I’m at the store in Merriam Kansas and I’ve been here for many years but this is the nicest I’ve ever been treated by the workers here. Miss Emily the GM and Miss Brittani are amazing. The best I’ve ever been treated.

Only ran in for mailing envelopes and found the selection lacking and over priced. One lady running 2 checkouts while one person swept and 2 stood behind a different desk chatting. I understand why most office supply stores are closing, which sucks for us small businesses in a quick pinch.

This store is terrible, no customer service, no ones wants to help you by taking you to an item, they just point, a lot of safety hazards, like gray totes in almost all of the aisles on the floors, stinky and dirty, also on the nasty stained looking carpet under the furniture, very dangerous for a person to trip over, get hurt and sue the company. An employee told me they are there for leaks along with the black X tape on the floors.. it wasn’t raining and they are still out in the aisles. Shelves are empty, saw a mouse come from their back room, no public bathrooms, I did ask to use the bathroom as I had an emergency situation and it was filthy and no toilet paper, their shelf selection of merchandise is none, the print shop looks like a tornado went through it, trash everywhere and very unorganized. Several employees cussing, using vulgar language, real professional!! They don’t have a tech service there or even a tech person, they had no knowledge of the laptop that I brought in. Floors are dirty and sticky, ladders out on the floor and in the aisles, not enough checkers, but 1 person. No employee came up to help this lady check out customers. She called but no one came. Employees wearing Office Depot shirts were untucked, dirty and I walked by one employee that had such bad body order, doesn’t make me want to shop or try to shop here again. Employees talking in the print area and everywhere throughout the store to each other not paying attention to the few customers in the store. This store is in bad shape, I felt like I was in a warehouse environment. I don’t know where your upper management is, like Corp, and why they haven’t closed this store or at least get new management, someone that cares about the store, it’s employees and customers, because this store has none of these things and to think that this is ok and looks good. Far from it, not sure what that store manager does, but they are definitely not interested in their employees and what their store looks like. Better get a new manager that knows what a nice, friendly, clean, stocked store and good employees look like. It’s NOT this store!! Terrible place!!

They dont do tech.. had a tech issue. He didnt even try to solve. He kept my charger cord and didnt even try helping with any other questions. Dont claim to have IT if you dont.

I placed a same day photo pick up for something I needed printed nicely and by the next day. I went to pick up my order, even though I didnt get a confirmation that it was done... because hours had gone by since I placed it and I needed it that day *WHICH IS WHY I USED THIS SERVICE vs other places* When I showed up there was a sign that said because of bad weather we are closing at 4, by 4pm that was the best weather we had, had in over 10 days.... I was very angry. I felt that if you are closing and someone is expecting a pick up and placed a order, hours before closing CALL THEM and at least tell them... the next day I had my husband go up there to pick it up, and drive it to my work and they are still closed with the same sign on the door which makes me feel like they could of put that sign out days ago?!?!? You have a duty to open your store, and if you arent then it needs to be said when someone is placing an order. I had to place an order somewhere else, causing so much time wasted driving to Office Max and around town, I also had to pay for this order twice now. Once from Office Max and once from another place. I dont need two copies. I am beyond mad. Will not be using any office max/ depot services again.

Worst print job ever. Ordered a booklet online. Both the design and the employee on chat said they did full bleed. When I went to pick up there was a border and the images bled onto the next page. Lady told me that this was the best they could do. What a disgrace for a print. I refused to take and demanded my money back.

This place has the worst customer service. The woman working at the print services had the worst attitude and clearly saw I was struggling to get my prints printed and didn’t even offer to help. Never less, I asked for options on resume paper and only gave me two options, I know there is more and felt discriminated at that point. I will never go here again for anything. Staples is way better.

Store seems to have a good selection of products and stock available. But 2 out of 3 times there couldnt get assistance. And if you buy large items like furniture youre better off picking it up yourself and not use delivery because of time wasted waiting and delays, etc.

Associate are easy to find in fact they find you. Not like a lot of stores where you have to go and search for them which can be very frustrating when rushed. Good shopping experience at this Office Max and will continue to shop there in the future. Would recommend it to anyone.

Employees were so helpful! Helped me with a printing job with special instructions. When I wanted to buy a case of paper on sale, but they were out of cases, they boxed up individual reams to make a case for me and gave me the sale price. Very pleased!

