These guys were fantastic! Last minute decision for my daughter to participate in her schools strings group led me to KC Strings and they were so helpful and knowledgeable not only about what she needed specifically for her district’s program but all things related including potential lessons at a later date! They were very helpful and so kind and I was able to get everything in 30 min!

In 2010, right after moving to OKC, my bass had some significant damage that needed to be repaired. I had just moved over 1000 miles from everything and everyone I knew, and had a severely broken instrument while trying to finish my doctorate and navigate my first year of full-time college teaching. Thanks to a recommendation from a friend, I took my bass to get repaired at K.C. Strings. Their work saved (and improved) my instrument, and too this day they are always the first place I go for anything bass-related. Thank you to Aidan and all the folks at the shop - they do it right the first time, very time!

I needed my violin sound rod fixed after it got loose and the strings replaced. I emailed over the weekend and Phil replied Monday that they could fix the rod and restring my violin at no charge! I was in and out in under 30 mins and at no cost! Thank you Phil and K.C. Strings for taking care of me!

Ethan and Dave are awesome. They are the best and deserve a raise. Love the customer service and the pink pens and scissors. We especially loved the sign about “no smoking.” Made me laugh really hard.

This place is awesome. I have brought my kids viola and violin to this place for repairs over the past few years. Reasonable rate to rent a cello for my son. Rich sound for a rental. Also, have had to bring it in for a couple of small service adjustments and their service was great.

Normally amazing store and it may have been a little while back, but please. If a parent asks for particular strings, please do not allow your staff to offer a cheaper string to the parent and especially please no [Your child] wont notice it. Unless a worker knows the playing level of that particular child, as someone thats happened to, it doesnt always work out that way.

I broke my 1925 German violin late last year. It was a terrible experience. Anton met with me and thoroughly explained the process K.C. Strings would use to repair my instrument. He mentioned I may even love my violin more when I get it back?!?!! He was correct!! Anton and Aidan are masters at their craft. The new action, depth and sensitivity is incredible. Thank you K.C. KC Strings was fantastic! We were in the market for a new violin for our daughter. We had been to a couple of other places but KC Strings was the best by far. The prices and selection were terrific. I had my Violin serviced here in early 2016, the staff was friendly and showed great customer service. Various repairs were made to my Violin, they sealed a few open seams, planed the fingerboard, shaped and fit a new bridge, polished the top, and reset the neck. My instrument is now the playable piece of art that it should be, thank you K.C Strings!

The best place to purchase and or rent string instruments in the region. If you need something related to a string instrument... This is where you need to go. Great products at fair prices with wonderful customer service. My wife, an orchestra director, bought her personal instruments from here years ago, still sends all her students here and buys all of her school instruments from here too.

This store is like a Candy Store for my daughter, she loves going to the shop to get private tutoring from Joseph Toma as well it is exiting when we can upgrade her instruments :)We started with a rental violin and have upgraded her each year. My bass is a beautiful German Instrument that I found in the Merriam store. Along with this instrument, I received knowledgeable and professional service. There is a great selection of instruments to be found there and I couldnt recommend it more highly!

I appreciate the hospitality KC Strings has graciously given me, I had an issue and the owner, Anton, corrected the situation within a 24 hour period. This place is amazing for private lessons, I recommend that beginners through advanced players try them out!

I have been to this shop quite often over the last 10 years and have never had a bad experience. I originally started going as a student, shopped for instruments and materials here, and now take students instruments here as I am now an orchestra teacher.The staff is very friendly and will to help out at all times. You will often see either Anton on Misha in the shop answering questions or helping out.I also have been very pleased with their customer service. Repairs have been done quickly and done well. They also give reasonable quotes and are not pushy about extra things they suggest you might look into for your instrument care.

Wonderful instrument. We rented a Krutz 300 cello for the price of Krutz 100 (because it had a broken part but fixed. And the store covers the insurance). This 300 series cello sounds amazing, even better than an Eastman vc 305 we liked. My son loves it! Very helpful staff and the owners nice!
