Avoid getting countertops from them. Was an absolute mess in dealing with their sub contractor. Final product faucet off set . Have to spend so much time in dealing with this company and their sub contractor

I went in to inquire about cabinets. I explained that I just wanted to add cabinets to my existing kitchen, not redo the kitchen. I guess my project was not large enough because I was told this is all we have, here is a catalog, maybe you could find something online. I was not impressed with the service. I drove to a competitor that was more than happy to work with me and make a sale.

Friendly, clean, and fast! We had a rendering in our hands in less than a half hour. Cabinets are flat shipped, but they are a third of the price quoted by other cabinet stores. I have a few hours to assemble some cabinets for that type of money.

Gabby is excellent. We did not purchase yet. The cabinet samples are beautiful and well made.

I was surprised to see negative reviews as I had an excellent experience with Nancy and Tim in the Merrillville store. Nancy put a plan together which worked perfectly with my space. When I had questions or needed additional pieces, Tim was very helpful. My items shipped as expected except a couple of pieces which they had shipped directly to my home so I wouldnt have to drive over an hour to pick up from their store. The product was well made and an excellent price

The owner is very kind and helpful. We went here looking for vanities and a quote on cabinets. They have super low prices on vanities and he gave us a low quote for our kitchen cabinets as well. If youre doing home renovations on your bathroom or kitchen it is definitely worth the trip!

Absolutely horrible experience. Employees continuely lying to us about everything. Said cabinets would be in, in 2 weeks, was over 2 months and our kitchen was already gutted waiting. So we had no kitchen at all. Has now been 6 months and we still have not received all of our cabinets and no returned calls. We paid for everything up front and for them to install. Installers did good job. We just want the job completed that we paid for 6 months ago.

I purchased cabinets a few months back and had a handful of items come in damaged. It was a headache dealing with the previous store manager here and getting the items reordered. I had a customer that went in and chose some white cabinets they had on display and when she told me where she shopped I thought Oh here we go again. I stopped in over the weekend to price out the cabinets for this customer and worked with Thalia, the new store manager. What a difference in the atmosphere of the store! She was so helpful and friendly. The entire time she worked with my layout she held a conversation with me and was very sweet. I will be sending any future clients to this store to see Thalia!

I ordered cabinets and paid in full $3000. I was told 1 cabinet is back ordered by 1 month, after calling and leaving numerous messages still never received a call back finally got ahold of somebody they told me it would be another month so now 2 months later I still have no cabinets so this week I started taking all my old cabinets down because they promised me it would be in this week I have zero cabinets of my kitchen is a pigsty and now they told me its going to be another month and maybe even longer. After calling numerous times again I had to call corporate and they got a hold of the manager over there and the manager refused to do anything for me so I called them myself and told her I want a refund finally I went there yesterday and they refunded my money after being told that I will be charged a 25% restocking fee even though I have no cabinets and the order was never even in yet if I were you I do not recommend them and on top of that all the cabinets come in boxes were you have to put the whole cabinet together before you can install it and go pick him up from Cabinets To Go unless you pay $250 to have them deliver them not worth the time do not recommend this place I would give them 0 Stars if I could

The staff was nice an professional, but he was the only one there. We felt rushed because he had other customers to get back to. The service since has been slow as we needed to email back and forth just to get a design and quote.

Worst experience with a business Ive ever dealt with. I have been waiting months for a complete project to get done, which was paid for upfront. Customer service says theyre sorry and will look into it but nothing ever happens. I never like to hear of someone losing a job but this company is a joke and someone running this company should be fired!

Dont pass up taking a look since you will be missing out! My wife and are ready to build a substantial kitchen at a lake house in Michigan. We have shopped many local shops in S/W MI, Homedepot, Lowes, Menards and other big-name stores. Honesty we were leery about Cabinets to Go but liked the idea of all plywood construction, promise of a low price, and not particle board like IKEA. I am an engineer and have very high standards but we have a budget we need to stay within on a full house high end remodel. We ended up driving 2 hours to the Merrillville, IN location. We did have a couple of closer locations in Detroit area but with initial conversations, we like the manager Thalia who was very knowledgeable at the IN location. Thalia replied the same day and Sunday when they were closed with my initial email. I had sent our designs and room dimensions and by the next morning on Monday had the kitchen build in her computer and an initial quote. The price quoted seemed too good to be true since 1/2 the price of some of the lowest quotes we had on cabinets from many sources. When we arrived at the Merriville store, my wife and I reviewed every inch of the cabinets inside and out. We could not believe the quality which was equivalent to many of the high-end cabinets. Believe me, my wife and I know what we are looking for and are very finicky and thorough. The hinge hardware was identical to that we found in the other box store cabinets who probably source from the same companies (I had pictures to compare the mechanisms). The plywood was much better quality than the Lowes cabinets that we were ready to sign on this week but wanted to review CTG. The doors are solid wood and amazing look with the crown on the top and lower trim on bottom side of the upper cabinets. Thalia met us on Sunday when they were normally closed and spent 3 hours with us. She was very straightforward with answers and feedback on design changes. There was no attitude, pressure, and just to the point on every question we had which we had many. We ended up buying the cabinets since my wife and I were fully satisfied with the quality of the cabinets after a 3-month journey looking for cabinets. Thalias clear reputability, product knowledge, and ability to get all our final changes in at the one visit was key to our decision. We seldom in 30 years of our marriage have bought anything on the spot unless we are certain! I feel bad since in S/W MI when developers, builders, and homeowners when the word start to spread with them about CTG. The local kitchen shops and box stores cant compete with the price for these cabinets that not only look very high end but the actual quality wood and components of high-end kitchens.

I ordered my cabinets Jan 22nd. I have yet to receive all of what I paid for. I got the call they were in but only half were in, sat and waited for the rest to come in. when those came in we started to install only to find many broken. So they replaced and yet we waited and waited. April 6th I contacted them not to long after that I got my cabinets. I am still waiting on the soft close and the touch up paint and putty and the pieces for the drawers where the dove tails were broke. and it is may 9th. My recommendation on this place is run away. it should not take this long for them to right their wrong

My husband and I did a new build and did all the cabinets in our home from cabinets to go.The cabinets are beautiful and wasy to put together.We checked the full ordr before placing it to avoid missed items, we ordrered and everything we winderfullyThe cabinets are high end solid, The cost was more than half the codt of other plsces and I was able to add in sll my fun extrasTim and the others at the Merriville store were awesomeI am do thankful to everyone at the storeI originally did my kitchen then I added my laundry and mudroom because I was so thrilled with everything and every purchase went extremely well

Terrible customer service. Nancy the store manager lost my measurements which I paid to have done. When I asked what happened to the measurements I was given attitude and the run around. I then asked the Cabinets To Go contractor Jerry who measured my kitchen for my measurements and he mysteriously lost them as well. I am without measurements and I am out the $80 measurement fee. Lesson learned go to Schilling.

Cant beat the price on solid cabinets with island. I will tell every one about this deal.
