Just from the phone call to schedule an appointment gave good vibes. They were professional and helpful. Their system that notifies you of what they did works great! Answered questions, patient with the questions since i didnt know why. Everything they said was as they said. So far so good. Definitely a company to call and truly consider for future stuff!

I stopped by because I had been told none of my break lights were working. I was expecting to schedule an appointment and go back another day but the gentleman wasnt comfortable having me drive the car and said he would work me in that day and get it taken care of. That was awesome of them to do and very much appreciated. Only downside is that they are very expensive.

I took my Dodge Challenger in for a transmission fluid change and a radiator fluid change. Before I got home from dropping it off they called and advised that I hold off on the transmission service as I still had a years warranty on the drive train. They could have easily just changed the fluid and made money off me but they showed a high level of integrity by looking out for me over their short term gain. They also displayed technical competence and professionalism. I will be going back!

I had a stellar recommendation from a friend with the same truck, but newer. When I called, I was really disappointed to learn they dont work on old vehicles. Seems to be a trend.

Heritage Auto Repair was highly recommended to me for diesel engine and transmission repair for my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. I had my truck towed in from out of state and they stayed after hours to accommodate the delivery. On short notice they had a well qualified mechanic look at it in a timely manner and pulled the motor and do an assessment of the repairs needed and provided several options. The were very fair in the work completed and their service by everyone was excellent. The cost of services was very fair and I would highly recommend their services to anyone especially if you have a Dodge truck. They are especially knowledgeable and I liked the way they explained everything in detail so I could make an informed decision. They also honored my Veteran service with a discount. I usually have a hard time letting shops touch my truck, since my truck is modified and I have spent many hours working on it myself, but I met Tony a couple months ago at a neighborhood Halloween get together and after talking with him for a bit I figured I would give them a try.I was very impressed with everyone I interacted with when bringing in my truck. Everyone had extensive knowledge on what was happening with my transmission and even explained how my racing setup effected my performance. They went the extra mile working with the manufacturer to make sure they werent missing anything and even called me just to get permission to add fluid that was low, saying they didnt want to spend my money without my consent (I really appreciated that).While my truck was in their hands, I received text alerts of the items they completed and even pictures of my truck. I had never experienced anything like that and thought it was an added bonus to not have to call and check up on them at all.I give them an A+ and will recommend them to anyone. Awesome work Heritage. I will be back.

My mothers VW was towed to Heritage. They thoroughly explained what problems they found and her repair options to her. They provided excellent customer service, they were personal, courteous and professional and made my mother feel comfortable and confident in using them for her auto repairs. They are always willing to look at a vehicle weather they are going to do the repair or I am. They charge for diagnostics of course. As well as check for other things that can go wrong later. If they cannot find what is concerning me they will give it a valiant effort and keep notes on account incase the issues come back. They have taken care of. Couple of my vehicals in the past and Ill be taking my new to me care here to them in a few days.

I knew my engine error code before leaving my truck. I’d researched the reasons for this code & was prepared for the worst. I knew it could be any of several expensive parts. After they checked it out they found the clamp on the throttle body not positioned correctly and the charge tube barely on throttle body. They repositioned the call and charge tube fully on the throttle body. That fixed it. I paid for a bit of labor is all. They could have tried to sell me expensive parts & tons of labor. BUT THEY WERE STRAIGHT UP HONEST ABOUT IT. Truck is working great! This group is great to work with. Will take future repairs right back here! Travis was the advisor & RA was the technician. Great experience for me.

Was having some trouble with our cars heater. Brought the car in at 8, and they had it fixed by lunch. Has worked well ever since! Staff is courteous and their work is excellent.

I bought a used diesel this year and I had no problems with it throughout summer. Once it started getting colder my truck struggled and eventually wouldn’t start on those cold mornings. They were able to determine my glow plugs were bad and fixed my truck up along with giving me a list of maintenance things I could plan on fixing in the future. A couple weeks later my truck wouldn’t start so back to Heritage it went and they found that my battery terminals were lose so my truck wasn’t getting full power. I dropped it off without an appointment both times and both times they were able to get me in and out quicker than I expected. I would highly recommend them as they were very friendly and informative, even on services/installations they don’t perform and they let me know where to look to get them done.

I chose Heritage for two reasons. My familiar auto repair shops could not see my Volvo for 7-10 business days. Heritage could see me in 2. Online reviews were outstanding and full of useful feedback. This made scheduling an appointment an easy decision. Scott went on the test drive with me and used his Volvo experience to diagnose the problem (failed engine mounts). Travis did check-in/out and repairs. At checkout, he applied the First Time Customer discount even though I failed to print out the coupon. Glenda was helpful on the phone when I needed an update. She even texted post-repair for follow-up. The customer service is excellent. The waiting room is clean and relaxing. Pricing is fair and competitive. I took my Lexus in for a persistent issue that hasn’t subsided with numerous attempts on my part. I told them what I had tried and let them diagnose. They sent me a THOROUGH report of what they had found including other issues I may have wanted to address. Communication was professional and the staff was trustworthy. Definitely will be back

What a great Team, We bought a used Chevy Cruze about a year later we noticed the fan not working and car had no power. We had gotten other estimates and they were all in the same price range. We talked with Brent and Toney and they kept it in our Budget. As busy as they were and dealing with so many persons they were able to over deliver they Earned our Trust and are our mechanic. Check engine light was analyzed and proper repairs were made. My car has since run like a new vehicle. In addition to all this they had to replace the battery because it failed just before I was to take car in for diagnosis of engine light being on. I was very pleased with their honesty and service.

