Merritt Island Air & Heat are my super heroes! Our AC stopped working and with temps soaring close to 100 degrees they worked as fast as they could to get us back up and running and were reasonably priced! Ryan was amazing and explained the issues and how to work with our warranty! Kathy, from the office, kept us informed every step of the way with regards to scheduling and was able to get parts within 2 days! With parts limited and often taking weeks to find, this was amazing!! I highly recommend working Merritt Island Air & Heat!

We had an AC emergency where entire unit needed to be replaced, same week. Merritt Island Air & Heat not only went out of their way to come, inspect and give us a quote the same day (even though they were booked for a week) but did the installation the next day. Crew was professional, on time, cleaned after themselves, simply pleasure to work with.

I noticed that my heater and air conditioning fan inside the house stopped working Sunday morning. I called Merritt Island air and heat Monday morning to see about having it serviced. Ryan was at my house within a couple of hours after the phone call. It was extremely fast to have same day service. Ryan diagnosed the problem with the motor in the air handler. He had to order the part from Trane. He returned the next day with the new motor and fixed the problem. Ryan was nice and very professional to work with. I would recommend Ryan and Merritt Island Air and Heat because they have been the best company I’ve had service with on my unit that I didn’t even buy from them.

My a/c quit working over the past weekend so I called Merritt Island Air and Heat to come out and repair it since they installed it 3 years ago. Ryan showed up and started working on my unit. After about an hour he hands me the bill and tells me there is nothing wrong with my unit. Keep in mind it went into shutdown mode since the weekend. I asked him what the codes meant that were on the air handler display? He told me there weren’t any codes. After I explained to him that I took pictures of these codes he seemed to get very upset. I wanted to know why it went into shut down mode and didn’t want this problem to repeat itself in the future. Now he wants to argue that there wasn’t any codes when he arrived and there was nothing else he was going to do. Not wanting to argue in my house in front of my 11 year old child I asked him the name of his manager which he told me was Mark Matlock.I called Merritt Island Air and Heat and left message for Mark to call me. A short time later er Mark called and I explained the situation. He stated that the codes couldn’t have reset themselves and that Ryan must of reset it. Mark explained that he needed to figure out what codes meant and would call me back after further investigation.It’s sad I had to call the manager to get him to try and figure out problem with my a/c. Had a new air conditioning system installed about a year ago and were very pleased with the service, Yesterday we had the Reme Halo air purification system installed by Ryan. We had been reading about the benefits and were convinced that it would be good for killing bacteria, viruses, air pollution. My wife has allergies that cause her to sneeze every morning and have an itchy nose. This morning for the first time she had no sneezing. We would highly recommend this system. Ryan was prompt. knowledgeable, and answered all of our questions.

The tech was friendly but did not do much to find the problem, stating that her had recently hurt his back. We called another company who readily found the problem by going in the attic!

Calling and asking for someone to come out was easy . Ryan found and fixed the issue he was Friendly and patient.

The summer of 2019, the hottest one on record, our AC decided it was going to have problems. Luckily, Kathy helped make sure we were still covered under the warranty for the unit that was installed by a local, defunct competitor in 2015. Ryan and Hayden serviced and tested the unit a couple of times (plugged drain lines, tested for a small coolant leak), before we finally had to replace the leaky coil. Ryan removed the oil coil from the air handler, and husband reworked the plenum and the return air box below the air handler. Ryan came back and did a fabulous job of reinstalling a new coil, reattaching the lines, charging the unit and did such a neat and complete job. Ryan, Kathy and Hayden are all professional and courteous every time we have interfaced with them. I highly recommend the Merritt Island Air & Heat.

I really appreciate that.I recently had a new air conditioning unit installed. The price was fair and the workmanship was excellent. In late August my old AC died and service tech Ryan came right out to troubleshoot the problem, then Eddie came a couple of hours later to determine the cost of replacing the AC. The next morning 2 installers were here with my new Trane system and had it installed and running beautifully that same day. I have used this company since 2001 and everyone including schedulers, service techs, sales, and installers have always gone the extra mile to take care of my AC issues as quickly as possible. We want to send a huge shout out to Mark Matlock, the service coordinator there at Merritt Island Air and heat. He helped coordinate with our tech to help cure our infected a/c unit. Ryan was our technician. Ryan was fantastic. He communicated the issues with our system, what was wrong, what needed to be addressed. Most techs Ive come in contact with, really dont care about communicating with their clients. This is where Ryan was the difference and excelled by volumes. When someone knows there biz and can share his knowledge and comfort a stressed client, you have a winner. None of us are cool when trouble strikes with a broken a/c unit a day before the 4th. Ryan and Mark made it that much easier on us. If your looking for a local company who treats you right, with respect, this is your company.

My AC was not cooling as well as it used to. I called and scheduled a technician to come out. He was able to come out the next day. My system was diagnosed quite quickly as a leaky Accumulator. He was able to give me an estimate on the spot to look over. I decided for them to order the parts for the repair. When the parts came in they called to arrange for the replacement. The technician came out and while replacing the accumulator, ran into some trouble due to the age of the unit. The tech had to run back to the shop a couple of times. There were additional parts that were needed to repair the issue. The company covered the cost and kept the work order at the quoted amount. I will definately be continuing to use their dependable service.

Just had Merritt Island Air & Heat come out for a service call. Always leary of AC guys, but I saw many good reviews and thought I would give them a try. Couldnt be happier!!! It was a minor repair, relatively inexpensive as AC repairs go. He easily could have upsold me. They have earned a loyal customer for life now that I know I can trust them.
