Battery tester was not accurate..still bought new battery..2 yr. warranty had expired for 07 mountaineer.

Horrible phone etiquette when I called today to ask about a stereo. Who ever answered today needs to be trained on customer service.

Convenient and close to home. Auto Zone almost always has great deals on oil change packages w/ filter. But this location does not have books out to identify your filters yourself- you must wait in line for someone to look it up for you. On my checkout, i was behind a customer with 3 employees behind the counter: 1 ringing out, but the other 2 didnt seem willing to help.

Today I came home thinking I needed oil in my car finding that I needed a whole timing belt my friend Kevin and brothers Charles was good to me

Pretty knowledgeable staff quick to help. In and out experience that got me what I needed and out the door so I can spend more time on fixing the car rather then waiting for parts.

Okay im in Indiana now and Im stilltraveling ( through covid). This trip has given me allot of headaches.Somewhere along the line the wiring on my trailer got cut. So after purchasing a four in flat connector, some electrical tape, and wire cutters. Problem solved. The employee were very helpful and lucky for me it was near by. Gotta love that.

I went there to have a car battery and key fob battery teplaced. After the batteries were replaced the car alarm was in anti theft mode and we were unable to start the car. The store manager said it was not her or her staffs fault and we would have to pay to have some one come out and reset the alarm since she didnt know where it was located. I opened the key fob and immediately noticed that the manager had installed the battery upside down. Problem solved, no thanks to the manager Marisa.In my opinion Auto Zone would do well to hire knowledgeable managers who are less apt to assign blame and more willing to solve problems instead of talking under there breath about the customers that keep them in business. Fortunately there are other auto parts stores that offer the same services with competent employees.This is the store located on Broadway in Merrilleville.

Had a great experience at this location with two employees Molly and Troy who went above and beyond in assistance with my vehicle. Molly was very proactive and quick in helping me find the tools needed to repair a leak I was experiencing underneath my car, she even helped me identify what the leak was. Troy was excellent in finding a method to quick fix the leak and took time to physically fix the problem and get me back on the road. I can’t thank the two of them enough for all of their help and expertise! They were a huge help in getting me on my way. I would definitely be back to this location! They’re truly the best at what they do.

My battery was questionable. A very knowledgeable and pleasant employee tested and replaced my battery within 15 minutes.A no hassle experience with positive results.

Nothing less than amazing. I went in with my boyfriend minutes before they closed to buy a headlight for my car. Not only was the customer service outstanding, but the associate took the time to even put my headlight in for me, which was greatly appreciated. I believe his name was mark.. Or maybe Jeff lol. Either way he was awesome.

The gentlemen, older male was super nice and knowledgeable and provided excellent customer service which is essential in a customer service environment. Thumbs up!

This location is horrible and so is the staff. I had reached out to Steve the district Manager and he is just as unprofessional as his staff. He has not even reached back out to me. I will be contacting the BBB. Me and my mother came and purchased a battery for $139.00. The women who assisted us was New you could tell because she was stuttering and nervous like. She grabbed her items and followed up outside, now the holder that hold my Jeep hood up is bent because my mother slammed it on accident. Anyway I was holding the hood up to assist her for almost 30 mins. I knew she did not know what she was doing, then after a half an hour she goes in the store to get some Hispanic lady, who comes out shaking her head! Oh hell naw I ain’t putting my head up under the hood and that’s a safety hazard. I can understand that but be a little more professional and state that before you take my money!. All the customers were looking at her, and telling her to change her attitude

Bought a part which turned out to be broken internally. Went to return it, and the man said i couldnt because i had opened the package. The store is nice and has just about everything in stock, and the staff is nice, but the policy sucks.

Customer service leaves much to be desired in dealing with the staff and inflated prices on merchandise makes it difficult to recommend this location or any others highly. I would have to suggest online shopping for some of the ancillary equipment needed for your vehicle.

When we were returning from vacation from Indiana (07/01/12), our vehicle malfunction (brake lights remained on). We stopped at your AutoZone before it opened and we were going to wait until opened for business, however, a gentleman named William came outside and asked if we needed help. We explained what happened and he helped us. He actually spent a good 1 hour helping us until our vehicle was functioning again. We bought a small part and he installed and we were on the road. We found out that it was his day off and that he was there only to attend a meeting. Please pass this along to him but most especially to your management to let them know what an awesome teammate they have in that store!!!! Kudos to William!!!!
