I absolutely love their biscuits! Only the good part. None of that useless middle fluff!!
Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The biscuits were pretty tasty with a variety of choices for fillings, but I thought they were a little flatter than I am used to. I had sausage and cheese on my biscuit and the sausage had a really good flavor. The service was quick, even with a line at the outside window.
Love the breakfast omlets and the flat biscuits. They are sooo delicious, buttery and salty.Walk in and get in line. Order at the counter and pay. Then find a table to sit down. Theyll bring your food to you.This place is full of friendly locals who all seem to know someone.
As a previous Landmark customer (before the move), I was very disappointed in the biscuits. They are flat (almost cracker flat & crispy, like the insides were scooped out). The foods flavor was pretty good, though. Ive never dined in, so I dont know how the ordering & seating went. It was very confusing, as we had to order & pay first, then find a seat. I guess that was fine, just not what Im used to.
Those are best place to get a very good breakfast. Gotta love those people

Best breakfast in town. Only place you will find red eye gravy worth ordering. Very affordable too. New location is still not big enough. Service seems even faster tho if that is possible. I enjoy watching the art of cooking here!
Love the new location! Great beer selection. The pizza is our favorite, but salads and sandwiches are also good and the food always comes out fast. Great spot for lunch or a date night.
Who whee this is the best breakfast restaurant for miles and miles and miles. The staff is so friendly they make you feel like family. The food is cooked to order and oh my goodness it is good. The prices are on point and you get quality in quantity and its not going to break the bank to go out to eat. They have multiple choices of what you can get for breakfast oh my goodness I wish I was there now. Keep up the good work folks
If you haven’t had a Landmark biscuit are you really even living? Ham is my favorite but you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! The ladies there are also top notch!

Love the food but I hate the customer service. The woman who took my order was very rude to me. I’ve been coming here for years and I’ve noticed that they treat the regulars better than their new customers. They make sure that their regulars have somewhere to sit, rather than the new customers. I got my food after waiting 10 minutes for a BLT and home fries and they didn’t give me the home fries so I had to wait a couple more minutes. I probably won’t be back for a while...generally don’t like being treated with a side of rudeness.
Food is very good and fresh, the biscuits are light and delicious, I get stuff everytime. Highly recommended!
I came here for the first time today, but was greeted quickly by employees and guests as if I was a regular. The food was inexpensive, fresh, delicious and served incredibly quickly. Their menu is simple, so you can easily satisfy all your cravings and leave with a full stomach! Definitely will return!
First time here this morning and the food was excellent! Very inexpensive and the owner and the employees were very friendly and welcoming when you came in the door! Will be coming back again soon! Get their homemade biscuits 😊
In a hurry... Stop by and be amazed by how fast you were served. I have seen the line out the door and been at the end of the line... I was only there for 10 minutes before I made it to the register... Then 3 to 5 minutes later had my order and was on my way... I cant think of anything I would not recommend to you to try... Seriously good food and service... Great tea!
A few things you need to know before visiting. 1. When you walk in, you order first then find a table. 2. You have a 99.9% chance of being called baby, sweetheart, or someone asking you your name. If you’re not from the south, it may catch you off guard. This place is southern hospitality to the T. 3. Great food, great service, great prices! If the line is out the door, don’t worry, they move fast!!
Love coming to this place. I go less now that they have a new location, but the food is always great, the staff is friendly, and even when you have to wait in line it wont be for very long. You should make this your breakfast spot in Sanford.

A little shoppe from another time and the best breakfast in Sanford if your too far away from your home kitchen or simply want breakfast that wont ruin your budget.I found this little gem by chance passing through one early morning and it smelled like the kitchen of my childhood home the moment I stepped in.The staff and the regulars seem to be a fine bunch as long as your respectful and social,an interesting and welcoming quirk that I dont find in many restaurants anymore. You have to be bold also,so be sure you order first,then sit down as it would help keep the small kitchen running smoothly in a just as small sized restaurant.The food quality is absolutely great for the prices offered in which both put all the fast food places in the area to shame.Sometimes the best things in life comes in small packages.

I went here for breakfast this morning and it was awful. The biscuits were like hockey pucks, my eggs had slimy uncooked whites, and the service was absolutely abysmal. Im pretty sure the waitress was either drunk or high. Never going here again.
I love the food from this place but the waiters are nasty and rude. The young lady got my order wrong and the had an attitude with me. I told her dont worry about it, took the food and threw it in the trash. Im spending my money, you made the mistake, and have the nerve to be rude. Never again will I dine here!!!!

The food is good! Its just that between the crowd of people,the small building,mini bathroom man/woman,and plastic utensils to eat with it you would think its only been opened a few months! Its been here for years! This is why I cant give this restaurant five-stars.
I always get the tenderloin, egg and cheese on toast with strawberry jelly. It is very tasty! Sweet tea is the best in town also!

The food and the service is amazing. Just be aware of the girl that works the register with the tattoos all over her arms. She is mean, hateful and rude. Apparently there is an unspoken seating rule there that only a few know about. Maybe if there was a wait to be seated sign this bitter girl wouldnt have to be so rude to people when they sit at an empty table.

2019 New location Horner Blvd next to Cafe Vesuvio is much nicer.Think even the food tastes a little better. Still had the home cooked local type flavor and appeal. Its much easier parking and roomier. definately a better location.Been a while back, for breakfast. The crowd was older/ grandparent type people. The settings were old. Some people like mastalgia stuff but its not my thing. I know its supposed to be historical but it just felt dated. The food wasnt bed but I wouldnt call it good either. They always have a nice crowd of old timers for breakfast. Best to go and judge for yourself. The service was fast considering there were other customers. Many people love it. Im just not one of them.

We checked this place out because it came highly recommended. It did not disappoint! I had a great pork tenderloin biscuit and my wife had an awesome omelet.

Favorite breakfast spot! (This was written in 2018)I felt that I needed to come back and write a more recent review. Since Landmark’s recent move, I usually just order pickup and grab it at the window because the inside is usually packed on the weekend. Today some of my family decided they wanted to eat inside (2/27/20) and since I had some free time I agreed.Let me say this, the quality of the food has not changed and the servers do an awesome job making sure that everyone is serviced in a timely manner. They are friendly and never seem to be bothered by folks hollering at them as they walk by to help other customers and that alone should be commended however, the atmosphere has definitely changed. There has always been a table located in the front of the restaurant where a bunch of “gentlemen”, for the purpose of this post, sit. They’ve occupied this table at the previous location so I’m sure it’s only right that they carry on their tradition at the new location. They sit, talk loudly, and watch “particular“ customers as they enter the restaurant. At the old location they seemed more contained but at this new location today they made us feel unwanted, walked across me without saying excuse me, and basically stared a hole in us as we ate. One even hollered a political “joke” to another customer across the restaurant and started laughing loudly and nodding his head towards us. Now because I use to patronize this restaurant at least 3 times a week before the move I know that they are the owner’s “buddies” so perhaps that’s why he couldn’t see that they were being a nuisance to other customers. Even some of the ladies across from us shook their heads in disbelief. So I’m just forewarning others because it’s the same “gang” of men that have always occupied the table so they can be prepared. Needless to say I will not be eating IN there ever again. I’m pretty sure if I go in there hollering across the room and being disruptive and rude I’ll be asked to leave immediately. But hey, these are the times we live in. Sorry “gentlemen” we can eat at the counter now.

This place has been around since I was a little kid and has the best breakfast in town. Number 1 in Sanford nobody can compare to it . Very reasonable on price and always packed with customers the whole time its open.
