Went to the AT&T store in Merriam to see if I could get a little more data on my plan. Have always been told in the past it would be $150 a month. Talked to the salesperson in the store, I told him my phone bill is $75 per month right now. He said he could give me unlimited data for $85 per month. I said great! Let’s do it. When I got home and received my email, it said my new permanent bill will be $122.39. Guess it’s a bit more than $10 more per month. More like almost $50 more dollars per month. I have been a loyal AT&T customer for years. They obviously think people don’t pay attention to their bill.

I went to the at&t store in Overland park and was extreamly disappointed. So I took off and visited the AT&T store in Merriam, Kansas off of Johnson drive. The sales representative Ed was a breath of fresh air. Informative, knowledgeable and helped me with my new S21 Ultra Galaxy cell phone. When I asked questions about the differences of the phones he guided me to the best option for my needs. Customer service goes a long way and Ed is a perfect example of that. Your store is very fortunate to have an employee with his knowledge and expertise.

Went it for my upgrade I did online and the first person wasn’t too helpful, But then JB came out to help and you could care he cared. He took this issue into his hands and took care of it quickly, not only did I leave with a phone but happily left with 2 apple watches and a ton of accessories

Corey was a tremendous help! He was very patient and understanding, taking almost two hours of his morning to help me get a defective device (manufacturer issue, not AT&T) replaced and work through challenges with the corporate customer service support. If you need a new phone, device or services - I recommend asking for Corey!

This location (Johnson Dr) is GREAT! We were warmly welcomed by the manager and were helped right away. Corey asked a few questions about what our needs were and knew exactly what phone we needed. He was very knowledgeable. He looked more into our account, and it turns out that we could get an employer discount, plus with the newer plan, we shaved $25.00 off it! Thanks Corey and the Johnson Dr. Store!

Staff is Very helpful in the store answering questions on the 3 DISTINCT SEPARATE BILLINGS OF THE AT&T Services of TV, Internet and the Mobile Cell Phone; they are NOT consolidated into ONE BILL, BUT ARE SEPARATE BILLINGS AND DATES, so it is very difficult for record purposes, since AT&T WANT CUSTOMERS TO PAY THROUGH AUTOMATIC BILLING !

He was rude when I gave him my phone in his hand, he laid it down and slides it to me instead of placing it in my hands as if he didn’t see my hand out. I called him out on it, because it’s rude. I just wanted to upgrade my phone and they said I would be next, an hour later (how terrible of me to be patient) I went in to see when I would be seen. They didn’t even really apologize just said they had been texting me (they hadn’t) I went back out and waited in my car 30 minutes later and only because I noticed them helping someone else I went in AGAIN and the manager didn’t even come to talk to me instead he saw me and ran into the back to grab someone. I’ll be going to a different store. Terrible service.

I am a recently former Sprint/T-Mobile customer who was frustrated about their lack of technical support and customer service during their transition. At the T-Mobile store, the first words out of their mouth were always, We are too busy to help you today, even if you arrive hours before they close. I was bounced to multiple stores and to customer support at both Sprint and T-Mobile without any help. I just wanted my call waiting to work again, something that was inadvertently broken during Sprints transition to T-Mobile. When I walked into the ATT store, both Ed & Linley were cheerful and happy. I asked, Are you too busy to help today? Linley said, Of course not! How can I help? She was very patient, helping with all my questions. I have four lines and she made sure to be there when we could get all four lines together at the same time so we could make the transition. She spotted some great deals, upgraded us to better phones, and gave me a really good set of expectations of what the transition would look like. We are all very happy with the service and am glad that Linley is at the ATT store. I will recommend ATT and specifically this location to everyone! I waited two months to post this review, just to make sure it represented the full experience. Ive been using ATT for two months now and have received two invoices. Everything is working exactly as Linley said it would and I call that IMPRESSIVE! Thank you!

