Subaru superstore chandler was unable to diagnose my airbag light and charged me 150$ for nothing. H&I automotive was able to find the problem for the same price and was very helpful! I would highly recommend this place!!

,I approached the guys at H& I, Steve and Chris about my van and a goal mid pandemic and their team helped me achieve my goal and I am now traveling in my 2000 Ford van across the US knowing the work they performed is guaranteed nation wide. The work they performed was extensive well done and guaranteed. I will be returning for my annual bumper to bumper inspection when I am in town. And I have not had to use the guarantee except to sleep well.

From lifting it in the air on the lift to the removal and replacement of parts that needed to be moved in order to access and fix the problem. I was blown away! Im taking all of my vehicles there from now on and any time I buy a vehicle going forward Im taking it here before I spend a dime. They offer a full diagnostic check that includes pictures so that I can now buy a used vehicle and not have to worry about weather or not the seller has taken me for a ride Thanks H&I !

First of all let me say I dont give anyone five stars so I hope no one takes it the wrong way. Now I took my Ford explorer to another shop on a Sunday and they wouldnt be able to look at my car until that Thursday. Mind you I have been taking my cars to a common named shop with multiple franchises in multiple states. But after multiple mishaps over a period of time my wife and I decided to find a new shop that was not a big but got descent reviews and after checking those reviews for about five or six shops near us we decided on H&I. They took our car the next day and started the inspection because our check engine light was on. During the inspection they found other things that they noted in the inspection. There were green tagged items,yellow tagged items and red tagged items on the list of things they found. What I liked is that they didnt pressure us to get anything done just to look at the list and let them what you want them to fix. You can get text messages or emails on the progress of you car. And the warrantied the work they did for 60,000 miles. Oh and they only use factory parts. No after market/generic arts. Thank you H&I

If you dont expect honesty from an auto repair shop, then dont go to H&I Automotive!!!How many auto repair shops and/or dealers provides a nationwide 5 year, 60,000 warranty on parts and labor? Probably zero.Over the past 12 years, or more, I have had all my vehicles serviced with H&I because of their honesty and loyalty to the customer. I would recommend H&I Automotive to anyone without a doubt! Very professional and reliable. The best customer service at reasonable prices. They never replace parts that dont need to be replaced.

My sons car has been neglected for some time, but eventually needed acute repairs. Happened to look on Bumper to Bumper site and found H&I was conveniently located. Spoke to Tucker and set up an appointment for the next day. The CV shafts needed replaced and the car was repaired quickly and at what I thought was a reasonable price. They even provided my son with a loaner car! They also provided a list of recommended repairs in order of severity. They were not pushy, but I had them take care of the first one listed right away. Tucker treated my son and I with respect and patience, which I really appreciated. I think I have found a repair shop I can trust.

The mechanic that serviced my 2 Toyotas for 10 years retired, he referred me to this business. He had been friends of the owner of H&I for years. I have had 2 visits to H&I so far. They dont pressure you to have something done that you didnt come in for. They have top notch diagnostic equipment and their mechanics are ASE certified. My 4Runner was due for a new timing belt, while they were doing that, the mechanic saw that one of the freeze plugs on the engine was leaking coolant. He came to the waiting room and brought me out to the shop and showed my the stains on the engine where it had been leaking for quite awhile. I do my own oil changes and top off the coolant in the radiator when necessary. I didnt realize that it was leaking. They sent a guy out to get a new freeze plug and installed it. Glad they saw it, if it blew out when I was 15 miles down a dirt road it would not be drivable to get home. I had the timing belt replaced as a precaution just be be on the safe side. I will be using the shop for all my repairs and maintenance that is beyond my skill level knowing that it will be done right. They guarantee their work and if you do break down, their warranty is covered by most other shops. Good to have that.

Friendly people, and quick service. A little on the pricey side. $710 for a cooling system flush, 2 u-joints and a diagnostic. As they have replied to the review, I did fail to mention that you get what you pay for. Yes, they was more expensive, but it was top notch service. Will be taking my car to this shop again. Id rather pay more for peace of mind; than pay less for shoddy work. Thanks guys.

Excellent Service! The AC in our 2010 Volvo died in June as we were passing through town. Chris and his team fixed our car quickly as promised. The AC now works great. Chris was also able to find a better price than he had quoted me for the AC clutch he replaced. When he called me to let me know that the car was ready he also shared the terrific news that he had found a lower price for the part and had passed on that savings to me. Sadly, not many shops these days are so ethical. Happily, H&I is.

This place is GREAT! they go over your entire vehicle and let you know whats out, not working, gonna need to be worked on and fix what you brought it in for. I am not very trusting of other people with my cars but they owner is great, the store manager tucker, newbie Ryan are friendly, knowledgable guys. They keep you updated on your vehicle and the work gets done quick and done right. They do coupons every so often too, got to love saving some money!

Ive recently needed work on 2 vehicles. They are great at customer service and very fair price. Ive got second opinions on their quotes from other mechanics I know (but to far away) and always right in the ballpark.

