My Father, Brother and I went in to look at a 1967 Chevy Nova II SS. We drove from Alabama to Dayton in our motor home and then rented an airplane to fly in to Griffith. First impressions to me are everything. The dealership is museum quality. I loved the vehicles there. The day before we flew up my Dad called to ensure that the car was still available. It took them all day to get back to us. Then we asked if the sales guy that we were working with could pick us up at the airport. He said he was too busy. Upon reaching the dealership via a Lyft we were greeted by Joel. We asked some questions that Joel didn’t even seem to know the answer. His attitude was just not of a sales guy that wanted to sell a car. The car was everything we were expected and my Dad was ready to purchase. Joel just was not interested in making a deal. No budging on the price and heck not even a water bottle was offered. He said he had another buyer on the hook for the full price. I get that; but we just did not feel appreciated as customers. A little customer service would have made the sale today. Also the car had some issues like horn is not working, windshield wipers not working, speedometer not working and some rust on the dipstick that’s was a little concerning. Anyhow, if you want top dollar for a vehicle, check it out before the customer drives and flys all the way from Alabama! Just saying.

Bought a 2012 Dodge Avenger there a few months ago. The car was in good shape, below the NADA and Blue Book Price and has driven great. Ive put a few thousand miles on it already and no problems.I came in with two cars in mind and was able to test drive them without a hassle. The car buying process was quick and easy, which was a relief since this was the first time I was financing a car (through outside financier).They also have a showroom with a ton of gorgeous cars they didnt mind me drooling over.

I recently purchased what was said to be a 67 Beetle bug classic restored with a working motor. Sure there will always be problems, or issues with a 50 year old car. However, here is what showed up at my door. A 67 Beetle, that doesnt start. Changed the started no problem then the clutch goes out? Interesting, I email the dealership and they dont respond. I took it to a VW specialty shop and of course its not a 67 beetle its a mix of all different years rolled into one car. When you sell a Classic Beetle Fully Restored as posted on Auto Trader be sure to mention all the flaws and be honest. I dont feel like it was an accident this car doesnt run. I feel like they just did not want to be honest because I was out of state. It is a beautiful car but what a waste of money to have to fix so many things and I cant even drive it. Be careful if you purchase out of state.

Joel was literally plowing the snow off the lot himself when i arrived. He knew all the answers to the questions I had about a custom car i purchased. It was impressive considering most cars salesman cant tell you the number of cylinders they have. The transaction was smooth from start to finish especially being 3 states away.

I called the other day and talked to Paul about an older Jeep Cherokee with low miles. I had to drive about 2 hours to see it so I asked him to give me an honest representation of the condition before I hit the road to take a look. He took the time to go over the car (exterior and interior) and gave me a really honest evaluation so I could make an informed decision before driving 4 hours round trip. I decided not to take the drive to see the Jeep but I cant say enough good things about my interaction with Paul. Still looking for the right Jeep Cherokee and will be watching Jabaay Motors to see if they get another one in.

Bought a vehicle 5 months ago and it had zero rust on the paint. Within a couple months rust started to appear along the bottom of the doors and its getting more and more. My honest guess is that they used a touch up paint to cover the rust so it wasnt noticeable and over time that paint came off. Closely inspect your vehicles, if they did it to this one they probably did it to others.

Tried to buy a 2004 Pontiac GTO. For two days I sent text, called, and emailed. Finally I got a return email. Sent them information and waited for a response. Even called. Then I get an email saying the car was sold. Worst communication ever. Surprised they are still in business with online sales like this. Avoid.

Purchased a 2006 Acura TSX last year. Overall has been a good car. Jabaay has some nice cars and a nice dealership. We drove from Cincinnati to get the car. One thing I didnt care for was having to negotiate a full tank of gas. i understand this is a used car dealership but when youre purchasing a car and driving a few hours to get it I would expect that as something they would do. Overall a very good dealership.

The head manager is a little shister his goons are on the same level just make sure you fully inspect the car because they have their own mechanic ...Good luck with price negotiations they only drop 100s off the price...The inventory on cars is nice an they keep the cars inside so thats a plus..Overall dont trust no one and if your goin to make a investment make sure not to dive into it without fully investigating that vehicle, not all the cars at this dealership are gems just like some reviews on here a guy said they covered up rust spots and didnt tell the customer... beware

I had been a long time customer of a local Infinti dealership and upon wanting to trade in in my 2006 g35 coupe, I saw they had a 2005 Honda s2000 roadster on their lot with only 14k on the odometer, naturally I went there to talk business. After getting most of the baragaining worked out, I told them I would be back to drop off a deposit, within 24 hours they sold the car out from underneath me- needless to say, I was a very unhappy customer of theirs (Ive been with them for about 3-4 years and have brought them countless referrals and business as well). I ended up searching around online and as I am very skeptical of dealerships in general - narrowed it down to 3, one of them being Jabaay Motors. I found out their main showroom was actually about an hour and a half away from me, and I decided last minute to drive out there to check out a 2004 Honda s2000 with 7300 miles on the odometer.Upon getting there I was greeted before I even walked inside by Joel. Extremely friendly, laid back, and just down to earth guy. He gave me a reasonable offer on my trade-in of the Infiniti and I looked over the Honda s2000, which I can say to least was honestly in MINT condition, the car and just like all of their cars on the showroom floor is very well taken care of with extremely low mileage for their years. I can tell Joel and his family/business take great pride and care with all of their vehicles. We worked out some numbers and upon agreeance, I was the new proud owner of a bright yellow Honda s2000.My case in point is, Joel and Paul (who works at the Lansing location) are great guys, they know their business inside and out and are more than capable of providing outstanding customer service, I would and will continue to recommend anyone looking to buy a lightly used car in great condition to talk to Joel and Paul.
