I think those guys are very enthusiastic of what they do compared with Hurless Bros. They resolved and find also little things they need attention in my car and make a big difference at the end. They have outstanding service and fare prices.

If you live in the treasure Valley and own a Mercedes Benz, German Star is the ONLY place you should take it! I have driven MB for over twenty years and have had as many mechanics. Without a doubt the best mechanics I have ever encounter... I’m on a road trip and have a Sprinter Van that has been to quite a few shops in the pst 2 months. These guys were the mechanic equivalent of a first class flight. They took care of all of our problems and even when we couldn’t figure out the issue they didn’t give up and worked nonstop on my vehicle. I owe my sanity to Ken and Nick. I had my Torque converter on my Sprinter van start to rumble last summer. Went in for quick analysis they diagnosed problem gave great advice. Offered an affordable option for the repair got it done the next week without any issues. Still running strong! Today I went in for another noise diagnosis and more great advice. Checked my Vans computer and reset faults. No charge for the diagnosis and Fault reset. I scheduled the recommended Service. Its nice to have some good old fashioned free service and advice. They really earned my trust and business.

Ive generally had good experience with my car repairs here. My first impression was that the team is honest and work hard to do the right thing for their clients. Ive had my BMW 535 and Benz 320 both worked on here and saved tons over what the dealership quoted.

They provide excellent service, and they are HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. They are very knowledgeable and they have good prices as well.I feel very fortunate for knowing them, and now I have a no worries about my car braking down.Definitely I will recommend them.

If you have a Mercedes you know how hard it can be to find someone qualified to take care of your Mercedes. The own and staff are awesome to work with and very knowledge and skilled at their craft. Before you take your Mercedes to the dealer or to another shop I would highly recommend going and seeing Ken at German Star. Its a hidden gem behind Scentsy off Egale rd and Pine. I would recommend making it your first call if you need something taken care of on your Mercedes.

After one of the worst experiences at Boises only Mercedes Benz dealership, Ken and Nick diagnosed my Mercedes Benz CL 6.3 AMG within hours. They had a loaner vehicle available for me when my car was both diagnosed and repaired. They were professional, courteous and most of all honest. Honesty is so rare to fine when servicing and repairing your car. Finally, a Mercedes mechanic who demonstrates true care for doing it right! Ken truly took the time to diagnose a very difficult fuel issue with my S420. Ken had the methodical patience over the course of several days to find the elusive root cause, and he did this without just throwing expensive unnecessary parts at the car. The result is that the car starts and runs better than ever! Through the course of several other service opportunities with Ken, I know I can fully trust him to service my car. In my opinion, Ken is a top professional Mercedes mechanic. He tells you the truth and treats you as a valued customer.

I have gone to every Mercedes Mechanic in the Boise area and am very pleased with GSA. When I have called with a problem I could take the car in that same day, and when I get the car back it is in the same condition I left it in. For some reason at other shops I have to clean off grease or oil from the steering wheel, door handle and the carpet.Also, when I take my car in to get fixed I am nervous to hear what the total cost will be. I have been pleasantly surprised with the total cost when its time to pick up the car.The fact that there is a loaner car is a huge bonus and the cars are equal in quality. Much appreciated!

My Audi A6 developed a leak in the clutch slave cylinder line. The repair part was unavailable, so a real repair was needed, not a simple part replacement. GSA performed a quality repair on the same day. Excellent and friendly service at a fair price.I perform most of my own auto repair work and have operated my own shop. I was in Meridian on a business trip and did not have the ability to perform the repair myself. Thanks GSA!

Ken stands by the work that comes out of his shop and has proven that to me a few times now.When I bought a Mercedes that he had rebuilt from him in December, 2014 he guaranteed that there were no mechanical problems with the car. On a couple occasions some problems arose that he could not have foreseen, and he fixed them out of his own pocket.This is definitely a shop you can trust to do good work and not to take advantage of you. Not to mention they undercut the rates of the local dealer while providing excellent quality service.Anyone with a German car should give German Star a shot.

My 2008 BMW 650i had all kinds of issues, most of which came from a Mobile Mechanic that didnt have a firm grasp of how to work on one, finding this out after he completed work left it Bastardized.I had to bring it to German Star on the back of a wrecker it was a mess,They restored this back to better shape then it was in before it was initially jacked.I am thankfull, they did a stellar job, and stand behind their work. for everything they did the cost wasnt bad it was way better than the Steelership would have charged.A lesson learned for me, im not taking my car anyplace else but here.

So my little red C230...which ive named Brenda....because ive never met a nice Brenda....always seemed to have problems and the only cure was regular injections of cash under the hood to keep her happy...maybe i should have named her the ex hmm? Anyway, she was kind of on her last leg and i heard about these guys at German Star who actually knew what they were doing...weird. So i made an appointment thinking that with all the recalls and issues that Brenda was surely done for. To my suprise i recieved a comprehensive list of needed repairs and issues that they prioritized with me based on safety and functionality since i didnt have all 3k on hand at the time(im one of those weird people that owns a benz and actially works for a living..sue me). Anyhoo, Brenda came out of the shop running like a top, and in like new condition a few weeks later. These guys are great to work with, wont wreck your wallet, and truely know what theyre doing. Theyve got my business!

I had 7 MBZs over many years, had service in different states end many mechanics, but Ken at German Star is by far the best.

These guys are awesome! I have been to several mechanics in the area and none of them have the same prices or quality that GSA offers. I would recommend anyone with a European car to give them a shot! They also have loaner cars or chauffer services to pick you up when your cars done.

I recently had some idle issues with my BMW. I was referred to German Star and they fixed the problem and my car runs great now. In addition even gave me a loaner car overnight when they sent German Star the wrong part. Very professional place and honest!
