I received excellent service and had a fantastic service advisor Chris. They took a nearly totaled car on the drivers side and made it ride and feel brand new. They worked hand-in-hand with the insurance company and made sure that everything needing to be fixed was, and it was covered. I am grateful for their team and the work that they did. The sign of a professional team is their response to questions or challenges. Hendricks Collision Center was a recommendation from my brother in law after my car was hit in a parking lot. The damage was not extensive, however I wanted the area they hit fixed. Went to another collision center to get an estimate that was closer to where I live prior to going to Hendricks to receive an estimate. When comparing the two the other repair shop was not as thorough with their estimate. Doug (the Collision Center asst manager) was professional, straight to the point, and let me know exactly what parts of the car were going to need repairing/repainting. When I was ready to take the care in for the repairs it was so simple, cut and dry as the rental car was in the same building. Dropped off the car, signed for the rental car and was on my way. Doug called and emailed every day the car was in the shop with a status update. When the car was complete and ready to go, it was a snap dropping off the rental, checking out and approving the fix of the damage to my car and driving away. As an added bonus I did not expect, my car was squeaky clean inside and out, which was nice. All in all from the front counter staff and everyone I needed to work with made me feel at ease with the entire process. I will be recommending Hendricks to everyone I know that needs work done on their vehicle. This collision center is the standard by which others should measure up to.

I needed door hinges replaced on an older conversion van. the collision center was very helpful and the technician did a wonderful job. he even went the extra mile and rehung the curtains that had come unclipped in the back of the van.

Used aftermarket parts on my car and didn’t tell me. Now my bumper (replaced a few months ago) is falling off and they said they can’t do anything about it. Apparently someone “hit my car” even though the bumper wasn’t installed right in the first place.

I have been there to get my Toyota Camry repaired. The staff was really helpful. I would like to mention Mr. Chris Mathis did a fantastic job as a mediator. He was very friendly, helpful and co-operative. I always received a call back from him for all calls which he could not pick up. As far as work on the car is concerned, everything is looking good. They have mentioned all are OEM parts, so I am happy with that. Along with repair work, the car was very cleaned when I received. Detailed work was good too. I highly recommend this center.

Jason Frazier and the team at Hendrick Chevy collision took my poor banged up Toyota Tundra that had been rear-ended and put it back in essentially new condition in about 10 days time. Everyone was friendly, super efficient and did a fantastic job. They arranged for the rental car and the only thing I had to do was sign a few pieces of paperwork. Great experience, I highly recommend them.

Well I bought my car in July of 2017, was told by my salesman I would be getting a clear coating around the entire vehicle, in between handles, around the bottom of the car, etc. to protect the paint from scratching. Which was rolled into my purchase price, So Im bringing my car in to have the edge guard put on. Come to learn it was some overpriced stickers for the sides of my doors only, which I could easily purchase on amazon for FAR less money (they also didnt even bother to wash the car to put these stickers on) This is in addition to discovering, days after I bought my 2015 equinox that the rear speakers in the car did not work. I had to leave work to have this service done, considering they wouldn’t schedule after 1pm or on the weekends for placing the “edge guard”. The service department, decided a 20% discount of an oil change, was sufficient enough... now I get to leave work again, to have them put in a new speaker. I’m just overall disappointed with Hendrick Chevrolet, their service, salesman, loyalty to costumers and much more, this is only one of the bad experience’s I’ve had since purchasing with them, My parents had previously bought many cars through Hendrick, this was my first and my last.

I had a check engine light on and was prepared for a huge repair bill. I had called On Star and they diagnosed it as something that could be a big deal. Turns out the truck was a couple quarts low on oil (170,000 miles) The honesty and integrity of Scott and his techs is outstanding. I know I will always be treated fairly. I guess I just need to start checking the oil more frequently.

Kathy took care of my needs. She worked with her people to determine their database was incorrect insofar as which recalls applied to my car. She ensured the parts were available, made my appointment and met me when I drove in. She set up the arrangements to handle the recalls and she even arranged for diagnostic work to be done on the intermittent Stuck in Park issue that plagues 1,000s of Corvettes due to a faulty Shifter assembly design. As a resolution to the issue with my car, she suggested I spend $700 to repair it. I respectfully declined her offer and plan to wait until GM admits a recall is warranted to fix this safety concern that so many of us Corvette owners live with.The recall work was completed within the schedule Kathy estimated.

The collision work done on my vehicle took two weeks when it was only suppose to take 2 or 3 days. Two different times I was promised a date that my vehicle would be done and no one called to tell me my vehicle wouldnt be done on time and I was rarely called with updates through the whole process. When my vehicle was finally done and I got it home the trunk liner was only partially reinstalled. The explanation I was given was that the technician couldnt figure it out and it seemed like it shrunk so they just left it undone. I had to bring it back up to Chevy and tell the technician how to reinstall it properly. The whole experience left me feeling like customer service was lowest on everyones list of priorities.

