and sensors each day as was advised and necessary, not once was the timeline extended beyond the extra time discussed before work started nor was there ever any complaint or mention of increasing project costs At the end an issue with manifolds became a full day anxiety attack where at 3 pm I nearly drove to LA and straight home to pick up used manifolds in order to stay on schedule for install in morning. Due to situation Al advised against purchasing used, as these manifolds are prone to cracking, asked if I had called a local supplier.. I found them and called, they don’t sell to private individuals, only shops and retailers. I quickly explained my situation to the excellent employee and he said that they had my manifolds in stock for $800 for the pair plus tax, but that if Al called that he gets them without tax. I thanked him and told him to expect that call. Drove down, told Al to order even though the cost. ($1200 cheaper than for the pair at any retailer) the next day my engine was assembled and I was promised it would be complete the next day, Friday. The entire front end of my truck was disassembled in order to remove transmission and motor together as they were locked together during engine failure. I was hopeful but realistically knew that meeting schedule would be a difficult task and friends and family expressed the same sentiment. Friday (Today) and I am working all day, don’t call all day so as not to distract Al and his crew as well as worry of bad news. 4:30pm and I am heading home for the day and that means near the shop. Nervously I call and Al tells me Steve has it running, test driven and I can pick it up. Now being a technician and having done this same work in my own past, I was very pleasantly surprised and went to pick up fully expecting to be given a Bill much higher than the $1400 original quote plus the $400 agreed upon extra for the increase in required work and the $800 for the manifolds. They greet me with my truck running and purring like a kitten and sounding Healthy! I expressed my gratitude, shock and excitement to Steve who took on this project diligently, with urgency and the skill of a master technician. And Into the office I went, smiling and ready for what may come. Al came in, asked if I was happy, which was obvious I was. And told me without hesitation or blinking that because they had to get a few more required parts, the total was $2650.00...I was ecstatic and thanked Al, Steve and crew from the bottom of my heart.. you see this wasn’t just an engine swap, for which I was quoted beyond fair, but This was a FULL engine REBUILD! 2days added. And much more involved, tedious and delicate. I will recommend for any Auto Service needs and be a loyal customer for the rest of my life

Best mechanic I have ever used, great pricing and honest work. I never worry about being taken to the cleaners when I come here. Most recently I brought in my civic for repair. Mechanic diagnosed it on the spot and sent me to the dealer. It was a cracked engine block which he new was under a recall warranty by the manufacturer. I will always bring my cars here.

I had an emergency on the way to work. My brakes went out (bad booster). When I arrived at my regular shop they were closed for ‘vacation’ so with no choice I took my truck to Import who was the closet shop in the area. I showed up desperate and without an appointment. Though I was there right at open I could see from all the cars they were obviously very busy but Al diagnosed the problem in minutes and gave me a quote and promised I could pick it up in just a few hours. It was done exactly on time at the exact price quoted. He is a super nice guy and treated me very fair and frankly saved my butt. I will definitely go back to them and will recommend them to anyone I know.

I had many things wrong with my Mercedes 2005,C230 Kompressor .Needed motor and engine mounts replacement, front struts and strut supports, front bushes and arm work and steering wheel problem .I had an estimate done from Dealership, who charged me $100 just for diagnosis and gave an estimate of $3800 with parts and labor .Al here did it in less than half of that !!His service is quick and prompt, no gimmicks and straight to the point work and related expenses .Ill highly recommend him to any of my family memebers and friends, anytime for all German cars, he is the best !Highly knowledgeable person, would bring my car again if anything pops up .

I took my nissan sentra to fix an exhaust problem i had on it because it was showing a check engine light on the car. They took care of the problem the same day fast service. They only do and tell you what the car needs in order to run a few more days weeks or months unlike other service shops that tell you that you might need this or that just to make more money off you... In all this shop is excellent i will recommend this shop to every one.
