I have used Solar Car Wash for over 3 three years with good results. Today was horrible. I dropped my truck off for a Full Service Blast car wash. I specifically picked this service as I wanted to make sure my large aluminum wheels were cleaned and shinny. The service with the upcharge for the truck was $30.99. I dropped the tuck off so there was no rush. The job they did cleaning the wheels was really bad which is disappointing becuase they specifically state that the wheels are cleaned with this service. Furthermore, this is a Ram 2500 and the openings in the wheels are large and easy to clean. Disappointing. Also this service includes vacuuming the interior, dusting surfaces and treating the upper dash. The vacuuming was poor. They did not even vacuum out the utility trays or handle openings on the inside door pannels. Finally, the biggest reason that I am writing this review is because of the poor customer service. After I waited to check in my vehicle outside, I went into the counter to pay my bill indoors. Waited for 5 or so minutes until someone came to accept my payment. When I returned to pick up the truck I waited for 5-7 minutes again for someone to get me my keys so I could leave. Over my last few visits here, I always have to wait to pay my bill or pick up one of my cars. I suggested to the counter person that they should consider putting in a bell or something so people did not have to wait at the checkout counter. The response I received was very direct and with the tone that was demeaning like I was asking a stupid question. The response was simply, That is just how it is around here. We are short staffed and people have to do other things. I understand it is tough to get employees, but a few pleasant words such as I am sorry you had to wait or thank you for your patience, but a flat out statement of this is how it is around here is very unprofeessiona and provided me no motivation to return to this location again to spend money.I work in Orlando and try to spend my money where I live (Merritt Island) and support the local economy. I want to support local business but I also do not want to be treated poorly or accpet subpar work.Being polite goes a long way.

Didnt call me when my car was done, but got a sweet tea stain out of my car seat.

After an hour and 15 minutes waiting for my truck, the one thing I asked them to take care of wasnt done. I asked if they would clean my tires and they didn’t. The truck not clean… the manager came out and told me that was all they could do for the tires. I do not recommend this car wash. It might be worthwhile if you have a lot of time to waste and you wash your car first.

We pulled up in a mid-size hatchback (not a wagon, not an SUV, not a VAN) and were advised that ALL vehicles other than sedans are a 1$ up charge even though the sign says 1$ up charge for Vans and SUVs. The staff was very nice but were adamant that this was enforced by management as an up charge for oversized vehicles. I tried explain that the rule is ambiguous because it is not posted AND there are smaller vehicle types that qualify as not a sedan; like a Ford Fiesta or a Honda Fit...etc. They insisted that those vehicles would also be charged as oversized because they have s hatch. There must be some miscommunication between the management and the staff on this policy. We will come back when this policy gets refined.

Saves the hassle of washing and vacuuming my car myself. Attentive staff which do a thorough job and satisfactory service. Definitely work the money!

Do not visit this car wash right now. They do not have enough employees to be open. I spent one hour there and was third in line. My car was not even touched and I got in my car and drove away. When I went to find a manager they were moving items out of an office and had no idea what was going on in the front lines. They also left my car running the entire time and used up all my gas. Finally the last time I was there they locked the keys inside my car and the Machine put a dent in my front bumper. They had to pick the lock to get the door open. I cannot recommend this business to my family, friends, or even strangers.

The absolute best car wash on the island! I got the eclipse wash for 21.95 which included them completely vacuuming out the interior of the car including the back of my SUV, they wipe down all the surfaces inside with that protectant, they cleaned my wheels, and made the car look and smell great. When it came through the automatic wash they finished with hand polishing. Don’t forget to leave these hard-working people a great tip when you leave. Highly recommended

1st wash of the new car here, great to go somewhere that opens the doors and wipes both the jam and the door down to insure a good cleaning

After waiting for over 2.5hrs for full hand-wash of truck (w/appointment for ~$60), it was returned with no interior cleaning, so ran through again (now done in a rush). After leaving, found missed half the back seats and floors for wipe down and cleaning after being charged the premium for larger vehicle. Called and was hung up on twice by women at desk. Have used them in the past but never again. Short on staff means slow, but is not an excuse for poor quality/customer relations.Update: DID have an appointment, walked-up to the desk the day before to make it in person. Physically saw it hand-written into the book.

Decent detail but I dont think it was good enough for the price.

I love this car wash. They do a beautiful job for a very reasonable price and the staff are all super nice. Its very convenient being right next to Dunkin Donuts too do you can grab a treat while youre waiting. Theres seating inside and outside, and usually the wait is not too long.