My neighbor backed into my car. I got my car fixed under their insurance, USAA. I was told I had a $500 deductible to pay. I explained I am an insurance adjuster, I know how insurance works and I do not owe a deductible since the claim wasnt under my policy. I was told they checked again and verified I owe a $500 deductible. I again tried to explain it wasnt under my insurance, the other carrier accepted liability, however they will not release my car to me. I had to go out of town for work, so I dropped the rental off early since my car was not complete when expected. Im now leaving town for vacation, I was planning to drive my car, guess that wont happen.

After my truck was dropped off at the collision center it sat for a week before it was touched or even parts ordered. Once they did start working on It I found it sitting outside with the glass out after we had a lite sprinkle. 5 weeks later I was told my truck was ready so I stopped in on my way home from work opened the doors to find body shop dust and residues all in the door jams. They also were supposed to paint the rear bumper but instead decided on touch up paint. They agreed to clean the truck better and to bring it on a later date to fix the bumper. July 17 was supposed to be the day to get the issues fixed but once my wife showed up with the truck nobody had a clue what was going on. So here we are 2 months from when my truck was dropped off and still it hasnt been fixed right.Bumper still needs paintedUsed mirror was installed on a truck less than a year old and it has scratches in itFront window leaks water in the cabTruck bed has squeaksDriver Window tint scratch needs fixedThey scratched the bezel around radio screen needs fixedFactory protective tint on door cups and door edges need installedPlus I am stilling finding body shop dust everywhere. Worked with Stan, had a very complicated/odd situation since I was/am still waiting on my buyback check from VW, Stan worked around all the obstacles/questions we had, definitely inspired confidence and extinguished any anxiety we had during the purchasing process. I had an absolutely excellent experience. Just before Christmas my car was stolen, and police found it and returned it to me Christmas eve. There were a couple scratches and chips here and there, and the main damage was on the roof from where the thief removed my Thule roof racks.It was clear to me that Matt at Hendrick goes to work everyday not just to collect a paycheck, but to help people. He went above and beyond working with my insurance (usaa) to get my car really taken care of. Almost the entire car was repainted, and he even got usaa to approve replacing my racks with brand new, top-of-the-line Thule Aeroblade racks.

When I called in the morning to get my car, they had no idea who I was, where my car was, until I called the police to report my vehicle stolen, then suddenly found it at the dealer next door and all they did was apologize.

I have had my car in the collision center for 5 days now. I finally got a call back after leaving two voicemails asking about the status of the the work since Tuesday, knowing they could at least tell me what work needed done as they had already looked at it. I was in formed that someone had already contacted me (which is a complete and total lie). They informed me they still dont have the parts in and that it will take a week to perform 12 hrs of work. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership but I will not be returning.

I came in to have a wheel looked at on my 2015 Yukon XL that was making a bump sound. They told me that the rim was bent and I needed a new tire and rim. I asked about it as I could not see anything at all visually. They said it showed an impact on the tire and the test they did showed the rim was bent. They wanted $990 for a new tire and rim. I said okay as it was supposedly in stock. They got it all taken apart and then found out that they didnt have the rim in stock. They remounted the wheel and in all the process took 6 hours. I left irritated as I have to drive an hour to the dealership. However to my surprise as I drove home and ever since, the noise is gone! I stopped at a local and trusted mechanic later that day and he looked at it and said when they rotated my tires the last time I was in, it probably wasnt mounted right, but there was no bend in the rim or impact on the tire. Imagine my reaction as I almost spent a thousand dollars on a problem that didnt need fixing!! Makes me NOT trust this dealership!!

I took my 2011 Chevrolet Camaro SS to the collision center after a slab of house siding went through my grill and punctured some internals. The communication did not hold to my expectations, I had to call several times and leave several messages to speak to Marc Couch who was the estimator on my vehicle. The length of time needed to do the repairs were much longer than I was initially told. Last but not least, my car had clear coat overspray EVERYWHERE, Including all over the windows. The fresh paint they had laid down was not completely polished to match the rest of the car, the machine polisher they use left swirls that stood out like a sore thumb. Overall, I am disappointed in the service and the quality of their work, even after telling Marc Couch, Im only worried about quality, take your time he left the car looking worse and now I can honestly say I do not love the car anymore because of the small details that were not finished. I will not be spending hours upon hours repairing the damage that Hendrick Chevrolets Collision Center caused. I do not recommend allowing them to repair anything if you are particular on how your car looks after the repair. Step it up Hendricks Chevrolet of Shawnee Mission.
