Matt was very thorough in explaining every detail and helped us get the right pricing. The inside and outside of the dealership was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. My husband and I visited the parts department looking for a paint pen for my Mazda CX5 and to ask a question regarding the navigation system. On our way in, we were greeted by the most helpful Customer Relationship Manager, Connie Mattox. After we purchased the pen, Connie sat in my car with me and showed me many features about the Apple Car Play that I did not know existed. My wife just bought her car...surprisingly with 1997 for mandatory premium purchase package.All new cars sold at this dealership has this premium package. Sales guy said it is part of purchase and cannot get rid of it, which turned out to be false.Avoid this dealership. If you go to other dealership, they do not have 1997 package.

I dropped off canned goods for their food drive. My former wife was employed at Cardinale and asked if Id shop and deliver the goods. This dealership was friendly, the employee came out and helped me bring in the 2 cases and a bag of veggies. Immediately got welcomed when I arrived and no one even asked if I wanted to look at a vehicle! LOL PERFECT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I delivered and took a pic of the enormous collection of food gathered. I was thanked and on my way! Hats off to Cardinale Mazda for not being selfish! Other car dealerships should take a lesson! Non-agressive sales staff, great communication, fair prices, and Lorelai is fantastic.I really like that theyve created a low pressure environment. They truly do want to get you into a car thats best for your needs/purposes. This is an online dealer, so everything is already priced fairly. I compared quotes for cars with very similar trims/features to other Mazda dealers around here and Cardinale Way was either competitive or a bit lower.I do want to give Lorelai Schrader a shoutout though. She is very knowledgeable and is very communicative. It was a great experience working with her and Id definitely refer my friends/family to her.

Bait & switch. They add all their costs to certify a used car AFTER you get there. Most dealers simply include in price. If you’re looking at a car here, just know they won’t actually be cheaper once they add fees that, as a manager said, aren’t negotiable.”

Cant say how much these guys did for us. If I gave the numbers some may say that I could have got a better price or a better deal. But besides the great deal and price for our Mazda 3 (certified used vehicle), the reason my wife and I bought our Mazda 3 at Cardinale Mazda was because they did everything they could to get us the best deal possible with the resources they had. They were workable and spent 3 hours simply running numbers and making the our experience the best it could be.Even if I hadnt purchased our vehicle there, I would still recommend people here because they take care of you and want to build a good business relationship with their customers.Dustin did an awesome job selling us on Cardinale Mazda. The car was an easy sale but we were sold on the people as well.This doesnt mean dont do your homework though, come prepared with a budget and review your list of vehicles you have interest in before as well!

Im giving this place a 3 star because I had a lovely time with the sale department, however! When coming in for my first oil change, the technicians over filled my oil, and left my car completely dirty with water spots all over the inside of it. Water spots aside, what dealership doesnt know how to change oil properly? My paperwork says the work was inspected by 5 people, who I guess also over looked the fact that my oil is over full!

I had already gone to other dealers, researched online, and I knew it was a good price. No haggling! I can remember going hours at other dealerships playing the game, but this was great.

Hi! I purchased my first Mazda at this location exactly one month ago. I went for an older model, but was sold right before I got there. I test drove a Mazda CX 5 and fell in love. The rep that was in contact prior, during and after was Darlene. She was the sweetest woman to interact with during my car buying experience. I went to 3 other dealerships throughout the valley and had terrible experiences from them all 3. She communicated, she listened to my needs and found what worked best for my budget and got me into a sexy car too! She also coordinated with Mike. He was awesome. Once completed I met with Nelson. He thoroughly went through my contract with me and patiently waited as I asked a million and one questions. This was a very large purchase for me and I wanted to make sure I was being responsible for the long run on my vehicle. (I opted for the warranty) i love my car, I appreciate the service I received and have recommended them to others. Thank you for showing my how to start this car and all the cool gadgets Darlene. We wanted to trade our Mazda that was bought from Cardinale for a new one. The service dept. has been excellent. We found the model we wanted but the sales dept. was not willing to deal at all. I was told that my trade plus cash offer wasnt even close and that was the end of the discussion. They didnt even bother to make a counter offer. We went to another dealer via the internet and they came much closer to my offer. Cardinale wouldnt even match that offer. Do your homework before shopping at Cardinale and watch out for those non-negotiable dealer add-ons and fees.

