Clean, organized, amazing variety, warm, friendly and helpful staffs. I must have talked with 4 or 5 of them, because some of them just overheard what I was looking for and rendered their knowledge, so wonderful, like a family!I got everything I planned to get, from veggies to spices to fruits to herbal and beauty products, unbelievable, quick and painless. Highly recommend.
I love this little market! There is a great selection of fresh & prepackaged food imported from India. There is a large selection of deserts to try that my children love. My husband loves the packaged spices I buy from there to make our own authentic Indian dishes at home. Come and explore a slice of India in this gem of a market. Find exotic gifts. They also have bulk items. I sure love shopping here. So much to try. The in-store restaurant serves take out so there is no need to deny yourself of the pleasures of their professionally prepared meals.
Basic indian necessities with limited options. Seasonal things are generally out of stock, so dont expect to get everything you need.
...the owner is pleasant and helpful...the staff is also friendly and courteous...the produce is adequate as well, esp., guavas in season...indian cookies/biscuits, teas/coffees, rice/flour/grains also are abundant...utensils, like tavas (iron griddles for making rotis) or steel cookware can be added......food: did not try chaats/snacks...food items (thalis, including sabzi/veggies, daals/lentils, and the like) are ambiguously spiced - are they punjabi or gujarati (our standard is, e.g., rajdhani in artesia, CA)? also, they are overly salty and we are sure the cooking is some form of salad/soybean/hydrogenated oil, much like all indian/ethnic restaurants, that do not use peanut/coconut/mustard oils/ghee...rotis are not made from whole wheat flour......if they can fix the food, five stars, for sure!!!
They dont quite tell you that its an Indian market, and they dont sell any other type of Asian foods. Otherwise, theyre not so bad. Prices are decent, but the employees are not always the most polite.
I had a very bad experience shopping at this store. They are not clear with their refund policies at all. I had to refund one stuff which I never opened and it’s only few days I bought it. I went back to the store and asked them that I wanted to return and wanted the refund. They took at least 15 mins. to confirm and decided not to refund with no reasons at all and I had to get other stuffs instead. They seem to be least bothered with the customer service and satisfaction. I m no going into the store any more 😡
We go to Lotus market and restaurant pretty often. They have a new owner apparently and then food is so much better. They have an asian indian combination menu which I love. There are so many more menu choices.
Indian Grocery Store! They do not sell items from other Asian countries.A lot of the fresh produce lacked labels and price tags or the labels were with the wrong items.
We regularly order food for dine in but today we ordered for take away. Food is tasty as always but the quantity is way lesser than dine in. I hope this is just a one-time thing.
I call it the Asian Walmart place is creeping towards a five star review like Asiana but lacks a full food court. Yet it is the retail of cleaning tools to a large grocery store all in one place. Mesa has really brought a welcoming developments. What a strong step forward for businesses and communities to grow.
Great indian grocery with a lots of options for each item. There is a food court inside.
Staff very much cooperative appreciate them name the things they are available
Nice place. Little bit price
Great stuff to use for my cooking & great veggies.
Love the fresh food here and the people are very helpful. You can find any Indian grocery item here
Id say the best and exclusive collection of South Asian products, especially Indian. This one is the sought after store near ASU I guess due to the wide range of products available and the reasonable price, although its placed pretty far from Tempe. Plus, make sure you register for the loyal customer program which is pretty cool. And Lotus Deli is convenient to get a quick bite with friends and family (and they have take-out too).
The quality of the groceries is always old. Rice seems to have bugs consistently. The rajma, dals and chan as seem to have artificial coloring to make the product more desirable. Everything looks bleached and processed. A couple of the staff members are super friendly best rest are not customer centric. Prices for namkeen are outrageous. Dont even get me started on the quality of food at the tiny canteen on the side.Nowadays people will buy/ eat anything and have to quality standards.I dont need it to be a big name brand to see quality in a product. The taste, aroma, and texture of finished and how a product interacts with complementary ingriendients speaks for itself. But either my taste has changed or everything tastes old.
Such an interesting place. Alot oc things to try. Great vegan ingredients and veggies.Wonderful offering dishes and beautiful saris and things to be had. I will have fun shopping there.
