This is a clean and well stocked store. I found everything I was looking for and the staff is nice and friendly. They rent Penske trucks here. Also, their tool rental selection is huge!

Home Depot,Please recognize your Sale Cashier James as an amazing employee. I was online with another patron who didnt seem to have enough money to buy something. I stepped in and ask James to allow me to purchase this for the customer, everyone said have a great day and she went on about her life.I noticed when James was ringing me up he applied a 10% discount and wasnt going to tell me. I asked him why is he applying the discount and he whispered, paying it forward. It was truly touching to see great people in this world and the next time I see James, I wish I could hug the guy. Home Depot you have a customer in me for life!

I needed a few keys made but there was nobody in that section which is typical. I saw a lady from a different department and she said she would be happy to make them for me. She was nice and very helpful but Home Depot needs to work on making sure there are workers in these departments. Its definitely not because of the pandemic, its always been like that.

I went to purchase a pressure washer at Home Depot and of course its on top shelf still on a pallet. Was helped by the gentleman in garden who was very polite and was very helpful to get fork lift to retrieve from shelf. So then the next morning went to put together and the hardware bag was missing from box just my luck. So I called Merritt Island Home Depot and talked to Emily which transferred me to garden and it was a different gentleman from the day before, who was equally helpful. Explained to him my concern and told him I was on my way from about 20 miles away. When I arrived I talked to Emily again and she directed me to garden where they had already retrieved the pallet from shelf again and already had my hardware kit out of box and ready for me. Well handled issue from the staff at Merrit Island Home Depot. Thank you.

Experienced people working make a difference. Looking for obscure set screw that held on old shower handle in plumbing dept. Employee immediately takes me to hardware isle pulls open a drawer that holds this type of screw in various diameters and lengths. I am house flipper for last 12 yrs and can find most items easily but would never have found these screws. He said has been at HD for 28 yrs. Thanks HD for hiring and keeping this type of employee. Makes a difference.

Had to buy a post here. They are so helpful. We were asked numerous times if wed like a better post since ours had a 6 inch crack at one end. But since we were cementing that side into the ground we declined. Even still, their concern over the quality of their products was impressive. Better yet, hey gave us a 20% discount that we didnt even ask for. :)

I went to home depot to rent a snake for my plumbing and to unclog my pipes, and it was fairly easy and the equipment worked fine. Also the cashiers were very friendly, only thing that is a bother is that when you need help finding something, no one is around to help you. So you have to walk around the store to try and find someone to help.

Went to the Merritt Island Home Depo today and everything was going perfect until we reached the register. My husband is a veteran but apparently at Home Depo, you have to be a specific “type” of veteran or they do not accept your veteran’s card, which he produced. Definition of veteran is ANYONE who has served in the armed services. Going to Lowes in the morning.

All Home Depots are getting bad. Often we cant find what we need so we have to go elsewhere. Most employees dont go out of there way to help you find something. They look on the phones instead of looking for themselves. Many times things have showed in stock and were not. Several times we have had to delay a job because our order had come in broken. A couple times they never even told us it was broken until we went in to see if the items had been delivered to the store. They have mixed the incorrect paints which again cost us a lot of money and time. Unfortunately there are not many choices of where to get supplies. Home Depot no longer cares about the customers only the $$$$$$ 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

One of my items did not have the little tag for them to run the scan gun on. The cashier says well why you go back to back back to get the right price Ill finish the rest of it and I replied ? Me go back?Customer disservice at its finest.The manager came over and after I looked up the part online and explained to her that it was $3.52 she just let me have it for free.

I love the Home Depot. Hardware heaven. Lots of selection and decent prices . This particular trip was pretty much satisfying. It was a bit crowded but it was a Saturday. The only hitch was but nobody seemed to know where the wooden fence Hardware was.

The staff are great, usually quite knowledgeable, very helpful and super friendly. The store is clean and easy to navigate. The lumber prices are insane now, but what can you do?

I was looking at lights fixers and not one but two of the workers were extremely rude talking to me like I was stupid. And then just stand There staring at me. They were not helpful at all. And the cashier was extremely rude to. Yall need to do better With your employees. They seemed like they hate their job.

Absolutely horrible experience with this particular HD. Every time I go to this specific HD there is always an issue with my military discount. We dont do military discount Military discount not valid for the items you are buying Military discount not valid for plumbing or lumber. So close to military installations and so disrespectful. Every other HD on the east coast I have been to NEVER a problem. This one ALWAYS. Totally tired of this poorly run store. I will take my chances with the competition.

Super friendly store for a chain and helpful staff

I enjoy coming into this Home Depot because it is close to home. It has a wide selection of products to choose from. I went into The Home Depot for lumber and most of the pieces either had cracks or warps down the line of the board. Prices are also expensive for lumber as well. Even bags of mulch and top soil are pocket dropping these days. I chose to buy garden supplies here due to Ace hardware of Merritt island wanting $5.99 for their red mulch.

Good place to shop. Busy and they could use more help. All the employees are busy most of the time.

Do not bother calling, it rings forever and then they transfer you to a department that never answers, then when you call back they know it’s you and transfer you automatically because god forbid they actually do their job and help the customer without putting it off onto the next person, who also hangs up on you. WOW JUST WOW. Terrible Customer Service. I called 4 times and had the same experience back to back.