I cant recommend this dealership and service department enough. I had a really great experience buying my Mazda from them in 2019. They were honest, upfront, friendly and there were no extras added on to the price. They worked with my budget and my targeted payment and I left happy with the experience and the cost.Ive continued to service my car there because Jesus and the rest of the service department do such a great job. Jesus remembered that I like a price breakdown of my upcoming big mileage service appointments costs, and included that for me when I checked out without me having to request it. Last week, I went for a regular oil change and the 6 month clear coat for my paint, and my car was cleaned immaculately on the inside and had a spotless shine on the outside.I pass a lot of dealerships on my way to Cardinale Mazda in Mesa, but will continue to make the drive out when my car needs service because everyone Ive worked with and talked to there has been exceptional.

The people at Mazda are great and do good work. We had our 30000 mile service yesterday. Two thirds of the bill was for labor. $390 for less than 2 hours work is a bit extreme

I originally went to Horne Mazda in Tempe, AZ with the intention of buying one specific car. The salesman was great but his manager was condescending and immediately turned down any hope I had of buying a car there. I went to CardinaleWay knowing the car I had planned on getting was not in stock but went to try my luck anyways. I walked out with the best experience I could have hoped for. They heard of my heartbreak at Horne and were set on turning my day around. I ended up driving off the lot same day in a car that I thought was out of my price range but they did everything they could to make it work. I got more than I had hoped for. Daniel and Donny worked extra hard to make this an excellent experience. I felt like I had been waited on hand and foot with their above excellent customer service. This was my first time purchasing a vehicle and I had done lots of research on dealing with car salesmen but walking into this dealership felt more like talking to friends than working a deal. I had a time constraint of only three hours to pick my car, complete my paperwork, and be on my way but their amazing crew worked hard to get me out the door in just 2.5 hours. At one point they were literally running from the detail area to the finance office to make everything happen. Everyone I met was personable and friendly and extremely willing, ready, and excited to help my purchase my car. I’ve recommended this dealer to several friends looking to purchase new cars since then because these guys definitely deserve every customer who comes to them. I can’t express the gratitude I feel for the team at CardinaleWay Mazda Mesa. I look forward to being able to return to this dealership in the future for servicing on my vehicle and feel like I’ve created a lasting relationship with everyone who helped me that day. By far, the best place to buy a car and have it serviced! I traded in my sedan for a hatch with very low mileage and worked out a much better deal than I anticipated. Corrie sold me my dream car after months of searching, now Nick and the service team keep her running great! This location is a bit far from home, but it is always well worth the trip.

Buyer beware. Make sure you see what you are actually paying for. There was an “aftermarket add on” fee on every car. This is a scam, $1,997 for window tint, oil changes for 2 years, nitrogen in the tires and paint protection. That is a dealer cost of a few hundred dollars. I asked them to take it off, they refused. The GM told me every dealer in the area does this. I’m new to the area but I find it hard to believe every dealership is in on this scam. I’m planning on buying 2 new cars this year. You lost me business. So people actually fall for this scam??????