Regardless of providers, Ive always had bad or semi-bad experiences at these types of stores. Its always frustrating, never clear, and no ones upfront. I cannot say that about this store, and I cannot say this about Corey, who was so incredibly helpful through the entire process. He was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and helped troubleshoot when things were stuck, as it were.If youre looking to do *anything*, inquire about service, etc., make the drive to THIS location, like I did. I have an ATT about a few blocks from me, and my wife and I made a twenty minute drive for this high quality service.Special shoutout to JB for being an overall good guy, welcoming, friendly, and was really, really nice to my son. These guys deserve all the credit. Thank you!

These guys were super helpful. They were not able to fix my initial problem because it was something that could not be done in store had to be done by calling customer service but they told me what I needed to do and also got me set up with internet and TV at a lower cost than competing companies.

I came into the store in Merriam to pay off 2 mobile phones. We have been AT&T customers since Sept 2018....28 months or so. After paying over $850 for the payoff, the young man told me we were on a plan that would have paid off the phones in 30 months...only 2 months more! I would have saved $850+ if he would have only told me before I used my credit card. We had been paying $5 each month. So I did the math at home: 30 months X $5 = $150 for each phone which would have completed my payments. I am angry I wasnt told I only had 2 months or so to have paid off my 2 phones! May I have a refund in 2 months? I am still a customer with AT&T at this time.

I used to always dread having to go into deal with other cellphone providers. Once I switched to AT&T I have had nothing but good experiences, especially at the Merriam location. They make sure I know all of my options, if there are new products or better plans, and even when it’s been crazy busy someone made a point to check in with me and let me know I would be taken care of. My friends and family even go out of their way to specifically go to this location over closer ones. Big thanks to all these employees!! (also loving the new HBO max)

I had a very complex issue that took online customer service 6 hours of back and forth phone calls and they never resolved! I worked with Steve, one of the firstnet salesman. He got it all worked out for me! He went the extra mile and stayed past his shift over an hour and worked it out for me. I never leave good reviews, the only time I actually take the time to type up a review is when Im mad at the service, but Steve worked harder than any rep Ive ever worked with. If you need service or just simple help, walk in and ask for Steve he will work it out, he even knows every promotion like the back of his hand!

John Peterson was professional and helpful during my visit. I came in to change service plans around noon, it took less than 15 minutes even with a few other customers in the store. There was zero pressure to purchase a new phone or buy anything I didnt need. Instead, John was trying to get me the most cost effective option possible. They also have a sizable discount just for setting up auto payments on your plan. Store appearance is great and other employees were all courteous and actively helping customers. Will come back when I am ready to upgrade to a new phone.

We arrived as they opened the doors and we were the second person in line. Its over an hour and a half later and the employees are still helping the first customer. I have seen two other customers walk out over the long wait. Customer service doesn’t seem to be the focus of this store. Only 2 employees and 11 people waiting.

My wife and I have been with AT&T for a little under 10 years. I remember leaving sprint in Topeka and walking across the street where we were greeted by Jason who then switched us over. My wife and I recently made a trip to Merriam (IKEA) and just so happened to stop by the AT&T store where we run into Jason. We havent seen the guy since he left Topeka for the Zona Rosa location. Some how Jasons smile still works through the mask. Hes the man!

Tried to get my phone fixed/replaced and the service was very rude. My phone is malfunctioning and I tried explaining to the man working what was wrong. Before I could finish he cut me off and asked me if u wanted to buy a new one or upgrade, I said no and that I have insurance and want my phone fixed/replaced. He was very rude and said they cant do anything, and to just leave. The service at this ATT location is horrible and rude. Do not recommend.

Horrible service. The salesperson tried to con me into believing he could not help me with a support question, even though he clearly had the ability to help. When my spouse calmly called him on his bluff, the situation quickly escalated to the staff threatening to call the police, despite no aggressive or hostile behavior on our part. I am befuddled and appalled by the complete lack of respect that we received from this location. These people care nothing about preexisting customers and are only interested in selling phones for commission.

It was a very busy day for staff when I walked in with a Samsung 7 stuck in an Android update cycle that went on for over 2 hours. Yes, there was a time of waiting but every staff person was already helping someone who arrived earlier. Jason made the rounds of those of us standing in line, greeted each of us cordially and inquired about our need. He directed us to seats and when available, each of us was seen. Courteous and efficient, this staff is going to keep getting our business. Thank you!