This is the last time I go here . I was literally standing in line and a white couple walks to the other side of the register. So instead of serving me first the white girl immediately gets their posters despite the fact that I’m a regular customer and had been waiting for the girl to walk back to the front to help me . Never going here again .

I spent an hour on their website designing a business card. The site was very slow. I finally got everything perfect and clicked on “Proceed To Cart”.Then the website crashed, the page reloaded, and it had reverted to how it looked 45 minutes ago.

My first several visits were great. Sales people were friendly and really helpful but also great sale prices. Spoke specifically to someone about a new laptop but decided not to purchase that day. MY VERY LAST VISIT was on day 15 when return policy was EXACTLY 14 days. Within those 15 days, I had been in a car accident and had nessages (text and vm) from adjustor for statement about incident, body shop about car ready, from Enterprise car rental. Blake the manager on duty was NOT budging!!!!!!! The *manager* who assisted me with my purchase said this laptop was touchscreen along everything else that I needed and expressed at time of purchase. Laptop was a great price $420 out of $1,000 I had spent that night. The *manager* while ringing me out asked me if I wanted warranty on laptop and of. Ourse I said YES. UNFORTUNATELY, he assumed I wanted to purchase warranties on everything I bought. This included a $3.00 warranty on a $20 mouse!! So even though BLAKE would not budge on 1 day past deadline due to circumstances, I had him refund every warranty on the rest of my items. If I hadnt gotten such good deals on my other $500 in purchases, I would have returned it ALL!!!!!! Now I am stuck with a laptop that does not have a very important feature I need and was tilf it had. I will NEVER go to Office Max again but if I do, I will purchase online and have delivered for free. Screw You Blake. Common courtesy is gone from his soul as is good customer service. Oh and he wouldnt return it because laptop smelled like smoke. Nothing an alcohol towellette could not take care of for resale and keeping a customer who had spent close to $2,000 in last three visits. Done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went there to use up my rewards before the end of the year. The cashier told me their quarter ended on the 29th and I lost over$37 of rewards. I shopped there for over 20 years. Nice way to treat a long time customer. Staples here I come...

I like to come here when I need to print something in color. They have a wide selection of paper types available and helpful staff who will sit with you at a computer and assist. They also have plotters available, if you need to print something large like a blueprint. I just wish this particular area of the store had more than one clerk as theyre usually tied up with another customer and sometimes you have to wait a while for them to help you.

Worst experience ever at a store. Put a product on hold for 2 days, only to drive 60 miles two days later to find they didnt hold the product. Supposedly they cant do that. However, I left my name and number on the product originally. Youd have thought they would actually call and let me know so I could make alternative arrangements. Nope. No call. Nothing. They sold the product (their only one) and all the manager could do is say sorry. No offer to fix it (other than we can order you one, which I could have done two days prior on my own) or make up for it or anything. So not only would they not fix the issue, they dont obviously train their staff properly. At worst they could have told the staff person (we dont hold items in the future) and have held this one. Makes the employee look bad, the manager look worse and they lost a $1,000 purchase today and a customer forever.

I dropped a computer off to be looked at because I couldnt open some web pages that are important for my job. 3 weeks to a month go by and I havent heard anything out of them so I call them. The person tells me that she needs to talk to their tech. After 5 hours I call back and they tell me that they are not sure if it got worked on and they need to talk to their tech. The next day I call back and am told that it had major issues and had to have someone else look at it because it was not just a software update that needed to be done. A few days later I call and they tell me there was nothing ever wrong with it. Dont waist your time with these people. Take it somewhere that cares.

I purchased labels that were too large, and when I went to return them they wouldnt refund them because they were missing pages of labels. I hadnt even opened the package. Evidently someone had purchased the package before me and returned it. I was so livid. They made me feel like a criminal. Needless to say, I will be purchasing my office supplies elsewhere in the future.

I was very disappointed with the customer service there we went to ask some information on some business cards and the employees there were of no help I could not believe that we go into the store and ask for help and one of the employees just signed my brother in-law on the computer and just walked away and now his not familiar with computers so he did not know what to do so I tried to help him and when we had questions they were of no help I do not recommend you to go to that store if you need help with anything they will not help you

Very dissatisfied with my experience. Took them over 24 hours to complete basic prints and cutting. When I came back 26 hours later they still werent finished all the way. Never have had such a poor experience at an office max. Wont be coming back to this location.