Disappointing, the interior was not properly cleaned. They did not even attempt to wipe the drink holder and just closed it instead. The rest of the interior was pretty much the same sub par job with arm rests, dashboard, and instrument panel left covered in dust and dirt. The employees are very nice but the job was just not done completely.

Good customer service. I thought the prices were very reasonable. Upon entering, leave your name and keys with the attendant and what kind of wash you want. They will take care it and clean the inside (if selected) and then put it through the wash for the outside. They have monitors so you can view your car at all times. Waiting areas inside and out.

Made an appointment for 9:00am to get my seats shampooed and when I dropped my car off I asked for an estimated time and the lady told me “I don’t know” with an attitude so I left went for a little walk and came back about an hour and 15 minutes later and my car still had not been touched I asked to speak to a manager and the lady at the front desk said “ go ahead” I aske dare you the manager and she said “ I just said go ahead yeah I’m the manager” with extreme attitude so I proceed to explain that I made an appointment and need my car done and then she hangs up on me!! So I go into the car wash and speak to the real manager and after our talk he says “sorry do you still want us to wash it?” This place will waste your time and the customer service is absolutely horrible

My car gets washed but it has almost always taken a bit longer than one would expect. Dont go if your in a hurry, it will not happen.

Had to vacuum again when I got home. Also broke my rear door lock.Worst car wash Ive experienced.

Made an appointment at 9am to get our seats shampooed, went back at 10am and our car had not been touched. We called them after leaving to speak to the manager about the issue and the manager herself first gave us an attitude then proceeded to hang up when we were upset with the unprofessional tone we were receiving. We tried to call back and they disconnected their phones so we could not call back. Super unprofessional of this manager and I will not recommend this place to anyone because of the service we received.Edit: we ended up going back to speak to the manager in person and turns out the woman that told us she was the manager was in fact NOT the manager and lied so just another reason to not trust these people.

Paid over 175.00$ full the full service, everything. They only ran it through the automatic wash and waxed. Did not do door trim and jams. Seats were not touched, all interior plastics not touched, did not wax the roof! Just a quick wipe and they send you on your way. It’s a joke. Told me to come back the next morning and then wanted to charge me another $55 on top of what I have already paid, are you kidding me! It’s a waste of your time. Find a good mobile guy!!

I would not recommend this place, and will not be returning. I brought my new truck here spent $30, and when they were finished my weather tech floor mat was missing. I told lady at the desk they looked for it then told me that it must not have been there when I came in. They reviewed camera, and still questioned my integrity. I had to get police involved before they finally admitted they put it in a different car by mistake.I still have not heard from management about replacement of my mats. Save your self the headache, and take you car somewhere else.

The management is completely unprofessional and has no care or concern for their customers. It is basically entitled children that have been handed down a company from their parents and apparently have no sales, customer service or management skills whatsoever. Its like little kids playing make believe business with no accountability for their actions. There are many other local car washes that Im sure would be happy to have your business!

Usually this place is great. Today must have been an off day. I paid for interior vacuum and exterior wash. There is still so much left on the floor of my back seat, you would never know it was vacuumed. Also, came out of the car wash with two wheels completely dry. No pressure rinse nor did the car wash touch the front tires/wheels. Pretty disappointed in today’s service.

Go on a non busy day, in and out. Cant beat the price for wash and hand dry of vehicle.

People there arent very friendly. It takes 30 minute for just a wash. No one there is wearing a mask, apparently theyre not aware that there is a deadly pandemic or they just dont care if they infect other people. Will never go there again.

This is an excellent car wash facility. They are quick, efficient and very thorough. The staff s very friendly and courteous. I was extremely pleased with the car and effort they demonstrated when washing my new 2020 Jaguar. I highly recommend them. Their waiting are is clean and has WiFi and a charging station for tablets and cellphones. Very thoughtful about their customers.