I am in the market for a specific color & trim option Mazda6. It’s not been easy. Mazda is discontinuing the 6, and has essentially forced me to the used market. I live in Tucson but expanded my search to track down this “unicorn”. Finally, it seemed like I might be in luck — a red Mazda6 Reserve was at CardinaleWay Mazda Mesa. There was only a stock photo online, so I called for more details. I spoke with Dustin on June 30th, and he emailed me a walkaround video from his phone. It looked a bit rain splattered from sitting outside (hadn’t been detailed yet) and he did note in the video there were some rock chips but said it was a “beautiful car”. From what I could see, I agreed. I said if they could do it for X price OTD, I would drive up from Tucson to buy the car. After checking with his manager, Dustin called back on July 2nd with an official go-ahead offer and asked if I could come up that day. Since I needed to arrange a ride to Phoenix (and take time off work) I instead offered to drive up on July 5th. During this call, I also confirmed that there were no mechanical flaws or interior/exterior issues. Dustin said that other than “some rock chips” everything was as it should be.Unfortunately, after our two-hour drive from Tucson, my fiancée and I found that was not the case.When we got a chance to see the car up close, we quickly saw what horrible condition it was in. There were thousands of paint chips scattered over the entire car, across the entire hood, parts of the doors, roof and bumper. The headlights were pitted and the windshield had chips and stars. It looked like the car had been an extra in filming Mad Max. It was certainly more than the couple of paint chips mentioned, and it was frankly embarrassing that CardinaleWay Mazda Mesa would put their name on the car and even attempt to sell it to the public.To add insult to injury, Dustin said the car had not yet been detailed or inspected and so, if we decided to buy it, it could not be taken home that day. We would need to make another 250 mile journey in a few days when it was ready, even though we had confirmed with the dealership earlier that morning we were enroute from Tucson. Why wasn’t the car ready? I can only assume 1.) gross negligence or 2.) they fully knew no sane person would buy this car so didn’t bother prepping it. In further conversation, it was revealed that the only reason they had been willing to move on the price was because the paint damage was so extensive that they were considering selling it at auction. Interestingly, it was not so extensive as to stop them from trying to sell it at fair market price.I had hopes of purchasing a car from CardinaleWay Mazda Mesa, but unfortunately it didnt work out. In all honesty, I could never in good faith recommend anyone consider purchasing a car from here.

Most of us realize when we walk into a car dealership that we are going to get scammed to some degree. However Cardinale Way Mazda takes it to a new level. You expext when you buy a car from a dealership that it is checked and verified before you drive off the lot, not in this case. I purchased a vehi le from them in December. After having it for about three weeks I noticed oil spots on my driveway. Looking around the truck I noted oil streaming across the front end and immediately took it to my friend at Temoe Dodge (It is a Dodge 1500) thinking there was an oil leak and glad I had purchased a warranty. After inspectibg the vehicle my friend called and told me that there was no oil cap on the car. I had them.order one and contacted Cardinale Way to get them to reimburse me for the cap and also the rental car I had to get while my vehicle was inspected. They hemmed and hawed the finally agreed to pay for the oil cap, but only agreed to pay a portion of the rental fee. They agreed to pay the $95 for the cap and only $50 of the rental. Now we are six months later and after numerous calls I still have not been reimbursed. Do Not buy anythibg from Cardinale Way Mazda, they are very untrustworthy!

1997 for Premium Package, on top of MSRP 30130 on EVERY CAR sold here!This dealership has great selections and great cars, however, there is one problem, mandatory package for all new car purchase, premium packages for 1997.1 for maintenance service agreement.There is a cancellation clause found in the agreement1996 for paint protection by AutoMate, LLCthere is no cancellation clause found in the agreementI heard CardinaleWay Mazda introduced this practice this March. When I bought a car back in 2019, there were many add ons, however, they were all cancellable.I could not find a way to cancel this, so, I talked to the Finance guy and Sales guy, they both just said NO for my request without sufficient explanation, or You need it. which might not be true.It does not make sense that the agreement does not have a cancellation clause. I should be able to cancel this paint protection free of charge as the cancelation clause for maintenance agreement says so?Still, I am waiting for a response from Mazda for my inquiry in writing. However, I guess I need to file a complaint with the 3rd party agencies to make it right.I could ask the sales guy to remove this premium package before buying my car. I wish I could know I cant cancel it. I wish I could know this and asked 2K more for discounts.If you could not get additional 2K discounts, it is worth trying other Mazda dealership without this premium package!

