After I was rear-ended at 9 months pregnant, I was hesitant to deal with having my car fixed with all of the other stuff I had going on. Lindan Auto was fantastic about being timely and professional. They were upfront about expectations and made sure I had my car back in a reasonable window. The entire process was a breeze and I’d send anyone needing body work to them!

This will take you back in time with professional standard. I took my Ram in for collision repairs. They said four days and it took an extra day because the tail light didnt meet the standards of the company. Got the light in and it was ready to roll before noon. Hope this helps yall. Great staff. Ive unfortunately had to use them many times, and their communication is fantastic. Their work in the mechanic shop or body shop is top notch as well. Its clear they take pride in their work!

I will literally never go anywhere else for any type of car repair in the future again. I had already paid 50% for an audio place to replace my speakers and my front passenger side quarter panel was dented in so the door wouldnt open and that stopped them from being able to complete the speaker replacement. I went to Mccarthy Auto that day (a Saturday) and was told the only way to repair it is buying a entirely new fender and that it would be a minimum of $1200-1400 after labor. I called Juan with Linda and he had me come in and within 10 minutes he popped it right back out to where the door is functional again. Wouldnt even let me pay or tip him. If you are looking for a place you can trust and not be taken advantage of Lindan is second to none. I will be a lifelong customer for sure!

First time coming here on a recommendation from another mechanic. The work to be done on our SUV made our first mechanic uncomfortable so we came here. While the time frame for completing the service got extended a little, (circumstances unforseen and holiday weekend) the communication was superior and our SUV is functioning 150% better than when we brought it in! The extra time they took was completely worth it to do the great job they did and providing pictures and taking the time to explain the work was extrememly helpful- not something you get from most places. The best you typically get is a line item on your receipt that tells you nothing, this experience was way different. Will for sure recommend them and use them in the future for all our mechanic needs!

Lindan Auto ROCKS!!!! The Body Shop manager, Tom, is incredibly knowledgeable, gracious, and dedicated. I was new to the Kansas City area when my car was hit in a parking lot. I had searched the vicinity for a trustworthy shop and visited two others before learning of Lindan (where I plan to return for all of my future auto needs). I am delighted that I waited, as the service could not have been better. My 2013 Accord was restored to its pristine condition and the shop even removed a nail from my tire and cleaned a spill in my trunk, as well as carefully detailing my vehicle....drumroll: all for free. In a word WOW!!!! Oh, and THANKS!!!!!!!!

Had to get my car towed to Lindan Auto because my alternator was faulty (different mechanic). They finished it quickly over a holiday weekend and were very communicative. They could have easily overcharged me but they were very fair with the labor cost and got me a new alternator under warranty. Absolutely would recommend!

They were friendly and attentive. Didnt wait long. Also got a loaner car. Took my car in for, brakes, ac repair.Update on the service (brakes and AC) I received on my Mercedes I took into have serviced back in April of 2018 approx. Well as it turns out AC works well, blows cold air so no problems there. At least for now.However I am finding out that there are quite a few problems with the brakes and to the service was anything other than professional done. For starters, the brakes squeal when I come to a stop. And thats been going on basically 3 weeks or less since the service. I had arranged to take the car back and have it corrected, but the time I was scheduled was inconvenient for me and I couldnt get it in for service unfortunately. About a month and a half after the service the brake like comes on and anyone with a Mercedes knows that when the service needed like comes on its very obvious and wont go off. Not even when you turn off the car ...for a period of time. So this WILL drain the battery, FYI.So I take the car to Firestone and they tell me that someone didnt connect a sensor. Bottom line, the service for the brakes was horrible. I still paying to rectify the situation. I dont recommend them for brakes. In fact, when I mentioned the squeaking noise, they differed the problem to me saying well it is probably the back brakes. They were not speaking when I brought the car in for service. They were grinding however. The truth is they forgot to us the lubricant that alleviates the noise. AC works great. Brakes horrible. So dropping my rating to 1*.

So, we had been taking our cars back to our old shop in Lawrence. The owner of our old shop recommended Lindan, so we gave them a shot.They took their time to listen to everything I had to say and then quickly identified the work I needed. Turns out the part was under warranty which they honored (parts and labor). They explained my option to put in a higher quality replacement in order to hopefully avoid more work in the future but by no means tried to upsell me. Work was done quickly and at no cost to me. Theyve got a new customer!

Lindan is hands-down the best autocare business in the area. They are HONEST and ethical and genuinely treat customers with care and respect. The owner, Danny, is just a genuinely decent guy. I had my car in for something and mentioned the my trunk popper inside my car no longer worked. He had me open the trunk (with the key) and showed me that just a little switch had flipped and he fixed it on the spot - no charge. Today when I took my car in because it wouldnt start, he drove me home and asked me if I tried holding the gas all they way to the floor when I tried to start it. When I said no, he called the guys at his shop and told them to try and lo and behold, it started! This is the kind of guy he is. He will try to save you money and fix only those things that truly need it. I am a single woman and they treat me like I am intelligent and capable and never talk down to me. And they are completely trustworthy. Ive been going to them for nearly a decade. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend Lindan!! My husband and I have been going to Lindan for years for any repairs on both our vehicle. My parents were recently in town and were experiencing an electrical issue with their vehicle that had not been diagnosed at the Ford dealership in Pittsburg after multiple times of looking at their vehicle and charging for repairs that still did not fix the problem. Lindan thoroughly checked the electrical system and found the cars computer to be faulty and fixed the problem for a reasonable price. All the guys at Lindan are friendly, honest and value taking care of their clients.

