I purchased a GMC 1500 Sierra from Ron Smith. Approximately a month and a half later the A/C quit blowing cold... Then the truck flat-lined right as I pulled into my daughters school parking lot. The theft protection had lit up and that was part of the problem.I gave the sales guy a call and he recommended me calling the service department.Asked for Tim and he said if I could get her down there they would take a look.Well, long story short, it was the ground wire coming from the battery to the engine. The mechanic found the problem right away. While they were in there, they checked out the A/C system and found that problem too.Rounding it up in a nut shell - Tim let me know how much it was going to cost to fix and then told me how much Ron would be taking care of. I just recently bought a Chevy cruze on 10/16/21My experience with Ron smith was honestly the best experience I could ever ask for.I was recently approved for a car loan and had 30 days to find a car before my application expired.For my first stop I tried western motors and my time there felt very waisted and like they were trying to talk me into buying a Kia rio that I didnt want. Dont get me wrong it was a nice car but wasnt something I really wanted. It was very good.i dont have a problem with the service on my car.When I bought the car they said my first service was free but didnt say anything about expires in a year. I bought my car Oct 15 20 called to make my first appt on Oct 7 21 but the soonest they could get me in was the 18th. That not my fault. I called in 2 weeks ahead of time. It made me feel like they set it back just to get my money. Im a senior trying to make it on my own. My husband died of cancer and its not easy now.

I made an appt for 8am and got there about 5 min before . Checked in with the advisor. I told him I’d like to wait since I didn’t have a ride. I t only took about an hour to change the oil and filter, rotate the tires, add more window washer fluid and they washed my truck TOO! Wow, what great service!

Went in because A/C didnt work. When I left the A/C worked great. The next day I went to the snow ❄ and found out the heater blower wasnt working, I could hear fan in back passenger area but nothing coming out of the dashboard

I came to Ron Smith after getting the worst service possible from Bonander in Turlock. Tim and Anthony were fantastic. There was no run around. I made an appointment online and there was no fuss. Tim was straight up with me about what needed to be done to my car and it only took a day. There was no bill padding, no trying to get me to buy things I didnt need. Tim even washed the car for me! Anthony was great about keeping me informed about when my parts would be ready. I didnt have to call and nag; he called me frequently to make sure I knew what was happening. I will be coming back to Ron Smith for all of my auto service needs.

Unable to fix my vehicle. Told me to continue to drive it and maybe the check engine light will go off. Not very reassuring after you spend $90,000 on a brand new vehicle that should not have issues.The employees were polite and courteous but left me uneasy about my problem getting resolved.

Made an appointment and my vehicle was serviced on time. My only complaint if you can call it that is the service that is used by the dealership. this being the third party company that call you to schedule a service for you. I think this causes an issue for Darrelle and Tim, as when people that have made appointments come in and find their are 3 ahead of them. Darrelle and Tim work very hard at customer service and I think this puts them in a bad place.

Very happy with service so far. $45 full synthetic oil change with tire rotation, tire inspection, battery inspection and car wash is the best I have found anywhere so far. It is a little hard to get in and out on some days, but to be expected.

Took my 99 Oldsmobil into the merced GMC dealership to check the transmission due to hard shifting. After having it for almost a week i was told it required a new transmission at a cost of$3,750.00 the van blue books for $1,100?I took it home and i pulled the transmission pan, replaced the filter and fluid, cleaned it up and put it back together, the problem has been solved.These are supposed to be professional mechanics but arnt bright enough to check a filter to see if its dirty enough to spike the pressure a bit once in a while and create hard shifting?Of course i was charged for their checking it.Cost me about $70.00 to repair it myself! Less then their cost of the inspection!
