Bought a car a month and a half ago from them was working fine but sold with bad battery and car died multiple times leaving me stranded if you buy a car from them check the battery date before you buy if you don’t feel like getting another battery right away another total scam sold me a car with thousands of dollars in suspension damage worth more then the cars value total loss wouldn’t recommend just go to the actual dealer your better off then taking a risk and buying there junk paperwork was quick and was on my way within an hour

When I called to purchase a car and start working out details of the deal. They insisted that I drive 200+miles to come see their inventory I told them I could not do that and they became extremely rude and disrespectful. They said I’d have to drive that far to do business when all dealerships are willing to work with you about the distance. They not only hung up on me but blocked my number! Would not recommend buying a car from them!

No hassle experience! Straight up and honest. Went to look at a 2007 Acura TL, was test driving it within 10 minutes of arriving. No mechanical issues, nice interior, clean paint job. They also had a complete carfax on the vehicle. Decided to buy, and had everything worked out and was driving car back home in under an hour. Received the title about 2 weeks after purchase. Found them on the carfax website. I think being a carfax dealer offers great transparency and creditably for a used car lot. Very hassle free and easy to deal with.

He was also kind enough to hold the vehicle we wanted for us for a few days until we got the loan from the bank. He even threw in a KState front license plate that he had in his office when we mentioned we were KSU grads/fans. We’d definitely work with them again!

Stopped by to look at a car listed for $999 on Facebook. After looking at the car I decided to make an offer, and was immediately informed we raised the price to 1200 plus 300 admin fee, car is $1500. Of course they had excuses about working on the car, and claimed they changed the Facebook price the previous day. Misrepresentation at its finest, typical shady used car dealer.2 weeks before this experience I bought a cash as is car from another small used car dealer and had no issues. Showed up, made an offer, paid the agreed price with nothing extra, and was on my way.In response to the dealers reply:I never said the car was overpriced, and the work I was told was done was nowhere near $500 worth of parts. As I called about a $1000 car I fully expected I would need to make some repairs, the fact doesnt change my time was wasted by a shady dealer that changed the price I drove out there for. Its your right to advertise whatever you want and then change it upon my arrival, its my right to make sure others know this is something you do.

I saw so many great reviews and had hope. They had a nice car, but there was work needed and they agreed. We tried to make a cash offer and the son was just rude and doesn’t want to hear anything you have to say. The owner was a nice guy, but when someone is snapping, trying to rush you to buy or get out, we felt the vibe and left.Some people really need to know how to treat people.

Process was quick and easy. Dealer was straight to the point and willing to provide all documentation we asked for and did not try to sell us on anything we did not want. Dealer was willing to work with us on reaching what we felt was a fair price. Honest about the car having previous cosmetic incidents. The only thing that was jarring was that when we called the number on the website we were told we had to call someone else to set up appointments and they were a little curt.

I emailed earlier about a car they did not no anything about it. Went there yesterday and nobody would help. I saw several employees chatting but none acknowledged me or offered help. Horrible

Bought a used VW Tiguan back in fall of 2020 and they sold it to us with multiple mechanical issues. Within a week I was stranded on the side of the road calling AAA because I had an emergency check engine light on my dashboard. They fixed that immediate problem, but I have had other issues with the throttle and electrical system in the car that they will not fix. My dad and I have called them several times trying to set up a repair appointment or trying to ask questions about the problems and they always claim to not remember who we are, claiming were not in their system, and other frustrating excuses. Long story short, I am taking my car to be serviced somewhere else, and I would not recommend buying a used car from them, as they will sell you cars that are unsafe.

Ive now bought three cars from Allen Automotive.Ive always been very leery when it comes to buying a car. The pitfalls are many, the loss can be thousands of dollars if you end up with a lemon, so finding sales people you can trust is of the utmost importance.In 2014, I first met Brad Allen when I took my Buick Lucerne to Allen Automotive garage. The car was well past the 100,000 mile mark and it was having some serious mechanical issues.Brad gave me a 2012 Infiniti to drive while his mechanics checked it out. I fell in love with that car immediately. Brad gave me a list of the repairs that the Buick needed, but we started negotiating the price of the Infinite.Thats what I like about the folks at Allen Automotive, they are willing to negotiate and to provide clear documentation about the cars history without a runaround. Everyone goes out of their way to be helpful. Anyway after a few days, we reached a deal that was satisfactory to us all.Fast forward to this summer. I have two grandsons, one is a senior in high school and one is in college. The senior needed a first-time car, and the college students car had just been totaled when a driver hit his car.The senior spotted online a 2006 Audi for sale that just happened to be at Allens Automotive.I laughed when he told me, and called Brad. We then met with Waseem, the car sales manager, drove the car, negotiated and worked out a satisfactory deal.Allen also had a 2008 Audi that my college student decided he wanted. Again, negotiated, discussed and agreed on a price.Both cars are amazingly clean for 12 and 14 years old, have a great ride and a smooth-sounding engine with practically new tires. Each had only 120,000 miles.I think we got fantastic deals on both cars. I highly, highly recommend Allens Automotive if you are looking for a small used car dealership and garage that can be trusted and has been in the Merriam-Shawnee area for years.

