The Merriville PacSun is absolutely terrible. They are always slow when I go in, the workers are often so rude when you talk to them. Today I came to the mall and tried to go to their store but it was closed for a break that was from 4:00 till 4:30. When I tried to return to the store after their break, the sign extended said “break” till 4:45. The mall closes at 6, no other store just completely shuts down for a break in the middle of the day. Everytime I go here I have a bad experience all around. There’s also no break specified online so that we can know beforehand.

My friend and I waited super long in line, they didn’t open another register. When we got up to the register the girl with the curly hair did not have her mask on and was in her phone the entire time. They were super rude and when we were at the register there was multiple employees just standing behind the counter also on their phones and without their masks.

If I could put zero stars I would. Teenagers who worked there were very rude and threw my clothes around. They also did not have masks on. Worst PacSun I’ve ever been to. They hire terrible kids with no manners there.

Not a fan anymore. Not my style preference but Im sure other people like it. I honestly prefer the guys side better.

Cute clothes and ok prices. Workers are a little rude but overall ok experience. I would preferred to shop online for this store from now on.

Great deals all the time helpful employees

I came here last night (Thanksgiving) and had the WORST experience ever. I was handed a coupon for the black friday buy one get one 50% off sale when I came in and started browsing. I came up with a total of 6 items. I went to try them on and waited 10+ minutes behind a couple that was waiting forever for a fitting room. The girl got a fitting room and the guy must have been tired of waiting so he left. The fitting room attendant saw this and OPENED ANOTHER FITTING ROOM FOR ME. So let me get this straight... we were waiting FOREVER- and they were only using 2 of the 3 fitting rooms available! During a black Friday sale! It’s bad enough they only have 3 fitting rooms (the one in orland park has way more) but they were only using two rooms during a huge sale with a huge line. When I got up there I was told I could only have 5 items! (Pretty sure every other store in the country the limit is 6) The girl took a shirt from me so I had 5 items, mumbled something, and I never saw the shirt again.... So I had no way of trying it on without waiting in the huge and inefficient line AGAIN. Finally we went to pay and were told that one of the the items I chose wasn’t a part of the sale... And I could go back and get a different item. After all that, my Mom and I were beyond sick of waiting in lines and paid the amount... OVER 70 DOLLARS for a shirt and dress combo. We spent so long in the store we barely had enough time to look at the rest of the mall before it closed and ended up not even taking advantage of the Pacsun sale.I work in retail too and I get it, it’s busy, but I admire honesty and efficiency in stores. All I’m saying is it would have been nice if the girls handing out the sale cards told us specific brands weren’t a part of the “store wide” sale, and they actually used all the fitting rooms so I wasn’t in the store for such a ridiculously long time. The employees minus the fitting room girl all had good attitudes and were nice despite the rush (she seemed quiet and kind of annoyed, but hey it’s black friday), but the store obviously needs to be managed better.