My to go place for Milwaukee tool and their new automotive section has better prices on oil and filters than the part stores for my oil changes

Nice to have a HomeDepot nearby however customers must be DIY knowledgeable because the associates in this are rude and clueless. I shop at multiple HDs and the associates are usually knowledgeable and helpful. At the Merritt Island store they are largely just rude and try to avoid helping customers. There are exceptions, of course, but Ive shopped this store since it opened and if I have time, I will drive to Titusville if I need to talk with someone in the store about my project.

The Merritt island FL store is HORRIBLE!! You can never get a hold of anybody. We placed an order to have french doors installed nearly a year ago. Still waiting!! Pathetic. They sleep on the job

Terrible experience with this store and they have permanently lost our business! My husband and I placed an order online for a $3k mower and paid the additional fee to have it delivered to our house. When we purchased the mower, the delivery date was supposed to be 2/2 and then it was moved to 2/3 and got another call moving it to 2/4. My husband called the store to speak to a manager to get this resolved yet no manager was available and was promised a call back. After changing the delivery date THREE times, we decided to have the order refunded. I guess losing $3k is no big deal to this particular location. BUYER BEWARE, if youre purchasing a large lawn mower from this Home Depot in Merritt Island store #234, theres a very good chance that delivery will be an issue as it was for us.

This place is my 2nd home for the past few months, the staff he are very nice and helpful, store usually has what I am looking for.

They certainly have wood but plumbing and kitchen to replace a garbage disposal, the assistant said I would be better off looking at Walmart for the pieces I needed

Home Depot is close by for me. I am able to get what I need for a good reasonable price. Ive been able to find things here I just cant find at Lowes.

The other big box store doesnt sell Klein tools, so I go to the big orange when I need something in the electrical department. On another note, the app/website is spectacular, anything that can tell you exactly where an item is located is awesome. And the app tells you the aisle and the bay. Now, if a particular supercenter could do that too, wed all be set.

I ordered a gas grill online and specified that it be unassembled in the box and picked up curbside. After waiting at the store for more than 30 minutes they came out with a dirty assembled floor sample. I stated to the employee that is not what I ordered. They came back and informed me that it would be another hour if I wanted it unassembled in the box as I originally ordered. Unfortunately this is the low standard of service that Ive come to experience all too often with this store.

I am always doing remodeling projects and spend ALOT of money at Home Depot. That was until the last few days took me on a project where I actually didn’t have the tools I needed so I was in and out of Home Depot renting tools for a couple of days in a row. There’s a man and lady who both work there in the morning February 6th Saturday. They were both EXTREMELY rude not only to me but everyone that was there. Everyone was talking about how rude they were. This attitude was the same for the whole 3 days I was going to the tool rental place. Hopefully a manager reads this and can either train proper customer care service or hire someone who doesn’t need training on how to not be a @$$ to customers who make it possible for you to get paid. I will be going to Lowe’s in rock ledge from here on out.

I’m actually closer to the Titusville location but I’ll drive to Merritt island just because the associates in Merritt island are always helpful and friendly! Havent learned how to control their inventory online. Online says items in stock but they are not when you pickup.

Home Depot staff is always great.. my recent visit found the outside to look like a circus.. who ever is the manager does not take pride of the store. The parking lot had hundreds of shopping carts all over.. even the cart I had was in bad shape, partially missing the handle. The garden shop concrete floor had major cracks in it..Its time for Home Depot to fix the place up, clean it up and maybe replace the dead trees in the parking. Brevard County residents deserve better.

Simply put... The tools, material and products are honest, of superb quality and nearly ALWAYS available on the shelf! What floats my boat there at HD are the check out cashiers...mostly women...and, they are always kind, helpful, warm and funny...all of which puts a spring in my step as I carry my purchase back to my shop! Prices are high! Some stuff on sale is about the same as other places. I hate to go all the way down to Lowes to get wood, but they have the 10% off for Veterans on everything! Not sure why HD cant do that! The only reason I shop here is its just 2 miles from my house.

Was looking for 2 items that should have been available at a hardware store, and I was unable to locate either of them. No one available for assistance.

Had to get a hose and 2 water heater elements. I dont know much about hot water heaters so Dave is Hardware/Plumbing helped me. Thanks so much for the great customer service!

It was horrible. The people there had attitudes. Very rude. The greater was very nice. The man in plumbing very nice and helpful. But 2 people in pro area where very rude. The girl at service desk was very rude. When I was trying to show her an order I placed. They had upset my husband so bad. He said if he had to deal with another rude person there he was going to blow up. She then refused to wait on him. Saying that he threaten her. I. Which he did not. He walked out so I could deal with the order. I tried to explain that we had just dealt with 2 rude people in pro. She told me she did not care. I said really. I tried to show her my phone and she then yelled at me. Told me to get behind glass. Which I was only standing next to it. Not in her space. She then closed her register and walked off. I asked her if she was going to help me. And she said no I will have to wait on her supervisor. We ended up leaving very upset. Without our order. Or anything else we where going to buy.

I came to pick up a door. Someone pulled the wrong door. Thankfully the customer service lady had it checked to make sure it was correct. I am very grateful for her thoroughness. It would have been a mess if she had not done that.
