I went into this store yesterday to ask 2 questions. It was about 5 minutes to close but they were simple and could be answered easily. They answered my first question no problem when I went to ask my second question it was 2 min to close. Their representative said Im sorry were closing call customer service and started walking to the door. I didnt want to deal with there mess of phone trees and thats why I went in. It was very rude and I hope they dont treat others that way but we wont go back to that store.

I left this company due to their complicated metrics...I paid of my phones and canceled their service, kept getting billed $75.85 a month and called to query but was told my number was no longer active, went to the shop but were to busy near closing time to serve me, went back and waited almost an hour for a billing clerk to get to me and she said I had a tablet that was still on line and she couldnt take it off that I had to call another number. What a circus! Youd think when a service is canceled that if there were other things they would notify you and tell you, not just keep billing you for an unused item and service. Expect delays and big bucks any time you want to deal with them.

Staff was knowledgeable and friendly but I will never purchase another phone at a Verizon authorized retailer. Went to this store to purchase a replacement (upgrade) phone for my wife and myself. The phone I wanted was not in stock. They had the one we wanted for my wife so we purchased it. We were told that it would cost $150+ to take it out the door. This was to cover the setup charge, a case, a charger, glass protection, and sales tax. (The phone was to be paid for on a 24 month plan on Verizon bill) We were not given a choice to decline any of these items. The more I thought about this the more irritated I became. Called Verizon and was told this was not the policy in company owned stores. Ordered my phone online and set it up myself. Also, when I checked the My Verizon web site I discovered my wifes phone had been placed on a service plan that I did not want. Fortunately I was able to remove the plan before being billed.

We went to the Meridian location today to see what options we had with my sons broken phone. We were put on a waiting list with a few customers in front of us and told to wait in the parking lot. We received the initial text saying that they would let us know when we were one customer away from being helped. We waited in the parking lot for over an hour and a half, until we were so frustrated we left. We never received another text message saying our appointment was ready. This is my second bad experience at this location.

They completely ripped off my elderly mother by trying to upsale her products Like screen protectors for $35 dollars for one, when online you can buy a pack of 3 from the same company for $10. She also asked for the cheapest unlimited package, and they guaranteed it was, then checking her statement online they charged her $55 a month (the most expensive plan) for over a year and a half when there’s a $35 unlimited option that fits her needs perfectly and is what she asked for. Verizon does offer great services and coverage, but the lies and the blindly locking her into contracts and upselling her products and signing her into the most expensive plan possible when she hardly Uses her phone and asked for the cheapest plan is wrong, shady and fraudulent. The salesman should be ashamed of themselves and sued. I’m currently reaching out to the corporate office and looking into legal action if they aren’t willing to resolve the hundreds of dollars they’ve stolen from my elderly retired mother.

Today is no exception as I sit here on hold in the showroom waiting for someone to take my call since none of the 7 CSRs standing around talking to eachother can do anything to help me. This provider is garbage and their service is the worst, especially the Eagle location!

This specific store has terrible customer service. When my wife and I show up, there is a sign on the door that says appointment only, theres only two customers inside and like five of us outside in the 100 degree heat. Then some short fat guy comes out and says he can’t fit us into an appointment until Friday, without even the decency to let us inside to let us know. They say their short staffed, but there was more employees standing around inside doing nothing than customers being helped! The manager of this place should get fired for sure, Verizon is known for good customer service, this store is the black eye of the company!!!

They wont allow medical exempt customers with face shields in store. Must be a fabric mask.The employees came to my car and helped me at the window, but ai couldnt go inside. They were constantly touching their face masks because they would drop off their mouth or nose, or it was making it hard for them to breathe so they would pull it off to get a breath.I was safer in my face shield than they were in their masks touching them every 10-20 seconds.Would be five stars otherwise.

Came in to purchase a phone after calling and charity told me I couldnt and would have to make an appointment. Guess will purchase somewhere else. It wasnt the fact that guidelines are being followed it was the customer service and the fact that she didnt answer any questions I had. Also if you have to make an appointment it should be known instead of wasting peoples time coming down.

This is my Verizon store, and up to now, theyve given me excellent service. But today, I arrived to find a security guard outside to keep people away if they dont want to wear a mask. Wow! I went before Christmas to get two upgrades (new phones) for family gifts. The salesman told me the family could change phone colors, Just come on in and we will let them pick thier own color. Additionally, I was promised they would handle the back up, as we didnt know how. When we came in to do these things (about a week after Christmas) we were charged $50 each phone to change colors - unopened and unused. The manager refused to come out to speak with us, even though we requested him several times. The back up took 8 hours (We were required to wait the whole time) and the manager never did come out. Finally, with the back up still not finished, the store was closing and we had to leave. We were out another $100.. With no back-up. After another several hours at home, my teen son finally figured out how to do it for us, ourselves. This was a shady experience with highly trained but often dishonest salespeople. I was planning on upgrading my own phone that next day too, but decided not to purchase another phone there.

