Stop n shop was stop n shop.Its close and convenient not too far from my house. You get accustomed to the store being one way, you know where everything is.Then you go back and cant find nothing, simple because they once again have changed everything around. AGGGY

Very clean and friendly staff. Best place for my local travel to the grocery store and quick convenience. Marty the robot is a little bit of a quirk but it’s fun watching him scan the floors for spills!

This past summer, 6/7/21 bad rain storm developed suddenly. I was in my Subrau outback. You couldnt see jack out side due to the mega deluge of rain. Shopping cart hit the passenger side door and put a good dent in my door. Took several weeks before an insurance company contacted me out of Georgia. Never got back to me. Managers at cromwell couldnt even help me to follow through on the insurance claim. They wont get back to honor claim. Going to have to take them to small claims court. Heres the proof in this coorespondence. I get it. There are people who take advantage. This really happen to my car as two stop & Shop employees witnessed this as they were outside under the canopy at the time of the incident. The managers were very rude to me as I knocked on their door as you walk up the stairs. 1st door on the left. Scum bags

My wife and I had to return a tin foil pan, and the cashier said I couldn’t return it. But then another employee overheard our conversation and said they would help us return it. Thankful for people going above and beyond.

I usually have a pleasant experience at this store however tonight it’s evident that the staff was tired and didn’t care to go the extra mile. At 9:40 p.m. I was told the customer service desk is closed and I should come back at 8am tomorrow and the customer service manager was very much present. Don’t plan on coming back here will continue shopping elsewhere. What’s the point of the desk closing before closing time. Some staff there are lazy.

The two females at the deli this morning were so helpful and chipper. They got my order so fast i was barley in the deli line for a minute before my order was done! So glad to see the customer service is getting better at this store. The store has come a long way since the remodel keep up the good work.

I went to stop and shop a couple days a ago to buy Turkey for a family picnic and a nice man in the deli section with the glasses and tattoo was really kind and helpful! You guys need more worker like him who knows how to treat and communicate with people, I would definitely recommend this store ! :)

I usually have a very good experience at this store, but today was quite different. I was hoping to purchase The Breyers Carb Smart ice cream on sale this week. All of the cartons that were in the case had chocolate ice cream oozing out of the cartons. I brought two to my cashier to see if I could get some assistance to see if there were any others that did not have ice cream oozing out of it. It apparently melted, refroze andp seeped out of the cover. Those cartons should have never been put in that freezer case in the first place because someone could have gotten sick and was very unsanitary. I couldn’t get anyone to help me and the cashier refused to get me help. She just kept telling me that she’s only a cashier and doesn’t do payroll or anything else. And blamed the truck drivers. All I wanted was for someone to say that they would check to see if some acceptable cartons were in the store and to acknowledge that the cartons were disgusting. Finally I did get someone to call the department and the answer was that they didn’t have any and to come back tonight because they get them in at night. The cashier proceeded to tell me that if I had nothing to do to go to the Wallingford store. I don’t think I’ll be shopping there again.

Always fresh vegetables and fruits. The store is perfectly organized and there are always workers to ask for help. The prices are higher than most other grocery stores but, you will get quality products. Store has handicap parking and is in a good location.

Produce rotted in two days. Pre-packed meat. Understaffed. No one cleaning surfaces in the self checkout lanes. A pit. Plus, they only accept two coupons on any product now.

Sometimes they have good sales and sometimes not but i live near by so its cool. I get gas points so its helps with gas being so expensive.

I Really am impressed with the remodel it’s literally a lot more efficient. The produce section is amazing it’s my favorite Stop and Shop now. I used to go to the Wallingford S&S but this one is actually a lot better. I’ll say the Wallingford remodel isn’t as impressive as this one. That being said the fish department is hit or miss. There’s a Latino kid working it sometimes and I cringe every time he’s here because the fish is always rancid smelling when I get home to wash it. It smells like farts it’s disappointing because when the lady works it the quality is much better. I’m pretty sure he doesn’t put fresh fish out there he’s a nice kid and all, but yeah it doesn’t look fresh. So if you can make the fish department better then this stores would be flawless. Also Glenn Williams is a good manager here as well the operation is smooth.

Wow... Dont even know where to start... Overall good place... I jus dont like the fact that I get followed around the store like Im doing something wrong...I spend alot of money at this location... And its very uncomfortable that I have to be followed and harassed by a employee I dont even know or met in my life... Follows me around store and even stands next to me when Im checking out..kinda of embarrassing if u ask me.. If it happens again.. I will video tape and I will get management and whoever else I need to involve so my shopping can be more comfortable...but lets hope it doesnt get to that point...

This super Stop & Shop is convenient and well stocked . The staff are great and the carriages are disinfected regularly. Staci, the head of cashier check out is the most awesome person ! Huge help on self check out area !

