Honestly this is the best bagels for miles around. Being born and raised in Brooklyn, NY I know my bagels The prices are very reasonable for the way it tatse and the different varieties of bagels and different cream cheeses that they offer. The staff hasnt been the most friendly to me but the bagels are pretty great. I wouldnt say they have New York flavor but they still are good!

Small, cozy bagel shop with sandwich and coffee brew options. Love their bagels, breakfast sandwiches and customer service. They are on par with the chain competitors options. My only suggestion is to order in advance (they can get pretty busy) and improve on their food portions.

I love a good bagel sandwich with Turkey, cream cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion... Toasted!!! Delicious, customer service is nice, and you get what you pay for! My ONLY complaint is their closing hour!!! It closes way too early😞

This place is always a good choice if you are craving for something fast but not fast food. Their bagels are great and they do have a good amount of different types of bagels. Their breakfast sandwiches are great. In regards to service, I have visit this place a lot, and they have given me the wrong order one that all. Believe that a good thing, they seem to be consistent on how they run the business. They are friendly. Prices are great and they do offer a great choice if you want to spend what you would at a fast food restaurant without the junk food associated with it. I recommend this place to anyone that wants to enjoy a well done bagel.

Delicious and fairly priced bagels. Tons of variety not just in bagels, but also the toppings. SO YUMMY. My one critique, and its not even their fault, its just my schedule. I wish they would open earlier so I could make this a regular breakfast spot. I work night shifts at a 911 call center and the coworkers were raving about this place so I had to try it, even if I had to wait in the parking lot for an hour. 😅 So worth the wait!!

This place makes really good bagel bread it’s all done in house but the customer service here has always been bad in my experience. These girls always have attitude I’m not sure if they’re overworked or something but they have yelled at each other in front of us and they have made smart remarks when giving us our food. Now we’ve kept going because like I said the bread of this bagel is good but additionally the portion size of this might not be worth it at times with customer service like that. Also they don’t season their eggs which is just a personal thing for me but could be a good future way to improve their business and flavor of their bagel.

I love this little breakfast shop! The bagels reminds me of being back in in NYC. I love the variety and how quick the food is prepared. Very yummy and the bagels are made fresh on side.

Always have had a good experience here, until today. waited almost an hour for my order, saw call in orders come in and theirs weren’t ready, and made big orders before others. very disappointing.

You can tell how well liked a place is by the amount of traffic it gets. If you go into Bagel Tyme and its slow... you got lucky with your timing!This is by far my favorite breakfast place in Merced. I have never had a bad bagel or bad breakfast sandwich here.My favorite is their jalapeno bagel toasted with egg, Canadian bacon, and pepper jack cheese. Its fantastic!

The employees are too busy talking and no one seems to be working with a sense of urgency. This place is only worth it if you call ahead. The bagels are amazing but they need to work on speed.

Stopped by for breakfast before early morning road trip--liked that they open so early even on weekends. Their bagels are good, but the egg in the egg & ham bagel--that was pre-cooked--was not warm enough after the bagel was being toasted.

I loved it before the pandemic and I still do bagels ate always fresh and for staff Ill h Ive them a 10 stars they are so friendly.

First off, bagel orders were completely wrong. I ordered bacon, received sausage. My fiancé ordered sausage and bacon, only received bacon. And to top to off, I waited 20 minutes for my blended drink. Was done eating, and then had to go back inside to get it.

The phone line is always busy when you try to place a take out order so today I went inside. I was told my order would take 10-12 mins so I came back 10 mins later, as I was waiting inside for my order 10 mins goes by. The cashier asked me what my order was. She said they called your order but no one answered.Customer service needs improvement!

These bagels are the real deal. True N.Y. style. Chewey, not the puffy, bready imitations found at so many of the places in suburban strip malls (like Noahs) that call themselves N.Y. style. Highly recommended.

My family and I moved to Atwater almost 2 years ago and we discovered Bagel Tyme during one of adventures through Merced to get familiar with the area. We love bagels and breakfast sandwiches and Bagel Tyme has yet to disappoint us.I like to switch up my choices of bagels and cream cheese so I can try them all. Everything I have tried is amazing!The bagels are always fresh and so flavorful. My personal favorite is the Pesto Parm bagel and the sun dried tomato cream cheese.My boys favorite bagel is the cinnamon sugar bagel.The staff are also super friendly!If you havent tried Bagwl Tyme, try it! You will not be disappointed!