Very impressed with the service that I received at H & I automotive! From the minute I walked in I was treated with utmost respect. What supprised me the most was when they took my truck in to change the transmission fluid, I received a text message with a breakdown of all the service checks on my truck. From comparisons to what my fluid looks like to what theyre supposed to be, the photos of my belts, the lining of my transmission, the oil pan, even my windshield wipers. The best part is the transmission fluid change has $1,000 warranty if anything happens to the system. I definitely will be trusting them with any automotive needs that I have, you should too!

I’ve been taking my vehicles to H&I for about 5 years now. This business is a notch above the others it seems. I can tell Chris cares about his customers. They even do free loaners while your vehicle is in. I sat in his office while they did alignment on my truck for about an hour. I asked a lot of questions casually about my vehicles and expressed concerns, he was very knowledgeable. I could hear him on the phone with several customers. He always answered the phone with the customers first name. He was very friendly. This was my first time coming and I left with a cookie and rose (yes, they gave me a flower lol). The techs were also very customer oriented. I can tell they run a genuine operation. Success for them is more than just fixing the vehicle. I was very satisfied. They even washed my car and they didnt even mention they would.

This shop was recommended by a mechanic who did not specialize in GMs. I have used them twice since. The first time for my Saturn and the second for my Nissan (they also have a Nissan tech.) Both times their prices were competitive, their service was friendly and professional and the issues were resolved completely.

My sister has had great experiences with H&I, I’ve had great experiences with H&I and a good friend I referred to them has had great experiences with H&I. Having been in the wholesale auto parts supply business prior to retirement, H&I is the type of business we sought to partner with.

I have brought my vehicles here for many years and up until recently, had received very good work and customer service. A few months ago I brought a truck in to have a repair done. After the initial problem was diagnosed and the work was completed, (at what I would consider to be overpriced), the original problem was still not resolved. After several trips back and the problems being repeatedly misdiagnosed, I was given an estimate for work that did not need to be done, and at a price that was completely unacceptable.In the past, I trusted my vehicles to this shop. Now though, I would question whether those who do the actual work, are certified or have the experience needed. Add to that the pricing for repairs/parts here, and you might as well go to a dealership. I may change my opinion in the future, but for now, with my experience (and that of a few others I know who have gone there recently), I honestly cannot recommend H &I.

These guys are knowledgeable and honest. A while back I strayed and boy did I pay! My Audi needed a new timing belt and when I took it to a different shop that someone recommended, they broke my radiator and it ran awful! It would shut off when my RPMs decreased and that was truly frightening. I brought it in to H & I and Spencer was able to figure out that the mechanic had put it back together incorrectly and fixed it for me. I will never go anywhere else ever again. A good and honest mechanic is worth their weight in GOLD! I highly recommend them.

Spending the season in Casa Grande and needed to get an oil change. Before leaving Ann Arbor MI. I researched BG dealers in the Phoenix area capable of doing a full fluid change on our GMC Denail when we arrived. H&I was listed as a BG dealer. Reviewed their website, was impressed by the strong customer reviews and called for an appt. Spoke with Ryan and knew immediately I had made the right call. EVERYTHING I experienced, from product information to service and follow-up exceeded expectations. In a world of mediocrity, H&I is a pleasant exception !!!!!

Don’t ever use this place!! Worst customer service ever.This place did the old “bait and switch” on me. I had some work done on my 02 Sierra hd a few years ago. I originally came here because of an injector problem and they were one a few “GM certified” repair shops. Keep in mind I live over an hour away so making the decision to come to H&I was thought out. I regret my decision btw. Fast forward to this week, I have a fuel pressure problem that my local place diagnosed and quoted. The part is a very expensive part so they asked if it had ever been replaced before. I did some research and discovered that H&I had replaced it due to their own error (I forgot to mention that when they were replacing my injectors they screwed up my truck by having the positive battery contact come into contact with a number of parts including this part in question) so it should be under warranty. I called H&I and spoke to Ryan I believe, he pulled my records and said yes this part was replaced and is under warranty. I spoke to him on the phone for a few minutes to verify this would be covered if in fact this part was the problem. Ryan said yes and furthermore it’s not just the part under warranty but the labor would be covered as well. Sweet I’m thinking. So this am I drive all the way down (over an hour) and have my wife follow to drive me home. I walk in and Ryan welcomes me and says the he misspoke on the phone and the warranty isn’t what he described to me on the phone. My truck is out of warranty. Wth?!?! I just drove over an hour because of what he told me on the phone and a phone call to me prior to me taking the 70 min trek would’ve been helpful. To say I feel manipulated is an understatement! I begrudgingly left the truck with them to get a 2nd opinion and I was already there. I received a call about 2 hours later saying they were going to charge me a diagnostic fee of well over $100 to just tell me what was wrong. There’s no way I’m giving these crooks anymore of my money. I told Ryan to put my truck back together and I’ll come get it.The lack of respect these people gave me is incredible. I have never been treated like this before and will never use them again and will tell all of my contacts to avoid also.

Had Timing Belt work done about 34,000-35,000 miles ago.YeYesterday (Friday Spt 29 2017) heard a noise coming from engine.Called H & I & they told me to bring the car it.Time around 920 AMGot a call from them around 230/3pm. They told me there check water pump and fixed timing belt problem. ...NO CHARGE they said!How is that for a Great Business Company!!