Ridiculous current store covid appointment policy. Appointments are currently running month and a half out. Not good for customer service, this needs reassessment. Spoke with employee at location, didnt have a clue about the length of the appointment waiting list. Spoke with other customers in parking lot, same opinion. Great way to loose customers. The worst thing about cell phone customer service is that you get none! Just to simply call the local store to ask a phone question that cannot be done on the website, you get prompt after prompt that is circular so you never talk to a person. Customer service used to mean something in my day. Verizon was better in the past, but not now. Preview of this store suggests its a hit and miss issue. Owner/Manager comments are repetitive and it seems like they never get the customer service problem corrected. Time to look for another carrier.

They require you to make an appointment then they dont let you in without a cloth face covering. I had my face shield they they told me I needed to cover my nose and mouth with a cloth mask. No thank you I rather be able to breathe then to kill myself over a new phone. T mobile will be my new phone company.If you have a medical condition Verizon dosent care stay away.

They replaced my SIM card and didnt give me the old one. A couple of days later someone from the store used my information and bought 2 iPhones in Georgia on my account. 1 was alerted to their fraud division. The other phone was picked up at the Verizon store on Eagle Rd. They gave a $1300. phone to someone without checking their ID? Really?? I ended up having to go to the Meridian Police Department and report it. After I received no help from Verizon. I no longer use Verizon after 15 years of service. Im thankful that I never added any credit cards to my phone. Its a felony and Im pressing charges.

I have only previously only gone to this store to purchase my phones and thankfully my phones worked without issues till they ran out of space. this morning I looked at my phone over breakfast and it somehow it initiated a factory reset. I drove over to the Meridian Verizon to have them take a look and was met by a security guard asking why I was there. I went through my song and dance as he took my phone and tried to work on it. I found this a bit odd as Im at the Verizon store to seek professional help. As he is playing with my phone I notice a line forming and I am not in it as I am with the security guard. The the guard unable to fix my phone I now get in the back of the line and wait my turn. When its my turn im informed by a rude angry woman that you cant go into the store without an appointment. I now know why they have a security guard and why he tried to help me. I have lost all my family photos, just a surreal experience.To up date, today I waked right in to the independent Verizon store on Meridian Road without an appointment and was seen within 5 minutes. I was informed that my calling plan was actually discontinued in February of this year, which explained why I could no longer make international calls. I also learned that I have been paying an extra $10.00 a month on my bill since February and actually receiving less data and no international calling. In short use, use an independent Verizon Store, its like stepping back in time by eight months, when Verizon customer service was not an oxymoron.

Save yourself some time and frustration and skip this store and go online. I’m basing my review of a few visits to the store over the past few months and not just one instance. The store does not do a good job of respecting peoples time and is not worried about offering the best customer service possible. I’ve gone in to upgrade my family’s eligible phones and I stood in line for 20 minutes and then had an associate work with me for another 10 minutes before I was told there was no incentive/sale available to me and that I need to pay full price on phones. (she kept going into the back of store before she could answer my questions about my plan for some reason) After calling Verizon customer service and speaking with a representative, I was able to find an offer to save money right away so I knew the information I was given in the store was false. Other times I’ve had to wait an unacceptable amount of time for an available associate to simple pick up online orders. But the instance that made me decide that it was time to write a review is when I went in again recently to return a cell phone case and was told it would be a 50 MINUTE wait to make a return! That is just unacceptable. I asked if there was anything that could be done instead of waiting that long for a simple return and I was told my only option was to wait in line. (Maybe one of the two people just standing at the front of the store checking people in could have taken care of my return in a matter of minutes?) So to sum things up I don’t know if the store is under-staffed of under-trained but either way it’s not worth your time wasted to go to this store to handle your Verizon needs.

I would give 0 stars if possible. I ordered a phone online that said was available for pick up at this store. When I went to pick it up, the sales rep who assisted me told me he couldnt give me my phone because the order hadnt processed from his tablet to his scanner device so he couldnt check out the phone. As it was close to closing time, we agreed it would be best for me to come by the next day to pick it up. The sales rep took my number and told me he would contact me if there were any problems. I did not hear from him.The next day I stopped after work to pick up my phone. I was again told they couldnt give it to me. Although they could see my order in their systems and I had the bill of sale on my Verizon account, there was apparently an email I was supposed to receive and click a link on to verify I was who I said I was. The in store sales rep this time told me there was nothing they could do for me and I would have to call tech support.Once again, I left without the phone I had already been billed for and had proof of purchase of. I attempted to call customer service, and got a link for a chat system I used instead. After explaining the issue I was having, the person told me theyd send me the email I needed. Instead, they sent me an email of the exact same proof of purchase I already had available on my account.I called customer service again and am now waiting for a human being to pick up. Over an hour of waiting so far. If/when they finally do, will most likely cancel my order. Since we are no longer under contract, will also consider cancelling service all together.

