There’s a few things that like about Grocery Outlet and it’s mostly their prices. However, today while shopping I heard, we are locally owned and operated. That made me smile.What really made me smile even more was the customer service I received from Franny today.She was pleasant and gave a short sales pitch for the food bank. I should have asked more questions but I wanted to be sure what she was “selling” I could use.My prayer is that when selling something we always offer FULL transparency.This was the turn around…Franny could tell I wasn’t a “happy customer” in that moment and she kindly offered me a refund.I was so surprised!!!But this is the customer service we should all strive to shadow.Thank you, Franny for not getting upset with me.And thank grocery outlet for the sale on eggs!

They have great groceries in stock that are affordable. My favorite is the Farmer John marinated pork tenderloin, so much bang for your buck!

Im single and dont cook big meals just for myself and they have A large selection of already prepared food at A reasonable price.I also like A lot of the items they put on sale. Very pleasant people to deal with.

We all know that grocery shopping can be stressful at times. With the cost of living going up, and the essentials doing the same, it is always a joy to find great deals. One day, I randomly walked into Grocery Outlet to grab a beverage, and I ended up grabbing a cart. Not only did I leave with a beverage, but I spent about $40, and had many grocery items. Of the grocery items, I purchased, many were specialty foods that would have cost me close to $100 anywhere else. I like to eat healthy, and I prefer organic food items. I believe many others agree with me, but it is often too expensive if you dont know how to shop, or where to shop. I highly recommend this store, and others for gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, and organic foods. You will also find some interesting brands that you never knew existed. The Merced, CA location is clean, fully stocked, and the staff are extremely helpful. I highly recommend this grocery chain.

Love this store. It is the cleanest, nicest, nd the biggest grocery outlet ive ever been to. Staff is incredbly friendly nd helpful. You can find some interesting items, including things u would find at stores like trader joes nd decent cost.

Love this place! Ive shopped here from the very first day they opened 35 sum yrs ago.

This used to be my go-to store, this is a store for people that dont have too much to spend on food but the reality is everywhere is getting expensive nowadays I walked in today and seen a bottle of Tabasco for five bucks, for 40 bucks I walked out with two small little bags most of the time the food has an expiration date of the next day or two so now there charging top prices for expired food in the near future $300 well get you maybe five small bags. The governments making it hard for us low income people theres no winning...smh

Always great deals and discounts on produce and dairy. we love their bread selection as well. lots of good frozens. everything is basically $2.99-$4.99. they only have 4 registers and only 2 or 3 are open but you cant beat these prices. so it is definitely worth the wait! 👌

Great place for good prices. They have items at times Ive never seen anywhere else. Ive found discontinued items that companies no longer want to carry but it gives us the chance to pick some up before they are completely gone. Sometimes its items that have been overstocked by other stores. Grocery Outlet buys them cheaper, in bulk, to help the other stores that might not be able to sell before they expire. I find brands from stores on the other side of the country that would never sold here otherwise. The variety is great and the prices are even better. Just like any other store if you get something that has gone bad or you dont like you can return it as long as you have your receipt. Back in the beginning when everyone called it the canned food store some people said they didnt want to buy just bent cans. If thats your reason for not shopping there give it another try because this is just not just for low income shoppers anymore, as I have heard some say. They even have fresh meats, lots of produce and milk now, so you dont even have to stop at another store. I like the frozen food section, especially when they have the large bags of chicken. Sometimes you will find clothing items and you cant beat it for the gifts youll find. Everyone likes to save money and and look for treasures that they may not have seen since they moved 3,000 miles away from their favorite store. There isnt enough room to tell you all the things they carry. Just go see for yourself. The biggest thing you will find is more money available in your wallet.

Wonderful place to start your shopping. Then whatever you cant find there, then go to the regular store. Saves me soooo much money.

Gas station pizza place rite -aid all close by handicap parking and restroom available.Put you name and phone # on the back of your receipt for a chance to win the amount of savings in your transaction.sometimes it is like a $200 dollar savings.Place receipt in the clear box hanging on the wall next to entrance/exit .Sanitizer is available for you and cart wipes

Grocery Outlet..... Wow have you changed? Yes . Went to pick up a few things I was needing. As l walked through the store what I found was nothing short of amazing.They offer so much more then before, the employees all seem to be more then able to assist there customers thay are willing and wanting to make sure your shopping experience is joyful and compleat. The store was very well organized, clean, and maintained.Easy in and out parking.Grocery Outlet can and does compete with the other brand name stores.

First time back here in several years. There is obviously a new owner/manager there becouse thus store is alot cleaner and organized then it was in the past. They have a great variety of items you dont see anywhere else and their prices are pretty good.

Decent sized grocery store that appears to be well maintained with clean floors and organized shelves. Employees are there to provide assistance assistance without any hesitation. The check out process was smooth without much wait as many registers were open.

Awesome place to go for a bit of everything. They have great prices on what they have and some stuff you cant find anywhere else. Employees are nice and pleasant. We enjoy going grocery shopping and then coming here to find treasures aka things that they may have for a limited time that you literally cant find anywhere else. Some high quality stuff as well

I like the brown jumbo eggs they have and I rely on them to have a good selection of avocados and at prices that beat their competitors. I shop there first, and get the rest from others stores.

I ran in to pick up a few items. I ended up with a lot of bargains as well! I was very impressed with the employees. They all greeted me as I was walking around the store, helped me put a 50 lb. bag of Pedigree into my cart and took my groceries to my car to unload the cart for me (I did not ask them to help, but was very appreciative when the man did assist me with out being asked, and with no hesitation). Getting old may not always be pleasant, but experiences such as todays make older age so much easier. !!

It has good stuff on stock most of the food I would buy anywhere else but for cheaper I bought a few things and Im excited to use them grocery outlet is a good place to go and you live in a town where the grocery store overcharges you

I use to shop here alot,great bargains but you will get your feelings hurt if you want something specific as it relates to brand name. They wont always consistently have items you think would be st any grocery store. I love there produce section, knick knacks and health section

Very Good produce and beverages selection. Great prices along with some close out items priced for clearance. However, it is advisable to sometimes check the expiration dates. For the pandemic, Grocery Outlet gives out heavy duty paper bags that are better than the thin plastic bags from the other local groceries.

The owner harassed a fruit vendor and damaged his property. I will not give not one cent to this type of establishment who is being lead by this mans hate.

You can buy organic foods here. Look for gourmet cheese while youre there. Most Imported cheeses dont have preservatives, I need the labels. These items are usually pricey at a regular store.

The updated grocery outlet is a winner. Good customer service and love the ice cream verity is awesome.

They do have some pretty good deals, but you need to be extremely careful when shopping there. Although they wont admit it and say its unintentional, they deliberately leave or place lower prices in front of products hoping you wont notice when checking out. Sometimes, a great deal, it nothing more than a scam to trick you into paying full price for an item.