You have to be careful of what you pick, most of their products are expired …I recently bought a white vatana(something like LIMA beans) .. I soaked one cup and found half of it were spoilt, it had blackish spots (something like fungi). If the store doesn’t take so much efforts to clear out old stock, it’s not worth visiting.. :-(
I love coming here! They have some really amazing finds. I came for Jack Fruit and Burdock Root on this trip ( picked up some Neem tooth paste and fresh Tumaric as well)The prices here on every thing, Id say 80% of the goods are priced very fair. Some of the more common American type brands are a bit pricey or marked up (much like convince store prices), which dosnt bother me because Im not there for those items. This Market is orgaized very well and is very CLEAN!I have not tried their fresh sea food yet, I do like their frozen section. The produce section is my favorite! So much to explore.I always find something new every trip. They are stocked witj Asian,Indian, Spanish and more style goods.I can count on Lotus Market to have what I need. This is a Mega store! Its easy to spend a Sunday afternoon here. The cafe has yummy foods and Boba Tea. The other little stores inside here have some cool items. For the market every 10.00 you spend you get 1.00 off the next time you shop. The coupon is good for 60 days( Im not sure if you can combine with other coupons).Super worth the trip. The plaza the market is in has some eaterys, a discount store, a Reflexology clinic and a Dispencery. So you could make a whole day of it,checking out the whole plaza really. This is a very cool Gem. you owe it to your self explore its offerings.
Great prices! And so many options to buy from.Just that the washrooms were in unbearable condition, when we went there.
Very friendly and helpful. Awesome. I wanted to give more than 5 stars .
Was great with the buffet. Menu items need improvement. Well try again but we say that every time we go there and are disappointed. Lets get it back up to a 4 5 stars where you were before in our opinion.
Less expensive than competitors such as Patel Brothers. Highly recommended for Indian groceries.
Almost everything one could want in an Indian household life is available. The food is delicious. Authentic Indian experience.
There prices are little expensive. But the veggies are super fresh. I usually find everything I need from Indian grocery.
Nice size lots of choices of east India foods! Good for vegan and most choices! Also a good little cafe medium prices!
Love the store but they definitely need my food selections in their small in-store cafe.
Was a spirit Halloween store. The store goes on for days.
The people working here are great but they did not have a lot of the things I was looking for to make an authentic asian dish.
Been there once, you can get pretty much every Indian foods and groceries but some wont be in stock sometimes. The prices are better compared to other Indian stores such as desi plaza or Bharat bazaar. There is a chat section (a small restaurant) where you can get chats like paav bhaji, samosa, meals, etc. The taste didnt match a typical Indian touch but it was good enough.
They make really good indian gujarati food on order. Worth a try.
Good stuff avilable
Jay is the best at the lotus market, he is very knowledgeable knows lots about the product. Excellent customer service every time I go to lotus he is there and tries to listen and gives updated information about the product.
Awesome place to shop anything. Indian and nice vegetarian cooked dishes. yummy
Almost all indian products you can think of is available.
Well Managed and friendly staffs and Manager is very helpful also Good selection of authentic Ingredients Produce and fresh Vegetable verity with lowest price always and even Hot food in Lotus Deli too
Great indian store, highlight is their in store restaurant
The store is small but almost every indian grocery item will be available in there.
Nice people. Indian food is great.
A popular Indian store, where you would be getting more or less every Indian spices and vegetables.. One thing which I didnt find in any Indian store that I got here and i.e. curry leaves.. But
The overall grocery store is good. Please dont buy company-Desi Rasoi frozen vegetables from here. For the first time, I got frozen peas from here and they were such a waste. Not at all fresh but spoiled (brown in color). Please get these frozen vegetables from Walmart/frys instead. Better quality any day for just 88 cents.
Good selection, many prices not marked, nice store
One of the oldest and still best Indian groceries in Mesa/Chandler/Tempe locations. Always has fresh stock of supplies, huge collections of Indian food, veggies and ready to eat snacks. Has a nice little food joint serving North Indian style gourmet food. A small beauty saloon for ladies and a boutique. Been around for 5 yrs and I have seen many new groceries stories stood up but was never able to match this store.
Indian grocery stores in general aren’t clean but this one really takes the award for dirty rotten vegetables. It is good for spices and their customer service is okay too.
Indian snacks collection is good. Miscellaneous house hold is ok. Vegetables could be more fresh. If you dont have time to travel and need quick indian groceries then its a better bet. In store restaurant is also available but limited items now.
One of the best places to get Indian groceries in Phoenix Valley
Great place to shop for Indian snacks and spices. Got the nostalgic feeling when going through the aisle.
Great find. Friendly staff
Different different types of food available.
Called to see if they sold black garlic and was told no they did not,I asked employee if he knew what it was and informed he did not. So he doesnt know what it is,therefore it does not exist, so obviously the store doesnt have it. There was no attempt to ask for info, nothing, just we dont have it . Interesting way to DEAL with the public,Thanks
Can easily find everything I want
The restaurant is really good and fresh and the vegetables are average. I have been shopping here for Indian spices which is pretty good. The reason for 2 stars is cause the other products like snacks like lays and chips or frooti and out dated. I bought a pack or chips manufactured in India and was happy to have to Indian taste only to find out that it expired last month and had gone really bad. Really disappointed. Hope they restock these items to fresh ones.
Very good Indian grocery store in the city. They have got plenty of Indian groceries available. They often have very good deals on grocery. The vegetable are mostly fresh. The bulk snacks are really fresh and tasty.