The power steering assist went out on my classic car. Replacement parts are not available. Heritage found a place to rebuild the unit. Now the steering for my sweet little car is much better! Thank you Heritage for taking such good care of my special car.

The word heritage is defined as an inheritance, old fashioned, or a traditional brand or product emblematic of fine craftmanship. A definitive word that in all reality from a marketing prospective screams hometown value. Even this establishments website touts a heritage in my native Meridian, Idaho. It is an excellent page developed well with heart string pulls and attention to a perception of value. In dealing with these folks initially my perception was good. I had bought an older Chevy Tahoe with anticipation of throwing some dollars into it for a grocery go getter and to transport larger items around. Approximately 4500 dollars later and after multiple visits, engine on and off lights were diagnosed, oil burn was diagnosed, multiple gaskets were replaced, yet after oil pan seals, transfer case seals, new valve cover, steering linkage replacement, problems still persisted. Initially I wanted a quote on repairs and was given one for approximately 1200.00. I paid for the repairs yet every time a new problem arose. When they changed the oil pan gasket the sensor attached to the pan stopped working, but after the initial 1200.00 I had tallied around 4500.00 in repairs total after multiple visits. In the end after a transfer case gasket was replaced a hole developed in said transfer case itself...quoted 3300.00 for that repair...again last handled by the heritage. In closing I was contacted twice by text asking how my experience was. I replied accordingly with my concerns...yet nothing ever ultimately came of it. Even upon the last visit and in them checking to see if the oil sensor or the transfer case leak was warrantable I was charged 230.00 for them to look at it. The Tahoe is now gone...and the Heritage Auto that is in Meridian, Idaho holds the same heritage that Meridian lost years ago and to be frank is held no longer..in the end the structure proclaimed by the very summon of the word heritage has in my mind not stood up to the definition therefore mentioned. Will not return.

The customer service is good. The waiting room is good. In the past I have always had something go wrong. Originally I brought my late Aunts car to be inspected and made sure it was safe and reliable for my children. I followed every recommendation made by the mechanic. Three months later I go to turn on the air conditioner and find it doesnt work. I contact them and they say it is policy to check that it blows. When reviewing their notes they find for some reason my car wasnt checked so they will give me a credit for the money I paid to have it checked. No refund for the work not done. I drive the car for three more months and it breaks down. This car has less than 100k miles. Left me and my kids stranded. I still have this credit so I take another car to them to use the credit. I call days in advance to make the appointment. I gave them all the information about my car. I tell them Ill have a 1 year old with me no I need to drop it off or wait for it. They tell me it will be under 45 minutes. I get their and wait and wait and wait. After an hour and 15 minutes I ask them how much longer and they then tell me they didnt have the filter my car needed and had to go get one. Someone should be back with it soon. So the 1 year old and I continued to wait. I still have some credit left here. Its just easier to pay other people to do the work that go back here to claim my own money.

They did a fantastic job on regular oil change. Took very good care of my car ! They answered and explained everything I asked about. The staff is professional and helpful.

I have an old Honda Accord that needed a replacement catalytic converter. Through a referral, I got connected with Heritage. The cost they gave me was more reasonable than the dealership. They are also a friendly and very professional team so I feel very good about the service they provided.

They charged me for repairs that was not done . Terrible place to take your car trust me . lazy mechanics . Also I would like to mention that when I looked under the hood I noticed 2 connector wires that look like maybe it was supposed to be clipped back into something . When I asked them they told me oh those dont go to nothing just zip tie the to the side. ZIP TIE IT TO THE SIDE !!! WELL come to find out those connectors were supposed to be connected back on to the compressor for the A/C . Whats wrong with you and they didnt even do a diagnostics on my car cause if so they would of found the problem which was not the fan that they said needed to be replaced it was the a bad connection wire to the under hood fuse relay box which only costed me $128 at another machanic shop I had to take it to to fix it cause heritage has under qualified lazy men doing machanic work that did more damage then good charged me 1599 to replace a hose instead crooked oof you tell me also I would recommend taking your car to tune tech downtown Boise they did a phonnominal job told them my issue and they did the diagnostics on my car had it fixed in an hour and only 128 bucks. I truly wished I had known about them sooner cause I could of saved soooo much money and had more maintenance stuff done on my car and they are very honest and good people . I will never take my car to any other place but tune tech downtown Boise my fan that I had issues with for months and spent way to much money with heritage to have the problem not fixed and they had my car for a week . Tune tech looked at my car fixed the problem my fan works I am so greatful for them . Heritage shouldnt even be allowed to work on peoples car and take advantage of a single mom and charge me 1599 to have one freaking hose replaced SERIOUSLY ! SHAME THAT YOU GUYS ARE EVEN IN BUSINESS BBB SHOULD TAKE ANOTHER LOOK AT YOUR BUSINESS.