Overall the car is good and runs properly. The salesman was pleasant and worked with us which I appreciated. My complaints come to some smaller things, the car not being inspected before I bought it, (bought in state but they got it from out of state) all the floor mats being in bad condition and placed in the trunk in a way that I didn’t notice until I bought it, almost no oil in the car and the biggest is the rusted and broken bolts in the license plate holes on the back of the car.I like my car and it runs good but be aware and check everything, I wish I had.

Just another reminder that these Clowns stuck it to me a couple of years ago costing me thousands on a trade in. They misrepresented a Lexus and sold me a FWD vehicle knowing I wanted and needed an AWD SUV just like the one I was driving. Same color, half the miles. It was a fast transaction as I drove in from Omaha to pick it up late on a Friday afternoon. I realized the con the next day and they told me to stick it. They knew.These guys are predators. Beware.

I had my Honda Odyssey worked on at Allen Automotive.....All I can say is Outstanding! Had it diagnosed at the Honda dealer first for problems with both electric sliding doors. After only an hour the Honda dealer says replace everything, to the tune of $2200. Not exactly in my budget.So I went to Allen Automotive and his mechanic had it apart and completely diagnosed to the part within 2 or 3 hours. There was only one bad part (and not the 6 or 7 Honda wanted to sell me). Brad ordered the part and had me back on the road in less than 24 hours. Everything is working as designed and it cost about 70% less than Hondas price.Great dealership, excellent mechanic, and all around good guys.Thanks again!!!

Drove clear out there from Paola only to discover that they had sold the vehicle I was interested in. They didnt take it off Facebook Marketplace quick enough. Looked at another car there briefly, but was unimpressed when I saw the poor condition of the tires on it. I wont be going back.

Upon arriving at this dealership I was met by a worker (the son of the owner) he was very nice and helpful. I found a car I liked and decided on going forward with getting approved for it. The owner arrived to help with the process Brad Allen, at first he was very helpful and nice. But once I explained to him that I wanted to take a couple days to think about the offer and that I wasnt going to be purchasing it that day, he shut his computer off, threw his glasses on the desk, and said BYE! as he walked out and slammed the door to speed off. I do not recommend stopping by this place as he is so unprofessional, I really was going to return after taking some time to think about the offer. BUT NOT ANYMORE!

Would give negative stars if possible. Brad (owner) requested a $500 deposit to hold vehicle so I could come in the next day to look at. The Car (Toyota Highlander) looked great, but had a squeak coming from dash and a rumble near rear axle whenever we went over a bump. He could not explain what it was. When I said not going to buy the vehicle he refused to refund my deposit. If the car was in 100% solid shape I would have understood, but not going to purchase vehicle with known mechanical issues. Shop elsewhere, this place is a scam.

Brad Allen stole my tools. I am heading back there tomorrow with the police to resolve this issue. I worked for him and then got into legal issues and couodnt get them until about a year later. He was not asked to store the tools or anything. He just stole my tools and tool box because he is trash.

I swung by on a Sunday and looked at a Chevy Volt with Brandon, the owners son. He was very respectful and was leaning towards purchasing the vehicle when I got my financing set up the following week.I ultimately decided not to deal with this dealership after looking through many reviews online. Some bad reviews alone wouldnt completely turn me away. Youll always get unhappy customers, especially with used cars. What was really alarming was how the owner responds to people giving bad reviews. I imagine if I had an issue with one of his cars, hed be talking to me the same way.

They said they would fix the issue for free right...not even a month later the same thing happened and when I asked if they could really actually fix it this time they wanted to charge me and said..well it lasted a month! Yea thats my point u cheap bastards! Its not like Im asking you to fix a different problem! Im asking you to fix what should have really been fixed the first time instead of Jerry rigging it!