Things need to be more organized. Needs more cleaning. All stale vegetable needs to be removed.
Well stocked and friendly, they have everything you need!
Idk enough about it. I bought ginger and was omw. Very friendly staff tho.
All kind of Indian stuff available right from vegetables to amul products.
Not that big but you will find most of the things. Great for vegetables and price is decent.
They have everything you need to make your next meal from India in your own kitchen. Helpful, friendly staff to answer any questions you might have. And they even have a cafe´ if you dont want to make it yourself👍
Had all the basic Indian snacks and spices I needed.
Very good selection of a lot of unique things at good prices. Its always interesting to see what Ill find in there next. It isnt just all typical Asian food theres a lot of different cultural Cuisines and ingredients that you can find there. Theres also the basics if you need. The store was pretty clean but you can definitely smell the fish counter and butcher counter. I think thats because they do all of their own processing there.
I love the Lotus market!!!
Didnt get anything I was looking for
Were from out of town looking for a vegan restaurant. Theres a little tiny restaurant in the back of the Lotus Deli. You order at the counter and then come and pick up your food. Its excellent traditional Indian cuisine. Prices are better than reasonable. The staff are very nice.
Indian items for cheap price..
Very good place
Always good selection. The have few brands and items missing due to the pandemic.
WOW This is some of the must authentic and delicious Indian food weve had in quite some time. Super inexpensive. We ordered two appetizers and two meals for only $23. Flavor town. Weve decided its our new date night spot.
Wow. I can find products that cant be found at regular grocery stores! Amazing, including restaurant inside. I love it.
Food section is worth trying... If you want to have good north Indian street food and appetizers its a must try in Chandler
Love this little market. They have just about everything and everyone is so nice
Nice, authentic
Lotus Market is a very large, comprehensive Indian grocery plus it has a small restaurant where you can order things like samosas and other lunch items. I was very pleased with the selection. They had fresh okra at the size that my husband likes - something that is difficult to find in other markets. The checkouts are modern and speedy and were staffed by people who appeared to know what they were doing. It was very easy to follow what was being charged on a large screen at the front of the counter so I have to disagree with the earlier negative comment about the checkout.
Overall I found what I was looking for. Cleanliness would help especially serving customers with dirty masks Really masks are cheap
Great place for Indian groceries!
They have improved on keeping the shop orderly and the vegetables were pretty fresh.
Poor customer service from check out clerks in front many times they are under staffed, can’t find anyone to help find thingsWhen they run out if things it takes a while to restockHygene and cleanliness is lacking in the way they store the fresh vegetables and perishable items
Good shop. You will get very indian grocery.Very good customer service.
They have a lot of great Indian food, spices, fruits, veggies, but dont expect any meat products. Strictly vegetarian. The 3 stars was for the cleanliness or the lack of should be said.
Lots of interesting new things. Restaurant was very good as well.
This is the best Indian store in Phoenix. Their product selection is insanely amazing. I have never seen these many products in ANY Indian Store, and I have been to many stores. Their staff is most friendly. The cashier made my day when she gave my kid lollipop to make him stop crying. Their prices are also really good, best in Arizona. Those in west valley dont hesitate to come down, its worth the drive. One suggestion I would like to make to store owner is that please use better quality T-shirt bags to put our products.
What a great store & Indian carry out place! And a very nice welcome for my first visit to Phoenix.Their mango lassi is the best Ive had. And everything we ordered from their café was delicious and very reasonably priced. The market area was very well stocked with unique, hard-to-find, ethnic imported items. The cashier was very friendly & cute as well!I plan to revisit this place every time I visit Phoenix for sure.
A Highly Well Rounded Indian Establishment...Almost Like A Brother From Another Mother. Spacious, Organized And The Smells From That Kitchen...Oomy! Shop, See Something Different, Eat; They Will Welcome The Company. Put Their Name On The Sign In That Spot You See.
Dont forget to try their paneer Kati!It is the best!
Delicous quick bite home style Indian food. Casual sit down dining area within Indian Grocery. Very kind and pleasant service. Reasonably priced. They use disposable cups and silverware. If you are eco friendly, then consider bringing your own water bottle, napkin, silverware. We have made several visits here and will keep coming back in future.
The best Indian grocery store in phoenix metro area. Get the groceries at the most affordable prices anywhere in valley. Fresh Vegetables are another highlight of the shop.
Most of the grocery you can find here, but the vegetables are usually not fresh. The restaurant inside shop is good.12/06/20: The store is updated and much clean now. Also the vegetables seems to be fresh. Certainly more competition may have helped them improve .
Good Indian grocery store within a feasible range and decent price range
This place used to be a really great place but they have changed ownership. It used to be a bunch of women running the cafe but now it looks like the Taliban has taken over.
Great place for shopping indian groceries