The folks at Heritage Auto Repair are great to work with and are always very courteous to their customers. They actually listen to when he customer describes a problem with their car.They do their best to complete the repairs when they estimate they will be done. But, lets face it, cars to dont always cooperate in this are. They also explain the seriousness of the issue.Once they have inspected the vehicle, if they find something they alwayscome out and explain the issue before starting a repair.Their pricing is quite reasonable. They always stand behind their work and fix any issues that they missed in the inspection.

I brought my Durango to Heritage last week for a dead oil pump. They were really good about squeezing me in last minute and very friendly and helpful over the phone. The job appears to have been done well and the price was right around average. Id bring my vehicle here again.

I took my car in for an issue which turned out to be something that would cost thousands of dollars to completely fix, probably as much as the car is worth at its age. They were very honest and helpful and told me what they personally would do - a repeated temporary ‘fix’ that cost next to nothing. I really appreciated their integrity!

Fair prices and great service.

First time dealing with this place. Neighbor speaks highly of them and they are really close by. Looking for a new shop for diesel repairs. Guys were friendly and professional. Detailed explanation of findings which is a big deal to me. First impressions are everything. Only one small issue. I was told the tech notes would take 45 minutes to 1 hour to complete. I showed up 2.5 hours later and they were still entering notes. Minor thing I know but expect things to happen as they are offered to me. Especially visiting for the first time.Update:I took it here for diagnostics since truck had no power after replacing 2 bad injectors. Since they have the knowledge and the scanning tools. They discovered a rag wound up in the turbo fan blocking air flow. Was told turbo was damaged and needed replaced. I decided to wait for now as replacing it would cost $2,000. Talked with mechanic friends and was advised to remove the rag and see if anything is damaged for myself. I did so and there is no damage at all. Whats frustrating is they did not remove the rag so they could visually inspect completely. I removed it very easily. Theres no way they could do a proper inspection since rag was in the way. Seems like a no brainer to remove rag, thoroughly inspect, and advise accordingly. I feel like they saw the rag and used that to try and get $2k out of me for something not needed. Truck now runs great. Seems I found another shop I cant trust.

I took my 2012 Ford F-350 in to Heritage because of an engine light staying on on my dash. Heritage quickly found the issue which was a bad sensor and quickly resolved the problem. I had my truck back within just a few short hours and I’ve had no more issues since then. I really appreciated Brad’s sincerity which was immediately obvious to me. And I also appreciated the general inspection results that was sent to me at my email address and how easily it was to read and understand. I was also sent a digital copy of their work order which I can keep on file for future reference, should I need to read it at some future time.Heritage backs their work with a 3 year warranty and 36000 miles for parts and labor!Even though my after market insurance policy would not pay for the parts and labor for this visit, I was still happy with my cost and the quality of their work. I do almost all my own repairs on my cars. I came across an issue that I couldn’t resolve, trying to break a bolt loose on a crankshaft pulley. The guys were VERY understanding and knowledgeable, not to mention professional. Had me in and out in a few hours and I was able to finish my repair.

I moved further away from them so have tried other mechanics that were closer to my home, but I always keep coming back because of their ability to get the job done right the first time and their amazing customer service. Very happy and will be customers for life.Another thing that is amazing is all free oil changes they do for the valley, single parents, vets and I believe foster parents! Its awesome!Update: I broke down on the side of the road with an oil light flashing. Tony came with in 10min and brought me new oil and took me back to the shop. It was a full day but they still found a spot for my car. This place is amazing!

Very nice...Absolutely great place to get your repair work done. Fixed my tail light in very short time and bill was very readonable.. Only charged me for the bulb.. Would recommend Heritage Auto Repair to anyone for auto repair.

I’ve rated these guys before but I feel that good service should be recognized as you continue to receive it. We take both our vehicles here for maintenance and fixes. When we took our car in for a routine oil change, Heritage mechanics found a man-created issue from a previous servicer. Instead of just giving me a quote to get it fixed, they reached out to the responsible dealer to try and resolve the issue on my behalf. I have never experienced such service where a company went so far beyond their duties to take care of a customer. The issue was eventually addressed and they were the reason it went so smoothly. I can’t thank the staff here enough for all their help.

Interacting with businesses can be stressful, but these folks are always nice and pleasant to work with. Theyve helped me with problem solving and offer me options without being pushy. So, a good place and I recommend them.