I had prior attempted to purchase a vehicle through a major online only dealer that instantly became a waste of time. Needless to say the vehicle they tried to sell me died after 3 hours! So I was at that point discouraged that I would not find my vehicle I really wanted. Just for the heck of it after work one day I was looking at used car deals online and just so happened CardinaleWay Mazda had my vehicle on ad for their big year end sale! I then setup an appointment with Riley to check it out. This guy has to be one of the most down to earth friendly sales persons I have ever met! We take it out for a decent test drive and had great conversation, a lot of which was about my previous bad experience buying from the major online only dealer. Riley really helped ease my fears about this vehicle and showed me everything inside and out. He showed me the immaculate engine that has new belts, hoses, and no leaks along with brand new oil and a spotlessly clean dipstick. After talking more about it I decided to take the next step and get approval to finance. I then met with the sales manager, I think the name was Donny. He was more like the typical car dealer type, but he also kept things honest and realistic, which I can respect. He wrote out a deal to match the said online only dealers financing but warned that due to my situation to not expect that rate. He explained that a dealer can write anything and send you away with the car, but that makes no gauruntee that it will be the real rate. Only when a bank accepts your loan will a rate be negotiated based on risk factors. He said that the online dealer was most likely being dishonest. Based on my bad experience, I believed him. Come the next day I get a call from Joann in finance who is a real firecracker to say the least and is straight to the point. These are two qualities that I like and respect. I cant stand beating around the bush! Anyways, she worked out a deal with a finance company and made things happen! She was not able to get my rate that the online dealer promised, but it is pretty close! She also lowered the vehicle price a little to get my monthly payment to stay within my budget. I dont know of too many dealers that would be willing to do that. Thank you CardinaleWay Mazda for getting me into the vehicle I really wanted! New year, new vehicle, what else can a guy ask for! I highly recommend this dealer and especially recommend Riley to be your sales representative!

Not very impressed becuz tires rotated and 2 on left side overinflated. You Must have had one guy on one side and another on the other. Ride was totally different after i picked car up. thot i needed alignment. Not so just improper inflation. I had 42 lbs on left side and 35 on right side

I have tried multiple times now to get an oil change since I bought my CX 30. My car has reached 10000 miles now. Three times the service department has turned me because they dont have appointments. The gentleman at the service desk was very rude. Once I told him I am going to trade it out and get a volkswage again. Then they wanted to help me. 😒

A pleasant experience for buying a car. We did not feel pressured into buying, and they put the numbers in writing without the typical back and forth, back and forth (of course, with the internet competition, I think a lot of places are changing tactics on selling). Everyone seemed friendly, happy, and had good attitudes. When we decided to go ahead and buy, I told them I was in a hurry to get home and watch the game, so they turned on the NFL playoff game in the waiting area for me while they got the paper work ready; that was awesome! We felt that they did a nice job of explaining things to us and answering any questions. My wife is very happy with her new CX-5, and they even had a big bow to take pictures with; just a fun additional touch. Zoom zoom

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME HERE!!This dealership has given me absolutely worst car experience I have ever seen. They don’t care about you experience or keeping your business. They just care about money.I had bought a car there in December, and at the time of purchase the salesman and manager that was there at promised me a full tank of gas and detailing for the car before I took it home as they said. They didn’t even detail the car as some of the pictures show the lack of even vacuuming the car (it was much worse than it looks with Cheetos and Cheerios smashed in the carpet) unfortunately I lost the rest of the photos.Naturally I contacted the dealer to get this straightened out but they ignored me for 6 months straight even the General manager blew me off after directly messaging me (he said to contact him which I did and it has been a month later and he hasn’t even gotten back to me so much for “turning around my experience”But wait this isn’t the end of the story, I went in to the dealership to see if I could get this straightened out and they gave me the biggest walk around, I asked to speak to the manager and the this guy comes out who clearly is not the manager who quickly makes excuses as to why the manager couldn’t talk to me. It was terrible service he wouldn’t listen to me at all and would just repeat stuff like sorry I can’t help you there is nothing we can do. He was completely disrespectful to me he was on his phone scrolling through Instagram during the whole interaction and ignoring me. He didn’t treat me like a customer at all, he had an extreme attitude, and just plain wasted my time . This dealership will never get my business or my family’s business again ever, there are much better dealerships closer that deserve my money.

After looking at other dealerships over the valley for a vehicle and getting the run around, I was expecting to have a terrible experience here. I was pleasantly surprised when I was paired up with my salesperson, Darlene. From beginning to end, she was nothing but professional, attentive, and kind. There was no hassle and she was able to get me an amazing deal. She even went the extra mile of showing me all the ins-and-outs of my new vehicle and following up via email and a phone call to make sure I understood the technology. I could not recommend Darlene enough! Darlene, please keep up the great work.I knocked off a star because of my experience with the financial manager. While overall the transaction went well, I do believe that it was unprofessional for him to bring up politics while finalizing my car purchase. It made me extremely uncomfortable, and it was inappropriate.Other than that, great experience at CarindaleWay!

