The staff is always helpful and willing to walk me right to the item Im looking for.

I only go here for sale items, or specialty groceries. When I look at the everyday prices, Im glad I do most of my shopping elsewhere.Still selection is good and people are nice.The fried chicken in the deli IS a bargain.

Reliable shopping 4/5. Occasionally I cannot find hard to find items here. Staples are always available with great discounts. Even better if you have the SaveMart app!

Dreary atmosphere. Customer service pretty horrible. Deli rude to customers. 2 employees complaining about not wanting to work in front of busy section. I mean I know can be rough but whole store like this. I greeted checker no response. I always go to Atwater store but stopped here today. Big mistake.

I went to the store today. The atmosphere of the store is not friendly. I bought some ice cream with price marked some discount, but they charged me the original price. After I pointed out the price with Manager, I finally got my money back. During the buy, check, refund process, both customer service and manager looks patientless. They didnt waive some charge(Safeway will waive some charge in this case) for me, neither say sorry. I insisted to ask why that happen, the manager said sorry in the end unwillingly. I will never go this store again!

You can easily find everything of good quality. Reasonable price and high diversity

Their prices are much higher than most. They advertised tri-tips, buy one, get one free, but they want more than $25.00 for an untrimmed, small pieces of meat. They advertised corn on the cob, 4 for .99. When I went to buy some, the sign said2 for $1.00. A waisted trip.

I love that they always have a wonderful selection of fruits and vegetables, quality meats and a great selection of craft beers and wines

This is the third time I have been into the savemart in Merced on Olive ave. The cashier had her mask on incorrectly, mask under her nose, no smile or greeting when I came to check out with my groceries, as I said good morning. Makes me want to travel to Atwater Savemart, where I am greeted with a smile in a positive atmosphere.

Store is always clean Produce& vegetables are organized nicely. STAFF are friendly & knowledgeable about the products Whats on sale, clearance things like that🤔 😕

Our go yo grocery place when in the valley. We all know each others names, miss the staff when they retire, and mourn those who leave.

The place to go when you want fresh. Cooked ribs cooked steak chicken wings and gizzards. Lunch never looked so good!! Helpful staff always kind and friendly.

Save Mart will grill your food for you, tell them what time you’d like to pick it up (by 5 pm) and it’s ready. The guys manning the grill are off the hook cool..

Bought an item from there yesterday & it was exired Aug 4th 2021. Very disappointing. This is not the first time ive gotten expired food from here!

I went in for some wine roughly around 6:30 p.m. I was able to find parking right away after I arrived. The store was busy but not crowded. Employees and customers were wearing face masks due to covid 19. Being that today is Easter Sunday everyone I encountered seem to be in a pleasant mood. I didnt have to wait at all for a register. There were plenty open when I was ready to purchase my items. The store was clean. I didnt obverse any spills or mess. The one thing that caught my attention right away was a few carts had trash in them. It didnt appear to me as if anyone was sanitizing them after each customer use. I hesitate to grab a cart. The shelves were full. With the exception of a few clearance items. That is to be expected tho considering it was on clearance. Overall I had a good experience. I give this store a thumbs up. Just keep in mind to carry hand sanitizing wipes dont want to catch the virus

This save mart always has it handled nicely. From fresh produce, neat upkeep and helful/friendly staff. Best part about them through this hard time is, they never stopped sanitizing their shopping carts since they started unlike other grocery stores.

Savemart is always a good place. I love their fresh food, and subs! It was super busy today and our clerk Vee helped us so wonderfully. She was working very hard. During such busy and crazy lunch, she smiled and breathed through it all. Thats a good worker.

Friendly staff. Lines are typically long. They keep remodeling so you cant get used to the locations of food items.

This store is very neat and clean. There bakery department is awesome. The customer service is great. And you should definitely try there hot foods like ribs, tri tip, rotisserie chicken etc . Keep up the great work Savemart.

Had to wait on the girl in the deli to get off her phone,at checkout I had to bag my own groceries even though there were 6 baggers just standing around.Used to be great service there,but coustomer service has went down hill.

Some great prices and some pricey items. Not very consistent. The fruit was ok bananas went bad in a few days.

Love Save Mart, have shopped at different stores for years. Certain shelves were still bare from all the pandemic buying which is odd to me because most stores are doing better but all in all was a good shopping experience. My reason for 3 stars was the cashier, Rachel. Usually they are so nice and cheerful, making you feel good to have given them your business but didnt get that yesterday. She barely said a word . Very disappointing.

I dont know why...but this store and its employees always make me feel uncomfortable. Like im stealing or something. Its wierd. The dudes in the meat department are super laid back and personable however.

My family and I love Savemart stores. Everyone is friendly. The store is immaculate!!

Ordered from door dash. A Turkey Sandwich on Bolillla bread and Potato Wedges.Both were truly delicious.(Ordered a Sandwich again, extremely delicious and fresh, this time with mashed potatoes and creamy chicken gravy. So Good.

I have never bumbed into any rude clerks at a Savemart until today. This guy with a Raider jersey needs to treat people with respect. One side of the entrance was closed im assuming but someone opened it and it had a sign saying closed. Well since the doors were open I still exited. The guy said the sign says closed cant you read it. I was blown away. So rude of him.

The store is open, face mask a must. The Shelfs are stocked and the meat department has some amazing food cooked just for you. Stop in and get your already cooked diner or lunch.

After the remodel this is one of my go to for groceries. Sign up on the website for discounts and coupons. Great sales every week many opportunities to stock up on food. Produce can be hit or miss at times. Meat is good selection is about average. They have a good deli section. Dont get sushi it is awful hard dry rice no flavor. Bakery is also pretty good. All in all a good basic grocery store.

Great place to shop. Had not been there in a while but place was recently renovated. One improvement was the seafood display case which now has a serving counter now. Store has been spruced up and items very noticeable. Loved it.

Smaller supermarket than Rayleys, but surprisingly diverse array of products. I was told by a coffee shop owner to look here for almond milk, and with luck I might find some. To my biggest surprise, there was more variety than at my Whole Foods store in Los Angeles. In fact, I ended up buying the walnut milk because I had never seen it before, and was curious. Its yummy!

I dont particularly love the place, or the location. Never been a big fan of savemarts in general, they seemed a bit overpriced in my opinion. This one though, does seems to have deals most of the time and the staff seems nice and helpful.

Usually great customer service, average to high pricing unless it is on sale. Problem is why always have to wait and check all the time.

I can’t believe all the positive reviews I am seeing! I asked one of the managers whom has been there for over 20 years how he liked his job and he said he “hated it”. His attitude reflected that and as I was leaving I discovered I had lost my car keys in the store. He started laughing and so did other workers. He asked someone to help me look and after 5 minutes a worker finally said “ho this is the one?” I was crying by then and called my husband who had an extra car key. I hate this store and it is sad as I have lived on and off in Merced for 30 years.

Everything I bought was at the least a dollar more then Food Max.

Somany flys on fruits and vegetables, I will never buy fruits from savemart for a long time!

Store help is friendly, place is clean plus their specials are good ones.
