I went in just to get my new tires mounted. They recommended balancing beads so I paid extra for them. Had a long trip planned so I was really excited only to get violent vibration after the tire install. Had a business trip to LA then to Lake Tahoe before coming back to town so I had no option but march thru the 20+ hr drive. After the trip, my bearings gave out and alignment went out from the continued violent vibration As I was fixing all that, I realized they left the previous wheel weights on my wheels which rendered the balancing beads inadequate!Took it too another big-o-tire shop in Corona CA where I got alignment done and they removed the weights and it drives fine now. Over $1000 unnecessary $$ spent just due to lack of knowledge from these guys. Never going back to this location.

Got the coupon for $49 full synthetic oil change. Used that in their store. Initially they don’t tell the final price. After the oil change done, they charged me around $61. I often change my oil in other stores with coupon, however they charge additional 3/4 dollars for tax beyond the coupon price, not such high price beyond the coupon price. They told that those are labor expenditures, etc. Additionally what I found is, they gave me only one page of the receipt (though it was written on that ‘page one of two’) which didn’t mention the final price amount that I paid. And finally, I didn’t get any receipt/note about the courtesy inspection reports (this report is provided by many reputed oil change shops) which came complimentary with the oil change. Also I am not sure if they report their service to CARFAX. For these reasons, I gave the three star.

I had an appointment for an oil change/tire rotation, but on assessment, found out my lack of maintenance with my truck had finally caught up to me. Long story short, Angelo guided me with choosing which things needed immediate attention, and which things could wait for another time. These were hazardous things Jiffy Lube didnt catch or mention upon my last maintenance. Angelo even broke out a map of my truck to explain things to me. He and Josh catered to my convenience with scheduling and payment options. Also, (having recently moved here from LA) it was super nice to have them greet you by name when you walk in the door. Five stars isnt enough for the crew at Big O in Merced!

Went in to have the tire pressure checked...all tires were marking above or way below PSI, I happen to mention I had an appt the next morning to have my oil changed, the tech asked would u like to have the oil changed now? I agreed. Well the oil got changed they told me my car was ready, I paid and drove off. Out if curiosity I tht let me check my tire pressure, lo n behold they didnt even air up my tires... wth man thats originally why I went in...Cmon guys get it together!

I had a great experience BOTH times I came into to get my car fixed. I’ve had problems with my breaks and side mirror. Josh, Hector and Margaret were AMAZING. From the first phone inquiry to picking up my car, the team went above and beyond to help me. They gave me accurate cost estimates for the work I needed done - taking the time to look up my specific make and model of car - and they didnt recommend any services I didnt need. They were very friendly and informative and when I needed a ride back to the shop, they kindly picked me up. The service was done rapidly and I felt the cost was much better than other shops I had called. I also really appreciate Margaret being there - as a woman it can always feel a little intimidating going into car repair shops that are owned and operated solely by men because there is a stereotype that we wont know what we need and its their job to upsell us. I think having a woman at the shop helps build trust among other female clientele like myself and gives Big O a competitive edge.

I was greeted by Josh, who was very professional and friendly, I had went online to make the appointment, this was my first time at this Big O tires, I came in for 2 tires and wheel alignment, which was priced fairly, Josh noticed that my rotors and brake pads were needed to be replaced so had them replaced fairly priced. I had a little wait but overall I was happy to know i would not have to worry on the road. I also noticed while i was there Josh was very well liked by all the customer, that speaks alot about customer satisfaction, I am truly satisfied.

I will only take my car and truck here they are the best. They are friendly, honest and have never once tried to up sell me. In fact I once ask about replacing a part, general questions not a concern, and was told why spend the money replacing it if its not leaking. They could have easily tried and talked me into replacing something or fixing it but instead they told me to save my money. Who does that? This family does.

As usual, I stopped by to have one of my cars checked cause it started to squeal when I used used brakes. I asked if there was an opening available as I didnt make an appointment and was going to wait for it to be looked at. Margaret got me in 10 minutes later and one of the mechanics had me come and look at my brakes and rotors, good thing I came in that morning. Replaced rotors and pads on the front axle, the back was fine. As Ive always said, this is the only place I have my vehicles worked on unless they dont do whats needed, been a customer for over 15 years and have always been treated the way a customer should be.

I cannot say enough on how good the service is at this Big O Tires. The owner Terry, Josh and Margaret are wonderful. Terry went out of his way one day to help when another shop kept having trouble with work on my car. Then yesterday I go for the works and there was a slight oversight on my tire size. Had my two littles with me and Margaret caught it right off the bat waisted no time letting me know so I didnt waste anytime waiting. Came today for the work to be done and Margaret then AGAIN goes above and beyond for me. Absolutely amazing people. Listened to her on the phones and she knows it all. After my oil change, my car kept making a sound coming from the front as I drove. I had to open my hood later and found that one of the caps in the hood was open and was not put back on so that was making the noise.Kind of disappointed.

After shopping on-line for a tonneau cover for my F150 I found a dealer close to me and I went to Big-O-Tire and low and behold the owner had the cover I wanted on his F150.
