Totally ripped off you . Stay a way with this place. My family member had a break job done. With dubble the charge. And gave a estimate for the rear breaks and drums. Without even remove and Check. If this crooked mechanic know you are from collage student. They make a good estimate for noting and try to charge 2 times higher for the job. Never ever trust this place. Definitely go for the second opening. You will know the difference. This company still live because of poor college students who are trying to work hard in college and get scam with this company.

They almost killed my family. My grandmother and sister went for shocks and struts and she noticed that her van veered off to the right. She brought her vehicle back, and after whatever repairs they performed they sent her on her way with the driver side tire barely hanging on, missing lug nuts and the rest were not even hand tight and they told her to drive it back as if it were safe! Then, they falsified documents stating that the tech did his job right the first time, this was my grandmothers fault, and that they were replacing missing lugs as a courtesy and they wanted her to sign it off! These people are criminals and should NOT BE TRUSTED by any means necessary.

They were to insisting in fixing things in the car. I only wanted an oil change. Oh And expensive even though, yes you guessed it i used a coupon.

Try some where else, they really try to charge you for anything and everything

I got screwed over at midas..went in for a rear differential fluid change and replace a pinion seal they caused 800 dollars in damage to my truck..Waiting too see if they make it right..should find out Monday 01/01/21..Ill keep you posted

Jaylyn was the receptionist the day I went in. She served great customer service making sure that all the customer were comfortable. Even though it was very busy she was very respectful and apologizing to everyone of the wait time. She was talkative and had a smile the whole time. I had an appointment at 12 and went in 20 minutes early. They were able to pull my car in 10 minutes early. The wait wasn’t that long.

There is a wait time. But they do get the job done and all the staff is always friendly and very educated and knowledgeable of their services and products they sell. Thank you.

They may be fast and convenient; but they are scammers with their recommended services. This is the second time that theyve recommended thousands of dollars in repairs; absolutely none of which were needed, nor necessary.Complete BS and simply infuriating.Take your business elsewhere.

I have nothing but good things to say about this Midas store. Dan Butler got me right in to do a complete front brake job, plus rotors, it has been only a couple of days. But so far so good. Thank you!

Terrible service. I was greeted promptly by the new person. It all went downhill from there. New guy was going to help me but got distracted. Waited over 15 minutes standing in the counter while employees are in front of me looking confused. New guy looked confused with the parts delivery guy and guy on the phone needed help from manager. Manager was more worried on eating his burger then to help is employees. Breaking point was when new customer walked in and they started to help them. Seemed like I was invisible to them. This store needs leaders. Leaders help their team and customers, not walk past them

I received a stellar service from this Midas location! I usually hate going to franchises but the new manager Brandon really helped me out and even worked on my car himself because I was in a hurry! Will definitely be going back from here on out!

Not happy with this place at all. I believe that they are under new management and it has only gotten worse. Took my car in for an oil change and through their inspection they found two things wrong with my vehicle that would cost me about $700. Due to the fact that my car is still under warranty I took it to the Chevy dealership for them to take a look at it. The HONEST people at Chevy found absolutely nothing wrong with my car. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed with Midas. I will never take my car here again!!

I had my a/c tuned up at this location and was totally disappointed. They say right on the invoice that they are responsible to refund the freon that they take out of your system and you are only charged for the extra freon installed. Well my system holds 18oz they admitted to taking out 11oz from my system and only having to add 7oz but yet they charged me for a full 18oz. So they are scamming people everyday and I will never return to ANY Midas again.... Hope the $27.50 was worth loosing a customer.

Waited 40 minutes past appointment time, with no communication on delay. Workers in shop standing around majority of time. Needless to say, left without my scheduled oil change.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I should have left a review sooner but better late than never, A few months back I took my van in for a tune up, went in with absolutely no problems or leaks. They also worked on my brothers car and forgot to put his air filter on and he was driving around without it for over a week, well they changed my brothers brakes clearly didn’t bolt everything back correctly and my brothers brakes locked up on him on the freeway a few days later. Well after that happened with my brothers car I went back to them because they had just did my tune up on my vehicle 2 days prior and with me having small children I just wanted them to reassure me they did everything correctly to my vehicle. They then proceeded to tell me I had some type of oil leak and want $350 to fix it, so now my car is leaking oil and it wasn’t prior to taking my vehicle to them!! I would not recommend them to anyone. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MY OIL LEAK!!

If I could give this place -5 stars I would. The mechanics dont know what theyre doing. They lie. They try to make themselves sound smarter than what they actually are. I came in with my car making a loud noise, I only wanted that problem resolved. They called and told me they were 99% sure that it was one thing, turns out it wasnt. Which they knew and still operated on the thing they knew was wrong. Idiots!!!!!

For a Vehicle Inspection only---So I can only give it a 4 stars because I dont normally go here for any sort of auto issue related...anything! But my experience here for the 1st time was great!!I went in for a vehicle inspection and it costed $29.99 and they pulled out my cabin and engine air filters to see if I wanted them changed out. I paid for both since they were nasty looking. They made the process super easy and fast. They asked me if I knew anyone named Lolo because whom ever changed my oil last wrote By Lolo :) on something inside during an oil change. I had only taken my car to Walmart for oil changes. So obviously Lolo works at Walmart auto care center in Merced.I was in and out of Midas in like 30-40 minutes.I am going to try and get an oil change here and see how they are. Along with other services they offer.

I brought my car in for an air A/C diagnostic because I had a coupon. They added Freon (for a charge) and said that it was fixed. They stated that there were no Freon leaks.Had to take the car back the following week when the A/C quit working. They stated that they couldnt check for leaks because their sniffer was broken (I guess that is why the didnt detect a leak the first time), so they added Freon and told me to bring the car back in a few days.I brought it back, and they checked for leaks stating that they could feel it with their hand and changed the high side hose and o-rings. Before I picked the car back up they said that they found another leak in the condenser and it would need to be replaced.After the condenser was replaced, I picked up the car and drove it for 3 days before the A/C quit working.Took the car back and they replaced the low side hose. The A/C didnt even last a day.I took it back on a Friday. On Monday I got a call from the manager saying that the evaporator needed to be replaced.Basically after weeks in the shop and over $900 my A/C was worse. The manager stated that the work that they did was the right way to get to the real problem and that a new evaporator would cost over $1000.Had they have quoted me $2000 to fix the A/C to begin with, I would have taken it elsewhere.For the month of July, my car was at Midas more than at my house, and it never got fixed.We filed a complaint with Corporate and they had us take it to the Turlock Midas for a second opinion. Turlock Midas looked at it and said that the Merced branch did it the same way that they would have.I asked Turlock branch if every part needed to be replaced or should they have been able to locate the leak the first time. They repeated the previous statement. I wouldnt recommend the Turlock branch either.Its hard for me to believe that EVERY component of my A/C system went out at the same time. I dont believe that there was no way to find the problem without replacing everything. And if that is the case, I should have been quoted that.I did get the A/C fixed by another garage. It cost $800. They were confused at how Midas could charge $900 and not resolve the problem.So am I.