I came here off a bad experience from a major Chevy dealer. I was honestly just looking because I knew of the trade-in I would have to work. I came in honest with my motive and Luke helped me out, while sealing the deal in a natural way, no pressure, which was great. I appreciated that he kept my realistic options and needs in mind the whole time. After a short debate, I jumped in the choice and feel much better about my situation. Everything came together with Damons help after that. I was really educated and talked to in a way I could understand the process. They welcomed all questions and answered hypotheticals which helps with the doubt and anxiety, all things considered. I appreciated, most of all, they way I was treated as a person, a mom and a self-employed business. They kept me at the forefront and I didnt feel like I was being sold something for profit, but serviced. 10 out of 10 would recommend CardinaleWay, Like Abram and Damon Smith.

Was in the market for the new 2020 mazda3 hatchback. I put a request in online for more information and was briefly contacted by the internet sales director Corrie. She asked what I was looking for, payment I wanted and what I needed to have to buy today. She didn’t want to waste my time and I appreciated that as I function the same way. Corrie fought to get me the price I wanted and the payment I wanted without compromising my new car experience. I drove him that same night in a brand new 2020 mazda3 hatchback at an even better price than I told her I needed. I was quoted way higher on the same car from Horne and Camelback.Do yourself a favor and ask for Corrie. She won’t waste your time and make the process super easy and quick.

Love my gorgeous red 2018 Mazda CX5 and love this dealership!! Everyone is very nice and very professional! My vehicle was returned to me all washed, even the tires were polished! It looked like I just bought it!! I am very satisfied and impressed with the care that they gave to my CX5!! I will always buy Mazdas and it will always be at this dealership!!

Purchasing car from Cardinale Way Mazda was the easiest car I ever bought. Ritchie was awesome! He carefully explained all the cars features and made sure I understood how everything worked. We were able to purchase the car without ever going in to the dealer. Ritchie brought the car to us to test drive amd then again when it was ready a few days later. This was a great experience

This was by far the best car buying experience that I have ever had. Wayne was absolutely amazing! He got right back to me after I showed interest in a vehicle, took a video of my car to show that it was available and in the same condition as it was in the pictures. I told me what I was able to afford and what I wanted and he did exactly that. It was so easy and I didnt feel pressured to do anything! I will buy from them again!

Loved our experience with Wayne De Leo. He was super helpful and an honest business man. He really took the time to help me understand the functions of my new Mazda 30! We were actually enjoying our car buying experience (which is rare) until we met with the financial person. He was not as honest and we felt he tried to trick us into buying more warranty than we wanted. We almost signed on the dotted line until we noticed what was happening. That incident completely shot our enjoyable car shopping experience back down to the reason folks dread buying a car from a dealer. There would be 5 stars if we could have avoided that part of the deal because Wayne was top notch!! Thank you Wayne for all your help and I am loving my car!!!

Im so sad at how my experience with them turned out. My family has bought so many cars from this place and I just bought my first brand new car. The salesman who helped me, Richie, was amazing. Nick and Jerry in service are alright too. Every single person Ive spoken to since then has been the least helpful people Ive ever encountered. No customer service skills, no professionalism. The operators are unhelpful and dont care if you get assistance or not. I was supposed to receive money back from my trade in, were coming up on three months and that hasnt happened. It was a struggle to get them to fix the issues I had with my brand new car. Im just so tired of fighting with this place and these incompetent people. I used to refer everyone to this dealership, but probably will not anymore. The only reason this isnt a one star review is because Richie was great and I love my car itself, everything else was less than subpar.