VERY frustrating experience.Walked in to port 3 lines, one on a new One Plus 7 Pro, two on older Samsung J7s. After a couple hours we walked out having to purchase 2 new phones because AFTER telling us the J7s would work, they mysteriously wouldnt once the porting process disconnected our old service. Then...only the One Plus phones line worked. I had to call support two more times and spent a total of 7-8 HOURS to get all three lines working, and we couldnt get either of the J7s numbers to port, frustrating!If youre there for a totally new line, it should be relatively painless, but porting was a freaking nightmare!On the plus side, my wife is starting to love her Google Pixel 3!

(*Back story* I grew up with Verizon. I was on my parents plan until I was 18 yo. I made the silly mistake of getting on a Sprint plan with my boyfriend at the time. I was on the account owner on my Sprint plan for 18 mo. That 18 mo. was HELL. I dont even want to begin with how many issues Ive had with Sprint. So, I decided to get back on my parents plan with Verizon and since then it has been so smooth!)Today, I was attempting to suspend my boyfriends line (there were some issues in the process) but the manager (cute Hispanic with tattoos) stuck with me the whole time assuring we would get my situation handled. I always leave Verizon or get of the phone with their customer care with a smile. The whole company is sincere with the help they deliver.

I was prepared to battle kid meltdowns because the last time (about 3 years ago)I purchased a new phone from Verizon I was there for 3 hours. To my surprise, the wait time was under two minutes and Krystal had me in and out of there in 15 minutes with all my questions answered and my new phone in hand.Krystal answered all my questions, and I had many. She explained all the charges in an effort to be as transparent as possible. I liked that I didn’t have to ask what a particular charge was for, she just went down the line explaining each one.

I just upgraded to the new motor z2 force and every now and then it automatically answer or make calls and default to speaker phone and I went last night and they were just going to get me a new phone but there system went down so they had me call 611 and I was handed over to a tech there buy the name of Ricky and he tried everything thing he could take us into a tech help site but he said it looked like it is a software problem because when he tried to hook us up thru cables it always failed so he said to take in to the store today and the gentleman in the store told they could ship me one which he said would take 3 to 4 days and I leave for the Caribbean in 2 days so not happy and I barely got to work today and it started answering on speaker again.

The old adage is almost always true--you get what you pay for. In this case, Verizon Wireless is far and away the cellular company with the most expansive, most reliable network of any carrier. I assume either their procedures are too complicated or they are understaffed.An issue with the battery expanding was the cause for a replacement phone. Went in just over two years ago. My wife and I purchased HTC phones. Verizon has an excellent network and there were no surprises on billing. Four stars instead of five due to initial wait time to get a sales rep. The store was very busy. The rep did a great job explaining options,, took time to transfer data from old phones, etc.Weve been seeing upgrade offers from Verizon and we are returning tonight (same store) to look at M9 and S5 models.

I came in and the salesman quoted a price with a promotion. We went through the entire process of porting over only to not get the promotional price. Salesman jerked me around so I grabbed my phone and left. I asked when the promotion ended and he said yesterday. Trade in on my iPhone went from 500 to 300 to then 50. I don’t ask for a miracle but at least use reasonable logic and a straightforward approach. Don’t promise me a Mercedes and deliver a yugo.

Good place but horrible follow through. We set up a reoccurring payment in store and intended on paying all of the charges in the spot. As a corporate Verizon, I expected more. When we entered the store, no one greeted us, and there were three reps in the store who could have said Welcome to Verizon! But nothing. Finally someone came to let us know that a rep will be with us in a moment after checking us in. We perused the store, which was very well-stocked and impressive. When our rep was ready for us, he approached us and said, Whose number ends in 9703? I thought that was a very strange way of greeting someone. When I said it was my number, he never introduced himself. I got his name from his tag, Cristobol. He was a very pleasant person, putting up with our group as we discussed amongst ourselves what we wanted to do, but not once did he review any promotions unless I asked about them. A little about me, Im a former Verizon employee of 2 years, so I know my stuff. Who knows, maybe my family would have added some IPads or watches to the order today. But he never asked, offered, or did what a sales associate should do: sell. Onto my true complaint: he did not turn on our phones after our purchases. We did a buy one get one for a discount and ported over 2 lines from another carrier. Yeah, you wanna turn on those bad boys to make a test phone call to make sure the port went through. When I asked him 3 times in various forms (Im surprised your store doesnt turn on the phones....are you going to active the phones...are you going to turn the phones on...) Cristobol replied that the store does not turn on the phones because Samsung and Google make turning on new phones a streamlined process. Phony bologna. He also knew that we were going to be swapping SIM cards from the new phones and putting them on different lines. He didnt offer to help with that. He also didnt offer to help transfer any content from the old phones to the new ones. He also didnt offer any accessories, like screen protectors or cases. As we purchased these phones on New Years day, the store closed at 4pm. Cristobol hurried our transaction by not making sure our questions were answered about our new phones, and he opened the exit door and stood there to hurry us out so he could leave for the day. Over all, Im very disappointed with this experience.