This experience was on 11/19/2020.Please note: I couldnt choose zero stars, and whatever happened to the customer is always right.I had the strangest experience. I went in for an oil change (same business) and should have sensed the kind of people I was dealing with when the mechanic peeled off the sticker from my previous oil change and said to his helper hey, he got his last change from (name of competitor), maybe you should check for leaks. Whatever. The work was done fine, maybe a bit pricey but hey, I had a coupon for $5 off. When I was given my paperwork the mechanic said that this would entitle me to a free car wash next door.The next morning (I live 1/4 mile away) I pulled into the car wash and showed the attendant my invoice for my oil change and explained I was there to have my free car wash performed. He returned with the car wash receipt and I went inside to settle up. I handed the woman at the register the receipt along with the oil change invoice and she glared at it for a few moments and said this is only good for the same day you had the oil change in a nasty tone of voice, clearly implying that there was no point in arguing with her.I walked over to the oil change building, told the mechanic, who ushered me into the managers office. I explained that no one mentioned this same day restriction, that I only live 1/4 mile away and had I been told I would have come back again. He scowled and scribbled a note on my invoice and said take this to the car wash cashier. I went back to the car wash with the note and the woman grumbled and said thatll be $11.73 ( or something like that). I said I didnt understand, I was here for my FREE car wash. She said the wash slip the attendant gave me was for the ELITE ($21.99 or so) wash. I said I showed him the oil change invoice and clearly said I was here for my FREE car wash. I said All I expect is what your company offered me, nothing more, nothing less.I went into the the waiting area as my car began its way through the wash machine, and the car wash manager poked his head into the waiting area and snapped something about checking with the lube manager and he swore they told me about the same day restriction (duh, how else would he respond, CYA ya know) and that I then threatened that I was going to call the police on them (what a joke).In the end they ran my car through the wash machine (probably without any soap) and they didnt turn on the blowers to dry it off. I have never been treated with so much hostility, all over them failing to tell me that the FREE car wash was only valid the same day as the oil change. I should have raised the red flag when the mechanic started out his work by bad mouthing their competition, guess where Im going back to now.In closing, I have been using that car wash for at least 20 years, though I believe new owners took over around 5 years ago. Maybe theres been a more recent change in owner/management? All I can say is get a life people, what a rotten stink you made over a lousy FREE car wash. I will never return and have informed everyone in my circle of friends about my experience. Im sure theyll pass it on even further. Good riddance.PS I glanced over at some other reviews and I see that Im not alone, though I cant stress how much hostility they showed to me, this must be a challenging place to work at, Im sure. I.E. if they treat a customer that badly, I can only imagine how they would treat an employee. Just look at my case, the mechanic must have been so terrified to tell the truth about omitting telling me about the same day restriction, he probably thought hed get fired over a free car wash. So they took it out on me instead. What a class act.

Went to have my car washed to remove the salt from the snow storm we had upstate. I did not realize this state is not required to wear masks. Well I’m not required to allow you to go inside my car without PPE. Two workers were very unprofessional with me when I explained I just needed my car washed from outside. The world is in the middle of a pandemic, whether you want to believe it or not, I hope none of you go through with a loss due to COVID because you are too ignorant to understand.

Just had my Audi SUV at this business for detailing and hand wax. Paid just shy of $80 and there are still bugs in the front bumper vinyl. Also wanted the back cleaned up from concrete bags that had dust on the back liner and side cloth. I even took the time to point this out and was inspected when making the appointment last week. Cup holders and door handle openings are not wiped out and have crumbs so it looks like it wasnt even vaccumed out. I really would expect more for the advertised service that I paid. I will be looking for someone else to do a better detail job. I would have even paid more money than the $80 if they would just do real detail work. So maybe if you are just getting a simple cleaning the place is OK. Definately not using them for my yearly wax and detail.

This is the 3rd time I’ve given your car wash a chance. After today, I’m done. I paid $42 for you to leave your soaking wet rag on my back seat, not even wipe my back seat, leave crumbs in the door, rims not cleaned, floor mats half thrown back in, windshield still has handprints on the inside. I waited almost 2 hours only to be extremely frustrated. How is this ok?

Solar car wash had me impressed with the job they did for the price...until I got home and looked in the back seat to a big greasy looking hand print right in the center of my back seat! Definitely not one of my kids, it had to have been made by someone who was detailing the car. I later noticed a few little things...protectant not wiped all over so splotches on some areas, etc...but for a $40 complete detailing I am still giving 4 stars. Little mistakes that could be avoided for sure, so just working a little more thoroughly and it would be a total 5 star review.

This the epitome of a 1/2 a** carwash. It is a bunch of teenagers doing a very fast once over for the interior portion of the cleaning. So many missed spots, so much vacuuming missed, so much wiping down with Armor All missed, and they have the nerve to charge $42 with tax for the full package. I wouldnt even let these people wash my cheap reading glasses from CVS

Needed to clean the Van out. They did a good overall job. It took longer than they estimated by about an hour. The price was a bit higher than would have preferred but we were getting the carpet washed, so it should cost more to do the work.

