Buddy, the owner is Wonderful. I had some work done there and when a part failed after the repair, he kept true to his word and fixed it under warranty without any issues. I had my truck at another mechanic shop for 2 months with an electrical problem that they could not figure out. I was about to scrap it but my friend talked me into taking it somewhere else first. I took it to Jimmie Vickers and they diagnosed and fixed the problem in one day.I was still having some electrical glitches so I took it back to Vickers. They checked it out and told me I needed a new battery. I told them I had just replaced it 2 months ago at my last mechanic. Buddy showed me the old battery sticker and my new battery was 2 years old. So my last mechanic either gave me a used battery or one that sat on a self for 2 years.Since the really new battery and the others work done my truck runs better than ever. The difference is amazing.That’s my Vickers story. Highly recommended and I won’t go any where else

I rented a U-Haul truck from Jimmy Vickers last year and was impressed by the staff—everyone was nice and professional. This year, I needed a hitch installed on my Jeep Cherokee and a neighbor on the community site Nextdoor recommended them. The staff was just as nice and professional as I expected, and the hitch was installed fairly quickly... unlike the usual hours of waiting at the dealership. Bill and Vince also took the time to help me attach my heavy bike rack and helped me lock it to the new hitch. On my way out, I met the owner Buddy and let him know how impressed I was with their service. I plan to use them in the future for routine auto maintenance. Very pleased!

This is what happens when good people who care about their customers do business. I got to observe Buddy and his team first hand while they did everything they could to fix an issue, not of their doing, that was preventing me from leaving their lot with a trailer. They know their customers and they bend over backwards to ensure their customers needs are met. I cant thank Buddy, Bud and Vince enough. In the end I didnt get the rental I wanted (which speaks volumes about the integrity of this organization) but I didnt get the bill for the rental that I locked down for over 24 hours or the hours of Vinces time spent trying to correct the pre existing problem in the harness. They couldnt get me on the road solely because they didnt have the time to get the parts they needed. Buddy and his team are superb. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I was looking for a vehicle for a couple of months. I met with Buddy and asked him about the 2006 Toyota Sequoia. He stated that they were waiting on parts that were ordered such as an engine sensor and the rear bumper prior to selling it. I test drove the vehicle and wanted to put money down at that time.Buddy stated that well treat it like gentlemen as I was the first one to see it and do the deal by a handshake. After the repairs if I didnt like the vehicle after it was repaired that I could back out of the deal. He was always totally honest with me, treated me with respect, trusting and low pressure. Went in this morning to drop off my U-Haul Trailer this morning and received some of the best customer service I have received in a while. As soon as I walked in I was greeted my an older gentleman. Was was unique about the experience was that it was more than just trying to get me in and out he talked to me for a bit and was very personable and friendly. After the transaction I realized I was talking to Buddy Vickers. I am a business owner myself and I think this kind of interaction is all but extinct in this day of technology. The world is over run by computers and cell phones that most people can’t interact with human beings on a social level. I feel more business owners & workers should take more pride in their business as their interactions with their customers like this. Bud, the manager is very honest about your vehicle. The mechanics dont push you into changing anything on your car if it doesnt need to be replaced. I have been going to get my oil changes done every 3000 miles and they are extremely reasonable. Nice little family owned business. Would recommend it to anyone who need ms preventive and general maintenance done in car/truck.

Ive been coming here for years to get my oil changes because any make model, amount of oil, $20. And thats after tax. They take good care of me. The man at the front desk always tries to get me the cheapest price without having to give up good parts. All in all I wouldnt take my car anywhere else! I love these guys

I came here to rent a U-Haul. The young lady who rented us the truck did it very quickly and with a great smile. We were out the door with the rental truck in just a few minutes. And there was a lock box for the U-Haul truck keys when we dropped the truck off after hours

I returned my uhaul to Jimmie Vickers when I first moved here. They were so nice, that I have been bringing both of my cars here for regular service and maintenance issues since. The gentlemen have always been honest, timely, and extremely helpful. I appreciate having a mechanic that doesnt recommend unnecessary services, and is honest about pricing and work.