Austin greeted us as soon as we pulled up and was friendly and eager to help us find the car wed been eyeing online. Usually I feel that dealerships push to spend the most, but I felt that Austin truly wanted to help me stay in my budget. The employees here dont work on commission, so although there wasnt room to haggle with their one price tag, it felt like a more honest customer experience. Jarvis helped me to find the best rate and lien holder and save me money where he could find it. I would definitely recommend this place and look here to shop in the future. Perfect if you know exactly what you want and agree with the price you see online. No surprises here! :)

I bought my 2020 Mazda 3 from here about a month ago & I couldn’t be happier! There was no pressure from anyone at the dealership and they found the perfect car for me on the first shot (which is really hard because I’m picky about cars) I was very nervous about buying a new car but everyone there-especially my salesman Richie were very helpful and made the experience wonderful. Professional, personable, honest, no hassle with prices, great customer service! I was looking for a car with certain criteria. My salesman called me with a car he found that matched. I live several hours away from their dealership. My salesman helped me get all paperwork to test drive and have a back up contract to purchase the vehicle before I even left my home so that things would go fast once I arrived. When I purchased, there was a slow leak in one the tire from the beginning. It turned out the tire needed to be replaced. The dealership went above and beyond to make it right. I would definitely recommend to my family and friends. This was my second vehicle purchase at their dealership and both times we were impressed.

Austin is the best salesman I’ve ever interacted with. Yes I was 19 when I got my Mustang GT off the lot but I love how he approached me with confidence and didn’t doubt me on getting a vehicle and corrie in finance is spectacular. They both are very real and up front. I felt no pressure when I went in a did not feel an inch of regret driving my car out. I love this place and I will definitely take my girlfriend here to buy her first vehicle. Hopefully Austin and Corrie are still here. I suggest this place to ANYONE, so before you try van chevy or Chapman, etc... go here first!

Buying a vehicle can be such a STRESSFUL process. After a few bad experiences, I was at my wits end. Luckily these guys were polite, patient, quick, and helpful. Will sell your information to anyone who will buy it! Give them any phone number but your real one! I get 5-10 calls PER DAY asking if I want to extend my warranty on my Mazda that I bought here in 2014 and get this...sold it in 2017!! The reason I know it’s from here also is because the telemarketers say my last name with an I instead of an O and even after correcting Cardinale Way multiple times, they still had it wrong in their system. Lose my information please!

While shopping for cars, you also shop for dealers- walk into a dealer wanting to see a particular car and its 1980s, its a bait car to upsell you into more money & car loan. The folks at Cardinale Way Mazda are nothing like that! They are awesome, honest, upfront and fun to work with! I got the car I saw advertised with no BS, took 2 hrs to do all the paperwork, and they even delivered to my house! Im very happy with my purchase and yes, I recommend them to anyone who still fears crooked car salesmen!

Stopped in to look at and drive a used Mazda I noticed online. Greeted promptly and took a test drive. When I returned to the dealership and mentioned price, I was told that they were a one price dealer meaning they extensively research the vehicles and price them to where they cannot take even one dollar less for the car than the advertised price. Since the advertised price was, in my opinion, a little high, I left without making a purchase. I went home, had supper, and then checked the CardinaleWay website and noticed that the advertised price on the car I had looked at had been marked down! So much for being a true one price dealer, and so much for being truthful with customers.

I wont let one bad apple spoil my review... Great, low-pressure, actually helpful sales folks, especially Danny and Dustin. Loved working with Nelson in finance (When is the last time anyone could say that?) I was looking at a used car and also ran into the We dont negotiate issue, so I walked out. Ultimately, they met my needs and I am grateful for the flexibility.After taking the used car to my mechanic for an inspection, I relayed my concerns to the salesperson and was introduced to the sales manager who immediately took a defensive/combative stance rather than actually listening to me. He set out to discredit and disparage my mechanic of twenty years and prove how wrong we both were. The solution was pretty simple in the end. Simply show me what the dealer had done to prep the car. Is this the old good cop/bad cop game? Or does he have an ego issue? It seemed so incongruous that this one abrasive person worked with all the other really nice folks. Perhaps that is just the nature of the sales manager position in the old school car sales game. Too bad that my most vivid memory had to be a negative one.

Typical car dealership, give you their word while lying. Went in with an approval from a bank they work with, informed them I wasnt interested in any other banks for financing and was assured they wouldnt shop me elsewhere since i was already approved. They must get a percentage for financing because I got alerts they STILL sent my information to 3 others banks. When I called to complain and sent emails I got assuring my credit wouldnt be shopped, they said we were only trying to help by getting a better rate. Completely disregarded their word and my request that i didnt need a better rate as I was good with my approval. Manager Donny said reach out but did nothing.