39.99 for solar extreme and had to wipe down myself because door jams and hatch still had water coming out. Also had to have it vacuumed twice!!!! To quick don’t take their time mommy could care less. This after you sent me a text stating you miss me and 20% off!!!!! Terrible job again!!!!!

I have been a customer for several years . I went in today and got an oil change ($100 full synthetic)and that comes with a car wash. The car wash apparently is only a rinse I had love bugs still on the car. I went in talked the manager he could not have been any less concerned actually told me in front of other customers the free wash with oil change is just a wash no prep is done with that wash this was the young manager several employees told they where sorry that he is an idiot.

Poor wash job. Wheels still had brake dust on them. Windows washed with dirty rags. Car smelled like smoke. Saw one of the attendants smoking while drying with the doors open. Had to tell them to dry the rest of the car. NEVER AGAIN!

Nobody was wearing a mask during the pandemic and they didnt clean under my floor mats

Took my car in for detailing and ended up with scratches on both side mirrors and wax all over the car that wasn’t wiped off. Have been in several times to speak to managers and have been dismissed, saying someone will call me. I went back in today and was told to buy some touch up paint and bring the car in so they can touch it up. They do substandard work and don’t take responsibility for their mistakes.

First time customer and was hoping to find a good place and that didnt happen. The young man who greeted me at my car was nice. I paid $32 for the Blast Full Service, not to mention at the end I tipped an additional $10 for the crew to split.Full service? My trunk wasnt vacuumed, the door pockets had dirt in them, the dash was wiped down but not well and I didnt even check the exterior job. I didnt expect everything to be polished because that was the next step up but $32 for an incomplete vacuum job and a car wash through the machine. Ill keep looking. Dont waste your money!!

A great car wash to go if you dont feel like washing it yourself, takes about 10 minutes on a busy day, so dont expect it to take 5 minutes on a busy day. All in all for a cheap price you get what looks like a new car (if you didnt already reck your own).

This is the best wash you could ever go to the GM is the best you could ask for and so is the service all them smiling and laughing. A special shout out to Austin Millner who detail my 4x4 dodge diesel perfectly after I got it stuck in the I will forever use this place its so amazing. I took my car and my wifes truck up to get cleaned, vacuumed, shampooed, and ozone clean. My wifes truck now has deep buffer marks in the rear window, the front window looks completely untouched (but was sprayed that is obvious since it wasnt wiped) dirt everywhere, dash was filthy still, cookers untouched. Mustang same except the front windshield was wiped clean, back window completely untouched. Car still riddled with leaves, supposedly they waxed my car, there use no evidence at all that it was waxed. $200 (discounted due to this being or second trip up in 24 hours) and we still need to go somewhere else to get a car wash.

Did a great job, however, I have a white car so had to remind them to clean the area below the door since automatic wash did not get it for some reason.

Really disappointed with the level of service the last couple of times I have gone. They used to do a pretty reasonable job cleaning the interior but the last couple of times it has barely been wiped and vacuumed. For the price I think I am done giving chances.

Good car wash! Sometimes it gets pretty crowded and can take over an hour, but on a good day these guys work fast and well. I just go for a basic wash every so often and I have no complaints. Workers are friendly and theres a nice waiting area inside. If I know its gonna take longer, Ill hang out at the Dunkin next door.

Paid $100 to get the car buffed and waxed. Definitely buffed but No sign of wax applied. Not soft like normal wax. Left a spot for interior cleaning. 2 inch spot just off center console where I spilled yogurt. It wasn’t cleaned. Not very happy.On the positive side, Nice people!

Paid $40 for their Solar Extreme Shine. When the car came out the first time, it still had dirt all over it. In the door handle wells, on the hood, the rear hatch and bird poop still on the sunroof. I asked if that was normal for a $40 car wash. The guy said we could run it again. They did not pay attention to the areas I pointed out and just ran the car a second time. This time I just got in the car and left. Got it home and had to finish washing the car. They did a poor job on the wheels too. This was a $10 wash at best that cost me $40. I would not recommend them and I will not return. They have no attention to detail at all.

We have been going here for years but this was our last visit. After spending $40 for the extreme wash, my black Ford Explorer was filthy on the back, back window wasnt cleaned, water marks everywhere, steering wheel wasnt cleaned, gear shift boot wasnt cleaned (still had dirt and dust undisturbed), dash was unevenly wiped so there were smears. Yes this may sound petty but my radio was blaring some other station....... keep your hands off my stereo! This vehicle is a 2018 and only 2 months old. This isnt the first vehicle that wasnt properly cleaned, but it would be the last.