Fantastic service! Jimmy Vickers was recommended to me by a friend. They quoted me $578 to do a CV repair. After I left, they called me and said that they had found a better price on the parts but that it would take a few hours longer to get them. I agreed to wait and they saved me $100! This is the first time in my entire life that an auto repair shop put in extra effort to save me money. Highly recommended!

Looked at a 2006 Sequoia that needed some work, was not ready for sale. They were supposed to get back to me but sold it without doing so. It needed a timing belt that was past due. Good luck to whoever bought it...Reply-Update: I dont think being up front, totally honest with a potential customer would be viewed as manipulation.

Was visiting in Florida, this rim vs me. Not good. Midas was going to charge $50 for changing out a rim and tire. I was a little worried. Not enough money to fix. Ugh. Then I thought Id try Jimmy Vickers. I remember this man from years ago. He was helpful and pleasant then. This time around, same. He had a garage of the most courteous, well mannered, employees. Very speedily fixed my tire. I was treated as a priority #1. These guys are great. And Jimmy, most pleasant, and concerned business Man Ive dealt with. My experience was a great one. Jimmy Vickers was very good to me. I would absolutely send family and friends. Whether buying a car or fixing a car, they are great. And my cost, hmmm. Very reasonable, lots less than $50.

From the beginning Vickers seemed to be a positive experience. But soon after purchasing my Jeep I had 2 major mechanical problems with the vehicle. 1 after several trips back and forth with them it was finally resolved. The second problem was never resolved. And I got tired of my 50 miles each way taking it back to them. My jeep had a terrible death wobble. The mechanic who is proud to say he has worked on jeeps for 20+ years nor anyone else in the entire shop could figure out and repair the problem. They did minor things to try to resolve it but it didnt fix the issue. Almost 1 year later I have had it properly fixed. A new track bar and skyjacker steering stabilizer. Its not an issue of swapping out tires, trying to do an alignment or taking off parts on other jeeps on your lot and putting it on my jeep that does the job correctly. Now I discover that one of their attempts to fix the problem which was them swapping my tires out only to put the wrong size wheels on my jeep. Boys the 2005 Rubicon comes with stock 16x8 5x4.5 wheels, not the 15x7 you replaced it with and the bald fifth wheel on the back you so casually covered up with your tire cover. After discovering this I just had to post a review. Thats not the way to do business. Before purchasing just be aware of these few things with the Jeeps these boys sell.

Ive used the U-haul people four times now and its been great!! These guys are super helpful and Always trying to do the best they can!!

Went to the Uhaul there. They gave me pointers on how to hook up the trailer and we very helpful. These guys seemed really old school and I liked that.

People seemed friendly but they promised to send me a written estimate and did not follow through. Difficult to get in touch with them or to get a response out of them. They are probably very busy. Had to move vehicle to another shop. Unfortunately we didnt get any work done here.

Have been doing business here for twenty years and have no complaints. Prices are reasonable.

I visited the u haul part. They are absolutely without a doubt the most wonderful ppl, and the price was very fare.

I happened on this garage by fate. My home made mutant CJ-7 1979 broke down right in front of there entrance. Mind you the only part of this vehicle that is factory is the frame, the Dana 30 and AMC 20 front and rear axles respectively and they were taken off an 86 model. This car is a mechanics night mare. I can honestly say that the mechanics here seem to fix anything and everything on this vehicle which has Chevy, Ford, and Dodge parts on it. From wiper pump motor replacement, to changing carburetor jets after discussing the settings with out of state technicians. The best part of Jimmie Vickers are the men who explain what needs to be done and how they can accomplish it. As stated above I own a mutant 1979 jeep, 2010 Tahoe, and 1993 Toyota Landcruiser. They have fixed them all. I give this little garage is a 5 star rating. I highly recommend the individuals here in integrity and knowledge.