My experiences with Lindan have been outstanding. They are knowledgeable, reasonably priced, work in a timely manner and DO NOT try to sell you something you do not need. For example, last summer, I requested they do a thorough examination of my car which had more than 200,000 miles on it as I prepared for a long road trip. They changed my oil and told me that my car was in fine shape and DIDN{T NEED ANYTHING ELSE! They only charged me for the oil change and my car made it through the trip without any problems!

I wouldn’t say they were cheap, but they are a hell of a lot less expensive than a dealership!! And more importantly, they are the only shop I’ve been to where I trust them. There have been several times I have taken the car in after the check engine light came on. They told me what was wrong, told me I didn’t need any repairs, and didn’t even charge me for looking at it. How refreshing is that!!

We were loyal customers for about 6 years. Recently learned that they charge dealer prices for parts and labor. Why pay these prices to off brand shop may as well go the dealer and get manufacturer trained mechanics and dealer warranty. On my recent steering job Lindan did not stay by their repair and wanted to charge me more when I called to let them know that the original problem was not resolved by repair. Get the feeling my family was their cash cow. I suggest price comparison before committing to a job by Lindan and get a a warranty on the job in writing.

Both the body and mechanical guys were extremely nice from the moment I walked in till the moment I walked out. Extremely fair prices, work was done in a timely manner, and they offered me money saving alternatives when it came to the body work of my 11 year old car. I will never go back to the crooks at the dealership!

This is the place I go if I have mechanical or body work needs. They tell you what needs to be done, what could wait but to keep an eye on, and never suggests more work or try to oversell you than what you need to get rolling again. FINALLY I found an auto repair center that is straight-forward, honest, reasonably priced with NO up-sale pressure AND does excellent work (Im an ex-auto mechanic and am always reviewing all maintenance done). I took my Ford to Lindan after punting the local ford dealer due to repeated attempts of bogus maintenance needed. KUDOS.

When my car was first having issues, I took it to a place close to my work. I am new to the city and not sure of the good mechanics in the area. I dont know how they compare in price but I really dont care because they are worth every penny. I will say that they are cheaper than going to a dealership. They can do everything and the people there are all knowledgeable and very friendly.

This is the place you want to go if you have noechanical inclination. Ive always worked on my own vehicles because I never owned anything newer than a 1990 Chevy. I now own 2 newer vehicles that Im not comfortable working on. These guys are very good at Thier jobs, if they can help you out they will. They have handled insurance claims for me, theyve been very honest and up front about all prices which are almost always cheaper than anywhere else, my wife always checks. Everyone is very professional and friendly. CANNOT RECOMMEND THEM ENOUGH!!!

Honest company great service

I went to Lindan after being referred by Donovan Auto. I was told I would be treated right. That was an understatement. As soon as they saw the minor damage to our SUV rear wing ( I hit the garage door backing out) he went in and got some polishing compound and buffed out almost all of the damage. All that was left was a very small scratch and a small chip. He told me that it was plastic and wont rust so if I wanted it repaired all it would take was a touchup paint kit. He even showed me the paint code on my car. NO CHARGE!!!! My wife had received a $400 estimate from another auto body shop in Shawnee.

Though they quickly fit me in, and provided an estimate for repair, and I was greatful they agreed to work on my vehicle while other body shops simply refused, I would get a few quotes before going with them. I found Southwest Body shop in Waldo who did the repair for 1/2 the price that Lindan quoted me. I needed a seatbelt replaced and a new door put on after an accident. Southwest did the seatbelt replacement for $175 while Lindan quoted close to $1,000. I can’t speak to the quality, I’m sure its pretty good, it looks like a professional establishment.

I took my vehicle in to have the air ride suspension replaced. I called and had them order the parts and then made an appointment. They had the vehicle for 9 hours and could not complete the job.But they did have enouth time to find more to repair. I had to come back the next week to have them complete the original job. And it was not complete when I picked it up, I have to turn around and have them finish it. But really amazed me was their arrogance. They made no apology and really didnt care about my time. I overheard them laugh about another customers comment What did you do all day. Needless to say I will not have anything more done by them. While I waited for the second fix. Another person had to come back because their vehicle was not fixed right either. I hope they see this post. Not that any of them will care.

I went into Lindan auto repair to see if they could squeeze me in for a bearing problem, not expecting anything spectacular or even a repair that day. The owner took a car out out of the garage, got me in so that it could be done before I had to go to work then drove me home, showed me a couple good places to eat since im reletively new to the area and then picked me up two hours later. Not only was the repair quality work, it was 100 bucks cheaper than the last time I had my bearing replaced! When he first asked where I lived so he could drop me off I couldnt answer right away since I was caught off guard, never before did an auto place take care of me that well. I was expecting to just sit in the waiting room for a few hours and play flash games :)