Wait took a little too long. I was on my lunch and i waited here my entire break for 2 bagels. Theres no reason it should take 45 mins to get out two bagels. Other than that it was fine.

It can get easily packed so if its your first time try to go early to get fresh bagels if not call it in to pick up your order. Try them, especially their garlic bagel with jalapeño cheddar cream cheese... So good... It is worth the wait.

Bagel Tyme is always the best tyme. The best bagels in town, hands down! The people are friendly and kind, the service is quick, the atmosphere is always welcoming and decorated for whatever season it is. Ive been going since they opened in 1997, and all other bagels pale in comparison!!

The loaded bagel is the best food invention since the normal bagel. My best high school memories involve bagels from Bagel Tyme and it is due to their great service, convenient location, and (of course) their bagels!

Great bagel shop really cute offers indoor dining or to go. My favorite is their poppy seed bagel it’s done just right. Try the New York Style bagel sandwich, it’s a little expensive but if you like lox and cappers then this is a clear winner.

Bagels are authentic NY style. Sandwiches made the way you like. Fraps give Starbucks competition! Friendly staff always welcoming. They make their own cream cheeses and Bagels from scratch daily. Wow!

Blueberry bagel doesnt taste like much. I will stick with my usual everything bagel with jalapeno cheddar cream cheese. That one is amazing. Workers are always very polite and the place is clean.

This place is average. You could easily make all these items at home, honestly they might turn out better at home. I ordered a bagel sandwich and the bagel wasn’t toasted and the egg inside was a thin patty. It didn’t look or taste like a real egg. It’s was a very sad breakfast sandwich.

Good food and nice staff. However the owner needs to hire a professional cleaning company to clean the fans. They are disgusting and when they are on the dust goes into the food. Poor employees for having to put up with that.Update: Went back in and the fans looked amazing! I am so glad they care about what their customers think. I will definitely be going back and I am a very satisfied customer 😁

Ive visited a few times. The food is quite good, but the service is unfathomably slow. It would be worth visiting more often, at least in my opinion, if the service was faster.

Bagel Tyme was good. The hungrier you are obviously the better something tastes. I was pretty hungry when I went. There are pretty girls that work there who are easy to talk to and sometimes local LEOs and veterans are seen there.

Soooooooo slow. We arrived at 10:43, ordered one bagel sandwich and one bagel/cream cheese, then waited, and waited, and waited. We finally received our order at 11:32. Thats right, almost 50 minutes for two bagels ordered at the counter. During our wait I overheard the employees apologizing to two other customers for what appeared to be mistakes on their orders, and other parties appeared to have long waits too. I finally had to ask how much longer we might have to wait. We were then told that they forgot our order due to a shift change, and they made amends by giving us a free pastry (which was tasty, as were the bagels). Nice gesture, but still, I doubt well be returning any time soon. They just dont have it well enough under control at this point.

Great bagels, awesome service recommend calling order in during busy hours as line can be long. Oh and a few select tasty pastries also like chocolate croissants and cream cheese strawberry turnover. They have good drinks also one of the best white mochas in town.

Family owned and operated. A great place to get more than just service. The food, the people, and the quaint little bagelry all come together to give you great little meal or snack. As a recent addition, they offer cakes, and other baked confections on order for pickup. I would highly recommend this little local institution to anyone!

Every time we have been here, before this most recent trip, it has been excellent. Friendly staff, clean place, and good food. Unfortunately, this was not the case. The staff was frazzled, the bakery unkept, and the food took 45 minutes to come out. The availability of bagels was very low, usually they have tons off options. Maybe a third was there, and it seemed it was due to staffing. There was a girl that didnt seem to know what she was doing, Breanna I believe, who kept on messing up orders. We watched 3 plates come back because it wasnt right. In the cafe there were 8 tables, and only 1 actually had food. The rest were filled with frustrated customers. Huge let down from usually a great place. If this is the new standard, count us out.

First time visiting, will not be the last! My wife and I had the NY Special (cream cheese, lox, onion, tomato, and capers) on fresh, crispy bagels. My wife has to come to Merced from Los Banos everyday for radiation treatments and we will definitely make this a routine stop!

Their bagels are good and staff are nice, but they are always understaffed and takes too long to get a bagel!! Usually only one person makes all the orders.

Frequently out of the bagels I like, even early in the morning. Also, they seem to often take the phone of the hook, wasting my time. I have even gone in before and told them that I think the phone was off the hook and sure enough it was. Today tried calling ahead several times over several minutes and nothing but a busy signal. So screw it, decided not to get breakfast there.