The store was clean which is necessary during covid. However there were not many registers open at a very busy time and not everyone is comfortable with self-checkout. Many people were not following the distancing practices.

It was good to see a couple of friendly workers faces from the OLD stop and shop on the west side, I normally Dont go to the one on the east side, its not very convenient for me...

I used to come here for a few years but because of change of our health insurance, I had to switch pharmacy. The staff here is very knowledgeable, very helpful and considerate. Few times when my copay was high, they were able to help me find a way to cut it down. Something about community insurance. This is the only pharmacy that did it for us, so far. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have know that. I was sad and anxious about switching pharmacies. Keep up your excellent customer service and God bless you all.

I just moved into the neighborhood, and it was a great experience for my first day.

Stop & Shop in Meriden had basically what I needed to get. The store is not as big as the one in North Haven. However, it does have quite a variety of food options.

Closest grocery store to my house. Its a thing of convenience. Sometimes customer service is hit or miss

Busy time of day (just after work), but only 2 checkout lanes open.

Over all good shopping experience, but I do find that there are a lot of items I can’t find or get here that I can normally get at other Stop & Shop locations. Also, I wish they had a nicer bathroom, and up in the front of the store.

Ever since the closing of S&S on west main street I find this store is crowded majority of the time. I most time I waited to check out was between 7-10 mins with about 2 registers open and self check out being packed.

I love the East Main Street Stop & Shop! Its so easy to get in and out quickly 😊 Today I went in there for some Werthers Sugar free Caramel Coffee hard candies and root beer barrels... I found them in no time, and I bought a variety pack of hard candies - all for $5.31!! Thanks Stop & Shop for always having what I need and want. I was there a total of 11minutes from the time I drove into the parking lot and shopped and got back in my truck

Kelly is the manager in the floral department. I have ordered bouquets from her for years for my daughter’s recitals. Her attention to detail and artistic skill is lovely. Her bouquets last for a full week! Always prepared, selecting quality fresh flowers. I recently had a beautiful bouquet done for a graduation and they were enjoyed immensely. Kelly’s customer service goes above and beyond to accommodate when needing special flowers in a rush. Tell her what you like and she will create it perfectly. I recommend Kelly for all your flower needs!!

Best stop n shop around my area..always has excellent produce,mostly all emplyees r friendly and helpful. Love the fresh deli meats and the ones already made 4 people who dont have time 2 wait... Very good prices on meats. Good wit everything. Cant complain at all

Had to keep trying my card. It was ridiculous, hope it didnt double charge me. Other than that, it was all good in there. They do have some awesome employees in there.

Good place only one meriden

I just moved to Meriden CT so it was my first time here but it was very clean and lines were very efficiently run . I will shop there.

Meriden Stop & Shop is going thru a remodeling therefore its confusing as to where everything has been relocate. Hopefully when the remodeling is complete its better store to buy groceries.

They are getting ready for their grand reopening.

Please carry a larger selection of Bang! Energy drinks.

Love my stop and shop one stop store they mostly everything five stars for good customer service skills and being friendly a worker once laughed because I read a sign wrong and and said yes I have been getting that all day..little pricey but worth it.and I always get good coupons pertaining to my purchase that I buy...five stars. Produce 98% good. just once grapes were a litle sour but thats the season.

Things have changed with the quality of the produce, raw products quality is not so great. The prices raised and quality down not so wonderful when get home with less and that food isnt so great looking. Why did this happen after employees management position shouldnt have rolled down hill. Other stores seem the place to to. The shoppers shouldnt have to be sadden with stop and shop disagreements.

Need more cashiers! Nobody likes self checkout!😒 The car quality of the store and their fresh produce is always excellent. However as one of many regular customers, I can speak for all of us when I say WE WANT LIVE CASHIERS!

Usually plenty of products in lots of variety. Pleasant and helpful staff. One of my favorite grocery stores.

Clean, good variety and freshness of produce, good meat and dairy departments. Not five stars because it is a bit overpriced overall. Good store that I frequent regardless. I wish I could get through the doors without being hit up for money nearly every Sunday.

I come here often and there are always enough carriages to begin with there are some super markets that seem to never have enough carriages or they are always in the parking lot. The aisles are clear which is a plus when strolling with a carriage. The produce section is also stocked with fresh fruits and vegetables that make it a pleasure to get them and eat them on the regular.

Shopping at this shop is a project.Not enough cashiers.Management didnt know how to open registers.to check a price.Management has to call the frozen department to check a price.Which took for ever.

Not my favorite local grocery store by far. Never can find an employee when you need one, high prices and not the best when it comes to variety. After the strike earlier this year really seems to have gone downhill in the service area.

I went Into this store and they have some sort of funnel system so EVERYONE has to file thru the same isle to get to a register. So now I bow have to go thru extra time being in a highly infectious place I now have to walk thru the same space as someone who has the virus. By far the DUMBEST IDEA ever to do this
